I hired Channa to help me with my child custody case. It is clear that Channa has an extensive knowledge of the law, which was very important in my case. She is strategic in the courtroom and not afraid to be aggressive when appropriate. I had a lot of questions and thoughts throughout my child custody case. She showed me a lot of grace and patience during this time (I had a lot of anxiety). My case was very cloudy, and it took an abundance of thoughtful preparation to make sure the clear picture could be seen in court. Additionally, her staff has always been friendly and accommodating. I am thankful I had Channa and Megan by my side throughout one of the most stressful times of my life.

I do not think there are enough words to express how THANKFUL and BLESSED I am that CHANNA BORMAN was my lawyer! Channa and her entire team are the most patient, understanding and genuinely caring people I have ever come across, and when you are facing the worst and most stressful, even scary times in your life, the team who handles your case will make all the difference in the world. I wouldnt have hired anyone else. I know coming to Channa was not only the best thing I could have done for me and my children, but it was a God Thing... My case was anything but normal and amicable and civil-to say the least, and yet there was not anything that I faced that Channa had not already endured and overcome before in her career. Not even sure where to start. Read the other reviews. Deceptive billing practices. Constantly extending cases and reviewing to generate additional billing. When you dont bow down and agree with how they want your case to go, they show their true colors. I have never felt so disrespected from a HIRED attorney. They will take you under their wing initially, while slowly grabbing your wallet from behind. The other responses from the firm to negative reviews say they will would make things right but this is to maintain their public image. The positive reviews are for billing discounts. They just want your money.. dont be fooled. I could have handled my own case and been done months ago with the same outcome. Save yourself, go elsewhere. This place is a joke. Mediocre, silver spoon fed attorneys only concerned with lining their pockets. Youve been warned.

Channa Borman represented me in my recent divorce and I cannot say enough good things about her and her team. She respected my feelings, let me borrow her backbone when I lost mine, sent reminders for all of the things I needed to do, and was fully prepared to go to court before we stepped into mediation. She didnt let me get pushed around or let the opposition distract from the point. It felt like having a friend have my back when I was truly up against the wall. I would absolutely hire CE Borman and Associates again if I ever need an attorney.

You have to repeat yourself over and over again. If you talk to your attorney and repeat yourself they charge you again. They dont really listen as reflected in the paperwork following conversations with your attorney. Extremely frustrating to work with. They will pressure you using time constraints and money to make you feel insecure. The original attorney assigned to me seemed to just want to hurry the case instead of actually listen to me. I feel like I often had to do my own research and point out mistakes. If I had to choose them again I certainly wouldnt. I was not a Channa, btw. I feel like so much money has been wasted because of their poor communication and listening skills. The original attorney that was assigned to me had a very unprofessional attitude towards me when I had concerns. He was annoyed, rolled his eyes and showed all body language of frustration with me when all I was doing was seeking clarification and taking my time to make life changing decisions regarding me and my children. It was intimidating and pressured me. I had to request from The firm to work with a different attorney. I feel mistakes are still being made and I am not truly being heard. I do not recommend this firm. Update: I was just signed another attorney by this firm and he was absolutely wonderful. He did the best job anyone could cleaning up the other attorneys mess and I am very satisfied with his performance. He really took his time to listen to my needs and follow through. He made me feel like a real person instead of just dollar signs.

Ha. Have always heard people talk about how lawyers are crooks and never really knew why, but now I do. Way to much wrong to list what is wrong with this firm. Dont. Just dont. This is an edit being as in a cant find a way to reply to your reply. I sent you, Chanda, several emails about me being unhappy. I even made a comment to the last lawyer we saw about how unhappy we were and what the problems were. And no, what we wanted was not actually done, went the best route with the options you gave us and what was told could be done. We got done what we had already paid you for so we could then take our case elsewhere for what we actually wanted. So nice try.

Channa Borman is the ONLY attorney I would ever refer someone to or recommend. I use to work for Channa as a paralegal until my daughter became sick. I know how Channa works and the high expectations she holds her employees to. She is the most honest attorney I have ever known. If she feels like a client is fighting a losing battle, she will let them know right away. If a client needs to hear the truth, she will certainly give it to them. She ALWAYS has the best interest of her client in mind. If she does not believe her firm can represent the best interest of a client, she makes it known.
