There are so many good choices for barbecue in Texas. I don t recommend this one. The service was great, but the brisket was 93% fat. I will say that the turkey was amazing, but that brisket was not pleasant.

I visited on 7-16 and had the ribs. They were the worst I have had in my life. They were overcooked to the point where the bone was soft enough to break off and be accidentally eaten with the meat. The meat was severely shrunk onto the bones. The fries were good but the ketchup was some sort of awful off brand. The BBQ sauce was not very good either and I found it better to not use it. A colleague ordered loaded nachos and they looked very underwhelming and cheap. She only ate a couple bites of it. Maybe it is a Texas thing but why is the Texas toast not toasted with some sort of seasoned butter? It was literally a piece of plain bread. Ill stick to Alabama BBQ!

Convenient that ATKM is open later and in Sunday. Didn t expect much to be available, but full menu still served. Maybe because it was later, but brisket was semi-dry, kinda bland and with limited bark seasoning. Sausage seemed mass-produced. Beans and potato salad were both tasty. Nice local beer selection and servers were excellent. Cool space on Main Street. Will give them another shot earlier in the day.

The coleslaw was ok. Do not go despite the supposed 5 star reviews. We did not eat our lunch it was so bad. . Left hungry.

Cool little bar/restaurant in downtown Bryan. We got lunch here after an Aggie game. They food (bbq) and service was great but their taps weren t working. I was hoping for a great craft beer (their selection was impressive) but we had to settle for a can of standard domestic beer. I heard they are rebranding soon to a hot chicken restaurant.

This is the best barbecue in the Bryan/College Station area in my opinion! There is literally nothing on this menu that you could order that is bad. I love the brisket with the cole slaw, but the absolute winner is the candied pork belly. I really did not know what to expect with it, but its the most delightful thing Ive ever tried at a barbecue place. The service here is always great and its in a wonderful location in downtown Bryan. I cant wait to come back!

So this was my first Texas Bbq and it did not disappoint! I walked in feeling out of place but was immediately greeted by a very warm and friendly waitress who was extremely diligent to get me settled in and hydrated (its been hot like hot never knew yall!). I ordered the fattier brisket and the chicken quarter. The brisket was so tender it almost crumbled when you touched it... and did so when trying to pick it up with a fork! It was delicious without the sauce, but the sauce... took things to another orbit. The chicken had that strange taste that good bbq has i cant put my finger on but it was good too, and with the sauce... it was a whole other world! I didnt think sauce would make much difference bc i genuinely like the natural flavors, but this was so good i couldnt stop flooding my plate with it! The fries were also piping hot, crispy and delicious! The waitress was so kind to everyone... other customers, other coworkers, me... What a plus on top of delicious food! Thank you!

Great food and awesome service! I partook in a chopped brisket sandwich with all the trimmings. Moist brisket is a must-have for me. Although they ran out of that part of the meat, the brisket in my sandwich was juicy and well seasoned. My husband dined on the ribs. They were tender, falling off the bone, and flavorful, to say the least! To top it all off, we ordered a couple of Bourban Pecan Pie for to-go but immediately ate it as soon as we got back to our hotel room. The slices of pie were pretty petite compared to what were used to when we order desserts in Texas restaurants... Anywho, always a great experience when we can make it out from The Woodlands, TX! Would highly recommend eating at All Kings Men!

My husband and I used to love this place- it was one of the best places to eat in B/CS. Now, it s just okay. They got rid of our favorite items: the apple slaw and the Mac and cheese. We weren t offered the coffee BBQ sauce so I think that is gone too. Without those items on the menu, it doesn t have anything that sets it apart from other cheaper shops in town. I will say: our service was good and the pickles have always been stellar.

Ive never had bbq this salty a day in my life. The chicken was so salty I couldnt eat it, the candied pork belly was extremely tough and tasted like it was brined in straight sugar, and was black as tar!!! If any restaurant has the audacity to charge the high prices they do, they should be the best around. Unfortunately, I cant recommend this place at all. If you have high blood pressure, do NOT eat here because of the amount of salt on their meats. I am beyond disappointed and have no plans to ever eat here again. Ive never had bbq like this. Especially in TX!!! Ive had better in Canada believe it or not, but this is horrible to say the least. Highly disappointing on so many levels

***UPDATE**** after their recent updates and changes absolutely none of this is the case. I don t know what happened but it s not at all the same. 30 minutes to get pickles and onions when it s empty. Food is extremely dry. Brisket has a beef jerky consistency. Sausage was lacking in flavor and felt particle-y. Burnt ends are cold and taste like meat gum. It s honestly a shame how far the quality has dropped since my original review. The coleslaw is amazing though, I would absolutely order that again. Life altering brisket. Seriously, it melts in your mouth it s so tender and delicious. Only come here if you re prepared to have all future brisket be disappointing that it doesn t compare to all the kings men.

Flavor is good, but sadly the meat is dangerously oversalted. Additionally, I got the meidas touch and after 24 hours am now fighting some foodborne pathogen that Im certain was from this sandwich. Please try and maintain safe food holding temperatures as this sandwich was certainly not hot. Especially the mac on top, it was tepid at best. Also this sandwich came with onions which were absolutely rancid. Even under hot chopped beef an onion slice should not be flaccid and sour tasting. Do better

Was looking forward to trying this, and came by for lunch with some business partners. The place was not busy, and Im hoping our experience was a one off but the food tasted rancid. Pulled pork was inedibly dry. The brisket was flavourless. The Mac and Cheese was coagulated and tasted slightly of vomit, the bread was stale, and the onions tasted so bad I couldnt eat the meat that touched them. Im not sure how they managed to get a sliced raw onion to taste so bad. We were a party of six, and felt rushed to hand back our plates - which had we liked the food would have been a problem - and to get the check. The server also kept interrupting flowing conversation, which was a bit of a buzz kill and just not good service. Redeeming factors? The pickles were good, thick and crisp. The sausage had flavour. Sadly, the charging for the extras e.g. onion, pickles, jalapeños seemed tight at the price point and we did not get good value. We love supporting local businesses, but will not recommend this one. One of the investors loves bbq, and I found the result pretty embarrassing. Half of the menu being chicken tenders is never a good sign, unfortunately. In a town with as many great BBQ options as this one, this simply cannot be the experience other people get, so I assume a huge number of things went wrong today in the kitchen.

**Inflated ratings, due to a special if you rate them 5 stars, you get 5% off of your order.** For a Saturday morning, at opening, the restaurant had no chicken tenders, Mac N Cheese, or turkey. (This is about half the proteins on the menu) The staff was very kind and courteous in communicating this (which was why I gave them 2 stars, over 1) but this reflects poorly on the ownership. It was graduation weekend in BCS on a Saturday, wouldn t you be stocked up ready to go? Also, people in other reviews mentioned they had the lean, which means they were offered a choice, which we were not. Our brisket was very dry, and tasted like liquid smoke. If you want BBQ in Bryan, try Fargos.

She recommended the sliced brisked, and candied pork belly for lunch and the mac & cheese as a side. We were not disappointed at all. Brisket was very flavorful and juicy. Candied pork belly was a taste all its own - well cooked pork belly and the sauce was a great combo of spicy and sweet, not too much of either. We sat at a booth and the only issue was the way cool music may have been slightly louder than Id have liked for a business meeting. Will definitely be going back on my next trip to Bryan!

Meal was good, but messy, waitress great & helpful. Parking: TOUGH, not a lot of choices, only on street & got there for early lunch since the other 2 tries NO SPACES for over a block! NOT that hungry.

I used to work right next door and have had a couple great experiences with food and bar staff. Not nearly as many as my former boss, then GM of the LaSalle. She practically lives there.

I ordered the smoked turkey sandwich and a regular side of grits; it was $22 with T&T. The slaw was decent, everything else was very dry. Dry bread, dry turkey, no sauce, and the grits were the opposite of creamy. My benchmark of barbecue is whether it is better than what you can get at Buccees (a chain gas station) and this failed the test. I understand turkey is hard to smoke without drying out but if the gas station can do it... At least cover up the sins with sauce. The flavor was mild and it didnt particularly taste like turkey but the rub was fine. The grits were unpalatable to me personally and I did have more than a few bites. The texture was thicker than mashed potatoes which Ive never experienced before, you could grout tile with the stuff. It also did not taste like I expected (butter, cream, salt, pepper, garlic); it had some other acrid flavor I couldnt identify but found unappealing. The location and ambiance is nice. The service was friendly and my food was out incredibly quickly, although I wish it had taken longer and been good. For the price (even excluding the off brand Dr Pepper which they forgot to put on my bill), I cant overlook the quality issues; there are plenty of other options in downtown Bryan which I would prefer to revisit or try.

Good BBQ, not great. The good. The sides were good. Gouda mac and cheese and beans with meat. Location is excellent in the heart of downtown Bryan. The vibe is very good. The bad. Brisket and pulled pork was average. The sauce was decent. Boots brand soda? I could have brought my own Shasta cola... Dont expect to be moved...

very tasty brisket and pulled pork (the pulled pork is a bit peppery); the BBQ beans have shredded meat and a little chili powder (first time i tasted such a combination, and i liked it very much); the slaw is unconventional and mildly flavored by the main ingredients (green apple and jicama)

First time eating here. The food was delicious, and they had the best BBQ sauce that I ve ever tasted. The staff was friendly & helpful. But, the price was outrageously expensive. I know the costs of everything are at an all-time high, but it was $85 for my 2 young daughters and me to eat lunch today. That was difficult to justify, even with the economy in the state it is in.

My chopped beef sandwich was delicious - and I especially enjoyed the potato salad (although the Mac and Cheese was excellent too). Staff was friendly and efficient - and the Boots Beverages are a local treat. (I started eating and was enjoying it so much that I almost forgot to take pictures. Sorry for the half-eaten shots.)

I was welcomed upon entering the door, and the staff told me about each of the different meats that they specialize in, gave me his recommendations. The candied burnt ends were incredible --- I cant wait to go back. The old fashioned was amazing.
