Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Whataburger is a Texas tradition and like all fast food the concept differs from store to store. This store like most was clean and well stocked with friendly people who only want to make the experience and product as well as possible. The fries were hot and were prefect for dipping. The burgers were made as ordered and all is good.

Love the food but lately sadly every time I come and order my food and get home the last 4 times its never made right and Im missing food that I ordered with the meals and such. I know I should check but being a busy mom sometimes you dont think until you get home. But the last 4 times my food hasnt been made right or Im given the wrong food items. Im not sure if Ill go back, but other then that mishap it really is a good place to go to. Just make sure you check your stuff thats all!

My husband and I regularly come here. But today you have lost our business. When I m eating and you let someone bring their hairy dog in holding them at the counter and hovering over the drink fountain I think is very disgusting. If it was a service dog I could understand. They are important but very respectful. But this lady was carrying this dog and it was obvious it wasn t a service animal. Dogs or any animal do not belong in restaurants. No more service from us and I will let friends and family know of this.

For fast food, Whataburger is a bit better than the rest, in my opinion. This time around, I decided to try the chili cheese burger and fries. The burger was great. The chili cheese taste alongside mustard, cheese, and beef was a splendid and delicious treat.The fries, on the other hand, barely had any chili cheese on them. Burger is a thumbs . Fries are a thumbs down. The workers were courteous and kind. They treated me with not only respect but dignity as well.

There was an older gentleman on the night shift, and he couldnt control the teenage grill workers. One blonde kid was creating a negative atmosphere by his constant interactions with others that slowed down the cooking process. In the end I waited 15 minutes for a burger wrapped in 5 layers of wrappers that caused it to be squashed.

This whataburger has a Nascar theme for the inside. Its great, there is lots of race memorabilia inside the store. The store was very clean and the staff was very friendly! I tried the BBQ chicken strip sandwich on Texas toast and it was very good. I very much recommend this whataburger.

I will never patronize this location again. I pass this location 5 days a week, and its a valid reason they never have anyone in their drive-thru. I ordered a Taquito and asked for the tortilla to be well cooked. I could see the cook scooping the eggs/sausage from a nasty looking plastic container. I got to work and opened it up. The eggs were dry and tortilla hard and raw. Stopped another morning and had a sausage egg biscuit. The eggs had hard edges . I am done!

Went through the drive through and they asked me what kind of ketchup i wanted. I asked for lots of spicy ketchup, she looked down at her big pile of ketchup and only gave me to 2 which is the bare miniumum. Asked for more and they hesistated for a second like its coming out of their paycheck. Stingy cheap place starting to feel like mcdonalds.

Messed up my order big time. Ordered 2 burgers only, got a Jr. One did not order.. Asked for mustard and mayonnaise, only got mayonnaise. Extra pickles were all at the bottom one side and other side no pickles. Found pickles on last bites.
