Quiet and calm. Beautiful sun rise over the trees. Playground: Old school equipment, like sitting on a hot sheet pan slides, merrigo round, jungle gym... Its not a great playground in comparison to other options that are not far away.... but if you want the 90s kid playground experience, this is great, lol. There is boat access to the lake with a good parking lot for truck and trailer. Toilets: 1 set of bathrooms that arent super clean but better than a lot of parks. 2 stalls in the ladies and had toilet paper stocked and trash empty. And sinks that worked to wash hands. No soap. Dog-friendliness: There is plenty of room to take your fur baby and not intrude in peoples space. Picnic area: There are a lot of trees and concrete picnic tables. Off a very busy road. Lots of trees!! PLEASE PICK UP YOUR TRASH AND KEEP THE PARK CLEAN!!!! YOU MAY HAVE TO WALK OR DRIVE TO A DUMPSTER. But help the parks and rec dept keep it nice. They are always there in the morning and maintaining the park.

Great place to launch our boat. It was not overcrowded, so there was plenty of space to park. The marina has facilities and there is a restaurant nearby.

We love this Lake, its Clean and Clear as Beautiful as a Lake should be. The Stripes and Big Mouth Bass are awesome . This morning we were out and the Dang fish were hitting Big time. They were so heavy that one actually straightened my Swivel and I lost my Lure. We love the enjoyment here at Belton Lake.

Great time on the lake. Enjoyed reading on the shore as the boats came by. Some areas were closed due to resent flooding, but we fished off the shore by the marina. Sunsets was beautiful. No restrooms, we used the restrooms at the gas stations nearby before our visit. All in all it was enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Lady at the front was nice, but said she heard many people saying other places around show closed on Google. This doesn t show closed but they are temporarily closed probably due to storm damage or flooding. Many people are coming because Google says it s open but it s not. Requested Google to update to temporarily closed. Wish I could have visited! Drove all the way out there.

There is so much trash its just sickening. Too many lazy people that for some reason think its to hard to take out what they took in. Its a shame. It could be a beautiful area. I would love to see massive fines being placed on these lazy inconsiderate people.

Things are a little outdated but its a great area, nice shaded pavillion that you can rent daily at a reasonable price. (Has to be done online) lots of shade and benches. Access to swim down to the water.

Even if you ignore the horrible state of the toilets, there is clear drug abuse in the bathrooms, beer bottles in the parking lot. This is not the park you want to take your kids to. Steer clear, pay five dollars to go to the temple park five minutes away instead. Toilets: Awful. Picnic area: Abandoned.

Dirty, disgusting, not well taken care of. Trash was spewing out of the grills, trash all along the picnic area, and over the edges. Picnic area: Unsatisfactory! Grills were dumpsters. Trash everywhere in the picnic area.

I LOVE this place. I go out there at least twice a week all alone just to sit and relax and meditate. Its beautiful. Peaceful and I definitely recommend it to others,. Just please!! Remove your litter.. for you and everyone else.

Always a pretty awesome place to go hang out or launch a boat. My only complaint would be that they really need to clean the place up the roads the fence the picnic tables the trails everything is either overgrown or broken. This park should remain open more throughout the year and so should they all! We need a place to escape to the outdoors and this is supposed to be a free country! Why are these Parks closed most of the year? Who makes these kinds of decisions for us? Seems a bit ridiculous !! Lighten up Belton or Bell county or whoever is making these silly decisions. Open this park, take care of it, and let the public enjoy it the way it was meant to be!

Lakeview pullout. One can walk down along the dam to fish. Sadly as usual another place for disrespectful folks to discard their garbage. Interesting assortment of hundreds of locks on the fence - good place to practice your picking skills. Ive seen this in other places where couples their vows to commit to each other.

A beautiful park on top of a bluff overlooking Lake Belton. The park was clean, offered several picnic areas including tables and grills. The restrooms were also clean. Pics posted.

Great place to catch bait and get your boat in the water. Has picnic benches and bbq stand-up pits. Playground and a pavilion right down the road!! Don t forget your sunscreen, life jacket and make a day of it!!

Very open love this lake, everything is usually pretty clean. Bathroom are not so clean. Water is pretty clean as well except for ZEBRA MUSCLES. Remember to clean, drain, dry, your boat! This picture is of the dam, couples take a lock, and in a symbolic way to show there commitment to each other lock it and toss the key. There are hundreds of them!
