Got here at 7 to just grab some sweet chili wings I had the exact same order yesterday the wings don t get to my table till 7:50 got here and the wings smell and taste like mango habanero they go remake it and bring it back and got home to still taste like mango habanero mind you sweet chili is a mild / sweet taste so I know what I m eating these wings taste spicy and sweet almost like mango habanero! Called John the manager to speak about it only for him to give me an attitude saying it s the right wings no John I had sweet chili yesterday and they never tasted like that ! But it s okay and instead of John being a manager and making it right to us he charge us full price great customer service John! :-)

Bad service, I went to order some wings and waited 30 minutes, they told me that their wings were burned and they would refund the money. I waited 20 minutes waiting for the refund and they told me that they couldnt, that within 3 days they could refund me. The way of serving is disastrous

Warning. Walk Away. Seriously, you ll thank me GM Josh is probably the worst GM. You wonder how he she got that position. One of those individuals who just doesn t get it. In stead of making life beautiful he makes ugly. Not a good person. You ll be doubled charged, keep track and check your bill very very closely. In my 50 years, never has someone been this rude or disrespectful . I m sorry I didn t warn everyone a couple of weeks ago on our first time visit. With friends, we were looking for a place to watch the Playoffs. As you walk in, sign saying, drink specials. $3 beers. The one we asked for on the sign, the server said we re out. Not a problem. He went to the bar and returned to us, said any beer $3. So we asked how about ShinerBock. He said, yes. Having a good time. When we asked for the bill, drinks were double the price. We called over our server, who was nice. He apologized and left with the bill. Thinking he was going to make it right. Comes back with this so-called GM. All he kept saying, you drank the beers so there s nothing I can do. Tried logic with the guy. Said we were told by the server, who even admitted that he told us $3 beer. But, this Josh kept saying the same thing, nothing I can do because you drank the beers. Didn t even back up his server. I told him, we would not of drank these beers if we knew the price you were charging. We were fine with any beer special. Like a kid, he kept saying the same thing.Never Ever had a experience like this. Treatment and someone saying the same thing over and over. Like I said. Makes zero sense. You get the customer one time. But you ll never see them again. The way I do business is it s a customer for life. Plus, like now you tell everyone about the horrible service and experience. Just don t get. So if you don t want to pay over $100 on what should be a $50 tab. Stay as far away from this joint. You will thank me for the heads up. Luci Coopers and Willie s. I can only speak for the bitters location pockets is the best thing that has happened to me and my wife. The bartenders are absolutely the best. They treat us like family. We treat them like family. Was there for the Ryan Garcia fight and the service was horrid. It was a $20 cover charge just to enter the building without knowing if any tables were open. After paying the charge we waited approximately 10 minutes to be helped at the bar. After they took our order, we asked how to put our name on the list for a table. We put our name on the list and were the 3rd people up. After about 30 minutes I checked the list. My name along with others were scratched off without calling me. I informed the staff and he said people have been paying to have their name first and he recommended I do the same. I said that s unacceptable and requested I be next up for a table. After another 30 minutes passed I finally left and wasn t contacted by pockets at all that night. This location is a joke if I could put a report in to corporate I would.

Great place to shoot pool, watch TV , and hear some of the latest and greatest tunes. The food is great for what they have to offer. The servers are friendly. I wasnt there during their busiest times, but I have a feeling it gets packed and loud. Great place to sharpen your skills. Will have to try the night seen.

Best new addition to the North side in a while. The tables are new and in great shape, no clunky warped sticks. Chill atmosphere with consistently great service from the staff. Ive also rented out their private room for a birthday gathering and its extremely reasonable. The room is the perfect size for a small get-together with enough room to spread out but still be semi intimate. Food is good, for bar food, but its still bar food

First time playing pool with the hubby at a pool hall. I had heard of this place from Sports Star Radio hosts. It was clean well spaced from other tables and the service was quick and fast. I went to go try this place for first time this Saturday night and I was really impressed with the service! My waitress Eileen was on it! Went last night(Tuesday night) for the first time. Had a blast the security gentleman did make me return to my car to put my mace away. However he walked us out to watch us and make sure we were safe. He was kind and professional and it was nice to be able to go out and not worry about some crazy person having something in the building. I knew I was safe. I met some friends here, and I will never be returning. They had a fake cop outside FRISKING people. If you need a rent-a cop carrying a real gun to be frisking your clients on a TUESDAY night, then you dont need to be open at all. If this location is so dangerous it requires people to be searched, then either hire a REAL cop, or shut down. Thats ignoring the fact that dude didnt even do a good job, I had a CAT tourniquet in my back pocket, he felt it and didnt even ask what it was. Could have been any number of prohibited items or weapons, but the rent a cop didnt care about the safety of the people inside. He was far more worried with my pocket knife, which I saw more than 5 other people inside with them obviously clipped onto their pockets. Didnt check my ankles either, a common place for a weapon to be concealed. Absolutely pathetic attempt at Security theater and all it does is leave a bunch of defenseless people in one area. Private companies can do what they want sure, but I wouldnt personally let them walk on you like this. Sure a pocket knife could be used as a weapon, but so could a pool cue, a cue ball, or a shattered glass, all of which are readily available inside, disregarding the fact that again, the rent a cop failed to even do a proper search. Actively endangering your clients by providing fake security is absolutely scummy. Good day

Beware if you reserve the VIP room. They require you to reserve the room by paying for the first hour in cash, then at the end of your reservation when time comes to pay, they will re-charge you for that hour. Get proof of your cash payment. This happened to us both times weve reserved the room, its obvious now why they want cash for the reservation, its hard to trace :). Both times they reluctantly removed the overcharge, but otherwise its a good place to play, and the service you get with the VIP room is great.

In san antonio for the day we were looking for a pool hall and found this place on tiktok. Eddie was our server and he was bomb!!! Joshua L was also working and they were both very friendly and super attentive. It added to the atmosphere. They made sure we had drinks while we played. Drinks are consistent. On the way out we were talking to the them and I tried a mango margarita with chamoy! This will be our spot when we are looking for a pool hall in San Antonio. Next time we know they have food. We will look forward to trying that.

My total was $10 on a Friday night when I checked my card on Sunday night I was charged almost $60 when I called the place they informed me that there is nothing that they can do. Started off frustrated, it s a Saturday night at a pool hall and there s no music because it was fight night and there wouldn t be any music played at all that night. Then we ordered drinks, 2 with alcohol and 1 non alcoholic all with coke. The coke was flat, no carbonation and was really sugary. Informed our waitress, she took the drinks and went and told the bartender. She returned and told me that they could make us new ones but she would have to ring it up again. I went and spoke the the bartender and told him that I would not pay for him to remake the drinks because they needed to fix the co2. He looked at me stupid and began to tell me that it wasn t the co2 that it was a new box of syrup and it takes a while for it to adjust and handed me a drink and told me to try it to see if it was still sweet. I tried the coke and informed him there wasn t any change. I order a water and told them we would think about other drinks later. At this point we went ahead and ordered some food. There were a few of us as we were celebrating my son s birthday. So we decided to go with the boneless wing platter. Little did we know that their idea of boneless wings were chicken breast cut in pieces (no breading) and way over cooked. They were as if they had been made earlier that day and been left under a warming light for hours. We ignored it and go about the evening. Everyone starts leaving and eventually it s just my husband and me there. We decided to play a couple more games and tell our waitress we were ready for the bill. She repeatedly kept asking if we were sure we could afford the bill as it was Steep . She hands me the bill I look over it to make sure I wasn t charging for the first three drinks at the beginning of the night. Low and behold there they were along with an extra coke. I tell her everything else was correct but I was not paying for those 4 drinks. She returns after speaking with the bartender and tells me that he took 3 of the drinks off but was leaving one of the cokes on because I tried it to see if it tastes the same. Our waitress was a sweet young lady but did struggle when we had an issue. Overall I would not return to either of these establishments.

This is a newer Pockets and it shows. The tables are clean and the cue sticks are nice and not messed up. The food is great and by that I mean the wings. We usually get the platter of wings. And split it amongst friends. The pool is $10 per hour and we usually stay about an hour an half. The drinks are good. Recommend the Tito s lemonade or something like that. They will check you at the front and card you as well so don t forget your wallet lol. Which happened to one of my friends.

These arent really the types of tables or the correct setup for serious pool players. This place, imo, is more for hanging out with friends for drinks. It was a good inviting atmosphere. However, it wasnt what I was looking for. Since the hourly charge for the pool tables is a bit high, I would definitely like to suggest encouraging staff to brush off the tables at least once daily. That would help keep the felt in better condition than they were in when I visited.

Great experience. Patted down at the entrance. Made me feel safer if everyone was also patted, making it safe for everyone. Good locals place to meet friends and play pool. Mercedes took very good care of us.

Definitely a great lowkey date night! $10 a hour for pool, and really cheap drinks!!!! Food was great and decent priced. Ask for Aaliya if you go, she was AMAZING and the service overall was GREAT!!!! 100% recommended!

1st time here. clean environment. Happy Hour 3pm-6pm. Bartender was great respectful and very helpful. Full menu. Along with bar. Not to much expensive. Casual wear. Clean Restrooms. Plenty of TV s to watch any sport. Definitely recommend.

Very nice, highly recommend checking out Pockets Billiards, friendly attentive staff, easy pricing, relaxed atmosphere, they do serve a limited menu and alcoholic beverages. Go during afternoon hours and have a great time.

Looks like a fun new place. Unfortunately we tried calling 3 times and making a reservation using the Google assistant function, but Google also couldnt get ahold of anyone. We arrive and there are very few other customers, so were not sure why no one was able to answer the phone. Would have been nice to find out ahead of time that theyre doing last call 2 hours and 15 minutes earlier than their posted closing time. Well try to remember to give this place a second shot some other time.

Ok so the only reason this isn t 1 star is because the place is cool and clean. It stops there. Some of the worst service I have ever had accompanied by some of the worst food. Place was nearly empty and every person working was on their phone the entire time even the manager. We had to ask for service. Bartender was rarely found behind the bar, more often found laying down in a booth on his phone. Onion rings were insanely greasy which is ok, but then when you get microwaved French fries and chicken tenders there s a problem. Absolutely will never go back.

Pool tables are really nice and smooth, the service is ehh got my order wrong like 3 times but she was nice. The manager fixed the tab. The security is over eccentric and I never had an issue vaping inside before when I came once before. Now that its officially open its over the top, I def recommend the original pockets instead. The drinks are fresher and the staff is friendlier. Security doesnt make you feel like its a personal vendetta.
