Ordered steak fajitas for lunch. The Bad: Admittedly, Im a picky eater, so I asked them not to serve me with the pico, guacamole, sour cream, and rice with the meal. The food came out, and it only had two tortillas. So, I asked for more tortillas, along with a side of shredded cheese and a side of lettuce. I was charged extra for the cheese ($1.79) and tortillas ($.99). More than the costs, its frustrating to be upcharged when they saved money on multiple items I did not receive, only to charge me more at the end without advising me it would be extra. Good: serving size was large (lots of meat), and the taste of the food was decent. Food did not take too long to come out of the kitchen either. Service was good.

I ordered a chicken chimichanga. It was the house special. No bueno!!! It was made with chicken fajita , not with normal shredded chicken. Very dry!!! Asked for more sauce and tortillas. Never came!! Mentioned it to waitress and just blew me off. Had empty water glasses while they stood around talking. There was a total of 8 people in whole restaurant and they still didnt get it right.

Ordered the beef fajitas. The portion of meat was good and I appreciated that the meat was tender without being overly greasy. The meat was also seasoned better than many other places I ve tried and the corn tortillas came soft and hot. The salsa tasted good and the chips were thin and crispy. My only complaint was that the rice and beans side plate was a little small in portion size and came served on a small sides plate instead of a full sized plate. However, I ate early afternoon as my first meal and only meal of the day so obviously the overall meal was filling. The staff were friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was cozy and laid back. The menu prices are competitive and I did not feel overcharged. My son said the chicken in his meal (forget what he ordered) was slightly dry but flavorful. He was overall very satisfied as well. I would have no problem with returning to this establishment again for a late lunch.

We had a big party, and we called ahead of time. The table was ready. Drinks were served. The food was partially brought out in a sufficient amount of time. The rest of the order didnt come until right before we were ready to leave! And those were the childrens orders... Not ok. The place was not crowded at first. There was enough time to get our food all together....

I have not been here for a bit decided to try it out again. Last time I ate in, this time I ordered through the drive- thru. I got the chicken fajita plate #2 seemed like this was someones left over plate the chicken or it was just sitting out I know we are in hard economical times although for someone who works all day & trying to grab something quick mind you the price I paid for the plate/ drink $23 could have done better. Other than that they are an okay place I recommend dinning in.

Listen. Most Mexican place have bland refried beans. This place has the best refried beans I ve ever had. The staff was friendly despite us showing up close to closing time. The meals we excellent. Ive been going here for years. Its one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. Whether you want a nice breakfast burrito or a vegetable omelet to start the day off right, or maybe you want a tasty taco for lunch, they got you covered. Thieves!!!!!!! Do not trust this place!!!This place stole money from my credit card. I used my card for a purchase, then they made another charge for $35.97. I called them yesterday and spoke to Brenda the supervisor. 7/22/23.I explained what happened and she told me that she would check with her technician and call me back to fix the problem. She never called me back. I called this morning (7/23/23)and asked for Brenda and was told that nobody named Brenda works there. The told me they didn t know when a manager would be in and that her name was Jessi. I just called my bank back to dispute the charges. And my bank did some digging, it showed that Sol de Jalisco charged my card as a tip for $35.97!!! This was after they charged my card for my purchase of $13.49!! So you guys are keeping customers card info?? Thieves!!! You should be ashamed of yourselves and whoever Brenda is that lied and tried to cover up the theft is a piece of work!! April 23,2023. My husband and I and our 10 month old went to eat inside. Our sons first time in a restaurant. We was working on a budget and I let the server know what we was working with. This server went out of his way to ask if we wanted chips and salsa and queso. He brought it to the table and our son enjoyed it and made a mess but no one seemed to care. After we was finished we picked up our sons mess and put all the dishes at the end. We went to the counter to pay and the server said that it wasnt needed that he paid for the order. I want to personally Thank the server and the whole restaurant for being so kind and considerate. I would recommend 10/10. Not just the food is delicious but it feels like family when you walk through the door.

Went here for lunch. The resturant was ok looking. I got the burrito. Well its a tortilla with some meat in it with cheese on top. Thats it. The meat inside was grey it was supposed to be fajita meat this meat never saw a grill. It was chewy and very salty. Just salt. It came with beans and rice. The rice was cold and the beans were old. In fact there was a rock inside when I brought it to the attention of staff I was told that this has been happening and I wasnt the first to complain about this. Something to do with the distributor isnt washing them enough. Question one is why arent they washing them? Second question why are they still serving them? Overall it was a disapointing experience and I would save your money and find a better place.

Drive thru takes forever!! I stopped to get my daughter a potato & egg taco before school and we waited at least 15 min. there were no other cars in the drive thru, at this point my baby is crying, so when she finally came to the window to give us the taco, I asked if I could add one tortilla for the baby. Of coarse I had no problem paying for it but then we waited forever again, the lady never came back with the tortilla. I had to leave because my daughter was going to be late to school so I didnt have time to go in and get it. Basically I paid for something I never got and waited forever for just one taco. I go through the line and order 2 breakfast burritos with bean, potato, bacon, and cheese, then 2 drinks. There are no cars in front of us, and none behind. Me and my boyfriend wait 30 minutes in the drive thru for 2 breakfast burritos. Whatever its fine, i get home and both of the burritos are filled with practically nothing but potato. We go through the line again because no one is there, and the lady sticks her BARE hands into both burritos and points to the tiniest ounce of bean thats on both burritos, and the tiniest ounce of meat on both burritos .The lady by the name of Lydia then tries to RETURN the burritos in which her bare hands were in i ask if she could remake them because i was very unhappy with the food, and im not going to eat the food in which her bare hands were just in??? and i had already driven back up there for them to be fixed. You think im going to drive all the way back from my home if i was even somewhat satisfied with the burritos? She explains to me that she can only remake 1 burrito, but not both. This lady already put her bare hand GERMS on both burritos, and is only offering to remake 1? I decline the offer, then ask for a refund and the manager said that they could only give HALF of my money back, or a gift card. The total was $24.64, and the lady hands me $8.50 back? Lydia was very rude and uncooperative, the rest of the staff was sweet.

Go there every week for 8yrs. Great food and service! This is for the one of hwy35 Update: I no longer love this place. Ever since they added the party patio its no longer small family friendly. Constantly loud because people get drunk on the patio then come in the main dinning hall and continue the party. I had to make my dinner to go after yelling my order to the waitress. The staff was all very polite and attentive. I was very unimpressed with the chips. I had wacked nachos but after they gave us the chips and salsa (complimentary ) I changed to a chimichanga. The chimi was able to have fajita beef in it which I appreciated, but that was all the was in it. No veggies or anything, and it fell apart while I tried to eat it. The lemonade was very good, as was the horchata.

Vegetarian options: Any dish can be vegetarian by deleting the meat, there are plenty of existing menu options already Parking: Plenty of parking in the communal parking lot Wheelchair accessibility: The disabled ramp is a tad bit steep, a more gradual ramp would be better. Frame it up and pour concrete over existing ramp to make it more gradual.

Went through drive through and ordered a breakfast burrito. Sign said $5.99 got to window and was charged $7.99 . The employee said oh we havent changed the sign yet . A whole $2.00 difference . $8 for a breakfast burrito is absolutely ridiculous . And to not post it is wrong . Had trouble with this restaurant before over charging my credit card . Consumer beware .

Food was ok. Service was very good. Rice was a little old. Multiple check backs by not just one but two servers. Place stayed busy. Prices were a little high but these days what isn t.

For the first time in I dont know how many years, we had great service. Dont get me wrong, this place is not terrible, but more times than not, we get this one waitress who, for some reason, is always so rude and put out with my husband and myself. She was supposed to wait on us today. I guess she didnt want to so a young male waiter waited on us. What a breath of fresh air he was. He apologized for the wait. (They werent very busy, but like I said, she does not like us and pretty much put us off) He was pleasant, attentive, and hands down the best server weve ever had in this restaurant. Will be back, but only if he is our server.

Update: I still have not gone back in the evenings, but it has become a reliable experience for early mornings Ive tried most of the breakfast menu and have no complaints. My new favorite is the Migas, and it holds up well compared to versions of the same dish I have enjoyed locally (Killeen, Belton, Temple). Ill update the review when I go back for Tex-Mex style cuisine. This rating is based upon my observations during breakfast hours. First and foremost, this is a good option for a quick bite in the morning. I went tried and true with Biscuts & Gravy, adding some Hash browns. Plenty of gravy, soft biscuts, and decent hash browns. Service was great!
