A great hidden Italian gem! The food was incredible, looked and smelled amazing. The atmosphere was super cute. The only confusing part was where to order. The opened kitchen is super cool, but the partial glass had me looking to talk to a cook and I completely missed the cashier. Not a complaint haha just my mind thought the set up was like Chipotle. Loved the food and experience!

Have eaten here multiple times and it has been 10 stars every time. To establish credibility...Born and raised in NY, Italian family, homemade pasta, pizza, etc. (blah, blah, blah). Food is extremely subjective so you will always see poor reviews from people that were raised on crappy Italian food (Olive Garden, Pizza Hut, etc.). This place is amazing...food, service and atmosphere. Everything is prepared fresh at time of order so be prepared to wait a few minutes, its worth it. The sauces are fresh and authentic and served over pasta that is cooked properly. I would eat here every day, if possible. Try it! if you know what good Italian food is, you will love it too.

A cute fast causal restaurant is great for a quick pasta meal. I didnt think that handmade pasta would be any different than pasta out of the package. I was so wrong. This pasta is absolutely delicious. The texture and taste of the handmade pasta are way better than any package pasta I have ever had. TheTonnarelli Alla Gricia was made with pork cheek, pecorino, parmesan, and black pepper. The port cheek was a little bit salty for me. However, the meal was still awesome. I loved it, and I definitely will go here again.

Finally, truly authentic Italian cuisine in DFW. After eighteen years of searching since moving here, I am so happy to have found Miss Pasta. Every dish is true to authentic Italian preparation, and you will have a hard time choosing what to get because it ALL looks amazing. This was the best cacio e pepe Ive ever had outside of Italy. ** This could become your NEW Favorite Italian place! ** From the moment you step inside, your senses are awakened! Casual dining with an elevated ambiance! We ordered both the Tortellini Al Pomodoro and Spaghetti Pomodoro with meatballs ... Each bite was a burst of Italian flavors, served hot, fresh, and incredibly authentic - perfectly cooked pasta... and those meatballs (Mama Mia) tender and delicious! Tortellini is one of my favorites, and THIS ONE takes centerstage... and was delicious! The Sicilian Arancino (Beef Ragu, Mozzarella rice ball) was delightful! I had never had one before, and it did not disappoint (excellent presentation, too)! Everything is homemade and authentic, from pasta, sauces, desserts, and more! Service with a smile and good food for your heart and soul. In a world where good service and great food seem rare, this place is a gem that will keep you coming back for more! They also serve wine! #Bonus. First timer ... now a forever customer!! Let Miss Pasta take you on a Tastebud Vacation straight to Italy! Ciao! Parking: Plenty of parking Kid-friendliness: Family frirndly

Interesting joint doing the American Italian fast casual style. The pasta is the star of the show here obviously and doesnt disappoint, not the best youve ever had but served up fast and blows chains out of the water, make sure to get some focaccia to mop sauce, probably my favorite part. Portion sizes are decent for the price. Clean space and fast and friendly service. Parking: Right next to Texas steakhouse whos running valet right by the entrance, might have to park a little way out and walk in on the weekends.

Casual atmosphere with friendly staff and incredible affordable food. We never go out to eat because its always so expensive and so very disappointing. We were pleasantly blown away by Miss Pasta. Our meals were affordable and delicious! We all finished every last bite and will be back again soon. The pasta is homemade and great. I had a mushroom truffle dish wish was filling but not too rich or heavy. Boyfriend had tortellini and liked it and he is the worlds pickiest eater. My preschooler declared Im going to eat all of this and then get more! while eating his spaghetti by the hand full. What a gem of a restaurant. Not pretentious, very affordable, extremely clean, and incredibly delicious.

We have ordered from here 3 times now. The fried food has such an overpowering oil flavor, like it was cooked at too low of a temp or a low heat oil. The food does not taste fresh. I know the sauces are ones that are slow cooked - they taste heavy, over salted, and reheated. You just want a relief from the heaviness. It just lacks balance. For service - it is fine. Hope you don t want to find a parking spot for pick up on a busy night. That is a small parking lot for that many restaurants & at least they could utilize the circle drive for pick up. We tried to call and cancel our order last time because we couldn t find a spot to run in and pick up. We couldn t & double parked near the hotel (past the other cars doing the same) to grab the food. Thank goodness the cops weren t there this time, last time they were ticketing & we were warned. Over all hard pass. Losing respect for the food critics at this point.

SERVICE FAILURE!! I came in having high hopes of Miss Pasta and I left in complete disbelief of my entire experience. Be Careful what you order! This is not the place to try something new!! Be prepared to buy a new dish if that is the case if you do not like it or just simple kitchen error. They will not replace a dish you don t like. I ordered over $120 worth of food, one of the dishes being the carbonara, and it was like they spilled the jar of pepper in it. It was too peppery and not edible for me. As I am looking more and more at this dish, I notice MULTIPLE HAIRS. The majority of the staff had black hair and my hair is brown. The lead cashier /hostess said I had to buy a different dish if I did not like the food I ordered & refused to acknowledge that there was hair in my pasta. I was shocked. It s my first time coming to this restaurant, and as someone in the industry I am extremely disappointed they were so unwilling to fix this issue. Not only was my pasta completely disgusting and unauthentic, it had hair in it which is a complete sanitary issue. No one was wearing hair nets. I do not recommend this place. I asked them if they have a business card, and all they could give was a to go menu. The cashier/hostess I had been speaking to was rude and clearly had ZERO customer service skills; she was rigid. She wouldn t give her name or what her role was in the restaurant. Whatever she was, she was a poor representative of this establishment. I didn t see that there was an owner or someone of management status during my visit, as I feel the situation would have been handled in a more professional manner if anyone gave a damn. The service and her actions played a major factor in this review, which is very unfortunate.

I really, I mean really wanted to love this place. We love pasta in our family and we looked forward to family night there. The cashier was nice, took our order no problem. It took about 20 minutes for our food, not complaining. Okay, lets talk about a few things... Atmosphere was cute, we enjoyed the art inside the restaurant. The location is in a great area, but the sign from the outside was smaller than expected. I drove by it and missed it. Wait time- I mentioned waiting for 20 minutes. We were the only customers in the restaurant. Granted, it was Tuesday night, but I cant imagine how long the wait would be on a busy night. Pricing- The pricing was average. Most places nowadays charge between $13-18 per entree. Portions- Meals come in a round to go container, makes it super convenient to take with you when youre done. Lids are set up by the water for you to take. Food- I ordered the special. It was a clams with linguine noodles. It was just ok. The noodles werent cooked enough and it was a little too salty. My youngest ordered the lasagna, she enjoyed hers. My other 2 ordered the Spaghetti Alla Puttanesca. They both complained that it was salty also. It was very disappointing. Overall opinion, I think this restaurant still has a chance. I think less salt in the food and the noodles need a little more tending. I also wanted to mention that they have wine only, but no pinot or pinot noir. Maybe that will change in the future.

First time here. Got some to-go food and the kind lady behind the register recommended the vodka pasta and steak & spaghetti special. Food was fantastic! Loved the food and service. Price was on par for what you expect for quick-food (not fast food), but the portions were very big. I would suggest getting a taste of the menu, but ultimately you can share a dish. The meatballs were very good, meaty, and big. Tasted homemade and the sauce was excellent. I tried the fried pasta thing (#1 on the appetizer section) and that was pretty interesting. When you re eating a bunch of pasta and sauces, the crispiness of the fried pasta was a good texture change. The salad on the appetizer menu was excellent! The balsamic dressing they had was tart and sweet. Overall would recommend to anyone and will definitely be eating here again!

My partner and I have eaten here twice now and the food was delicious each time. I had the spaghetti ala puttanesca which sounds like a slur but is actually the name of an achovy pasta dish which is incredible if you love assertive flavors. My partner had a tortellini ala carbonara which was insanely creamy and rich for a relatively simple dish. We also really enjoyed the rice ball, both the Roman and Italian style. Its awesome they they make their own fresh pasta and season everything well. For the most part. My only negative is that the gnocchi dishes we had during our 2nd visit were desperately missing salt, but thats okay because everything else was very yummy and I wish I could eat here every day. P.S. Forgot to say that the service is excellent and the dining room has a cozy vibe

Update 4/23/24 - Upping from 4 to 5 stars. Ive been back a few times, and if you like pasta, you should really check this place out. The first time I visited, right after opening, I was not impressed with the portions. But the portions are good now. I actually find it a challenge to finish my entire meal. And the atmosphere is mellow and nice. I really hope they succeed. The location is not the best, as they are a bit hidden away. Maybe they could put up some more lights or something. But they seem to be doing OK. If you dont mind a little spice, not very hot but a little bit, then I recommend the Miss Pasta dish. Ive tried others, and they are good, but that is my favorite so far. I will give this place 4 stars based on the quality of the food, which is 5 stars, but I doubt this restaurant will be open for long if they dont change some things. The location is bad, hidden away as it is, and they cant change that. So the only way to be successful is to do enough marketing to bring traffic in, and then provide a product and an experience that will bring people back. For what they are worth, here are my suggestions. The music was loud when I went in, which makes no sense. The prices should be reduced by 2-3 dollars per entree. The portions sizes (at least for the torteli I had) should be increased 30 to 50%. I had to have a snack after my meal. The staff should be kept to a minimum for the traffic expected. The checkout should be friendly and not feel like you are forced to tip. If the tip process is kept the same, make the first option 10%. This is fast casual, not a sit down restaurant. Go into a nearby restaurant, say Piada. A similar service experience but without feeling forced to tip. The place looks a little dark from outside during the day, maybe put some lights in the windows so that people driving thru the parking lot can see that there is something open there. And then, once you have the details ironed out, advertise like crazy. The nearby apartments and City Line should be the first targets. Something like a 50% off your first meal to drive traffic, and if the experience is good enough, and the price and portions right, they will come back. Any restaurant in that location is going to have a tough time getting going. The product itself is high-quality, so if people see the value and desire it, they will remember the location and come back. Personally, I would think a wood fired stove pizza restaurant would do better. Maybe that served beer and had a lot of business from Uber eats and such. But perhaps the pasta concept will work. The food quality is good at least.

The moment I walked in, I was greeted by very friendly staff. I mentioned I had never been before and they were very helpful. I got my food to go. The fried appetizer was still nice and crispy by the time I got home. The food was delicious! Portions were larger than I expected as well. I shared some of the gnocchi with my dad and still have enough left over for lunch tomorrow. I am definitely making this a new spot for when I want to treat myself a bit!

I cried. I wept eating this pasta the fist time. This is truly a special restaurant. The chef is wildly experienced with high level cuisine a the brings that to Richardson for less than $20 a plate! Everything is fresh and the recipes come straight from the chefs home, Tuscany. This is the closest you will get to eating dinner in Italy this side of the Atlantic. The inside is just adorable and warm and welcoming. One of the highlights is seeing the head chef, right there, on the cook line making my dinner. Its so reassuring. And his lovely wife Titsiana is truly a national Treasure! She works the register and delivers most of my meals and she is just warm and kind and always joyous to see me. I love coming here. Talk about when youre here your family. I try a different dish most visits and each one is. better than the last. I love the monthly special he provides here because the menu never gets dull. They offer a small selection of wine, straight from Tuscany and only one dessert. Want to know why? Because it is the absolute best dessert youll ever have. Its soft and buttery and not too sweet and light and airy. Im telling you, this food is like your great grandma is making your dinner. You can taste the love in every bite. I recommend friends family and even strangers to try this place and I suggest you do the same, thank me later!

First time going to Miss Pasta and It was a nice experience. As soon as I walked in. I was greeted by several people. very friendly. I got the Lasagna one and it was good. It would have been better as well, if a side item came with it within that price. I must say, if I am close one day to the area. I might just stop back in to try something else. They have a good selection of items.

I had higher expectations for this restaurant but it ended up being a complete disappointment. The pasta was too tough and chewy but even worse it was extremely salty. So salty, in fact, that I couldn t finish my pasta. $50 for two people for overly salted pasta. No, thank you. On another note, complete swing and a miss on the decor. The owner clearly could not make up their mind on what kind of restaurant this should be.

My absolute favorite is the #12 - Miss Pasta s namesake. The #19 is a very close second. I m not a fan of tiramisu typically, but I could barely find it in me to share the container. Nice fresh pasta, but drink selection was very limited and prices were high for the level of restaurant. Service was friendly, but this is not a full service restaurant (its essentially fast food style service - theyll bring your food to your table when its ready, but drinks are self-serve and you are responsible to bus your trash/dishes.)

Delicious! I invited a friend, and she ordered several dishes to take home. The Dallas Morning News article peaked her interest after I had told her about Miss Pasta. I thought the #2 Polpette was the best meatball recipe I ve ever eaten. The #19 Tortelli Burro e Salvia was perfection for those that prefer a dish without tomato sauce. There s a finesse to the dishes that makes you feel good after every bite. The owners are lovely and so is everything about their restaurant! It s clean and fresh, with brilliant touches such as a separate granite sink with a mirror to wash your hands without having to enter the restroom but still separate from the dining area. They do offer real silverware if you prefer to dine in. I think it s great that they serve the food in the to go containers. Easy clean up and most people take a portion of their food home anyways. We will definitely be ordering from here again!

Miss Pasta is a very unique experience. The food was good, not great. My pasta was slightly unevenly cooked. Some bites were perfect and part of the same noodle melted with very little pressure. My expectation was a good chewy noodle. The pricing is very high for the portion that you get. And its confusing that they serve this high quality pasta and sauce and expect you enjoy enjoy it that was made with care. They serve it in a bowl like you would get takeaway at Chipotle. The experience made me feel very rushed.

Finally!! An Italian restaurant owned by REAL Italians! You can taste the difference in their absolutely delicious food. I have traveled extensively in Italy and this food is on par with fine restaurants in Rome, Milan or Florence ... something very hard to find in Dallas! Large portions of their fresh house made pasta so big I brought home half to enjoy for lunch tomorrow. It was served in a paper bowl that made it so easy to take home. They provided a lid for me to use. My husband got #10 the Bolognase and I had them specially prepare the gnocchi with white burro and parmigiano sauce. I am telling you it was soooo good! I am Italian and this yummy food is the real deal. Makes me want to jump on a plane tomorrow to head back! The tiramisu was fabulous! Served in a cute glass container and perfect to top off a delicious meal. The customer service was top notch with the lovely owner taking our order and offering excellent suggestions. Very nice wine list and also select specialty beers. I cannot wait to try more items on the menu. The location is a little hard to find so look for it behind Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea and next to Texas Steakhouse. We will be back soon!

Miss Pasta tastes like the pasta I ate in Italy! My friends and I recently traveled to Italy, and we loved the food. When I read about Miss Pasta, I had high expectations. Im happy to say I was very pleased and already planning my next visit. We went to lunch and were the first ones there. We waited no more than 10 minutes for our food. (Ill happily wait a bit for freshly cooked, delicious food!) The portions were a great size; not small at all. We got #17 and #24. Music was playing at a good volume. I agree with some other reviews that a drink fountain machine would be a nice/normal addition. They had self-serve tap water without ice available for free. I want Miss Pasta to be successful! I encourage them to advertise. I only knew about this place because I drove by it, saw the sign, and looked it up. I knew it had opened only because I chose to follow them on Instagram. You enter on the side of the brick building, feeling it s a secret trattoria you just happened upon. The entrance doesn t face a parking lot or the frontage road to the busy Bush Tollway, but instead, the view from within looking out is the gorgeous patio of the upscale restaurant next door. Brilliant! Miss Pasta s interior, despite the unappealing counter ordering, is very warmly inviting. A magnificent picture sets a sweet tone and tables fill the windowed space. Lucky for W and me, there s a long bar option which we always prefer, and here we can watch the chef prepare dishes. He does so in a modern-esque very small space designed for efficiency, and functions so quietly. That was the chef s plan; six induction burners put out finished dishes with amazing speed. Brilliant! The restaurant s menu concept pays homage to Italian tradition, and pays it to such an extent that I think for many diners, it needs explaining. Pasta in Italy is considered a first course, as is soup, risotto, and more. Primi Piatti! A few dishes incorporate meat or seafood within the sauce, stuffed pasta, or rice, but that s it. The Secondo, or second course, is a protein served with a side vegetable never, ever, is pasta degraded as a side dish to this course. At Miss Pasta there s such authentic attention given to cooking pasta as served in Italy, not as found on American menus. Brava! It is truly a regional menu, so diverse with dishes from the country s southernmost to northernmost. Sitting there sipping wine and trying to choose, I realized W really does hear me when I rant. She summed up their regional offerings as from the heel to the veal . Exactly, Sweets! The two options we settled on to share were both delicious. They brought me watery eyes with the first bite; so much flavor perfected in such simplicity. Although W was forgiven for forgetting to order with the fried eggs, the very fact that Spaghetti Aglio e Olio (garlic, olive oil, chili peppers, breadcrumbs) offers eggs atop thrilled me! We often eat it that way when I cook but we never see it on any menus. Spaghetti alla Puttanesca was bursting with flavor also from minimal ingredients: cherry tomato sauce, olives, anchovies, capers, oregano, garlic. The pastas are just so good that you forget you re eating from a paper bowl, sturdy as it is. Another touch of brilliance considering any or all upscale additions table wear, table servers, additional cleanup, would only increase costs for the establishment and its customers. This way the restaurant serves the quality of a finer dining experience while supporting a strong casual dining or carry-out status. Still, I m sure Miss Pasta will hear complaints. During our dinner, we observed a customer say her goodbyes but scurry back in to comment to the owners that they should have a bigger sign. Are there things I would prefer? Of course, but a bigger sign wouldn t be one. Finer pasta strands such as linguine, fini linguine, and capellini would be, for they are simply personal favorites. And I very much prefer dried pasta for certain dishes like Aglio e Olio regardless of how excellent the fresh version may be. And these are! I really, really wish for a half-priced-wine-bottles-day, which is a factor that keeps W and I returning most often to our special haunts which do. The restaurant has limited beverage offerings, and only bottled water for purchase which probably won t settle well with a huge majority of diners. Didn t with us. To pay $38 for a bottle of wine with no free table water, is a bit hard to swallow. But W and I will be returning, probably soon followed by often and morphed into regularly. Miss Pasta feels familiar in so many ways and I ve missed this feeling. Missed it terribly. Ancora!

The food is wonderful. My wife and I were in the Air Force and stationed in Italy for 4 years, and this food is on the spot.

We had dinner here tonight. The fresh pasta itself was excellent, and the food is the main selling point. Unfortunately, for a fast, casual place, it took 15-20 from when we ordered until they brought our food over. They just opened, though, so hopefully, they are just working through issues.

Food was really great and I hope this place sticks around! Some feedback 1) prices are far too high for portion size, I was not full at the end of my meal 2) took almost 40 min to get our food after ordering. That s far too long of a wait 3) need a drink fountain or something. There s no option for refillable drinks, you can only get bottled water/canned soda, etc so if you run out of drink you have to go buy another 4) there was no music on so it was an awkward silence in the dining area 5) the standard tip percentages are far too high on the checkout system. Not a full service restaurant so should not expect 15-25% tips

I am from Italy, this is very authentic pasta. Big portions, and very nice Italian chef. I would recommend to anyone who wants to try real authentic imported pasta!
