Really fun theater. We liked that an employee dressed up for Beetlejuice. I was excited to take my picture with all the fun props that I was told Delia (pictured) made. Really cool. You can tell how much time and dedication she put in- you dont find that these days. It was appreciated

We ordered the loaded fries and fried pickles appetizers, and they were okay. Recliners were not bad, but I wish they were a little wider. My leg kept hitting the switches that made it recline during the entire movie. That was getting irritating. Then, our call button didnt work, so we could never get the wait staffs attention. Our waitress was great in the beginning with our initial order but wasnt able to get any more snacks or refills after that due to call button not working.

No complaints. Food isnt Michelin star quality but is decently tasty and hot. Being able to order the food ahead of time really helps quell anxiety of trying new things. Wasnt paying that much attention but place looked pretty clean and has a cool atmosphere. Staff was friendly and polite. Actually the only complaint I have is the price, but since this is more of a luxury kind of thing compared to a regular theater Im willing to let that slide. For two people, the tickets were around 30 bucks, in total the food was around 50 for two Chef Starters and a burger. I aint paying 8 dollars for a soda though youre out of your mind. I recommend the Loaded Fries and Fried Pickles. One last thing for whoever is reading this, the movies STARTS at the time its scheduled, its not when they start playing previews. If your movie starts at 4:00 its starting AT 4:00. Thank you to my darling sister for making us miss the first 10 minutes of Coraline. >:|

This is a nice, spacious theater, with reclining seats. I downgraded my star rating due to the poor in-theater sevice I received from a female server. When I received my food order during the movie, I asked the young lady if I could have a fork. When she went to get me a fork, I did not see the side of dressing that I paid for, so asked if I could have my dressing for my salad. She stood over me and sighed at me in frustration. I told her I was sorry that I was bothering her. I get that people have bad days, but gosh.

READ THIS REVIEW!! My family and I went here to see Inside Out. The level of customer service was top tier. The. Young woman at the counter that helped us purchase tickets was very fun to speak with and polite. I had even forgotten my phone on the counter and she made sure I got it back! The theater was clean and smelled good. Seats were clean and very comfortable but they did not have the warming feature. Sound was perfect and screen was super clear.

Service is very slow , it took 30 mn for cold popcorn and bottled water. Server does not follow up and you have no way of requesting server. You have to get up and go to serving area just to be told they do not have butter for popcorn. Regret leaving 20% tip. Back in the days it was good you had a call light for server.

I dont even know where to begin but it was definitely a really bad experience tonight. Waited for 3 weeks to see Abigail, so I got tickets and then went to the bar to order the super combo and a hot dog. The problem is, people who walk over there to order instead of getting in line, which management can solve by putting up something very visible to let other people know where the line starts, will gather around the bar confusing the lone bartender working. Tonight the girl Hope had so much trouble and it took 20 minutes for her to finally get to me only for her to have trouble with my order. When I get to our seats theres three gentlemen sitting in our seats. Normally I would say something but not when its three giant gang members versus me. The movie had already started and I missed about 5 minutes of it and I was so aggravated I just didnt want to deal with having to go get the manager and have possibly the police come out because these guys were so intimidating. Needless to say our order went to the wrong seats and even then, these gentlemen instead of getting up and switching with us they just said oh it must be those people over there. Im seriously considering just going to Cinemark and seeing if I can avoid the problems I had tonight.

Well that was the worst experience I have had a movie theater in a long time. The new bag policy is ridiculous and I was harassed by the rent a cop muliple times as I was trying to ask for the manager because I said you can look in my purse if needed. I also asked when they wouldnt do that if they would hold my bag in the back so I didnt have to leave it in my car to be stolen. The customer service was also rude and not accommodating or even nice. This was the beginning of what continued throughout the experience. $50 later I will not be back. The server was nice but asked myself the two people I was with if we wanted this choice or that choice that came with our orders and then upcharged them. We got popcorn, didnt ask for butter or extra butter and then were charged a butter fee. What the heck is that? Done with movie taverns and Marquis owned.

This place is a Gem!!! Never thought Bedford had a movie theater like this. The place is awesome for dates and drinks. They have a full service bar, downside is that they dont carry coke products (no jack & coke). They also have a variety of food options besides the usual theater stuff (popcorn, candy and slushies). The reward program is fair (1point/$ spent). Tuesday ticket prices are great, they are discounted. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely will be my go to theater now!!

We used to come here often before Covid and really enjoyed it. The theaters are big and clean, and the lounge chairs are the best around. Im not sure what happened, but there are very few employees now. Only one person at the ticket desk and one other who was cleaning up after the show. There are no servers, so if you want food or drinks, it has to be ordered online prior to the show. Im not saying that this is a bad thing or will stop us from coming again, it was just a surprise. The rest of the experience was well worth it, and well visit again.

This theater was one of my favorites! I love the smaller theater, comfortable seats that recline, and a fabulous atmosphere. It feels like family. The bar is cozy and fun, and the beautiful older woman at the box office was charming and full of good information. They even have fresh ice water and cups near each theater. Watched The Color Purple 11:00am showing. First time to this theater. Had the whole theater to myself. Liked the VIP feeling. Restroom was clean. Senior old lady was only one working the Box Office. She seem thin skinned, as acted rattled like I was rushing her. Lol This mom-pop theater chain location in Bedford showing its age, and for the most part, dead as a door knob. Needs major remodeling. Went out for a movie on Christmas Day, Wonka. The movie was enjoyable, and I dig the comfortable power reclining seats. That said, at nearly $10.30 for a ticket, I wont be able to make a habit of this. And then there is the concessions. Nearly $8 for a giant cherry Pepsi, and about the same price for a junior popcorn, WITHOUT butter. Furthermore, it was delivered to my seat at room temperature, and not very good. I wasnt very impressed with the Pepsi either. If youre going to gouge your customers on your food and drink after high ticket prices, can you at least employ some quality control, please? Regardless, how about more reasonable pricing on the food? Or is the CEO only concerned about the size of his bonus?

Theatre is good but when you charge $17 for alcoholic beverages, please make it worth the money. It was more ice and diluted than any high expensive restaurant I have been in the dallas. Later I ordered food. I always order the wings. They down size the wings and it tasted like it was reheated from cheap frozen wings. Same applies to there new burgers. The taste was awful . The associate working there tried to help and explain. He was super nice but $19.99 for wings that tasted worst than the frozen Costco wings. I spend $74.56 for dinner for 2 while watching movie. No more I will eat here. This used to be the best dine in theatre but they have downgraded the food, its size and big time on taste for sure. Not any more I will be eating here

The movie theater itself was great. My only complaint is the employees need to pay more attention to who s coming into their theater. Especially while intoxicated. And I don t mean a little buzzed. I mean falling out of your seat intoxicated. The entire movie this group talked very loudly, laughed so loud, I m sure other people in the theater heard and thought we were watching a comedy. We were watching the exorcist. These people randomly sat w our group, we did not know them, nor did they originally buy those seats, they started making conversation w someone in our group and just took it upon themselves to sit w us. At first it wasn t an issue until the movie came on and they were obnoxious, rude, and making very uncomfortable comments throughout the movie. One guy in their group was so drunk he got lost in the theater trying to go to the bathroom, came back and then proceeded to fall completely out of his seat. By the time the movie was over he was passed out in his seat and his group left him. Yes, something was said to the manager and she came in and told them to be quiet. It seemed like she knew them bc she came in quite a few times to speak w them. Overall the theater is clean and great, but the environment was very sketchy.

Went and watch the Canelo vs Charlo fight at this location. I cant say nothing but nice things even with the changes from no wait staff. The staff I did encounter was very friendly. My food was was bought to my seat and it was hot and good. No complaints not to mention the young man with the dreds (sorry should have gotten his name) who brought it out was very polite. Great experience I hope they telavise more sporting events this definitely a great way to watch them.

I live on the other side of town but always come here because it is so nice. The employees are amazing and the way they take care of the theater and clean up is phenomenal. The food is great and the variety of mixed drinks makes it fun to try something new everytime I go! Plus they have the electric powered recliners that are top notch and super comfy!!!! Drink holders on each side of the recliner and a little table for your food. They are also handicap accessible!!

Though they no longer have servers, the only way to bring them back is to go to the movies, folks, and there is no better theater in town than this Movie Tavern. Good food, friendly and unforgettable staff, ice cold beer and any mixed drink to can think of, plus sodas and water for those who cant or dont drink. If you see Linda, let her know I said hello! Even if youre on a tight budget, water is always free and if you just cant see a movie without popcorn, the small popcorn on the menu is a very generous amount for a very reasonable price, so help keep the Tavern alive and go watch a movie!

Movie Tavern, more like Dirty Tavern. From the grimy theater and seats to the overpriced snacks and a bathroom that could clear a room, it was a total ew experience. If youre into that whole filthy chic vibe, this place might be your jam. But if you prefer cleanliness and reasonable prices, better look elsewhere.
