I couldnt have hired better lawyers than Ed Cox and Tate Roush. They were so effective and professional as well as caring about people and their families. They helped me every step of the way to get my 77 year old Uncle the parole he so desperately needed and deserved. Not only did they help him get parole, they also helped him get a walker and get moved from a moldy cell with no running water. My, where do I begin? Tate and the rest of the team did not leave our side one bit throughout the entire process. We started this journey two years ago and both years we were granted the privilege of parole. Any questions however small they may have seemed to anybody else they were sure to answer with the utmost care and respect a lawyer/friend could provide. WANT TO SHARE MY STORY... This is from ME, the accused, the sentenced , the Convicted Felon, and the Man who was awarded his 1st parole attempt after only 5 months in TDC. I was arrested in May 2020, after 16-17 months on bond I found out Prison was inevitable. I made a decision to interview Parole Attorneys , after 4 different attempts, I found that the ED COX LAW FIRM was the BEST fit for me, especially through all the interviews with Mr. Tate Roush . He and I worked on my Parole package months prior to turning my self into TDC, anything that happened to me was foreseen by Tate. Overall I would highly recommend this firm and specifically Tate Roush, very professional, very caring, very detail oriented , affordable, and wonderful communication. Below I will share my recap of our success with Tate and the Ed Cox law firm. My family and I called around and talked to countless attorneys to represent my father for his parole hearing, most of those we contacted I spoke to some lady in the front office that seemed like they were reading off a script. Cox Law Firm was different, I spoke directly to Tate Roush, and I immediately knew he was the real deal, he talked to me in depth about the process of the whole ordeal, and gathered relevant information from me, most of all he told me off the bat what we needed to be successful. MOst surprisingly, I could tell Tate really cared, when I spoke with him ongoing during the process he remembered everything about the case, including family members names, etc. When it came down to wire on the hearing date there was something the voters wanted in addition to what we provided, Tate and Ed were both all over and prepared a very thorough document to provide the parole board within hours.

When I was faced with needing a parole attorney, I took the time to do my homework and interview several attorneys. Edward Cox performed a free conciliation for us and gave us great insight on our legal rights as a construction company. It s unorthodox for an attorney to suggest small claims court at the expense of him losing our business. He continued giving us crucial knowledge for ten minutes after the suggestion. I would say this company and Tate Roush is the best. This man went so above and beyond for us to make sure my son made parole he has given us the resources to get in touch with when he does get out. Now I am not saying he can get someone parole first time every situation is different. JD didn t make his first parol and Mr.Roush had said it was gonna be xx amount of dollars if we wanted him to represent my son again. We just couldn t do it again so Mr. Roush called me and said we changed our policy we will represent JD again at no cost WOW!!! Who does that? Called to inquire if they deal with residential construction defect litigation. Spoke with Mr. Cox for about 3 minutes before he cut me off because he had to let the plumber in. He said he would call me back in 15 minutes, never returned my call.

I just inquired to see if this law office could assist in suing roommate for back rent. And, they stated it would be $350 to just speak with someone. I just wanted that questioned answered for the moment. This guy hung up in my face. I received a reply. It is untrue. I do not yell at people. I am courteous. I yelled at no one. If I yelled play the recording. The man I spoke to was disrespectful and hung up in my face when I stated that $350 was high to just ask a question. Instead, he could have made a response that it all was a misunderstanding. I gave my opinion on this review of my encounter with this law firm. Once again, I do not recommend them.
