Excellent customer service and we will be staying there again next time we visit Dallas. Big ups to Ms. Gabby, Ms. Better, Maintenance man Cary and all the staff at this location. Yall rock!! Rooms: Very clean and the housekeepers are the best. Nearby activities: Aquarium, Fÿrapevine, AT&T Stadium, DFW Airport Safety: Very safe and convenient area with access to the highways. Walkability: Restaurants, Walgreens, Walmart and gas stations in walking distance. Food and drinks: Great breakfast setup and their own little soda/ snack area. Noteworthy details: Cleanliness, excellent hospitality and very convenient to nice sight areas/activities.

Our room was dirty, with a sticky substance on the bedspread, a wet floor and several human hairs visible in the bathtub. This was despite a card left in the room saying that it had been cleaned by ____. There was no trash can in the room. The wi-fi signal did not reach our room. When I took my laptop out to the lobby it was able to connect, but the signal was too weak to use when I returned to the room. When I complained, they gave me a new room that was cleaner, but still had a pretty weak wi-fi signal. The air conditioner is loud and it seems to stay the same temperature no matter what you set it to. There was a homeless woman loitering in the lobby all morning. The police came and ejected her. An hour later she was back. Since there are a bunch of glowing reviews at the top of this thread, but if you dig deeper you can find lots of reviews like this one, I suspect the business is somehow getting fake reviews written to manipulate its rating. Beware. Rooms: The rooms look OK, but arent so clean.

I absolutely love this hotel. The staff is great. The front desk agent lebrette was awesome and accommodating. Always friendly and extremely helpful and kind. The breakfast is good and there s always fresh coffee. I love that they are pet friendly and have an indoor heated pool and hot tub. Clean rooms and they use Dove products and I love the tiny dove soap

Outstanding Customer service. From check in to check out. The front desk crew is fantastic. Jane checked me in. She was very pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable. Rooms and all of hotel very clean. I will be staying here again whenever working in the area. Reliable shuttle service. Bonus is the Saltgrass Steakhouse adjacent to the hotel. There are many dining venues close by as well.

Just got into DFW tonight and called the hotel for the shuttle, quick and easy. The shuttle driver was excellent and very helpful and friendly, informed us of food and water at La Quinta which we got. Front desk service was very friendly and quick, and gave us the good information for breakfast tomorrow. I ll be sleeping great tonight!

Update for this review. I did not mistake this hotel for another..I was a guest .We came in as a family there for the reservation was not in my name ..This was our experience during our stay... Stayed here for a staycation before my kids went back to school.Picked this location for indoor pool.Pool water was milky could not see the floor of pool.Saw employees working in tank top and exercise shorts..Not very professional..Positive front desk employee was under the influence of some sort substance. Breakfast was 1 star at best..Would not recommend .

WORST PLACE to stay. We did the park, sleep, and eat for a trip to Kentucky. The front lobby was a mess and our room had a smell im sure from the dogs that have peed in the room. I will never stay at a pet friendly hotel again. The air went out at 8pm. A guy came to reset it. 1030pm its 90 degrees. They moved us to another room and it was very cool. They charged me for 2 rooms so i have to wait a for the credit to my debit card. The breakfast was subpar with not very much there. The shuttle to the airport was ok but the return shuttle a week later left us outside the airport in 100 degrees for 1.5 hours. I called 5 times to the hotel and they said each time they were on the way. A shuttle finally came and the driver was not even the shuttle driver. The shuttle van had no space for luggage at all and we had to load all our suitcases on the front bench seat and then sit in back. The hotel is a 1 star at best and needs updating and organization.

Recommended hotel, we felt very comfortable there. After arriving at the airport, we spent 2 nights there to acclimatize and see Dallas. It was perfect. We had a quiet room, very clean and large. Breakfast pleasant and tasty. We were traveling with 2 children aged 9 and it was perfect. Swimming pool and whirlpool also used. All clean! Nearby activities: Visited Dallas Gallery Shopping Center. Free parking at the hotel, everything is easy to reach from there! Food and drinks: Good breakfast, pleasant room and lobby.

The booking was made for 3 people (my 2 children and I) and they gave me only 1 King bed without even an armchair. The 3 of us had to sleep in the same bed. I asked them to please change it and they said that everything was full and booked and they couldnt do anything until the next day, which is when I was leaving. This is our go to hotel when were headed out on the town in Ft. Worth. The staff is always welcoming and friendly, the rooms are clean (even if they are in need of some minor updates and repairs) and its close by to plenty of places to go out! Kathy, our regular shuttle driver is always so great!!!

Recently my family found ourselves without a permanent home and with our little dogs we heard about this location and we have lived here about 2 months and the staff has been great. The manager helped us with a weekly rate and was always on site to be sure things were running smoothly.

Stayed there overnight to catch shuttle to airport for a early flight. Shuttle that morning was on time and got us to airport quick and easy. Coming home waiting at airport was a different story. Called hotel they said they will send a shuttle bus (was told 20 mins) 2 hrs later and 3 calls they finally showed up. Rooms were ok and comfortable beds.

worst stay, found roach in bathroom, bathtub was cracked/chipped, shower head was loose, cracks in tile and grout, avoid staying at this hotel, only good thing was breakfast, might as well pay extra and stay in a better place, was gonna stay 4 nights, i checked out in 1 night , - forgot to mention, from the vents in bathroom i was able to smell marijuana/weed from person who booked the room above me. 10 just for customer service, We had a bad experience from Homewood suites in plano tx, which led to the front desk clerk calling the cops within 15 minutes of my arrival. After leaving there, we went to LaQuinta in Arlington, Tx, for the rest of that time until check out and then came to this location for our other 2 nights. This location showed us what true customer service is about. They werent aware of what happened, so I knew this was a genuine service to give all customers. Theyre also genuine to each other. Thanks, LaQuinta, for hiring such an amazing staff. Front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and shuttle services all made us feel like we fitted right in.

Got the Grand Suite with the name your price tool. My wife was not surprised, but impressed with the price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms: The room was bigger than some of the airbnb houses I have seen. Food and drinks: The breakfast is just short of a small restaurant. Sausage, Eggs, Biscuits and Gravy, Bagels and Waffles. First I would like to say how wonderful the staff was at this hotel during our check in. The two star rating is for the hotel property itself and not the staff. They could have not been more kind and understanding for the problems we had with our room. This hotel is old and shop worn for sure. I used to stay in this same hotel 20 years ago with my airline. It is clean but just seen better days. We booked the suite with separate bedroom. Very roomy but the age was showing. Both air conditioning systems were not working and it was so hot and stuffy. No way to sleep well with those conditions. Called front desk and staff came right up to look at AC but no way they could fix that mess. They just blew warm air that was in the room around. We called down to front desk to leave and go to the brand new hotel like it down the street. They were very understanding and just charged us for one night instead of four. I believe the front desk lady s was named Jean. She was so nice. There is another LaQuinta about 3.5 miles from this hotel and it is beautiful. I would recommend going to this location instead. Room was great for the price. It is a property that is a bit more on the used side. However, in my opinion its the little things that count. Staff was friendly. Didnt hear anything crazy going on (even on new years eve). Breakfast was better than most...AND they gave me a late checkout at no extra charge! I would definitely stay here again. I do think that when booking online it should be made clear they do ask for a deposit for the room. The manager April was amazing for all her help with getting my deposit back to my card asap!

I haven t even checked in and I can tell you this has been one of the worst experiences I ve ever had! Because of a delay I had to stay the night. I had a choice of hotels, and picked this one because it was close to the airport and I just wanted to get a good nights sleep and get out of the cold. My flight landed at 9:10 pm, I got my bags and went downstairs to the area to be picked up by the shuttle. 2 hours and 10 minutes along with several phone calls later I was picked up. I am now driving around with a packed shuttle driver looking for a passenger. It is now 10 min in the shuttle and we are sitting at arrivals waiting for someone. The next issue I have is, I was at the airport in New York at 1:00 pm after a few delays I was rerouted to DFW, I got a voucher for food, but come to find out the hotel doesn t have a restaurant. But I can get a free breakfast in the morning. If I knew that I would have used the voucher before calling the shuttle. So now I m going on a full day no food, 2+ hours waiting for a shuttle in the cold, and all I get is the shuttle driver calling me and the other 5 people in the van cranky! It is now 11:57 pm and we are finally going to the hotel. I Can t wait to see what I get at the hotel, I may continue this review. I will definitely contact La Quinta corporate when I get home. I would like to say check in was better, but I can t. I checked in asked what time checkout was because I have a 3:30 pm flight, and I was told it was 11:00 am, so a 2 hour window before I go to the airport, I was told I can just go early. Customer service is obviously not an issue here. The room was ok, but it has the loudest heater, I won t be using that and expect a good night rest. A very weak response below, but I really didn t expect much more.

A decent hotel for one night. Only slept for about 3 hours because of airline shenanigans but I definitely appreciated the brief respite. Don t expect any 5 star accommodations and you ll be fine. Room wasn t as cool as I would ve liked it and there was some noise from the hall but otherwise it was adequate. Plus it s only 10-15 minutes from DFW so the location is great. Free airport shuttle as well that leaves on the top of the hour.

The airline gave me a free room here because my flight was delayed 13 hours until the next morning. I was hesitant to stay here due to the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. Love this hotel and hospitality! Everything was clean and convenient. There is a steakhouse next door as well as a burger spot and gas station (QT) that is 24 hours. Staff were very friendly and the pool is indoors so, My kids loved it. They also have a full breakfast buffet in the mornings which is amazing. Room was clean and up to date. I recently had an extremely frustrating experience at the La Quinta hotel. The front desk staff were unprofessional and inattentive, which significantly impacted our travel plans. Over 8 people, was left waiting for more than an hour for the promised airport shuttle service. Despite our inquiries and concerns, the staff misleadingly informed us that the shuttle was busy dropping off other guests, leaving us stranded and anxious. The lack of communication and responsibility from the hotel staff was unacceptable. Their nonchalant attitude towards our situation not only caused inconvenience but also heightened the risk of missing our flights. Its disheartening to encounter such poor service, especially when one expects reliability and professionalism from a reputable hotel chain. I strongly advise against staying at this La Quinta location if you value timely and respectful service. The ordeal we faced was not only exasperating but also had the potential to disrupt our travel plans significantly. Avoid this hotel to prevent a tiring and stressful experience for the trip.

Our flight was canceled and our airline gave us a hotel voucher for La Quinta. We were not happy about this to say the least, but we were pleasantly surprised by an amazingly competent staff, our shuttle driver, and a really clean and well maintained hotel and room. We need to note that Jane at the front desk was juggling waves of 10 to 20 guests at a time and was not only kind, competent, and efficient, but took complete charge of the situation and made sure all guests (even non-native language speakers) had transportation arrangements at the best times and knew where and when to get food. If the Landlord Special was a hotel When we walked into the room it still had a pungent fresh paint smell. It seemed like they tried to beautify something that should have been completely redone. The paint job wasn t done professionally and it shows. They covered AC units in paint and pained AROUND the ceiling fixtures and over the door strike plate, which made the door difficult to open. Also, all of the furniture is really old and beat up and possibly moldy. Bathroom has no exhaust fan and you can t open the windows here, so I m sure the mold can grow really well in these conditions. Speaking of the bathroom one of the doors is simply broken and you can t open it from the inside. And the floor had splashes all over, not sure if that was from the paint or else. Our sheets looked clean on the inside, but the top sheets had brown stains. And the alarm clock is rusty. I think this room had major mold issues that they tried to cover up with paint. We picked La Quinta because we ve never had a bad experience here and last night was disappointing. We arrived late after a 13 hour flight, so we just didn t care about the room. If it was under any other circumstances, we would have asked for a refund.

We never had hot water from that we would have our full night refunded. Was told by multiple staff members on two different days that our night would be refunded. Once we made it back to our own state, they change their story, only gave half of the money back. The property manager said that she did not believe me that I was told that I would be refunded a full night told me that she would need to watch the video camera And that, even if it showed that the woman told me, I would be refunded my full night that she still would not give it to me. I give this location, a thumbs down. Customer service is poor.

The staff were all very kind. A lot of hotels have a musty smell, but this one had a clean smell walking through the front door. Clean room, clean hall ways and lobby area. The breakfast was decent, it was the same stuff everyday, which is probably normal. They are pet friendly with a reasonable fee. The area was nice and felt safe. Rooms: The room was nice and clean. My flight was cancelled so American Airlines put me up in this hotel. Though I appreciated the friendliness of the front desk and the shuttle operator, I did not have a good experience. The room was dirty. The sheets had pee stains on them. The towels had stains too. I asked for new sheets from the night desk person and never received them. I moved the chair and a cockroach ran out. Later I went to the bathroom and another roach was in there. I was glad I had an early flight because I couldnt sleep in such a dirty place.

Stayed here to catch a flight out of DFW airport the location. Conveniently located near the airport, and provided a shuttle. My check-in was easy and the room was spacious and clean, and the staff professional and friendly at a reasonable price. If you ever in town stop by the La quinta In west DFW. The breakfast was the best part and they have coffee all day. The hallway smelled weird and the bed was not very comfortable. If I had planned better for our impromptu Dallas layover we would have been very prepared for the lack of comfort amenities. However, I would stay over again. Also, there is a shuttle service to the airport that runs every hour, make sure to call and make them aware of your movement so the shuttle can be arranged.

I booked a room online around 6pm and was in my room by 7! The front desk was very helpful and kind after my terrible day. I was able to take a nice warm shower and sleep in a comfortable bed. Only concern was this is right on the highway, meaning cars are the new white noise. The freeway is less noticeable than noise from rooms, as the elevator dinging woke me up a few times, and you can hear every conversation and door slam. Overall, I had a good stay and even got some breakfast before checking out. Will definitely be using this La Quinta again if I m in a pinch!

The hotel was not clean. The towels smelled like humid storage. We came back late Saturday night to find that the toilet paper was not refilled. It was a two queen bedroom and not enough supplies. The beds had bedbugs, hence, the pictures attached to this review. I was highly disappointed. The bathroom had no fans so it was very stuffy and steamy, so it took a while to cool down after we d shower. Won t be coming back to this hotel and I won t recommend it.

We stayed in room 115, was tiny, dark, and smelly. We were very disappointed with this stay as we have normally had better accommodations with this chain. Staff was great and responsive. I was charges a high rate for a tiny room and then had to listen to the elevator noise all night (the door next to elevator).

I stayed here for a week through work and I d hate to return. The shuttle and front desk had some communication issues so it took over an hour and many calls to get picked up several different times. Room stunk and smelled like mold and I had to get a door key reprogrammed just about everyday.

Pool was freezing, my son couldnt swim in it, Hot tub had scum, old chlorine smell, and had a scab with hair on it floating around. Rooms were decent, and really good breakfast. Workers claimed the circuit on the pool was fix earlier this week and the pool needed time to warm up, but it was colder at the end if our stay then it was at the start. Room had an AC/Heater unit that smelled like mold. Other reviews will confirm, not a bad place but they never fix the pool, if you want to swim or let the kids have fun, this is NOT the hotel for you, but if you need a place to sleep in the winter, and a great breakfast this is the place for you. UPDATE: Went back to the hotel a month after staying there, and tested the owners claims the pool is warmer but it was 74 degrees not 95, and the spa was still green and nasty, so owner lied and now I am changing my rating from 2 to 1 star since the management is dishonest.

It was ok. Fire alarm in the room was hanging down and falling apart and couch in the king bed suite was beyond uncomfortable. No extra pillows or blankets in the facility. Had to ask the front desk to restock towels in pool every time we went. Continental breakfast was good and room was spacious which was nice traveling with 3 kids. It was ok for the price, but will not go back. Rooms: Large suite, comfortable bed. Awful couch and pullout bed was terrible. Food and drinks: Breakfast was good.

Stay due to a flight being cancelled. Waited at the airport for over 1.5 hours for they re shuttle to pick me up after I called for a pickup. Then the driver was texting while driving back to the hotel. Room was clean-ish but could use some tlc. Hallway smelled of weed the entire time. Typical stay out of necessity type place or to save a few bucks but I wouldn t book here if with advanced travel plans

Pool is freezing cold and unusable. Staff said a fuse broke earlier in the week, it was replaced mid week and should take a few days to warm up. It was cold when we got here on Friday and it feels even colder now on Sunday. Hot tub is perfectly hot, but I cant enjoy it when Im pregnant and I was really looking forward to enjoying a swim at least once. Everything else is great here! Room is nice and clean, continental breakfast has everything (pastries, eggs, yogurt, waffles, cereal, etc), and staff are very helpful.

Ill start off by saying Makayla B. at the Front Desk gave absolutely phenomenal guest service. From the time we checked in and throughout our stay, she was so friendly & helpful when we needed anything. The other staff was also very kind and helpful. Housekeeping should be given a raise for how attentive they were. Always keeping our room maintained and comfortable. Gabby doing the breakfast set up is phenomenal as well!! It was a GREAT stay for our Valentines weekend getaway & I will 100% be back for our next adventure!! Thank you La Quinta Staff for a remarkable experience! 10 Stars!!

Literally had housekeeping knocking at my door since early in the morning then every hour till we checked out. We were even woken up around 9 from the door slamming into the door stop from them letting themselves in. I ve never had that type of experience before and when I spoke to management about it and explained that they kept waking me up, I didn t even get an apology just a I ll talk to them what does that do for me or to correct the situation at all ? Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else that actually cares about their guests and their guest s experience. Update: we had called and asked for late checkout and was told 11:30 but I m definitely not surprised by management s response. Why would I be so upset over two knocks when we were already awake? My first review is beyond accurate, they don t care even an ounce about your experience. That response tells you everything you need to know, run.

One of the two keys we were given did not work, for whatever reason. The room was suitable, clean, had what we needed. The view was not excellent, but wasnt really the reason we booked there so it wasnt consequential. The quality of the toilet tissue could have been better for what we had paid, but it did the job. We have a child with allergies and there were too many breakfast selections he could have. Common allergies are gluten, dairy, eggs I have been at othet hotels with our kids for sports tourneys and would love to have seen a gluten free loaf of bread for some toast, hashbrowns (without gluten), and maybe some bacon. These have been common in other hotel chains and would definitely have helped. Well aware that allergies arent always thought about, but just sharing for ideas for the future.

Had a flight that was cancelled and airline provided a hotel voucher. Check-in was fast and courteous. Guest rep provided free bottled water, toothbrush & toothpaste. Shuttle bus was fast & friendly for the ride back to airport the next morning; however, there was an issue with the shuttle bus picking up from the airport the night before. From the time I called the shuttle bus for a pick up, it was over an hour before it arrived. I had to wait outside & sit on the concrete waiting for it.

Clean and updated rooms at a reasonable price. Definitely a nice hotel to stay. It is a little further away than most airport hotels which impacts the free shuttle service. It took over an hour for pickup and in the morning the shuttle left 5 minutes before the scheduled time, which if you miss there is only one shuttle so will take well over half an hour to return. Walkability: Nothing nearby to walk to.

I ended up staying here due to my flight getting canceled out of DFW. It seemed to be in a nice area. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Theres a shuttle to the airport which is good however they only run every hour on the hour. The lobby area is very nice with couches and a TV as well as coffee available and they had drinks and snacks for sale. There was also a washer and dryer on the 1st floor and a pool although I didnt have a chance to use that. The room was very nice, spacious and clean. There was a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The bed was extremely comfortable but the pillows needed some help. The location was great as there was a Steakhouse directly next to the hotel and a gas station next to that within walking distance whice was nice to grab some drinks and snacks for the night. It was a nice stay even though it was just one night and would definitely return if stuck at DFW again

There were a ton of small things in the room that make it feel cheap. The room was dirty, and had roaches, pillow cases were stained and pillows inside were yellowed and dirty. The bathroom had rust on the doorframes and vent covers and dirt/dust in many of the little places on the vanity. The carpet even felt sticky when walking on it barefoot.

Stayed here because it was supposed to be 6.5 miles from Six Flags it was a bit further than that but otherwise everything was fine nice staff, nice sized rooms and a pretty good hot breakfast. With eggs, sausage, biscuits, ect. Oh and indoor pool and hot tub.

Hotel rooms are really nice. The Internet is ridiculously slow. So be prepared to use your hotspot if you want to watch a movie or anything on a laptop. I asked if there s anything you can do about it and you said no and no one else has complained. So I had to use my phone hotspot.

Shuttle took longer than expected for pick up. In the morning front desk said she had me scheduled for shuttle at 4 am which I didnt request and said she called my room. That was not true my phone never rang nor did I schedule shuttle for 4 am. I wanted it for 7 am and she indicated that 7am shuttle was reserved for training center for the pilots. I had to schedule the shuttle for 8 am and my flight was at 9 am so short turn around and unnecessary stress.

This hotel was just amazing. The pictures tell it all. Whatever you see in the pics thats what you get. Me and my family stayed for two nights for spring break and it was a great stay. The staff where so helpful no matter how busy they got they still had an upbeat attitude to help. The room was clean and the beds and pillows where comfortable and smelled nice. The price was well affordable for what all comes with it. The continental breakfast was a plus as well. I recommend this hotel and when I come back I will be staying here again.
