Place was under construction, had little signs telling you to go around. Very disappointed in our stay. Not worth the cost of the room. Maybe it will improve once they clean the place up. If we would have know about the construction would have stayed somewhere else. Noteworthy details: Wait till the construction on the place is done.

Generally I try to make a rule that I do not write reviews while upset, but in this instance I feel the need to break that. The employees at this hotel are indifferent at best and incompetent at worst. I had the displeasure of staying here one night only. I arrived at 7:30pm, went straight to my room and did not leave again until 7:00am. During this time, my rental car keys were misplaced. Ok, my fault. I look throughout the room and ask the front desk agent to see if anyone had turned them in. He said no without looking. I asked him to call the employee from the day before. He said he did not have her number. I got an Uber to work and called literally every 30 minutes to one hour asking if they had been found. Asked them to notify housekeeping, construction, literally anyone. Asked them to review cameras. Not one person was kind or at all interested in helping. Finally I called a locksmith and paid the $350 to replace them chalking it up to my bad luck. I fly home. I get a call at 9:00pm. Magically they were found. The manager said yes, we found them in the bistro area where you were sitting this afternoon . I was sitting there while waiting for the locksmith. I truly believe they were found in the receptionist area that I asked them to check countless times and they are now trying to cover. I never entered that area until long after they were lost but regardless had someone had even one iota of kindness in them they could have been found or even if they hadn t been found my experience would have been different. If you have read this far, great, I have more. The hotel itself is unclean, they are undergoing renovations so there is construction everywhere. But don t be fooled- it s just a paint job and face lift. Nothing to fix the peeling paint, dirty floors and disgusting showers. I travel to Dfw for work often and this is my second time staying here because it is close to work but never again. I would highly recommend no one waste their time. It is quite literally a stain on Marriott to be associated with this facility.

Room had a damp mildew smell. We were transferred to another room. This room has crickets. Front desk said they had the rooms sprayed. There were two in the room by the window; one by the side of the bed; one under the chair. Front desk said there was nothing they can do. Not easy trying to sleep and then you hear the chirping noise. Had I known this my selection would have been different. I can deal with the dated look but not the bugs crawling and hoping around. I m so tired of the noise. Staff was nice.

If the hotel is charging for services then they should provide the services or pay the money back. Imagine getting up to go to an important meeting without shower.. or try taking a shower with icy cold water in middle of winters. This should not be a marriott property.

So I want to make it clear that my family only stays with Marriott because we have always had great experiences, and then today we stayed here at the Courtyard and from the outside everything was great then we came inside and find the lobby freezing cold are room was not ready and to top it off we were told to give them an hour and they would have our room ready. No the room was not ready we go put in a different room then requested, the shower only had Simi hot water more on the cold side paint peeling off the walls, one of the towels had a long black hair on it the fridge had a half drank water. Just overall not a great experience and I really wouldn t recommend this location. Rooms: Dirty towels, open water bottle in the fridge. Sad

I would not recommend. Pros : Price is low. good location (but maybe a bit too close of the highway noise through the windows). Friendly staff. The gym has been refurbished and is small but good. Access in / out of the hotel is convenient. OK : breakfast has not a lot of options, but a real person is doing it for you. Cons : the underlying infrastructure of the hotel is broke (plumbing, HVAC, Fire Detection Alarm, Wifi). I had to reach three times to reception for various issues : the toilet water intake was closed so tank was not filling. Fixed on day 2, but then I understood why as it was leaking. I put a trash bin under it for the rest of my stay. The Fire alarm rang twice at 4am in my room, woke me up. The HVAC is not great, my room was smelling moisture during the stay. The Wifi is sketchy and does not work during peak hours. I think the hotel does damage the reputation of Marriott and should be rebuilt.

Wifi was not working the entire 5-day stay. When asked, no comp given, and they said it will be weeks without. Major problem. Talked to the front desk and arranged to extend our stay 2 days. All was good until the next morning I was told I had to leave because they were booked. Then they said I could keep the room for almost 3 times the rate because of the Cowboy game in town. Not a happy camper. We went to another hotel nearby for the good rate. Evidently the lady I spoke with to extend my stay didnt do it, and they said they would talk to her. Whatever. It was a huge inconvenience for us. Ill never stay at a Marriott again. Oh, and our room smelled moldy or like cat pee.

Not worthy of Marriott name. Arrived to a front desk clerk having her dinner at front desk with greasy bag sitting on keyboard. The room was not fully cleaned and stocked and we had no housekeeping in 4 days. Went to front desk to ask and were told they had no housekeepers today. I suppose they didnt have any the day before either. The coffee served at the Starbuck counter is obviously not Starbuck standard as it was very weak. They too had no staff one morning. Very disappointed, particularly as Marriott members and myself as a former Marriott staff.

Easy 5 stars thanks to Bre! After traveling for 14 hours I was totally destroyed. I never thought walking in to a hotel would be a highlight of my day but here we go. Rarely it seems people on late shift care about much, but I met one of the nicest people ever tonight. I was greeted by the most welcoming and kind host, late at night, while I was sweaty and gross, and she made me feel comfortable and welcome. She introduced herself as Bre. As a Bon Voy member I m used to all the kind greetings. But there was something that just struck me about Bre and how genuine she was, so I just had to leave a review. Maybe it was the complimentary tooth paste, the kind smile I m just not sure, but what I am sure about is that she made me feel at home. Also, what I am sure about is that this is the kind of people I hope to hire for my business and I ll be here again in 6 weeks. If this is the kind of hospitality i should expect then the bar has been firmly raised. Kudos to Bre and whoever hired her, this hotel is my new go-to for DFW business trips.

I really had no idea a stay at a Marriott hotel could be this bad. I have almost 4,000 nights at Marriott properties and this is the worst one ever!!! The plumbing does not work. They tell you to use the bathroom in the lobby until it can be fixed. Everyone is using the communal bathroom in the lobby so it breaks too. When I was staying there All the exits on side of the building were closed because parts of the doors were falling off. The next morning the maintenance man was trying to fix doors and had his wife on speakerphone complaining about how bad the hotel is. It is ironic that Courtyard is the hotel for business but the wifi is so bad here you cant even check email.

Came to this hotel the weekend before last before July 4th and was very disappointed with the amenities outside. Pool is closed and with green water and a lot of algae in it probably hasn t been serviced in a long time. Little sitting area outside with chairs had vomit next to it and had been there for a min and nasty, and the gas fire pit was covered with a tarp but was all tore up with overgrown weeds all over the place between the cracks. It seems nobody takes care of the outside area at all. And both treadmills in the exercise room are broken, and appeared to have been that way for a while. The only thing nice about this place was the room. Which is the only reason why I gave this hotel an overall score of 2 stars. If it weren t for the room, I would ve gave this hotel only 1 star.

This is an older Courtyard with patios and balconies in practically every room. The sliding door didnt look that secure. The room was clean, but it needed a bit of maintenance. The bathroom was spacious, and they shouldve used some of that to widen the shower. Or make that top shelf in the shower have a curve like the bottom one. Id watch your elbow when showering, even with soap in your eyes. The WiFi speed is very slow. The elevator is on the other end of the property from the check-in desk, and the carpet is thick enough to slow down wheeled luggage. The fitness center has a lot of room and a decent amount of equipment; however, there is no bench! Also, the lighting in the bigger section is poor. Id imagine the area would be brighter in the daylight because of the wall of windows. This was the first time I saw that touchscreen on that cable machine. It waa very helpful as I learned a few exercises to so with that machine now. The TV and water dispenser were out of commission. The menu for the Stay for Breakfast rate is not the same as the regular menu at the cafe. The staff were friendly and helpful and had to put up with a hot lobby. The rooms were cold though. There was an excessive heat warning that day, so maybe they were trying to conserve energy.

Cannot recommend, this facility needs total upgrade, especially sound insulation. Investment required by present owners or new owner willing to make the upgrade.

An hour and half later and 7 other guests check in, right in front of us I got upset and Im going to assume the manager showed up and got us in a room. Once in the room there were problem right off the bat. The restroom smelled real bad, almost a mold smell. The toilet tank didnt flush. We had to remove the tank lid to push the dobber down to let the tank fill each time we went to the bathroom. The door locks or the frame where the lock goes looked like it needed to be repaired. The door would swing everytime the outside door opened from the wind. At night we had 2 different people try to get in to the room by accident Im sure. The door would push almost open, but the lock latched. It was a bit disturbing. The front desk was called and NO ONE CAME TO FIX THESE PROBLEMS. I would not recommend this hotel at all. When we checked out not one person said anything to us about the problems Didnt even look at us just asked what we needed. I said I need a hard copy receipt. I got it and left.

Very nice and helpful staff. The hotel is convenient location to DFW airport and the flight training centers close to DFW airport. They allowed a 9:30am check in, which was incredible. The internet was down for 2 days and it appeared the staff s hands were tied because they had to defer to the hotel manager to get it fixed. It was finally back up the afternoon of my second day. The bed cover and comforter were very dingy and dirty from use. This was gross at best. I ve stayed in hundreds of Marriott s and this one was at the lower end of standards and practices.

I usually stay at Hilton but this time I saw this beautiful photos of this hotel and so I tried and disapointed. I should know that I got what I paid for. For Saturday night at $117, its a good deal right? Heres the catch! The lobby looked ok but not likein the photos. Wallpaper was peeling off the wall. All the funitures were old and cheap Christmas decors all over. The walk way to my room was like hospital...old and dirty carpet. You can here all the noises from your neighbors activities. My room us 174 on the first floor. Its a nice size room. I love the layout. It has backdoor access to the pool snd courtyard. Pool looked good too. First thing I checked was my bed. The sheet got stain and it look like the maid did not changed from previous guess. So I asked for a new set of bed sheets and changed it by myself. Bed is comfy. Black carpet in the room made the floor look uninvited kinda dirty look. It made me feel like I stayed in the ward at the hospital. The wall were so thin and the neighbors were so loud! Its disgusting. The lady at the front desk was super nice. Overall, I wont come back for sure. It needed remodelleng.

We stayed here Halloween weekend and I was erroneously charged for an extra day and a $316 smoking fee. There is a patio outside my room and there were others who were outside smoking. I have been calling and calling the hotel since Nov. 2 to get someone and all they keep telling me is I need to call you back, I need to get the GM, the DM and call you back. I did not appreciate the run around, so now I will call corporate with my concerns. I have the names of everyone I spoke to. Even my bank wont dispute it. this is crazy. I will NOT stay at any other Marriott hotel ever and I will let my friends know as well.

This property is awful. I am Platinum level with Marriott and never have problems. I have a billing problem and have left 3 or 4 messages for the manager Josh Martinez to call me over the last 2 weeks and he has not returned a single call. Horrible service by a supposed manager. There cancellation policies are absurd. They billed me for a stay and have never sent a folio or receipt for expense reporting. They wont return calls. Manager is a joke. Not paying attention to his business. Reading the reviews tells me its a poorly run property with a manager not doing his job. I will stay away from here in the future and you probably should too.

But I would ve overlooked it had it not been for the clueless, useless and rude front desk managers that don t want to do their job. One was named Kiera I believe. I was double charged for a room and she refused to help. Awful service.

I stay at this location often so I do not have to commute as far. I was not as happy this last week. On first stay this week the room had hardly any light because light bulbs didnt work I asked to fix and didnt but wanted to move me which was not convenient. The 2nd room I stayed in smelled like sewage off and on, lingering ants, and the laundry room dryer didnt work. I do have to say the staff is always pleasant to work with unless it is Johnny she is never that pleasant and rough almost rude most times. Also I wish this site like almost all of the others had breakfast but it doesnt. They do have a service bar in the am. you can buy something.

I chose this location for its price and proximity to the airport, and the fact that it had a shuttle from one of my discounts via my company - so I did not read the reviews before booking, and now I wish I would have! We arranged for the shuttle to pick us up at 6:15am to take us to the airport with one of the ladies working the front desk, who also happened to be the shuttle driver. Our room was on the far corner of the hotel, and with two kids and an older grandparent, walking places is not fast - this info is important, I promise. The morning of our flight, I get a call to the room at 5:56am. It was the shuttle driver asking what terminal we were at. When I told her, she said that if we could be down to the lobby by 6, that she would be able to take us with the other group (apparently the shuttle was full during sign up the night before, which is why we opted for the 6:15am ride). We were on our way out the door, and made it to the lobby at 6:02am to find that the shuttle had already gone. The lady working the front stated that she had taken the other group, but would make a special trip for us at 6:15. We needed to be at the airport at 6:30, so that was okay with us. We waited until 630, and when I asked what happened, she said she was on her way back and was 10 min away. We had to drive to the airport ourselves, luckily making it just in time to board the plane. So what was supposed to be $112 parking and overnight for our trip turned out to be $328 since we had to pay $216 for a weeks parking at the airport. Aside from that fiasco, I wouldnt stay more than one night. The A/C in the hallways werent on, and the room needed some work- specifically in the bathroom where the wallpaper was peeling and the shower was dingy. If I could get my hotel room money back, I would be happy, but I know I would likely get a compd room, which I wouldnt use, especially at this location. If I could give 0 Stars, I would.

Stayed a couple nights for a funeral. We had a room so that was good but we requested to be placed near the rest of the family and confirmed before we got there but they put us on the other side of the hotel when we actually got there. It appeared they filled the room we discussed earlier but there was a baseball event going on so I understand rooms need filled. Pool was good. Elevator wasn t working. There was no breakfast as advertised. Not even coffee. And the bar was closed completely. The hallway outside of our room was like a furnace, no air whatsoever and the heat and humidity was suffocating on that second floor. It looked smoky, the air was so dense. Housekeeping never came to clean the room until the morning we left. The bedroom a/c struggled to keep the room cool, it never really got cool but compared to the hallway it was a pleasant feeling to walk in (at first) but it didn t last long, we were sweating the whole night. Definitely not a 3 or 4 star hotel, at least not anymore. Bed was extremely comfortable even though we slept with just a sheet because of the heat, and staff was relatively friendly so they got 2 stars instead of 1.

I usually love Courtyards. They tend to cater to business travel more than some other Marriott properties and are, therefore, a little more professional and well appointed than, say, a Fairfield. However, this particular example is showing some neglect. The card readers dont read a chip, theyre swipe only, which is outdated and less secure. The key card maker was balky and the clerk complained about its known issues. The stairwells appeared to not have been vacuumed since COVID started. In fact it seemed like, perhaps, the property has lacked any investment these past few years. The hallways are not air conditioned, their carpets stained. Thankfully, my room was in good condition, except for no facial tissues. The front desk reported that theyve been out of kleenex for some time. It feels like theres a lack of management and some years of disinvestment apparent here.

Unfortunately after showing up at 8:30 at night with a very tired 3-year-old grandson and a very long day I was told that they were overbooked and they had no room for us. After confirming my reservation earlier I was quite surprised to hear that. We werent the only ones but we were forced to end up in a roach infested dump 15 minutes away. The clerk was as helpful as she could be calling around looking for other rooms for us but finding nothing. Whoever allowed overbooking should be fired.

Big crickets in the halls, both ice makers broken, only one elevator in the very back of the building, entire first floor smells strongly of stale chlorine, toilets have trouble flushing, beds are uncomfortable, room A/C cant keep up (and its only 85 outside), and there seems to be no A/C in the hallways. Ive literally stayed at nicer Motel 6s. All that being said the room was clean and safe, the property is conveniently located, and the staff was helpful.

Absolutely an awful Marriott property. We had an overnight layover at DFW. I used Bonvoy points to book two rooms here, as it is relatively close to the airport, with resturants next door. We made an appointment to have the shuttle to pick us up. When we got outside, it was nowhere to be found. We waited 20 minutes and then called the hotel to see what the deal was, they said rudely No shuttle today. Okay, so we grabbed an Uber at the cost of $50. When we arrived and went to check in, they could only find the reservation for one room, even though I had confirmation emails for both rooms. After 15 minutes the night desk manager was able to pull up the reservation on the main system and gave us both our rooms. As we were making an appointment for the airport shuttle in the morning, another hotel guest came to the desk and started an argument over some room charges with the manager. Yelling on both sides occurred and the cops showed up, telling the guest and manager to both knock it off or they would be arrested. Interesting check in for sure. We were assured our ride would be ready in the morning and apologies were given for the bistro and bar being closed for the evening. The next morning we came down for coffee and breakfast, except there wasnt any. No coffee out or available for purchase, not so much as an apple available at the still closed bistro or hotel marketplace. I enquired at the desk, where I was intinally completely ignored, until a different hotel employee came over and said that no services were available. I asked about our shuttle ride, and was told there is no shuttle and hasnt been for days. I informed him that I had a ride confirmed the previous evening, and was told too bad in response. When I asked for some coffee, as our room had none stocked, I was directed to a gas station a half mile away. We were left with no choice but to use another $50 Uber. Staying at hotel airports, you expect to get shuttle service and continental breakfast. If you have to pay $100 round trip for taxi service and buy your own coffee and breakfast, there are way better hotels than airport adjacent ones to stay at. Add in the awful customer service this hotel provides and you should definitely stay at any of the other 200 hotels nearby.
