Great start to the morning! I recommend the steak and eggs although I don t have a photo of that entree. We had the quiche, french toast and a kids waffle. The coffee is the nirvana and it was worth it. The restaurant is open so you can see exactly how many seats are open( so if you have to wait you can tell why) Love coming here instead of most chain breakfast place because I know there wont be a long wait and there will be good food. Haven t encountered a bad server yet! Thank you for being a great place to eat.

My wife and I used to love this place. Our usual local breakfast stop on the weekend. You used to walk in and order at the counter, find your own place. The food was always hot and fresh and definitely one of our favorite places. Unfortunately, this is not the place we once loved anymore. The food was decent for the price. Unfortunately the temperature was slightly under warm. The hash browns were over cooked and greasy. On the menu, it says maple syrup is served with the pancakes. I was told that the syrup was actually a corn based syrup. More transparency is always better. The soda machine had no carbonation so they were only able to offer us a limited selection of canned soda or unsweetened tea. The coffee is usually a good choice. I have never been disappointed by there variety of coffee beverages. Our server was nice and attentive. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. My daughter needed a change of clothes after using the bathroom. It s sad that we feel we will never be back. Hopefully we can enjoy this restaurant the way we once did.

The staff was cordial. The chicken and waffle was terrible. It was underwhelming and below basic. I am still trying to figure out how a waffle can be limp, soggy and room temperature at the same time. The chicken was a low quality frozen breaded chicken breast. There was no presentation on the plate. My friend had pancakes and an omelet with a totally different experience. She did mention that the restroom was filthy, so I wont return here anytime soon.

Food was ok. I had the chicken and waffles. It was my first time having it after all the hype of chicken and waffles finally got me. The chicken wasn t seasoned at all just fried. The waffle was decent. Just kind ehh. The Service was super trash. No greeting when you walk in. No one came to ask us anything. Finally a chick came up to us and asked us if we wrote out name down? Like umm no you haven t told us we needed to or anything. The chick looked lost. There were multiple tables open and she just kept look at the and at her paper all confused. Just zero training or critical thinking skills at all. Finally I asked if we could go sit at an open table and she said which one? I said the one that s obviously available. She then said she has to go ask. Came back and said she said no like why tf not I asked. Then some other girl came over and said he said it s ok after coming from the back. I NEVER leave reviews but damn this sucked. Like who tf hires these people who obviously can t do the bare minimum of greeting a customer. The atmosphere was just ehh. The service is the reason I ll never come back to this spot.

I really want places like Wood & Grain to succeed! Truly. But our experience was in every way underwhelming. Not terrible, but certainly not worth the price. There is no kids menu, so for one adult and a 7yo kid to eat a basic breakfast cost almost $40. The drip coffee is $4.25, which is insulting--especially since it was mediocre and the creamer was that non-dairy pull tab kind you would get at the gas station. For $4.25 (when a pound of organic coffee is $7-$10) you need to bring out real organic creamer from the fridge. As a mom who grocery shops and makes dinner, I know what eggs, toast and coffee costs. I get that you have to build in overhead and staff, but lets not be crazy. At this price point you just have to do better. I spend a lot of time trying to convince my friends and neighbors to pay extra to support small, local businesses. For paying that extra price something has to be exceptional. Either the service, the quality and taste of food or the atmosphere. If you cant do that, the food needs to be a bargain. The service was acceptable, the food was okay and the atmosphere was minimal and basic. Everything here was just fine. And just fine in a bad economy is not enough to bring me back with additional mouths. When you ask families to stretch their dollars to support you, you have to make it worth the sacrifice. It would not be hard to shift in that direction, but until then W&G is just okay and not worth the cost. I really wanted to love it! Should something change, I would absolutely give it a second chance.

Wood & Grain Bistro deserves a glowing 5-star review! Met friends here for a weekday brunch and it was a fantastic experience. The bistro wasnt crowded, making for a relaxed atmosphere. The food was absolutely amazing, exceeding all our expectations. While the server did spend a bit too much time with a regular, this minor issue didnt detract from the overall excellence. Highly recommend Wood & Grain Bistro for anyone looking for a delightful brunch spot with incredible food and a welcoming ambiance. A must-visit!

We decided to stop at this place for breakfast based on the good reviews, but our experience was quite disappointing. As soon as we stepped inside, we noticed the sticky floors and tables, which immediately set a negative tone. The paper menu we received had stains on it, which wasnt very appetizing. The coffee was extremely strong and had a really bad aftertaste. I ordered the biscuits with jalapeño gravy, and my husband had some kind of hash, both of which were quite underwhelming. The biscuits were dry, while the hash tasted bland. Overall, we were very disappointed with the cleanliness and quality of the food. We wont be returning and wouldnt recommend this place to others.

Food was good, service was mediocre, atmosphere ehh. The hostess would clean off a table and then put the rag on the front counter with all the menus or next to all the items for sale. Tables were still wet when I was sat down. Opened up napkin to find it looked like someone just used it. COFFEE was good. Wait staff was more concerned about getting tops of table instead of helping get tables cleaned off. Went to bathroom and that was the most disgusting part. Something on toilet seat, soap dispenser was gross, paper towel dispenser has stuff all over the outside of it and there was stuff all over the wall While the food I had was good the overall experience will probably stop me from coming back.

They changed the format of the restaurant and now they have more staff and increased their prices; however they are now really slow, a lot of people waiting to be seated and a lot of tables available. We love this place, but dont understand why they changed the format from order, then seat yourself to a totally wait staff driven format. We think it worked better the old way and it took longer to get in and get our food/check. One other thing I dont understand is if you do not order straight from the menu, your food comes out on separate plates. This morning, my eggs with cheese and a side of sausage came on two plates that were so small, it was hard to eat from.

I recently visited a new restaurant and wanted to share my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the friendly and welcoming service. The staff greeted me promptly and found me a seat in no time. The atmosphere of the restaurant was open and airy, giving me a cozy coffee-shop vibe that I found quite inviting. As I perused the menu, I decided to take a chance on a couple of dishes that looked appealing. I ordered the bananas foster pancakes and the chilaquiles with chorizo. And let me tell you, I was not disappointed! The pancakes were a perfect balance of sweet and nutty, with just the right amount of sweetness to satisfy my taste buds without being overpowering. The chilaquiles were equally delicious, with the chorizo being the standout ingredient. It was some of the best chorizo Ive ever had, better than what Ive had at many other restaurants. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great brunch spot. The quality of the food and the level of service matches that of many other expensive restaurants in the area. And the best part is that they are open until 3 PM, which is an hour later than many other brunch spots. If you havent tried this place yet, I highly encourage you to do so and experience it for yourself!

If youre looking for a cute breakfast place with healthy options in Fort Worth, this is it! The restaurant is bright, and has an industrial modern interior. Lots of seating available. They also have a little shelf full of local goodies such as jams/honeys that you can purchase alongside your meal. The restaurant is counter service, and the women working there were very kind and patient as we perused the menu. My friend ordered an entree, but 40 minutes in we were still waiting for our food. Somehow the restaurant cook forgot about the order. She was refunded the difference and was given an apology. Bummer because we really wanted to try the other dish as well. I ordered the Berry Compote toast, which came with a side salad (ricotta cheese and berry compote featuring seasonal fruit. Served with mixed greens in a lemon vinaigrette dressing). The berry toast was good, but I wish the salad came with seasonal fruit mixed in with the greens! Plenty of parking since it is within a strip mall along the highway.

I had to try this spot again after reading the review from Zane K who called this place a woke establishment My $13 salad was quite lovely overall although I feel the $3 up-charge for bacon bits is a bit steep. Definitely worth checking out but be ready to drop some coin. The website doesn t work worth a flip. Creative, quality fare lovingly prepared by left wokeists . My kinda joint!

Been coming to Wood & Grain for a few years now and it has always been a wonderful experience. Food is very delicious and the staff is super friendly. Highly recommend the chilaquiles, the jalapeño gravy biscuits, and any of the eggs Benedict options. My wife loves their lox toast and caramel kiss coffee.

Great place!! Big portions and tastes good to , me and my mom had breakfast there around 9 and they opened at 8 not many people there but that just made it peaceful like a nice place to read a book and hang out with friends or family! You order before you sit and you can choose your seating . I had the chicken fried chicken with potatoes and the eggs were actually tasty I added cheese my mom had chicken and waffles fruit and drop coffee after she didnt like how watery the orange juice was ( the waitress took the orange juice to the back to make a new pitcher which was a nice thing ). Vegetarian options: They have some yummy potatoes and Im sure there other veggies are good too Parking: In a plaza but in the back not many cars in the restaurant area Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp not to far from the entrance

At best mediocre. Staff was friendly, but food was basic. The Avacado toast is quite literally in the name. A big slice of bread with a cut Avacado. Steak and egg was ok, coffee ok. Price point not okay.

Decent breakfast spot, that is not too busy and easy to get in. Would have preferred a table service set up, but you will need to order at the counter. Had breakfast tacos, decent, they had some pickled red onion and sour cream, that I felt were unnecessary. Also had the Benedict, perfectly cooked (not everyone nails the poached eggs). Decided not to get orange juice as it was not freshly squeezed. Would like to come back and get the pork belly benedict and the fench toast. It was more like a 3.5 star rating, next visit can make it or break it for a 4 star rating, in my opinion.

Wood & Grain Bistro was a great little spot for brunch. The food was delicious. I had the Breakfrast Benny. The English muffin was cooked just right, the poached egg was perfect, and the breakfast potatoes were good as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent service! The cherry on top though was the coffee. If you re looking for a good coffee, this is the place for you. I had the Honey Bunches of Oats, made with oat milk, and it was so tasty! Highly recommend a visit if you haven t tried this place yet.

Meh...for the price the food is just okay, maybe a little less than okay. It was over 40 bucks for 2 of us. There was no flavoring for the coffee, just half n half. My son said the waffle tasted like funnel cake, which he doesnt like. The waffle wasnt crispy on the outside it was kinda soggy. My eggs were underdone for me and the potatoes werent done all the way and had minimal flavor.

Amazing staff, amazing food. Small business with big comfort and class. They support other small businesses too! Highly recommend! Vegetarian options: There are a few plates that are already vegetarian, and plenty that can easily be made vegetarian. Dietary restrictions: There is gluten free bread available to substitute on any plate. There are also regularly gluten free pastries. The staff is knowledgeable and able to modify plates to accommodate most needs. Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu, booster seats and high chairs available. Wheelchair accessibility: There are slopes built into the parking lot to allow for wheelchair access to the whole shopping center. The restaurant walkways are wide enough and wheelchairs can wheel right up to a chosen table.

Location looked so cute! Was excited to have a brunch date with the hubby. Register was very rushing I was not able to look at the menu very well. Ordered two egg breakfast and French toast I don t eat meat but both meals came with bacon. When food arrived I requested to please remove the bacon she said she would bring me an extra plate I asked no please I need a new plate. She got mad took it to the kitchen came back out and was practically yelling at me in front of customers saying I should have told her before I ordered no bacon and repeated herself like 3 times. I didn t say a word after 20 minutes she brought my food out and the French toast was burned so bad I have attached a picture. Won t be coming back and if you want to eat brunch this place is not recommended

This place has the potential to be one of the better brunch places in the DFW metro area. Service was great. Flavors had more depth and were a bit more complex than your average brunch place. Some minor issues like the egg being overcooked (ordered over easy, was over well) and grill marks on chicken tasting somewhat burnt, but will likely visit again.

Pros: Nice staff Clean restaurant Cons: Very expensive (especially for the small sized portions); don t expect to leave without paying ~$16+ per person I didn t like the taste of my food. I couldn t bring myself to eat more than a few bites of the scrambled eggs and cheese. The gravy was too sweet. The cornbread biscuits were interesting. The hashbrowns were bland. The bacon lacked flavor. I d recommend Triple A Cafe (about 10 min away) over this place! At Triple A, the food tastes better, the prices are lower or the same, & the menu has at least 3x the choices on it than Wood & Grain.

The gravy had a hint of jalapeno, but not overwhelming. The biscuits were marvelous. Eggs cooked exactly to order. Thank you for my tasty meal!! The atmosphere is wonderful. There are books all around to read as you eat or drink your coffee. There were families and couples as well as young professionals. This place is glorious. I highly recommend that you try out Wood and Grain Bistro when you get a chance. Update: Everything is still outstanding! The coffee, the food, the service; all out of this world. They sell art from local artists; coffee, honey, and jams from local artisans as well. The staff is always friendly and personable.
