Points for trying but it was not a great experience. Food at lunch was bland and tasted stale, not fresh at all. Bento box was presented well but not very flavorful. The chicken katsu itself and spring roll was the only edible thing on the plate unfortunately. Bathrooms were also extremely unpleasant and very smelly, and a huge turn off for any restaurant experience. Was very empty at lunch time. I expected better.

It was literally ramen noodles, they even used the shrimp flavor pack. Lol. I wasnt paying $16 for some imitation crab and Walmart ingredients. Waiter said it was only the Korean seafood ramen dish but I dunno. My girlfriends fried rice dish was also terrible like the pans were dirty or something. Octopus balls were great. Not coming back.

I recently visited kikKo Ramen and Poke in Beaumont, Texas, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. I ordered a dish that was neither cooked properly nor tasted as it should have. On top of that, my food was merely warm, not hot as expected. The egg I had tasted old, which was quite off-putting. To make matters worse, there was white residue and other unpleasant particles in my drink. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, they only offered to get me a new drink, which I declined because I had already consumed part of the contaminated one and was concerned about getting sick. If you decide to eat here, make sure to check that everything is cooked thoroughly, and ensure the cups and ice are clean. My overall experience was terrible, and I cannot recommend this place based on my visit. I was also charged full price with out there being any kind of discount which has me outrage.

We had chicken wonton miso soup which was very tadty. The appetizer spribg rolls were so good! We tried three different Delicious ramen dishes. The staff was very helpfulanswering my questions. We also had Boba tea and it was perfect! Try the Taro Bubble Tea with tapioca!

Nice little place! Parking went well (we came in about 7pm though), and it seemed clean inside. Decor was easy on the eyes. I ordered the beef ramen and it was very good. I was a little unsure what to expect with a $15 price tag, but the bowl was pretty large and well-filled! Our waitress was very polite (though pointing at the menu seemed to help with communication, so Id suggest doing that as youre ordering, and nodding/shaking your head where applicable). The wait to get the food wasnt all that long for how many people were also there. The to-go bowls afterwards were also convenient. For those interested, they even offer things like Japanese sodas if youd like to try them. Theres also some interesting flavors of Boba tea, like cookies & cream. Overall a good experience, and Ill be thrilled to come back!

I put in a delivery order through Uber Eats for a Tonkotsu Ramen. In the description I explain Severely Allergic to corn. I ve worked in the food industry and so I know they can see the notes made by the customer through the app. I explained Please do not add corn, severely allergic. Well they added the corn, so I called them and told them my situation. I told them to please thoroughly check their orders for allergies. The guy over the phone was clearly just annoyed with me and dismissive. But the point is, it was a safety issue that wasn t taken seriously.

Ive had twice in about 2 months. Once was to go other was dine in. Today, the dine in experience was good service, the ramen was not as flavorful this time. We really love the kimchi fries, that alone is worth it! The chicken katsu was delicious, loved the way the chicken was fried. All in all it was good, last time the ramen was better. We will be back

Took my daughter and son in law for his bday. My 1st time. The food was really good. A bit pricey, but worth it. The young lady who waited on us was super sweet and very polite. My daughter and I did the build your own bowl. Was yummy. SOL had a ramen bowl and enjoyed the dish. We tried the pork steamed buns. Was different, not bad but different from anything I have eaten before. Tried Yummy Sauce and it was really good. Over all, I would eat here again as long as I have the funds.

usually really great, but our waitress was impatient and kinda rude, i couldn t tell if it was her first day or not. not only rushing us to order (she stood over us while we looked over the menu and kept asking if we were ready when we had JUST gotten the menus) but then after handing us the check, while figuring out how much to tip, asking us to be quick because she needed to be off. i get wanting/needing to be somewhere, but this was pretty much how it was the whole time we were there, and we weren t being slow and taking our time at all, as we ALSO had somewhere to get to after.

My husband and I came here for dinner while on a road trip. We got regular sized poke bowls and a boba tea each. It was perfect portions. They give you a menu to mark your selection options for the poke bowl, so you get exactly what you want with your flavors. Our server was very attentive and the atmosphere was great.

Ramen was very good, broth was silky and delightful. What REALU differentiated this place and made it memorable were the appetizers - crab puffs and spicy edomame - probably the finest offering of said appetizers I have ever encountered. The food gave me a stomach virus, I should have known not to eat it, the tuna had a grey color the mango on the poke was brown, the person that made it was very unhygienic, he kept blowing his nose, that disgusting person even pulled out a wedgie before prepping the poke,he was the bold headed guy with glasses. We were there a little after 1pm, place was not busy at all, i should have paid better attention to that Red Flag! Food was sooooo bland. I requested spicy Ramen & got watery broth with Spaghetti noodles. Not Even Real Ramen Noodles!!!! There were 3 of us & the only one that enjoyed their food had a bento box. The staff was preoccupied chatting & being on their phones. Had to request napkins, utensils & had to remind the server of the soup that was supposed to come with the Bento box. Place was dirty, none of the table were set & it was S L O W!!!!! Youre better off going to grocery store, buying packaged Ramen & add what you like. I will bet it will not cost you $57 like our sad lunch did. Never returning!

Food was disgusting! Flavorless , unappealing to the eye and my broth tasted scorched. The absolute worst ramen I have ever had ! I asked for spicy but you can clearly see from the picture the ramen is very pale looking. Ingredients were not fresh. I took two bites and a sip of the broth and was immediately turned off. I ended up asking for a to-go box and threw it away when I got in the car. Mind you, my order was $32. I paid it though but I will never go back or recommend it to anyone. In addition, the service was really bad. I don t know if they are just short staffed all the time or what , but when me and my guest visited there (about 3:00pm) it was only a handful of customers dining in and the employees still took a long time to serve us. Not only that, but at the end when we were ready to go they gave us our check and took FOREVER to come pick it back up. We eventually took our own check to them to pay! We spent about 45-50 minutes there, about 40 minutes was spent waiting to be acknowledged and served and we only spent about 10 minutes eating after we got our food because it was so bad we couldn t stomach it. They never once asked us if we enjoyed the food, nor did they ask us if we needed anything, not even refills. I have nothing pleasant to say about this place unfortunately. Eat there at your own expense. Lol. Some of the guest who came in after us got treated with more attention and customer service though. Go Figure. Won t be back !!

I went in with my partner last night to get Ramen as we do on some of our date nights. He and I for the first time experienced a terrible server (Eugene). He took like 5 minutes to take our order and then brought our drinks out to us (unsweetened tea). We asked for sugar while we were giving the order. He didnt bring the sugar. We drank all our drink before the food came and he never refilled them. He never checked on us once to see if we were enjoying the meal. He almost refused to come back after we got our food. We waited upwards of 25 minutes staring at him while he catered to the other tables. He seemed to want to cater to the tables without POC. For context I am, but my partner is not. We had to flag him down just to get the check and to pay. After this experience Im not sure I want to return.

I ordered for delivery here three times and each time was great. I wanted to introduce my friend to it and sit down and eat. Dont get me wrong I know places get super busy. The first person was a cook that approached me and was very courteous and said it would be about mayhaps 25 to 30 minutes and if i wanted to wait I could take a seat. I said I was waiting for my friend and he said alright just let us know if you want to wait. My friend showed up 3 minutes later. The other server approached and said the same wait time. My friend and I were ok with that and said wed like to sit and wait. This guy let it a exasperated sigh and rolled his eyes at us. The heck. I told him nevermind he just lost our business just because of that. If I go back in I will walk back out of there if he is there. They seat you and take your order at the table instead of ordering at the counter. Our server was so sweet, enthusiastic and genuinely happy to help us. Theres a few vegetarian options. Unfortunately I dont care for the actual vegetarian ramen. The broth is not that great. But the udon, vegan spring rolls, & poke bowls are delicious. Vegetarian options: There are a few choices for vegetarians. I prefer the udon over the ramen for flavor. We go to this restaurant often, and we love the food! It comes out fairly quick, and is always delicious. The only downfall is the customer service. The servers tend to argue over who will take the table almost every time, and once they take you they seem frustrated. This is not the first time it has happened, and it s happened with a few different servers. This is one of our favorite spots and we hope that things change.

Honestly it s just more disappointing every time my husband and I go in. We normally dine but this time we ordered to go and our food was ice cold. We weren t able to heat it up in a microwave because we didn t have one available as I feel like you shouldn t even have to heat it up. My meal was missing the fried onions that come on top. I even called and tried to get the problem resolved but I couldn t understand anything the guy was saying that answered the phone so I told him nevermind and I just hung up. The last time we even dined in there our service was awful. We even watched a table that got sat right next to us just sit there for almost 10 minutes without service. We usually love this place, but we showed up on a Friday night at 9:25 p.m. when they dont close until 10:00 p.m. and were told that they stopped taking tables 30 to 40 minutes before they close... There was one other car in the lot, probably because they had been turning people away. I have never seen that before, and I used to wait tables for 5 years. I could understand if I walked in minutes before close, but turning customers away over 30 minutes before closing time is pretty ridiculous just because the employees want to leave early. If that is the policy, which I doubt, yall need to update your hours of operation on Google.

First time and I got the curry chicken bento box. I sure hope I just ordered the wrong thing. The only thing that was good was the little spring roll and the salad. Chicken was coated in some kind of bread crumbs or panko and the curry sauce was horrible. Fried rice def didn t taste right and the sauce they put on the vegetables was awful. This is a great place in Beaumont to try something different for a change. Get ramen bowl and you will have fun with the chopsticks, plus they are very good with tons of options. Everybody can find something for dinner or lunch or whatever. You can order a customized dish or pick directly from the menu for the perfect meal. I am pretty sure a couple could share a dish. The prices are good. The service is excellent. I love the Asian beers but they also have other options available with or without alcohol.

This place s food is so delicious. I put brown rice, spicy salmon, spicy tuna, crab (lots of it), pineapple, mango, cucumber, and the spring mix in my poke bowl with the creamy white sauce. It s so yummy!!!! I also love their crab puffs and taro bubble tea. The prices are quite reasonable as well. My only complaint is that it s a bit cold inside, so being a jacket!

This is my absolute most favorite place to eat. Im in there at least 2-3 times a week or just ordering to go. The food is always consistent, always fresh and hot. The downside is the wait staff. One in particular is slowww. Even when your literally the only one sitting in the establishment. He will take his time to seat you then just walk away without asking about a drink order. The last time I was there all 3 wait staff sat at the back table talking and playing on phones while me and my guest stood waiting to be seated in a empty restaurant. Once seated the waiter just walked away and avoided eye contact. I was so shocked I just got up and left, I ended up calling the manager from the parking lot and told him about it. I havent been back ever since and will only order to go when I see that particular waiter there. The 2 young lady waitresses are the best, fast and attentive. This other guy. Forgetful, slow and hes seems entirely to comfortable within his job. Which is a huge turn off. It sucks the restaurant will suffer because of bad waiters. Still gets five stars though because the food is absolutely amazing and the owners/Management/cooks are CONSISTENT!!

Our visit with Kikko was okay. We showed up about 45 min before closing and we asked nicely if it was too late to dine in and the guy at the front was very hesitant to let us sit down so we just ordered to go. Our food was made promptly and we paid and left. The items that were fried had the texture of it just sitting there, not much of a crunch. I love seedweed salad and that was a big plus for it being good. I opted for the sweet Thai chili sauce and it gave the dish more flavor, the the chicken was a little too bland for me. We will be back to give it another try.

I love this place. Me and my girlfriend went, I believe I got some ramen (I believe curry flavored?) which tasted great, she got a poke bowl, she didn t really like it, but thinks it may just be the combination she got not working together, she wants to go back and try other things. But 10/10 would recommend going just for takoyaki. First time I had it and I ve been craving it since, but this is the only place I know to get it. Wether you like octopus or not, I m certain you d like this. Probably my favorite place to eat in town. I love Kikko! My husband and I have different tastes in food. As in, I prefer to eat healthy most of the time and him, not so much. Kikko gives us great flexibility. I love the poke bowl with two scoops of protein. I get it with sushi rice, salmon, pineapple, mango, cucumber, jalapeno, cilantro, seaweed salad, avocado, and nori. No sauce. Its delicious. Normally I would get tofu, but Kikko uses soft tofu, and I dont think its great in this application. As a meat substitution I like marinated, grilled extra firm tofu. So if you arent vegan, I highly recommend getting a fish or chicken in your poke bowl. My husband likes the bento lunch box. He gets the pork katsu and enjoys it. I cant really say more than that, hell have to review it for himself. The food is always fast and fresh whether we order via delivery service or eat in the restaurant. The service in the restaurant is always terrific. I recommend checking Kikko out if you havent been here yet.

I ordered the crab puff, kikko ramen special, chicken teriyaki with fried rice, and vegetable yaki udon for carryout. Walking in at 5:45pm, not a single patron inside... first bad omen. Crab puff was creamy and crispy and vegetable udon had good flavor, albeit a little gummy. The chicken teriyaki was just ok; vegetables were soggy, chicken was overcooked. The accompanying fried rice was absolutely abysmal; it had the strangest aftertaste and was inedible. The kikko ramen was edible, but the broth was flavorless. Overall, the food was pretty disappointing and Ill probably only order the crab puff if I ever return.

Our first time here. Our waiter was very patient and explained the menu, and answered all of our questions. There are many appetizer options. The food was fresh. The restaurant was very clean. My husband enjoyed his poke bowl. I loved the spring rolls. The garlic dressing was nice on the salad. My meal of beef and vegetables was delicious.

Went around 6pm on a Friday night, there was no wait, but right after we sat down the place got packed. They have a extensive menu, I wasnt adventurous enough to try a poke bowl, so I got the shrimp fried rice and the tempura sweet potato ( which was enough to share and take home)I also got the Mango Milk Boba Tea My sister got these odd looking meatballs she said was made from octopus, I did try one and it was surprisingly good. She ordered a ramen bowland also got a Brown Sugar Boba tea, I tried it and thought it was way to sweet. We want to try the avocado one next time, all in all it was dry good food and I will be back to try more again.

This is definitely not a place to have ramen. I order the beef ramen in chicken broth, although the portion was well served, the soup taste like nothing, not even a little bit of season. It s says on their menu that their broth is prepared and seats for 24h, well I did not taste that at all. Customer service was great. The cleanliness of the place was ok, the seats were dirty when we were brought to our table.

Very tasty ramen! I got the kikko ramen special with pork and chicken cashu the broth was great as always I believe you can order any ramen you want spicy. Since I love spicy ramen thats how I decided to order it. I didnt order it this time but thier spicy edamame and popcorn chicken are amazing! Cool atmosphere. Clean inside and well organized. It is in a shopping plaza with abundant parking. The food is authentic and savory. I had the house special ramen and the meats were tender and flavorful! The broth was spicy but I dont mind a little more heat. I would travel from FL again just to enjoy. Our server Q was the best. Food was ok. I went with my daughter, her husband & 4 of their 5 children. When we got there, the seater seemed a bit agitated about all the kids. My 3 year old granddaughter asked if the waitress was a girl & she said yes. Afterwards, her daddy told her that was rude & we don t ask that question. My daughter walked passed our waitress at one point and overheard her on the phone complaining about my grandchildren. Then she overheard the waitress talking about my grandchildren to the 2 women at the table next to us. Even though she didn t deserve it, my son in law gave her a $20 tip. Then she said something to the ladies at the table next to us & they all started laughing. My grandchildren were not misbehaving whatsoever. My daughter always gets compliments on how well behaved they are. There was no excuse for the waitresses rudeness. I tried to say something to her after she received her tip & she wouldn t even look at me. My granddaughter was trying to tell her she was pretty.

Weve eaten there many times for dine-in, and for takeout. The ramen bowls are really good, my wife really likes them, but I am stuck on D11 the Unagi dish. To me, it is so good! Im surprised that I dont have any pictures of it, yet, because Im always excited to eat it that I dont think about it. I have tasted my wifes dishes, that she brings home, or that we takeout order, then she leaves it in the icebox. They are good, too, but not enough to sway me from D11. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice, and subdued, usually playing either contemporary Asian, or soft rock and pop. Our experience is that the wait staff is very professional and attentive to our needs. Update: I have now found that the lunch menu item (L9) of the dish that I like (D11) is really good. Its a little different, but in a good way!

The ramen noodles are a little thick for my taste. The broth is flavorful, and the toppings are generous. I also tried the poke bowls, and the sauces are good. Its nice to be able to customize the flavor, but you need to know what you are doing because the wait staff wasnt that knowledgeable. They were barely adequate. Luckily, I know what all the names mean, bit if this was a first time experience I could imagine it would be frustrating. I will definitely go again, but I wont expect much from the wait staff.

My first time slurping the entire bowl of broth down anywhere ever! Man was it good. I got the tonkotsu and my mom got the seafood. It was her first time trying ramen and she enjoyed it. Were here for the first time with moderate expectations. We got the steamed buns, a couple of Boba drinks, the teriyaki chicken, miso ramen, and tonkatsu ramen. Oh, and the kimchi fries! Because this is a ramen place, the most important determination of whether the food is good quality was really based on the ramens, and overall they were pretty decent. Ive had Ramen in Japan so thats probably not a fair comparison, but I will say it was a little bit on the salty side. The portion is good, with perhaps even more noodle than you really need, the pork in the tonkotsu wasnt the most tender but it definitely was not chewy or tough. Both of me so broth and the tonkotsu broths were rich. The teriyaki chicken is predictable and the kimchi fries are definitely unique, with a sauce that reminds me of the Chick-fil-A special sauce but with added spices and chilies. I may just be making that up in my head! This place is definitely worth a visit though if youre in the area and need solid ramen.

The best ramen restaurant in Beaumont. The prices are competitive and they have excellent quality and flavor. We no longer have to go to Houston to try good ramen. Its across from HEB and next to the car wash, so its a good idea to eat here while your car is being serviced.

Been here a few times but clearly it has changed. The service was horrible. My wife and my food came out cold. How is fresh ramen cold? The server wasn t willing to fix my meal and wouldn t let me speak with the manager. I had to leave my seat to get my bill fixed after we sat there for 10 minutes staring at bowls of cold food. I really wanted to like this place as PeiWei used to be my favorite hangout during carwash. Ordered Miso soup and large poke bowl. Miso tasted good, but very skimpy on tofu. The poke bowl suppose to be with salad, if 3 green leafs can be called that. 3xproteins? More like 3oz of protein. Nothing like Koko Ramen in PA. On top of that, credit card I never use, but used here, had a fraudulent charge on it next day. Sadly will have to avoid them.
