Awesome experience!!! Haven t been to this hotel in over 20 years!! I am amazed at how well the hotel has been kept up especially considering the several hurricanes that blew through the city. The pool is just as beautiful as it always was. The rooms are very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable!! Ate at the restaurant and loved what I ate so much, I ordered it again next night!! The hotel bar is very upscale and has a vast selection of top shelf liquors and wine!! Even though the hotel is almost 50 years old, you would never know it because it is still classy in my opinion. The most impressive thing about the Elegante and my experience was how AWESOME and FRIENDLY the ENTIRE STAFF IS They are very accommodating and you feel the genuine motivation behind the desire to make the guests feel welcomed and excited about their stay!! I will definitely be returning for future lodging and recommend that if you ever find yourself in Beaumont, Texas needing a hotel, The Elegante is the BEST CHOICE!! You wont be sorry

The outside smoking area needs cleaning and an upgrade. The rooms were nice but outdated. But definitely the best hotel in the area with a great complimentary breakfast buffet. Would stay again if I m ever in the area passing through. Safety: Security was present and the hotel felt safe.

I visited this hotel for a fundraiser brunch in Beaumont. I was surprised to find this gem. The facilities were clean and the decorum was warm and inviting. There was ample parking for this hotel and event center. The meeting rooms were spacious and equipped for audiovisual presentations. The sound system did not work efficiently in our meeting room but the small space made vocal projections easy. Our plated meal was served with coffee, tea, and water available. Our meal consisted of chicken salad, lettuce, tomato, a croissant, and chips. The chips were plated (not bagged) and did not maintain their integrity on the plate as served. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The restrooms were clean. The dining areas also were clean and filled with patrons. This suggested to me that the food was good. The pool was beautiful and well maintained. The cabanas around the pool were very inviting. Based on my experience, I would definitely visit again for a weekend getaway or staycation.

We normally do need to stay in a hotel while in the Beaumont area but this trip we did for 1 night. Unfortunately our stay in room 413 was not without incident. Like other reviews here the floor area in front of the bathroom and closet area remained wet the entire trip. It seems that the bathtub is leaking underneath some where because the actual floor in the bathroom remained dry. Can you imagine the how the room below us looks and smells!! Not to mention the mold that has to be there!! We told the staff upon check out and it didnt phase them at all. Major issues here!!! Food and drinks: We did order room service and that was ok

I stayed at this hotel after a horrible experience at a neighboring hotel. The room is nothing to write home about but it was clean and, for the price and location, better than I expected; but I may have been influenced by the awful hotel I had just experienced. But, for me, the fifth star was earned through the complementary breakfast. Much better than the typical waffle station and pastries as it includes french toast sticks and, my all-time-favorite, Trumoo whole chocolate milk. I didnt end up using the pool but it seemed other guests were really enjoying it.

My experience was great with the booking until my 6 kids wanted to go swim, they gave us 4 swimming pass and told me I can buy 2 more for $15 per child. At that point Im frustrated and go down to the front desk to buy the wrist bands. Waiting in line a lady call me to the desk. Ask how can I help you? I reply, Im here to buy 2 pool wrist bands . She tell me we dont sell them. I then tell her I just called down and someone told me I can buy it. The girl behind the counter said I told her that. The lady then tells her we dont do that anymore. She then says if you want them to swim you have to buy another room. So disrespectful and I ask can I get a refund cause at that point I been there 30 mins. She tell me I will have to charge you $80 dollars and refund the rest. Thats crazy you cant accommodate me and my family, try to force use to get another room, and was also so rude. So I ask to speak to a supervisor and she says I am the supervisor. At this point I cant believe your main job is customer service and hospitality and I didnt get any of that from there own supervisor.

As soon as I walked into the room, I knew I was going to have trouble. The room was humid and musty smelling. I was so tired and had prepaid for 3 nights because my adult daughter and I were attending a conference, so I hoped that I would be OK. However, even the sheets felt damp. Within 30 minutes of entering the room, my nose started to plug up, and I knew it was just a matter of time before my asthma kicked in. At 11 pm, I had to move to a different hotel. My daughter stayed since it was important for her to be on-site. Two hotel rooms at two different hotels for 3 nights. Terrible! This place needs some maintenance and updates badly! The hotel was full with the conference so changing rooms was not an option. The staff was friendly and conference facilities were nice, so I gave a higher score for that. Photos make this place look elegant that is far from the truth. Hotel is old and you can tell. The rooms smell musty, floors were damp and just felt gross if you walked on them barefoot. Rust in the sink and tub, doors don t close very good. AC didn t cool room off very well. They didn t have extra pillows for the pull out couches. Parking was absolutely horrible due to an event that the hotel hosted. Those staying at the hotel had to park across the street at another hotel due to no parking. Closed the book 40 min early. Our kids weren t able to enjoy the pool after being promised they could swim after being in the heat all day. Smell of weed outside was awful all weekend. Overall would not stay here again.

Do not recommend. The parking is absolutely ridiculous. We stayed Thursday-Sunday for baseball World Series. There was a reunion booked there at one of their halls which left no parking. I had to park across the street in a business parking lot one night and the other night on the street due to the event. There should be some additional parking for people who ARE NOT staying there and visiting for the event only. They also blocked a big part of the parking lot so the event can have an outside ceremony. They closed the pool down early and the cops were called cause the staff didn t know how to handle the crowd. The entire hotel smelled like weed from the even they were hosting. Gaps underneath the door were huge. Water pressure was horrible. Would not stay here again- checked out early.

2 queen beds make the room feel really small. The location is complicated to get to when traveling I-10 East with all of the construction going on. The pool is in the center of the hotel, but outside, so you can see your children at all times because theres only one way into the pool area and one way out.

Even before we arrived at this hotel, the staff had been very accommodating. This trend continued during our stay this past week as the staff went above and beyond to ensure a great experience. Athena and Anita are absolutely phenomenal and everyone that stays here should seek out Ms. Anita as you can find her doing a bit of everything. The entire crew of staff are very friendly and outgoing. The pool area is nice and the hotel is welcoming. It s on the older side, but the charm was definitely there and the staff made up for any modern updates that may have been lacking. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Having been a part of a conference, there wasn t one bad meal that was provided as the food was cooked to perfection and the flavors were on point. It was the best conference food I ve ever had from any hotel. I was sad to have left as it truly felt like a home away from home. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Beaumont. Many thanks to all the staff for making our stay a memorable and enjoyable one!

My husband and I have been wanting to check out some of the Beaumont museums for a while. We actually had reservations at MCM Elegante a month ago, but our crazy weather prevented us from going the morning we planned to check in. The staff graciously allowed us to cancel with no fees even though their policy clearly allows them to charge a penalty. Because of their understanding, we chose to stay there this past weekend even though there was a great last minute deal available for a room at a comparable hotel. I am very glad we did! In a society that tries to keep religion separate from business to avoid upsetting anyone, I was impressed to see the 10 Commandments at the entrance to the lobby. The staff was friendly and efficient during check-in. Our cabana room was clean and very comfortable. The free breakfast buffet had a good selection to start our day, and the location made it easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. My only disappointment was that we didnt have time to take advantage of the beautiful pool area! This was a wonderful experience and we will not hesitate to stay here again! Noteworthy details: Staff and service were excellent!

Do not stay here if you are traveling on behalf of a company or institution as they are very unfriendly and very behind the times in the way of technology. They will not work with companies who use Travel cards to book their travel, do not accept electronic/PDF signatures, and insist on the client faxing or emailing a copy of their driver s license to them very much a no-no in this day and age of identity theft, etc. We recently attempted to book some rooms there during a training for some of our employees, and the weekend staff were very unaccommodating and very unfriendly in terms of their communication. Definitely will not be recommending this hotel, and will be sure to tell other corporate accounts I know of not to use them. I would give their staff a negative rating, if possible.

Very condescending, will not allow me to speak with a manager even though I have been calling since Saturday. The rooms were not clean and had a urine order. I was overcharged for pool bands. I stayed at this hotel on May 18th in room 607. It was a king suite, the room was reserved for me, my husband and 2 kids, so of course we planned on utilizing the pull out couch bed for sleeping arrangements. The mattress for the pull out was absolutely disgusting and flat. Not only that but we werent even provided any sheets to cover it or pillows. I called the front desk to ask for some and was given the reason is because they were completely booked that they didnt have any sheets or pillows. We had to take the sheets and pillows off the king bed just so my kids could sleep semi-comfortably on a horrible old mattress. The room was dusty and for a king suite the bathroom was tiny and very old. This was the first time I stayed here and I wont be staying here again. If I reserve a room for 4 people I expect there to be sheets and pillows at least to accommodate 4 people. I even wrote the manager an email to explain the situation and didnt get a response back. The staff was nice but management needs to do some updating. Ive stayed in many hotels, and Ive never come across a room that didnt already have sheets and pillows for the pull out bed.

Like most of the reviews suggest, building needs an upgrade. Despite them needing upgrades, they can still keep the rooms clean!!! We stayed in room 410 May 2024 .the room was disgusting. Will never stay there again, the condition of the room was unacceptable. The shower and the shower rug was filthy!!! Rust and grime throughout the restroom. One white towel had a black spot on it. Sprinklers were rusted and looked like they were calcified, behind the entertainment center was a string of electrical multi-plugs connected to one another we had to unplug one thing in order to plug in the coffee Keurig. Why is this not a fire hazard with the plugs and sprinklers? Growing up this hotel was the standard beautiful and elegant ..not the case anymore. Time for new management and a complete reno!!

Absolutely love this hotel and the staff are absolutely amazing and everyone is very friendly. The hotel and the rooms are very clean. The food is delicious. The beds are very comfortable. Stayed in corner room 420 and was blessed with beautiful panoramic views. The room was spacious -- including a living room, bedroom, two sinks, and a closet. I stopped by here for a medium thin crust cheese pizza, which is amazing btw the crust is crunchy but not overdone with the perfect amount of chew to it sign of a super hot oven so kudos to the restaurant staff kitchen is a hidden gem and the staff are genuinely nice sometimes I go grab a beer while Im waiting always a good time, I look forward to the next steak night on Thursdays those steaks are cooked to perfection potato bar has all the right fixins too, maybe Ill actually stay here for a week but for now I just enjoy the good food and friendly faces. The people at the front desk were really nice! However, my room was extremely humid, to the point where the beds felt moist (turning on AC did not help). Additionally, I found food scraps on my bed! And this was the day of Check-In (so it was not me). My coworker who stayed in a separate room found a bed bug. Furthermore, I had left the room for around 10 hours and when I came back, I found pee on my toilet (it was still fresh), which means someone used the bathroom in my room. I do not recommend staying here.

I have stayed here three times now and every single time I have had impeccable service and clean accommodations. The 16oz steak in the restaurant was fantastic and their pizzas are good as well. Today I had a minor injury and wanted to report it to the hotel to make sure they were aware. They immediately sent someone to my room to check on me and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort was met. I will not stay anywhere else when in Beaumont. Thanks MCM

Rooms: The rooms we had were clean. The beds were comfortable. In one room the heater did not work so had to sleep with clothes on. We had sliding doors that opened to the pool. The view was nice. Noteworthy details: The employees were courteous. Sean (Shawn) was wonderful. When I expressed concerns about reviews he went overboard to assist me. I really enjoyed staying here for my brother in law wedding but the rooms could use a bit of better cleaning (the tub/toilet) and updating. The service was great coming and leaving. The location is awesome you are literally 5-10 minutes from a shopping mall, different eating areas and right off the highway which makes it very convenient when traveling 4-6hrs away. Will definitely come stay here again just next time I will make sure we have towels, toilet tissue and a cleaner room, other than that the staff was very professional and ready to help! And I must say the breakfast was da bomb delicious

This hotel needs some serious upgrades. The lobby area looks decent but once you get on the elevator, it is an eye sore. The carpet is old, beds are uncomfortable, and the walls and bathrooms are not cleaned properly. The cleaning crew just comes and makes the bed and nothing more. They also have a roach problem. I would not recommend anyone to stay here.

This is my first time staying here. Upon check in we observed how the lobby needed to be brightened and updated and how the windows needed to be seriously cleaned. Our check-in went very smooth and the young man was very polite and professional. We loved the lay out of our suit and the cleanliness of it. The furniture is kinda old, but we ll kept. I would stay here again and I would recommend it. IT IS MY HOPE THAT A FEW DOLLARS BE INVESTED IN THE NEEDED AREAS TO MAKE THIS A MORE ATTRACTIVE AND INVITING PLACE TO STAY. We checked out when we saw the bedding, old dirty pillows with holes in them, they were just filthy, then we got charded for 3 nights and had to call 3 times to try & get the credits applied back to our credit cards. MCM Elegante is not so elegante. Check in process was ok that didnt bother me so much. What does bother me is that if I didnt use the Swinging Bar Door Guard, anyone could get into the room if they just pushed hard enough. Also I called the restaurant downstairs to order a pizza and they told me it would take 15 minutes to be ready. Theodosha was the one working at cashiers desk and taking care of another couple. I was given the what do you need? and then dealt with an unfriendly interaction that resulted in me just paying for the pizza. Mind you, I waited 20 minutes from me giving the initial order to go downstairs. Then I waited an additional 20 minutes before I finally asked where my food was. It was given to me cold. The couple in front of me still hadnt received their food. To top it off, the pizza doesnt even taste good. Needless to say, this will be my last time staying here and Im super disappointed.

Location is great. Hotel needs huge upgrade. I felt truly unsafe in the cabana room with balcony due to 1.5 inch gap under room door, big enough for anything to crawl underneath or someone to see and/or stick a camera or anything under the door to unlock it. I don t think I d stay here again. The breakfast was decent and had decent service and the view from the balcony was nice. Yet, without feeling safe, that doesn t mean much of anything. Bathrooms small and furniture had stains. Curtains and furniture was dusty. Doors slam all night waking you up. Thin walls whereas I could hear what the people next door was watching and talking about.

Well for starters are experience checking in was ok. The employees at the front desk did not look friendly. We arrived to our door and it looked like someone had chipped away the wood on the door frame. Did not make me feel safe. I checked out the bed and found a big pink spot on the bed skirt. Looked at the other bed and bed skirt and it had little black spots on it. Even the desk chair had a white powdery spot on it. Not looking good. Air conditioner/heater was broke. My mother n laws room was dusty and we found long pieces of hair and tiny little black bugs crawling on the blanket on the bed. Paint on the walls and on ceiling baseboards had paint peeling of the walls and dirty corners in the room. Not looking good again. So all in all we both got new rooms and they where not much better. Very outdated and by this time I was very uncomfortable and the atmosphere made me feel itchy and I was very dissatisfied. O and by the way upstairs was noisy. Sounds of little feet running around. By this time I was upset and almost ready to gather my things and drive 2 hours back home in the dark. I would not recommend this hotel. I know I won t be back!

Someone else booked a room for me at the Elegante Hotel. I would recommend the patio room, the sight isnt an eyesore at night. They also give complimentary buffet styled Breakfast. Had 12:30pm reservations for Thanksgiving buffet. Had to wait in line for an hour to be checked in. They ran out of several sides and had to wait on plates that didn t appear to have been washed with soap. Food cold and lacked seasoning . Very inefficient.

The room was clean. The rest of the hotel was nice. Breakfast was disappointing. All drinks were served by a server rather than serve yourself. After sitting for 20 minutes no one had come to ask what we would like to drink. The hotel staff did their job but were not friendly.

Everything was fine until elevator broke outside our room on 5th floor. It beeped all night long. So no sleep. Bathrooms near ballroom had no pressure. Even an employee said there has always been problems with that bathroom with no fixing in place. No one offered to help carry out our stuff to our vehicle. Stairwell smelled like smoke and did not look clean.

I didnt stay at the hotel, but was close by so I ate at Hemmingways and Itza Pizza. Wings were crispy and had some heat, without going overboard. Muffuleta was delicious as well. Service was very good too, super sweet and attentive.

Elegante is an old hotel. Our rom was a suite so size was good . But it was out of repair. The lock to the room did not work. The staff suggested we stand in the hall till maintenance could fix it. A couple of hours later we got in. I had to plug lights in. The sofa had spots all over it.

We love and don t mind older hotels. All the staff we very polite and helpful. The bartender did go above and beyond to make our dinner excellent. We had steaks and a pizza and WOW! It was better than any steak house we ve been to lately! Our daughters pizza was so yummy. Also our room smelled super clean when opened the door. Seriously the style of the hotel felt like we were in the movie Casino! Only negative thing was we came back from a concert wanting some more pizza and drinks at the bar but were informed they close at 10pm on a Saturday night! Also they have basic cable but lots of movie channels so watching an old but good movie on hbo was a great end of the night ! I hope y all give the chef a Raise because we are still raving about our dinner! Nearby activities: Ford Stadium ! Food and drinks: Excellent dinner!!!!!

We had a wonderful time at this fantastic hotel. We come to Beaumont frequently to spend time with my son who lives nearby, so we have stayed in many hotels in the area. Our first night was problematic due to some late night party animals that were not behaving (not the hotel s fault at all) The night desk clerk moved us immediately to a better location and security took care of the situation immediately!. The next morning the hotel manager (Amanda) contacted me and apologized profusely and went WAY above and beyond to make everything right with our stay and moved us to a deluxe suite that was beautiful! Amanda was amazing to us and checked on us all weekend after our initial difficult situation. She is a super star! Her professionalism and attention to detail was bar none. This is now officially my forever hotel in Beaumont! Btw, the place is gorgeous,, the restaurant is fantastic and they even have a (very nice) complimentary breakfast buffet! Stay here!!!!!

The MCM Elegante is the best hotel we visit period. They have the best workers there is, best selection of food there is and even a free laundry room! Its also an enormous and beautiful hotel that is close to the Ford Arena. We always look forward to going Beaumont. Food and drinks: Hemingways Cafe has the best food in town! The Cajun platter is amazing.

This hotel needs to be updated this is crazy. I came back again and its still like this. Old old furniture, huge out of date dressers, outdated tubs and showers, curtains, towels old. But worst of all the rooms are HOT. The air condition units are in no way able to cool these rooms with this type of heat. The floors are wet out by the cabanas its just nasty. The cleaning people are trained to hang the bags off the sides of the trash cans so I had to go around opening bags and putting them in the trash cans. Horrible love seat in suite its old and worn it was like sitting on concrete. This visit to Beaumont was personal but in a few weeks I will be speaking at a convention there again and I hate they keep choosing this hotel instead of going back to the holiday Inn.

Place was pretty worn down. There is a loud banging by our room all night. Staff didn t want to be there, front desk as not trained on customer service, was not helpful and would rather chit chat with her coworker rather than focus at task at hand. I wish we would have stayed at Johnson or holiday across the street. Disappointed cause this hotel was recommend when for work.

I only stayed here because of an event I was attending. Will never stay again! This hotel is so outdated, and just smells old. The AC in my room was so noisy that it was difficult to sleep. There were parts of the hotel that were always hot. The womens bathroom near the ballroom always smelled terrible. The other bathrooms near the cafe were always locked and unavailable. Everything about the hotel was not up to standard and expectations. I do not feel that my money was well spent.

We stayed here June 14-16, 2023. We have stayed here in the past and would stay again. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. People complain of the water pressure. In reality, the pressure is good - the same pressure as in the bathroom sink faucet (based on how long it took to fill a glass - 4 seconds at the tap and 4 seconds out of the shower head). Unfortunately, the chosen shower heads just arent that good. Their water saving design simply doesnt send the water out fast enough to wash your hair. Therefore, if you desire to wash your hair, take their plastic glass in the shower with you so you can get enough water volume to wash/rinse your hair. That or get on your hands and knees and rinse your hair under the tub faucet (if you can get that low on the ground). We did not have the opportunity to use the bar or restaurant this trip, so I cant comment on them. The gift shop, located across from the elevators, looked like an empty store front. Not a good impression. Hopefully the management will bring a gift shop back or simply make the area an office and change the image of that area presented to the guests. All staff encountered were friendly, cheerful and helpful. It is a little difficult to get to the hotel but any phone gps should get you there without difficulty.

Too many things to even cover. This place is an absolute dump. The only thing worse than the rooms is the staff. Jessica in particular in the latest instance. Locked out of my room for hours, third time locked out. It s the lock not the key is the problem. They keep resetting the key even after I told them the first time maintenance said it was the lock.. and when a manager is asked for they said you just missed them, there s no one to speak to.. roaches and your typical issues but my food was in my room, opened.. left to get a drink from the lobby. Been locked out since. Nobody to speak to to fix the issue. Sitting outside my room even typing this waiting to get in to get my stuff to even leave. Literally just sitting in the hallway. Best way to wind down after work

Older hotel, with a few modern updates. Breakfast is overpriced, pizza is best thing on the menu. They actually make it fresh in house. Good cable selection, with a decent size flat screen TV. Beds and pillows are comfortable, if you get a room that ac works sleeping will be comfortable if they dont have some kind of convention or baseball group running around.

Calling this a 4 star hotel is a joke. Its kind of renovated but a lot of it is clearly decades old. I honestly cant remember the last time I stayed in a 4-star hotel that had an ancient tub/shower combo and a rubber bath mat. The clerk checked me in and did that well; he provided no additional info and theres no info sheet in the room except a QR to scan for the room service menu. The cleaning effort prior to me was half-measure; for instance there was a trash can and a trash bag but they werent together. The blankets on the bed were obviously old too. Even with a 33% discount, the rate and 4-star billing are a joke... if I had paid full price I might have actually asked for a refund. Its very conveniently located and has a lot of rooms but dont think this is luxury by any means. Im currently at a cheaper 3-star hotel thats so much nicer its laughable. Rooms: Mediocre at best Nearby activities: Conveniently located, conference facilities on site Safety: Feels very safe Walkability: Lots of restaurants nearby. Food and drinks: Restaurants on site and nearby, room service Noteworthy details: Not a 4-star. A lot of things are quite old and cheap.

First off. The nice things: Staff was very nice, bed comfortable ac very cold. Floyds across the highway was delicious. The not nice things: Booked a Concierge King room. Advertised as a luxury room. It was not. What is listed on the website does not match the reality of the room. Concierge Lounge was closed. That it was not open on weekends was not listed. There were no robes in room. Iron did not work. The carpet was sticky, trash under the bed. Water pressure was embarrassingly bad, to the point soap never fully rinsed off. Tub had peeling paint in it. To top the insanity of Beaumonts best hotel off, a GIANT stone ten commandments was at the entrance. Yikes. In future, I will stay at the Hilton.

Update: I Never did this but I did mean to add in a few things once I found this out. So the reason the room did not look like the one I booked at all is because they had scammed me out of the room I paid for and gave me a cheaper room. I had paid around $155 dollars for a nice room and they gave me a Standard room. I wasn t aware of this till a bit later, very disappointing. 1st off I want to say the workers here were very polite and very helpful but I have to say I was disappointed in How small our room was, when I booked theroom the picture I saw for this type of room it looked bigger and even a little nicer, for $155 I was expecting a little more, the bathroom is so small that the bathroom door is just a few inches away from hitting the toilet. Then on their page it clearly says a free breakfast (it says nothing about having to buy a breakfast package it just says a free breakfast I checked 3 times just to be sure I didnt read it wrong) we just spent $30 we didnt really have to get breakfast a breakfast that is the same as what other hotels offer who give free breakfast. We have stayed at other hotels that are $75 to $100 a night where the rooms were updated and much bigger with a free breakfast so I dont understand to why we had to pay nearly $200 dollars for this place. It was s nice stay but we just know next time we will go somewhere else.
