July 31, 2024 My cousin & Aunt came and ordered three meals to go & my cousin & aunt got baked chicken mashed potatoes & green beans & I got fried fish Mac & cheese & fried okra far as fried fish that piece of fish that I got was size of fish that you would serve a kid . And the Mac & cheese didnt have enough of cheese in it . The only food that tasted good & had good flavor was the fried okra & complimentary dressing . My cousin & Aunt was pleased with their food .

Not the best experience I ve had in a Luby s. I placed an order for pick. Having to kids with me I did this expecting just to run in and grab it. Precise pick-up details were not provided. I arrived and went to an area that looked like the pick-up area and there was team member there expediting orders that weren t my for dine-in guests, but for some reason that s not where I was to pick-up my on-line order. Instead I had to squeeze pass dine in guests to the cashier where I was told to sit and wait for an order that was supposed to be ready for pick-up (by this point) 20 minutes ago. And did I mention I have an 8 and a 6 year old with me. Both ready to eat. I can t imagine this is the ONLY option. And I m still sitting here waiting.

Three days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday I do chemo. I have to chemo. I swing into Lubys. I hit the drive-through. I don t order much just some macaroni macaroni amazing. It makes my day amazing but what else makes my day amazing is every time I run into Calvin Calvin over the past few months of me doing this Has a smile on his face Talks to me Provides me with the most outstanding customer service I ve ever had definitely better than anywhere in Beaumont Calvin n, in my personal Opinion Is the perfect example of a great employee the epiphany of great customer service and I hope one day to see Calvin as a manager because He would be a great fit all in all do yourself a favor go to Lubys swing through the drive-through and meet Calvin and shake his hand Dietary restrictions: Not too salty great options good food Parking: The only problem I see is the lack of lights Kid-friendliness: They greet your kids and they go above and beyond to make them smile Wheelchair accessibility: Has easy access

They were pouring buckets of water on the countertop around the fresh cook food. Once we got our food everything was absolutely freezing cold the bread that was served to us had to of been at least three days old. This is what y all are serving our senior community this is not even up to prison standards

If you havent been to Lubys in awhile, take my advice and try them again. The food is seasoned like home cooking. Pintos, cabbage, black eyed peas and cornbread. Vegetarian options: Lots of veggies to choose from. Some have been cooked/seasoned with meat. Not all.

I love Lubys! However, my last trip, the food was disappointing! The food was too cold. I do not like cold food. The liver that I love was tough. I did not enjoy the food at all. The customer service was good! Waiter actually took my plate and carried it to table. They made sure that we were comfortable. After trying to enjoy food, I told waiter how disappointing the food was.

How sad - a place that my large family has gone to for 40 years now this: I was in the US navy starting back in 1963. During the Biet Namm era. I am now almost 78 yeas old. My wife and I have been frequenting this Lubys 25 to 30 time med a year till yesterday when the checker and manager jacked out price for 2 LouAnn plates with water from $17 to $22. Zero military discount and zero senior citizens discounts. The manager did not give in one inch! This may not matter to some tho it is very important to us. Checking out ahead of us was an 80 year old woman who had to dig in her purse to pay the $14 for her Louann plate. So no doubt the Lubys we loved is now gone. My sizable family shall follow my lead to eat elsewhere! Sad sad sad

Coming from out of town Sunday night stop at lubys we got the chili and when we got home to Houston and tasted the chili it was to sweet never had sweet chili couldnt eat it. Talked to the manager Monday morning and she couldnt do anything ,Spent 18.00 on a bowl of sweet chili, She should have offered a lubys gift card.Shame on this lubys in Beaumont Tx.

I was traveling through Beaumont and decided to stop for the night. I saw the Lubys sign and decided to get some dinner. It was good, not as great as I remembered it was in San Antonio. I had the fish, mac & cheese, loaded mashed potatoes, salad, and beet salad. I also had the cream cheese jalapeños. I didnt like the beets at all, they have a spice that I dont like, I couldnt tell what it was but I didnt eat them. The mac & cheese were decent, the fish too. The potatoes were a little dry, I wish I would have got the mashed potatoes and gravy instead. I did end up taking the leftovers to my room and finishing it all. Id go back.

Great dining experience. The food quality was good for the price that I paid. The restaurant was not busy and I was in and out in thirty minutes. I am very pleased with the selection and the quality of the food. The staff was great and offered condiments as well as regularly refilling my drink. My wife and I went to this location today. She asked for liver and onions. And because the pan was can of empty she asked if more was coming out. We were told no that s it. So she ordered the liver and onions. I ordered the fried cod fish. They put two little pieces on her plate. Note Linda the manager is standing there but says and does nothing. I asked if she could have more. The manager steps in takes the onions off and separates the liver. Plate presentation ruined now. I ask if she could have more. Linda the manager responded I don t read minds took the onions off a second time and slaps on another piece of liver. That is not an example to set for those under her. Had I not been in a hurry I would have left. But I m happy I didn t because the wait staff was superior. Made up for the extremely rude manager. Linda the manager definitely needs more training. I pray she gets better at her job and set much better examples for those under her.
