Bayshore Park has all kinds of potential, however, as of the summer of 2024, it has fallen into serious disrepair. The park is overgrown by weeds and grass. While it was recently mowed, the park hasn t been weed-eated in at least a year. Whoever mowed it obviously used a tractor, with very dull blades because there s all kinds of grass pockets that were missed. The pavilions are all in bad shape and there s nothing resembling a playground for children. Given the proximity to League City and Kemah, you d think the county would do a better job maintaining this park.

Absolutely live this park. Very clean and kid friendly! Great family fun to be had and plenty of space to have it! They have a awesome playground. Bathrooms are decent. Picnic areas are alright need some cleaning. All in all still 5 star from me.

Wonderful view/day. But I saw multiple cats with only 1 eye. like animal abuse. And a weird box hiding in the bushes, creepy feeling for sure I had to grab my kid and nephew and GTFO. Playground: The playground has a great padded area for the little ones safety Toilets: Out of order, they had a porter potty blocking the actual restroom building, discussing Picnic area: You can actually have a party or even bbq. Picnic tables are available and have shade and theres electricity to play music as well

Very clean every time we go, relaxing ocean and no trash on the ground. Just gotta be careful of the drivers staring at their phones while driving. They wont notice if they hit you. Met some of the staff who are out there occasionally and theyre super sweet. Always a nice place to chill while the kids play. Playground: Always clean and well managed. Toilets: Tidy and decent. Dog-friendliness: It is dog friendly and offers baggies, but be careful because a lot of folks dont leash their dogs. Picnic area: Clean, well kept and open.

My daughter loves playing here, I really liked the ground is soft rubber material, not mulch. I was there on a beautiful day, Saturday around 11 and we were the only people on the playground. Tons of parking to.

Great place to hang around or to fish.... No restroom only porta a can..too far too. Playground: It has a decent playground Dog-friendliness: Yes you can bring your dog, I will recommend to keep them on a leash...I dont see a lot of people leaving their dogs off their leash Picnic area: It has a section where it was a basketball area,it has tables there and there is a side walk path it takes to another picnic tables,there arent too many though

I have been coming to San Leon for 3 years straight. Walking around the little park was fun after a long day of work. Unfortunately, it has changed for the worse. Way too much trash, dog and human feces counted 4 homeless people and 16 stray cats. Is sad that such a little town doesnt have the funds to keep up with maintenance. (Looks like someone is feeding the cats, but by the looks theyre reproducing) I was looking forward to my morning and noon walking but didnt feel safe or comfortable ( loud blonde lady screaming, arguing and singing) the beuty of that park was to enjoy the walks, enjoy sunset, sunrise and watch the big ships go by. Hopefully, theyll nuter cats soon.

Pretty views of the bay. Very short sidewalk for walking, was expecting alot more! Trash cans were overflowing with garbage blowing around. Not sure if that is the norm but was pretty gross when I was there. Watching the ships come and go is a very soothing pastime.

Boat ramp is well kept. Park seemed pretty clean. The boat ramp has a shallow slope, so you really have to get the trailer in there. Heading out into the bay the water was about 2.5-3 ft deep heading out into the bay with the tide at 1.25ft above MLLW. So watch the tide and your draft if you are heading out there! Wind from the bay along with current from that bayou or whatever it is can also make docking a challenge. Wish the dock was a bit longer out, would make it a lot easier for loading / unloading.

Was beautiful! Luckily for my husband and 1 were able to see a net fisherman walk out to the end of a what looked like a cement barge where anxiety pelicans and seagulls waited for buffet fish dinner. Lol It was amazing to see and I was really enjoying being there But unfortunately bathroom was closed. And we had leave if not wed loved to stay longer

Nice park located on the water front overlooking East Galveston. The park features with a large playground for children, restrooms, covered pavilion with picnic tables and hiking trail. There is also boat launch which is a double ramp with two piers. This park is excellent for fishing, hiking, kids playing and family activities.

This place is absolutely a wonderful to come sit in your car or get out and walk the path.. the smell of the water and the wi and in your face is sometimes all you need to call your nerves or even cry. Its so beautiful. In November I was looking at a storm coming in and the view was so stunning. I will have to find the pictures and post them here. So beautiful.
