VENUE: The Arlo @eventsatthearlo For me there was no other choice. The Arlo (10700 Signal Hill Rd.) is just doors down from the house I was born in (10500 Signal Hill Rd.) My mother purchased the 10 acres Nextdoor to, the now, Arlo in 1972 soon after High School because it cost her less to buy 10acres than to board her horse. She lived in a trailer until she met my father. In 1978 they built the original house and have since added on. We unexpectedly lost my mother on Easter Day (4/21/19) so this actually marks her being gone 5 years, almost to the day, of my wedding (4/20/24). My father still lives on the property and my mothers ashes are there. The chapel at the Arlo actually faces our property so for me it seemed to surreal to pass up, not only on my childhood street but overlooking my mom too. It was a no brainer. The Arlo, specifically Melony and the owner, Ron, went above and beyond with the details, requests, and add ons! They truly are the best neighbors a little girl with big dreams could ever ask for!

We got married at The Arlo and couldnt have asked for a more beautiful venue! The pictures online dont even do The Arlo justice - it is even more stunning in person. We were lucky to book the last date available in February 2024 and Im so glad we did. I can see why this venue gets booked out so far in advance! The Arlo is hands down one of my favorite Austin area venues. As a wedding photographer in ATX, Ive seen a lot of venues and here is what I love about The Arlo: 1. Massive bridal suite with storage compartments for luggage and private dressing rooms 2. Massive grooms suite (guys deserve space too!) 3. Modern design (Texas has way too many barns) 4. The Arlo is built on a hill so it maximizes your sunlight = more photos

I was inquiring about wedding at the Arlo before i was even engaged. And once we toured the space, we knew there was no where else we could get married. It s so elegant and modern and classic. And there is so much space at the Arlo you have a perfect combination of where to have ceremony, cocktail or reception. And the bridal suite was the beautiful and most spacious room I ve ever seen. They even have a grooms cottage tucked away that was perfect for my husband to try and relax before walking down the aisle. Jeannie was so through during our tour and Melony was so helpful in making adjustments to our needs and timeline leading up.

From the day I got engaged (well probably even before) I knew The Arlo would be where we got married. They book out pretty far, but for good reason, and trust me it s worth the wait! Everything was seamless and they were super easy to work with and had great communication. The venue even having as many events weekly as they do, looked perfect and as if we were the first to ever get married there. The venue itself is so versatile with some many options of spaces to utilize, and the biggest thing a rain option for the ceremony. Their bridal and grooms suites are the best in the game in my opinion. So spacious and so modern with everything you could need. The staff was all wonderful as well. They were accommodating and the wedding day went off without a hitch. Highly recommend The Arlo!!!!

I can t say enough about The Arlo. The location, the beautiful grounds- great pictures ops, the facility is stunning and the staff is AMAZING !!!!! Our daughter was married at the Arlo in early September. We had 160 guests plus multiple vendors for food, bar and drinks, furniture, music, etc. The spacious, well air-conditioned Arlo easily fit them all with plenty of room to spare for dancing in the ballroom and drinks and gatherings in the main dining room and on the front and back lawns. The Arlo was a beautiful, modern and open setting indoors and out for the wedding and beforehand. There is an excellent separate house for the groom and his party to hang out and get ready while the Arlo main building has a large space, lockers, fridge, counter and seating for the bride and her friends to party and get hair and makeup done. All in all we could not have asked for a better place for her wedding! We highly recommend the Arlo for anyone seeking a great forum for a wedding or any other memorable event!!

When searching for a venue it was difficult to find somewhere that was almost a blank space with such a classic and chic touch, and before even stepping foot inside, I knew The Arlo was the one. If you want to get married in Austin the Arlo is by far an incredible place to do it. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive to every little detail. From our first visit to the Arlo, I absolutely fell in love and knew this is where we had to have our wedding. This venue is breathtakingly beautiful and so versatile. We had the ceremony outdoors near the fire place, the cocktail hour inside of Storie hall, and the reception in the beautiful reception ballroom. The bridal suite and groom s cottage are an absolute dream and getting ready there really made the day all the more special for us and our wedding party. The venue comes with tables and chairs, all of which beautifully fit the vibe of any event and you can rent a beautiful bar for a fee as well. Working with Jeannie and Melony was great- they answered all of my questions in a timely manner and were wonderful to work with overall. I am an out of town bride and they really made planning the wedding from a different state very seamless because of the ease of communication and overall great organization they have. This is the most incredible venue with such professional, easy to work with staff. We just had our wedding there this June and the layout provided such a great space for our guests to move throughout for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. It truly embodies a Texas vibe in the most sophisticated way. Our guests cannot stop talking about how much they loved the views and architecture of the Arlo. Our only complaint is the acoustics in the main ballroom tend to get a bit loud and echo, but other than that it was absolutely perfect. Thank you Arlo team for a magical day!

This venue is a gem, with beautiful views, professional staff that is supportive and helped us every step of the way - both before our wedding day and on our wedding day. The amenities it offers are also second to none, every single one of our guests was impressed and in love with their space - from the Bridal Suite, Grooms cottage, Storie Hall chapel room and outdoor patios. We went to tour multiple venues in one day - and The Arlo was first on our list - and after walking the grounds we cancelled all other tours and booked that same day. My niece got married this weekend. I m giving 4 stars because while the setting was BEAUTIFUL, & the staff beyond any expectation; the ACOUSTICS in the place sucked (we couldn t hear when we needed to OR the crowd was to loud from nothing buffering the walls/high ceilings) & the CHAIRS (I couldn t walk for 2 days after sitting in them). The only other complaint may have nothing to do w/ Arlo, the bar servers were using napkins from some other wedding party.

Every single detail of this venue was well thought out and made for a perfect wedding day. My husband and I had our wedding here in mid April and could not recommend this place enough. Not only is it stunning but the amenities make you feel so classy getting ready for your big day. The cozy fireplace in the bridal suite made us feel so cozy. Communication was great with Melony and Jeannie and it is not too far from downtown Austin that our guests felt like they couldn t go. Our guests could not stop taking pictures of the gorgeous land. Would recommend to all future brides looking for a modern elegant venue in the countryside.

It s a gorgeous spot with many options. Very happy with entire venue. The communications were quick and all questions answered promptly. They do have many requirements to insure a well organized and smooth event. The facility itself is a great choice for a wedding with a great plan B inside in case of bad weather. The Arlo is I don t have any other way to put it. When my husband and I got engaged, the first thing we did was look for venues. We did a youtube search and The Arlo was the first venue to pop up. We instantly fell in love with the location, design and the overall vibe. We scheduled a tour and met Melony and she is such a gem! We let her know this was our very first venue tour and she shared so much excitement with us. We appreciated her honesty, as she told us to tour a few more venues cause we never knew if there was something else out there. My husband and I took four or five more tours that week & The Arlo still remained our number one choice. We went back a week later & out our deposit down! Melony and her team are amazing! The Arlo was the perfect venue for our daughters wedding reception. It is an elegant, sophisticated, modern white and glass building which sits up on a lovely hill country piece of land surrounded by Texas oak trees. The venue was specifically designed with weddings in mind with lots of giant windows to enjoy the beautiful views and allow lots of natural light inside. Everything from the stunning black and white bathrooms to the wonderful oversized industrial kitchen was designed for the perfect party. All of our vendors were thrilled to hear our event was at The Arlo as they love working in this space. Melony, the venue manager, was knowledgeable and easy to work with as well. The Arlo is such a stunning venue and well thought out. It was perfect for the modern wedding vision we had. When we started shopping for venues in Austin we came across a lot of different styles and we were really searching for a modern aesthetic which was a little difficult to find. We were wow d by this venue and luckily they had the perfect date for us available for 10/15/22. Some of the details we loved were the bridal and groom suites. This was perfect to accommodate our large bridal party and so comfortable with all the amenities offered. The large white walls and chandelier were perfect for a blank slate and to decorate as you wish. The staircase was such a great addition to the venue. We were able to do a beautiful send off with big dog pyro on the staircase! The Arlo has other areas that could be used as a plan B for ceremony and/or cocktail hour, which made me feel at ease. Melony was also a pleasure to work with. She was always responsive and let us do multiple tours with our immediate family members without any hesitations. She was there on the day of and made sure things went smoothly. We can not thank Melony and the staff at the Arlo enough for helping us make this big decision and being a part of our big day! From having adequate restrooms, a vendor room, large getting ready spaces, stunning indoor/outdoor spaces (perfect incase of adverse weather!!), outlets everywhere.. you name it - its covered! I absolutely cannot recommend The Arlo enough! From the beautiful venue, the spectacular views and the incredible people you ll get to work with, it s truly perfect. My husband and I booked our wedding date (August 2022) at the Arlo back in May of 2021 before they had even had their first wedding. We were blown away by the venue and the views, and Melony basically sold us right away on it. She was our main point of contact throughout the next 15 months of wedding planning, and was always extremely responsive and supportive in her communication. Everything from the tour, visiting the venue a few more times to show different family members, the months of planning, the walkthrough, my bridal portraits, the rehearsal, and of course the wedding day, went absolutely perfectly, and I know The Arlo played a huge role in that. By the time we finalized wedding details, we ended up booking two extra hours (for an early entry) and rented the bar the venue offers as well. One thing that really stuck out to me during the planning process was how kind and considerate Melony and her team were to my mom and family members. She made sure to include my mom in all email communication as I had requested, always asked her how things were going from a mom s perspective, and more. For me, that made all the difference.

This review is as a banquet facility, not a wedding venue. The location is lovely. Beautiful sunset, bright and clean facility. Clean white walls and high ceilings. Very, very nice. The same high clean walls and windows made for unbearable acoustics. It was difficult to hear conversations at the table, even if the person was in the next chair. Any use of the sound system made that worse. At one point the auctioneer tried to just shout to the crowd. I believe that the low bidding had more to do with the inability of those to hear than the economy. I hope that the Arlo is able to install some kind of buffering to allow banquets to succeed in this fine place.

The Arlo was a perfect venue for our daughters October 2022 wedding of 150 guests. Our awesome wedding planner Jamie Martin from Uptown Events suggested The Arlo to us. No other venue on our list even came close to having what we desired. The Arlo is a new, contemporary blank slate thoughtfully designed with great amenities. Being blank is both negative & positive. Almost everything except tables & chairs needed to be outsourced which raised costs. However, the blank positive is we were able to make it uniquely our own- a huge plus which set this wedding apart from any other weve attended. Our fabulous floral vendor Stems took advantage of the empty canvas to realize the bride & grooms extraordinary vision. Brilliant photographer Esther Makau was able to capture the magic because lighting and photography site lines are terrific indoors & out. Personal features include a huge, deluxe bridal suite where getting ready was comfortably done with ease. The separate grooms cottage has the amenities of a man-cave. We used all of the site starting with the outdoor fireplace area for the vow blessing. Bridal party pet pup Bea loved rolling on the fake turf and human heels didnt sink into the ground. Our mariachi band led guests from the vow blessing to cocktails & paused to perform on the grand outdoor staircase overlooking the lovely view. We used the front lawn & adjacent room for cocktails & main hall for dinner & dancing. Back of house & other nitty gritty details are well designed, too. Our great caterer, SoHo easily executed & served our sit-down dinner from the terrific prep area. And our fabulous dance band Uptown Drive also had everything needed including ample outlets throughout the for their supplemental up-lighting to enhance the romantic setting. Best of all, The Arlo staff was extremely responsive and helpful every step of the way. Were so glad we chose The Arlo. Thank you all!

When we first came across The Arlo in summer of 2021, I immediately knew it was the perfect wedding venue for me! I was stuck between Canyonwood Ridge (also a beautiful venue) and The Arlo, but what really sold me on The Arlo was the modern white/black look with the gorgeous floor to ceiling windows and the HUGE bridal suite! I also liked that the groomsmen got their own separate house for a suite. The venue is stunning and has so many beautiful photo opportunities, and the staff are great to work with. Since we decided to book over a year out, there was plenty of steady and quick communication. If I ever had any questions, concerns, or needed any updates, Melony was quick to respond. We had no problem booking and paying the fees, and the day-of our event (Oct. 2, 2022) ran so smoothly and perfectly, and the sneak peek photos from our photographer are so stunning! Truly a gorgeous venue that brings in a fresh look and more modern flair than other hill country venues. Also located conveniently in an area with hotels and restaurants and other things to do. All of our guests were so impressed with and loved the venue!

Mattie and I got married at the Arlo on August 27th, 2022. We had 170 guests and the space felt perfect for that size. She had 10 bridemaids, and I had 9 groomsmen. The Bridal Suite & Grooms cabin provided great space for getting ready before the wedding. The indoor ceremony hall had plenty of space for our guests, a spacious aisle, and for our bridal party to stand. Overall, the venue is an amazing place to have your special day, and the sunset falls perfectly in the middle of the reception hall windows. We had a Saturday wedding at the Arlo, and the cleaning crew failed to properly clean the outdoor patio. When I met my husband for the first look on the lawn, the train of my dress was immediately covered in dirt that had been on the patio floor. My dress was ruined before I even walked down the aisle. For $10k+, they should properly clean and power wash the outdoor spaces. On a positive note, I did really enjoy the bridal suite.

When we first toured The Arlo in the summer 2021, it was brand new. We fell in love with it immediately. There are too many gorgeous hill country venues to count, but The Arlo offers something different from the rest. Rather than the more industrial or farmhouse-chic vibes that most venues outside of Austin have, The Arlo is a simple, elegant blank canvas. Its such a versatile space, you can really transform it into any aesthetic and experience you want. A few things we especially loved: The grounds are beautiful. Large and small oak trees, a little hilly, stunning sunset views, and its all very accessible with paved paths and turfed courtyard and ceremony spaces. Its designed to accommodate both indoor and outdoor ceremonies, which is fantastic for rain plans. The bridal suite and grooms cabin are both SO NICE, definitely the best ones of all the venues we toured. En-suite full bathrooms, cubbies and closets galore, plenty of changing space, kitchen areas, and a huge hair and makeup bar in the bridal suite -- beautiful, inviting spaces for our wedding party to spend the entire day. Theres also a large parking lot, so any guests who opt not to Uber or shuttle to the venue dont have to stress about parking. The staff was fantastic to work with. They were quick to respond to emails and very accommodating when we wanted to come by to give family members a tour or think through floor plans. And you definitely get what you pay for. Their rental rate was a bit higher or on par with other hill country venues we toured, but thanks to the huge, beautiful bridal suite and an entirely separate cabin for the guys, we were able to spend the whole day there. Plus, the restrooms were SO NICE, and the backstage area for vendors was the best we saw, so we really feel we got our moneys worth all around. And our photos!! Like something from a magazine. Every single backdrop was stunning. It truly was our dream wedding. Couldnt have picked a better venue.

What a magical place to hold a wedding. We held ours there in early April and it was everything you hoped an early spring wedding would be. Perfect weather along with the gorgeous landscaping on the property beginning to blossom. The hill country sunset was as dramatic as it was stunning. I cannot say enough good things about this venue. My husband and I fell in love with the Arlo as soon as we laid eyes on it! We had our fairytale wedding here about 2 weeks ago and I am still daydreaming about it constantly! Not only was the day literally perfect but so was every moment leading up to it. Melony and her staff are beyond accommodating and helpful. They truly want to make your day the most special for you in any way that they can. Seriously, some of the nicest and sweetest people I have ever met. On top of the venue itself being jaw- droppingly stunning, The Arlo provided a beautiful and comfortable bridal and grooms suite for us to get ready in, and a list of recommended vendors in the beginning to make our planning easier. They also provide tables and chairs which is a huge plus! We had a 240 guest wedding and the space was more than enough for people to comfortably sit down for dinner, dance on the dance floor, and mingle around the property with all the indoor/outdoor options you could ever want for your guests. We have received so many compliments from our guests about our venue choice. Most of them saying it is one of the nicest weddings they have ever been to and will be hard to top! The Arlo is a magnificent venue. The property was perfect for a February wedding with much cooler weather. The ceremony was inside in the beautiful room with big windows and majestic ceiling beams. The reception was just in the next room with plenty of room for our family and friends. The staff was so on top of every detail of my daughters wedding. This may sound cliché, but I absolutely couldn t have picked a better venue for my wedding! I first discovered the venue on Instagram in the beginning of the year through a Photographer I follow. When I saw the pictures I immediately knew I had to fly to Texas to see it in person. Melony was a key player in my planning process since I was planning my wedding from Florida because I wanted to come home (Texas) to get married. If youre looking for a venue that has the beauty of the hill country, a modern feel, and something thats within Austin city limits book now. A few highlights: Melony Rodwell, our onsite contact, was exceeding helpful and kind throughout. She is a wedding vendor herself, and this venue team has thought about absolutely everything you and you vendors will need day of to make your wedding special. The black and white details and hill country sunset make this venue a photographers dream -- my pictures are INCREDIBLE -- timeless but minimal and modern, too. Finally the insanely gorgeous bridal suite and spacious grooms cottage are unmatched we looked at a TON of venues. The suites really made this venue a place where our entire family and all our friends could hang out all day and share in our excitement while we got ready. I cant recommend The Arlo highly enough! From first reaching out to booking and on, Melony has been incredibly kind and responsive. The venue itself is breathtaking -- it is modern and elegant without sacrificing a bit of warmth. Each piece of the property has so much heart and thought behind it. I am so grateful I found The Arlo for my wedding day!

This is the most beautiful event venue in the Austin area. The grounds are a photographers delight and the buildings have the most modern conveniences. The layout is just awesome and complete down to every detail. The staff is very easy to work with and I have enjoyed every minute of my time there. Its just breathtaking.

The Arlo is the very best in Austin event venues. From the moment you pass the front gate to the time you leave the experience truly is second to none. Super professional staff. Beautifully manicured grounds. And the spaces are incredibly nice and immaculate. Love the hill country views too!
