The reason why I put one star the owner very rude and when I was trying to bring bottle water they told me I couldn t bring it knowing damn well it s very hot outside and there bar was not open yet to sell me one.

We live in the apartments next to this place. Theres always gun shots ringing out almost every weekend. I have 3 small children, their bedroom window faces this ballroom. This evening, about 8 or 9 shots rang out, it sounded like one hit the wall next to our window. Then a huge crowd comes outside, and they are very rowdy, yelling, getting in their cars driving wreck less. Then, about 10 more gun shots. Then more..its scary. Stray bullets are a thing. They have no name on it. Theres always loud noise, rowdy kids, cars screeching, doing donuts out there. The weekends are so loud. I heard the lady who lives below me calling the establishment tonight and it didnt seem to bother the owners. It just doesnt seem like a safe place to hold any parties. Im all for a good time..but this aint it.

Its a terrible place for a venue. The owner has too many regulations and restrictions. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone who lives near South Austin who is planning on coming events at this location.

These people kill the vibe of having any meaningful event held here. They regulate every single item brought in so that you are forced to use their overpriced concessions. To offset this, its BYOL...great, awesome. So when everyone is nice and tanked and you need to hail an uber youre SOL because there is no cell service out in the boonies. Good luck. Just overall a big bummer. Trust these reviews they really are accurate. God bless.

I had my wedding reception here a few months ago, I just forgot to leave my one star review. Just read all of the other one star reviews from 6 or 7 months ago and you ll see what it s really like to have an event here. You d be better off having your reception at the local precinct with how they ll treat you. Also, Connie, I don t know who paid you but stop lying

Great place. I had read the reviews before attending a wedding here yesterday and was worried about how the event would be handled. But Im thrilled to say it went smoothly, the bride and groom had a beautiful night to cherish. We were allowed to bring in our liquor, no one checked purses. No one took my water bottle I had brought in. We were served tea with our meal that didnt need to be purchased. The place is definitely not the Four Seasons but Im sure it wasnt as costly as one either. Clean, well kept and great service from the staff. I would recommend this place!!! One small thing, I twisted my ankle because there were several little rocks in the parking lot. Nothing terrible but maybe just sweep up out there for us ladies wearing heels after over a year of not having to!!!!

The owners are very easy to work with. I had to reschedule the event due to covid more than twice. Daniel was very flexible and understanding of the situation. I do appreciate all there hard work and dedication to help their customers. I would definitely use the place again and highly recommend H&H Ballroom :) Thank you Daniel

Checked guests purses as they came in. Would not let us bring in wine for our toasts to the bride and groom even though they only sold beer and wine. Would not let us serve our tea to our guests with dinner. When guests decided they would not buy alcohol from them they retaliated by taking coffee bar out. They were very rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this facility. I actually would like to give them a -5 stars.

Attended a wedding in for a family member, the bride and groom had it pre arranged to serve wine they brought and purchased enough for toasts. The night of the wedding, they would not allow them to serve their wine, they took the water jug so people had to buy water from them, they made them put the tea that was out up so people had to buy from them as well as making them take down the coffee and cake bar set up. Very poor professionalism and management, especially to change all of this the night of someone s wedding. Stay as far away as possible for your special event.

Shady place, I was at a wedding here and they search guests.... didn t know this was a prom. You would think that is the worst ... nope. They took away the water for guests so guest would buy drinks from them. I would never advise anyone to book here. The owner is like a hawk and over bearing. Pass pass pass on this place, if you want your guests to have a memorable moment on your celebrations , this is not the place.

Would give no stars if possible. I attended a sweet 15 here recently and the staff here are so rude! And after over hearing the manger speak to the renters I see where they get it from! The restrooms need repairs to both sinks and stalls. As much as this place charges and is always busy why cant they afford a decent driveway, nice parking lot, and free water for guests that were unaware of you outside food and drink policy. DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANY EVENT WAY OVER PRICED AND BAD SERVICE!!

Its clean and spacious, But the staff here is rude. I would not recommend moving anything. Cause they well come and tell you to move it back. If a couple who rented your building is paying for the reception. Why does it matter if you move a table. As long as we put it back. Where we found it. Interesting.....
