I ordered 3 steak street tacos (basic) Meat was bland, no seasoning at all and very fatty. I only had a few bites before I threw them out. I got them to go, but the girl was nice as far as service goes. Been on the hunt for good Mexican food in Killleen for awhile, sadly this place was another disappointment.

We happen to drive through the area on our way back home from San Antonio and found this place after we had a bad experience in another local taqueria a few minutes from this. I am glad we found them! The place was nice and clean. The ladies were really welcoming and guided us through the order process. The service was great! We also LOVED the bread from the bakery!! It s so soft and delicious. Reminds me of the panaderías from Mexico. Definitely recommend this place if you need somewhere to eat!!

I couldnt eat the Al Pastor tacos fast enough. The flavors were incredible, with perfectly seasoned pork and fresh toppings. Highly recommend for a quick and tasty meal. The salsa was outstanding.

This is my GO-TO place for street tacos. They have a special on Tuesdays that is amazing. The location is cozy and lively. Come get something delicious. MY favorite is the Mex Plate with nopalitos. Kid-friendliness: They have an ice cream bar in the back of the restaurant. NEED I say More!

When you see other reviews mention the portion size, believe that. I m not a fan of places that you order at the counter and they ask for a tip, but that is my personal preference. Today, I was given my glass of water and my food was brought to me. No follow up service or refills. So, to me that doesn t warrant a tip. For the food. I ordered fajitas beef and chicken. The presentation was nice with the hot sizzling skillet. But the meat itself had no flavor or seasoning. I was given 3 corn tortillas and barely enough meat to make the 3 tacos. Even the taco salsas didn t add much to the flavor. The charro beans were actually very good and flavorful. Overall, nothing that has me planning to return.

The food was fresh for pick up. Spent about $68 including a $5 tip. 20 small tacos, shrimp cocktail, tres leches, chips n salsa. Tacos were adequate, good amount of meat. Flavor was eh. The shrimp cocktail that was like $11 contained maybe 5 shrimp cut into thirds and put in a huge 16oz cup of cocktail sauce. Cocktail sauce wasn t bad. Tres leches was eh, had better from HEB. Salsa was tiny compared to amount of chips given. I liked the atmosphere when I went in to pick up, was helped fairly quickly and the order was accurate. Mad about the $11 for 5 shrimp. Personally would not eat here again. We usually eat at El Taco Jalisco that is directly across Henderson. But ya gotta try new things. I would recommend trying this place as you may like it more than I and my spouse did.

What Mexican restaurant doesnt know the difference between Street Tacos and Carne Guisada tacos? I asked the lady three times as she was ringing up my order because I could see it on the screen if she understood what I wanted, I got Street Tacos and they didnt even give me the hard taco that I paid for. Pico is $1.25 for basically the small cup you get for salsa. Called, the lady on the phone was okay but not helpful. They sell ice cream but by the looks of that area I wouldnt touch it, uncovered and half melted.

The employees were nice, and my food was ready in 10 mins. However, the meat was tough, and the salsa and queso have no spice at all. I enjoy spicy Mexican food, and this was not it. If you re looking for lots of spice and flavor, this is not the place. I ordered the birria tacos, salsa, queso, chips, and an elote cup. The elote was not good either. Best Mexican restaurant in the Killeen area, Ive been to this place many times and have never left dissatisfied. The inside is very inviting and has an authentic Mexican asthethic. Theres a lot of seating inside and you get complementary chips and salsa when you dine in. The employees are friendly. Its always packed during lunch due to the soldiers from the base nearby so I dont recommend stopping by if you dont have the time. Although the wait time isnt bad even when its packed. The food is delicious I especially recommend their street tacos. They have almost every type of meat for their tacos with birria and chorizo and theyre usually always in stock. Ordered from DoorDash. I asked for a tres leches and a chocoflan. Asked for the freshest one. Asked to cancel if they didn t have it. They decided to just give me 3 tres leches instead. Didn t add my taco de asada that I was charged for. The Birria tacos are just salty no authentic flavor. The salsas are watered down. The Arroz was bland. Just bland awful food. I m a Mexican from Mexico, I love my Tex Mex, which is what this is attempting to be I m a cook myself. I know good food This place is a No go, not from a delivery service. Might be better in person in the AM. I know how some restaurants rush at the end of the night. It was night time when I ordered & after spending my day sick at the hospital I didn t feel like cooking. So disappointed. Will never order from here again. Or doordash.

Have gone there twice now and got the Carne and Chicken street tacos. Some of the most authentic around and so good. Comes with a side of grilled onions that were perfect on them. The price was right too, because it only came to around 7 dollars. The guys I was with had great things to say about their burritos, I will probably do that next time. Just know if you go around lunch on a weekday, it will be 90% Soldiers eating in there and be pretty busy. That didnt really affect the length of our wait.

Ordered 6 steak street tacos, with 3 sides of Pico, and 2 guacamole. Didnt realize how small they were. Bout a ping pong balls worth of guacamole for $3.50?? The tacos tasted how I expected so I cant complain there. But next time Ill buy my Pico and guacamole from HEB. The sauces they included (only tried the green, as the red ones are normally spicier than I want) and the green sauce had no flavor. I cant say if it was truly bland, because some flavors never came back after covid. But I tasted nothing. The tacos were good though.

Best customer service I ve had in a while! Everyone was super kind and attentive! When I had a small issue with my order (out of fault of my own) they fixed it right away with a smile and were super nice about it. I would recommend 10/10. I loved the tacos!!!

The best birria tacos in the city. The customer service is great and the restrooms are surprisingly clean! Weve gone several times since Ive learned of this location and plan to go again very soon!
