I cannot fathom why this place STILL has 4.5 stars .My husband and I went here in 2022 and saw mostly positive reviews which drew us in. The appeal of this place also obviously being the mystery of it. Once you get there, it s a HUGE disappointment. It s a pre-recorded video asking you to say certain things and playing with a basket of plastic fruit. We could have had cheaper fun in our own living room. Steer clear of this place and don t waste your time and money.

Just. No. There is nothing particularly artful or thoughtful about this. My friend and I felt traumatized afterwards - it was *that* painful to get through. A screen yells at you for most of the time. Its obnoxious, boring, and nothing about it is thought-provoking, surprising, or truly connecting. It may be silly and fun if youre a 4-yr old?

The experience is about the equivalent of putting a quirky YouTube video on a 70 inch TV and watching it with a friend. The Eureka room is not worth $25. To sum it up, you will watch a video, give your group some high fives, scream yes at the screen, and sort plastic fruit into bowls while saying thank you a hundred times. Thats really it. No Eureka moments like the title entails unfortunately.

This was an interesting artistic experiment. It s a fun idea for a small friend-group or a date night for people who want to be silly for a little while. However, the execution did not meet my expectations. I would not recommend this for a first date as the experience lends itself to a variety of awkward moments.

This is the epitome of a lazy cash grab disguised as quirky and goofy. Its $25 to pretend that youre a bird, put plastic fruit in bowls, and pump your fist on command. I went with a professional comedian and even she couldnt make this an enjoyable experience. That said, if youre 6 yrs old or severely under the influence then you might enjoy this.

I rarely leave reviews for anything, but I am very motivated to leave a cautionary review here. This experience gave very culty vibes from the start. The best part of the hour was getting to know the other participants before going into the interactive room. Once in Eureka room, you are led through a series of activities that promote a hive-mind mentality without any promotion of creative game-play. The instructions for each game were so ridiculous that I m sure we re meant to make participants laugh yet also felt like manipulation tactics hiding in plain sight. $25? Save your money. Now that they have my email address, I m curious to see what garbage offers will come my way.

The Eureka Room is a breathtaking, immersive experience that ingeniously merges art and technology. As you step into this dynamic, personalized space, youre transported into a realm of colors, light, and sound, creating a symphony of emotions that simultaneously soothes and excites. The combination of augmented and virtual reality invites exploration, triggering eureka moments of discovery that remind us of the wonder and curiosity often lost in our digital age. Its a one-of-a-kind artistic marvel that pushes the boundaries of experiential art and is an absolute must-visit for all.

NO SPOILERS I really struggled with this place. I am pretty silly, always been called weird my whole life, and I love absurd humor. But this just was not it for me. Without spoiling anything, this very much had the same kind of energy as a early internet ebaum s world type of viral video from the early 2000s. Which I found hilarious when I was in middle school and love for nostalgia s sake, but that stuff doesn t hold up well 20 years later. There were 2 main activities. I enjoyed both at first, but they both got old fast. Each activity involved very simple (albeit absurd) steps, repeating steps over and over and over, going on wayyyy too long. If the activities were shorter, and there were more than these 2 very basic activities, I may have had more fun. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because I loved how queer this place was, suuuuper queer friendly. People are allowed to be themselves here which I really appreciate. Also warning if you have any physical disabilities that make standing for more than a few minutes uncomfortable and painful, this is NOT for you. You stand for 1 hour in a small enclosed space with a total of 8 people.

As long as your not like a stuffy super type B personality youll have a fun time. This is good quick fun - plane and simple. If you dont walk out in a better mood then you went in Its probably more a you thing then the experience. If youre looking for a picasso this aint it. But if you want a 45 minute fun totally different activity and you can bring an open mind and a possitive attitude and you know how to possitively interact with other humans youll have a great time. Keep it in context. This is 45 mins... its like 25 bucks... its something to do, its different, maybe a little weird, but fun, and a good time... in my opinion theres a bit of a (for lack of a better explanation) inside joke to 80s babies going on here. If you grew up in the 80s or 90s and youre someone who can go with the flow a bit and just get into it youll have a great time. My wife and I definitely thought it was great. Highly recommend.

The uncertainty of the experience is what peaked mine and my husband s curiosity. I ll help out with the uncertainty for other people. We left the event early due to realizing our money was wasted within 5 minutes. If you like high fiving strangers and seeing dell screen savers go across a wall then you might enjoy this. I left feeling defeated and unmotivated to do anything else the rest of the evening. It was not immersive or a unique bonding experience.

If you re reading this review you ve already put more effort into researching this activity than the creators put into making it. Sadly, this was a regrettable use of time and money. I ve done immersive art experiences in the past and like supporting funky local businesses . But it s hard to describe this other than dumb. It was really boring, and even when trying to see it as artistic I couldn t see really any merit to it. About 30 min into this my group and I realized the mistake we made.

There was a lot of hype for what essentially is standing in a tiny room with flashing lights and a video. We went in with all the hype we could muster, but not even that was enough. Even the strangers we went with lost hope of something more fun after the twenty five minute mark. I am an immersive experience enthusiast and can confidently say this one is worth missing. As stated in previous comments, this experience is definitely not for everyone. The mystery of it all is what attracted my friends and I to book the $25+ tax ticket. We traveled from Houston and thought this would be a fun and interesting activity for us. The owner is very nice and sweet and I am sure has a passion for this concept, however this was the BIGGEST waste of money we have ever had. The interactive activities were things I would do with my Pre-Kindergarten aged kids as a teacher. The website states this is for 16 years of age and up but it was childish and honestly I believe ages 5 -12 would get a better kick out of it than teens and adults. All of the four activities were things I could do at home watching a YouTube video. We were extremely disappointed! My recommendation is to take away the mystery and be upfront with what the experiences are like so that you can attract the right crowds. This was extremely overpriced! A movie ticket is a better deal than this. PS - We did not receive MAXIUMUM PSYCH!!!

I attended this as part of a company off-site, and as the Eureka room demands, no one really knew what we were getting into. We had a private session booked for the 8 of us. I will say it worked very well as a team-bonding experience, as we all talked about it for the rest of the evening, and Im sure well continue to reference in-jokes from the experience. The attendant (I forgot her name, sorry - I know the creator of the Eureka room is Mike, and we were hosted by a woman) was very nice, she made sure to offer any accommodations people might need such as chairs, she made sure everyone was comfortable with the temperature. That said, the actual Eureka room experience is probably about twice as long as it needs to be, for the same experience / effect. Each of the segments of the experience started to drag on, and I really felt they could have been cut to 75% of the time, or even half the time, and I would have enjoyed it more. The other folks in my group agreed when I suggested that feedback. Were asked not to spoil the actual experience, so I wont reveal any more on that part. I like supporting small and local artists, and I would have been happy to buy something in the gift shop, but there was only shirts. I think this would have been a great opportunity to feature work from other local artists for sale, or have more small items referencing the Eureka room experience (a poster, stickers, a notebook, etc) - otherwise I would suggest scrapping the gift shop part because it felt weird with such a limited selection of items, just like it was an afterthought.

I m from Phoenix and was looking for something interesting to do that wasn t just a bar/typical nightlife. Found this on google and decided to give it a shot. I went alone but need up chatting it up with the other participants before the program began. The experience itself was colorful, goofy, humorous and engaging. Definitely worth a visit!

Very cool, unique experience. Traveling alone and socially awkward haha and yet had an absolute blast with 5 strangers. Highly recommend to singles, couples, groups etc for fun or bonding. Sounds silly, but the experience totally promotes synergy

I was completely baffled by this experience. I have no idea why anyone would give this a five star. It s terrible. If you do need to go I suggest you take psychedelics before. That may be the only way you can endure it. The owner, however, was lovely.
