Very very very over priced!!! You know chicken rice and beans very cheap and here at this place...you get very little....really $5.00 for 1 leg quarter!!!! Rice not good....beans all in pieces...potatoe salad no flavor!!!! Really...18.00 for a 3 meat.....barely get any sides...servers very very stingy!!!!

Staff was friendly for sure, but waited much too long for a burrito and then didnt enjoy it very much either unfortunately. Smoke in the bbq had stomach turning all day after. Cool idea with the burritos, but the flavors didnt blend very well. Maybe it was an off day.

I loved the food! The potatoe salad was it was the best I have ever ever had I dream I m in a tub filled with it lol but the food was delicious. It s a cute mom and pop shop. Very friendly people. Family oriented is the best! It was amazing!

If I could give it 6 s I definitely would...I saw a video on tik-tok about it and I went as soon as I could...I took my mother and she asked for original bb-q sauce and the owner himself Javier whipped her some up real quick. I got the beef rib plate with 2 slices of brisket added and I got exactly what I wanted. Amy our server was awesome and very helpful. She had great recommendations and a positive attitude. Thank you all the staff. I saw a review that mentioned small portions and I totally disagree as a matter of fact I couldnt finish my beans or rice and the ribs were huge. I will definitely be a regular here...

Great experience during this bbq visit. Great pricing for the delicious meal served and their dessert cheesecake items are legit. I would still prefer a little more meat on my bones, but overall, no complaints, and the service was excellent despite the large crowd.

The service is really good. Everybody is very friendly and talkative. They will offer you recommendations, but I don t think that the food is worth the cost. The brisket was very greasy, the rice and potato portions are very small.

First time there, called in n inquired about the menu. The person that answered explained that the plate for two included 3 or 4 beef ribs, chicken n brisket and sides. We paid $44.00 n got 2 beef ribs, two drumsticks, 1 thigh , brisket n sides. Barely enough for 1 n the plate was for two. Food was good. The clerk or waiter that answered the phone, promised a lot n delivered a little. Too expensive probably never go back.

Place is very expensive for the small amount of food they serve. I wondered why it was lunch hr and the place was completely empty.I usually wouldnt mind paying when food is tasty, food was cold and served in small portions. Sweet tea and lemonade is powdered and tasted awful. We asked for chips and salsa and it was ridiculously and funny at the same time that the server brought us two chips and salsa bowl with no salsa in it. The ugly part was at the end, charged us 70$ for two plates and those awful drinks. Never again! Now i understand why they dont have people at the rush hour.

This place....is very expensive, I understand everything went up, but this restaurant has always served there plates w/very little food!! There chicken look like, they are ANOREXIA, its a money steal!! They serve your plate like if they where feeding a 5 Year old child! It seems to me... Everything is served with a mini scoop of ice cream! My first order was a $10.00 plate. The portions where Small. Then my 2nd time, I ordered $15.00 plate. OMG it was worse then the 1st time. The only thing, I saw more was French fries. Ive been to others restaurants & they serve there plates reasonable amount of food. Not like if they are feeding a child. Well this restaurant doesnt know how to serve there customers. Plus theres times they have a long face, wow everything is wrong in this place. Today was my last time going there, Never again!! my extended family and friends. They also have complained about it!! And have stop ordering from Roys. now me too. We rather go all the way to Alamo tx, or Weslaco tx.sorry, Roy your food is good, but very small amount for the price!!

Excellent BBQ, we had the brisket plate and the stuffed baked potato, carry out, pictures attached. We thoroughly enjoyed both dishes. Smoker was going and the smell was great. Not that big of a place inside and the menu is mostly limited to BBQ items. If you want BBQ highly recommend Uncle Roys.

Picked up some fund raiser plates I purchased from a friend. Had never been here but I want to come back. Plate had a large leg quarter potato salad rice and beans (one onion and one jalapeño but no one is here for that) chicken was very moist (I had to use about 5 napkins no cap) I wish it had a bit more smoke flavor but it was amazing. The potato salad was fresh needed some salt.. I still give it an A. Rice had something in it that kept me wanting more. The beans were typical but great with this rice. I now want to try some more of their food.

I went to Uncle Roys just to find out its a scam restaurant, if you order a quarter leg chicken plate, well thats what you expect to get right a quarter leg chicken, but Instead I got something that I have never seen before!! Heres what they do here: Uncle Roy cuts thighs in half and put a half thigh and a leg only in every plate instead of a quarter leg chicken making it perhaps a kids meal!! So disappointed of this place and worst of all still hungry, LOL! First and last time here!! You are not my favorite uncle no more!

Good brisket & sausage. I havent tried the chicken yet, but the brisket was soft & great tasting. Good food, BIG prices, small portion though. I paid over $11 for 2 brisket tacos. Not filling at all. You get more for $9.99 at Reynas BBQ in Weslaco when ordering the trinity sandwich. Brisket, Sausage, Chicken with Mac & Cheese all in one sandwich. Roys BBQ has to do much better with what they give you for the price you pay.

Uncle Roy s bbq is the best bbq in The Valley so far! The #1 combo has brisket, chicken, and sausage. Plate comes with rice, beans, potato salad and the usual pickles, jalapeños and onions for 13$ and change. Very good, y all need to try this place. Employees are very nice and helpful. Great place to eat and enjoy.

The combo plate was not very good at all. The combo plate contains brisket, chicken and sausage. The brisket was somewhat smoked, but without any seasoning or flavor. The sausage looked and tasted like they went to the local HEB grocery store and grabbed a link sausage and put it on the grill. Now the chicken was the best meat on the plate but was still lacking in flavor/seasoning and the $13.95 price tag was disgraceful for the quality of the food.
