Oh my gosh! I had never been to Santa Rita. My director treated me to lunch. I ordered the tortilla soup. I asked the waiter about the sizes. He described the large bowl as the size of his face. I laughed at it and was going to get a small, but my director told me to get it and take the rest home. It was so goodI I ATE ALL OF IT!! OUTSTANDING TASTE AND FLAVOR! Go get yours today!!

I ve been here multiple times (maybe 5) as we work close by. The food and drinks aren t bad. But everytime we get an unpleasant server that generally seems displeased to deal with any table they have. They come back once every 15 minutes maybe. And while this isn t enough to leave a review I actually caught the staff stealing. I have noticed the auto gratuity 20% even on as small as a table of 4. You could say that itself is gifting something unearned but it goes further. Last time I just left it as is, no extra tip on the 20%. When I checked my credit card statement the server had not only taken the 20% he gifted himself, but he added $50 to the tip on top of it thinking he wouldn t get caught. Highly advise checking your statements after coming here and I will not be coming back.

I decided to test out this place while I was in the area and wasnt disappointed. I ordered the chilaquiles, combo fajitas, and was really satisfied. The portion size was welcomed and the serive was great. Tyr salsas were spicy but manageable with water a draft beer. Haha

Love coming to this place for happy hour. It s cute and they still give you free chips and salsa which makes me super happy. A lot of trendy Mexican restaurants don t give you complementary chips and salsa which tells me they re just out to get your money. The staff here is great too, they really work for that tip GPSing here is a little confusing, if you map to the frost bank right next to it it ll at least take you to the correct parking lot.

Leaving a review to speak to the parking lot management this restaurant employs. Having suffered from a car crash near this restaurants location, I pulled into the lot to address the damage and make the necessary phone calls. In the four minutes I was away from my car, my front wheel was booted, and the attendee expressed that the lot policy entailed no exceptions for visitors not soliciting the business. A message to the owners: please look elsewhere for your parking lot business! Parking: The lot is managed by Bitlocks, a company notorious for questionably ethical business practices. Said organization has removed its review system and reviews online due to its predatory business model and negative experiences- do not work with them.

My food was less than appetizing, Ordered entree that had two cheese enchiladas and a chicken taco, the enchiladas had a 1/2 inch of thick white cheese, barely melted, and no flavor in the light sauce on top. Too much cheese doesn t normally sound like a complaint but this was Not Good. The chicken taco was not brought out, I had to ask the waiter about it, he apologized, went to get it and forgot it again, it was delivered with the check, cold soggy and the boiled chicken had the cartilage knuckles in it, I brought it home to my pup . I won t be returning.

I used to work here about 15 years ago. Since then, it appears to have lost some of what I liked about it. I ordered a chicken fajita salad and it came out with about 5 little pieces of chicken, cheese, Pico, and guacamole. There werent any peppers or onions which I was looking forward to. Other than that, the building seems pretty shabby. A lot of the decor has changed or just been removed, but the tables lean, nails are exposed, and everything just looks like its barely holding on. 10 out of 10 on staff, everyone was extremely friendly and attentive. I guess I still miss it!

Great vibe. Mexican meets art school. Chips are fresh, and salsa is addicting. The black beans and charro beans are the best weve ever had. Chulupas are a great choice if you are craving some crisp veggies. Mine was topped with lettuce shaved carrots and a beautifully balanced guacamole! The portion size was Texas Size, 2 to a plate. Great happy hour offerings, and when the weather is nice they have a large outdoor area in the front and back. Would have hive 5 stars but the flautuas were too dry the chicken was overcooked.

Wanted to treat myself to a nice dinner and cocktail. I was really dissapointed. I ordered the Tex Mex beef enchiladas, but the enchilada was over powered with chilli sauce to the point where you couldnt actually taste the meat or the cheese. Had no flavor at all. Then I ordered a Mexican martini, but I sent it back because it was extremely sour. I asked the waitress for a margarita on the rocks. When I received that drink, it was very tart with no sweetness. I ended up leaving everything there. I would of been able to stand the food if that drink was good, but tart sour drinks wasnt what I was looking for. :( sorry guys. This place is a little hidden from view and we found it by accident. We were pleasantly surprised. The service was fantastic, fast & friendly. The salsa has a little kick, but it is made in house daily and is so delicious! The migas on brunch (any style) are popping with flavor and the chips in them stay krisp throught the meal, not soggy or soft like other restaurants. I could eat a bowl of their awesome charro beans with a piece of cornbread for a full meal. So glad we stumbled upon this hidden gem. Vegetarian options: They offered grilled vegetables as one of the sides, rice, charo beans to name a few.

Ive been visiting this location nearly fifty years, since back in the days it was Los Tres Bobos. Theyre never gonna win a James Beard award, but they are a solid choice for everyday Tex-Mex dining and drinks. The ADA ramp in the parking lot had a small step you have to traverse to get to the restaurant. My shrimps were not deveined and they were also undercooked. The hot sauce wasnt hot. All the employees are amazing. I can t state that with more truth they were all so helpful and amazing. The food and drinks are tasty as well. However, the owner is god awful and tries to take an active management role and does not understand how a restaurant works. He is rude, disgusting and overall abominable. I find it hard to allow my money to go into his pockets. I do not know his name but shame on him. Awful owner and I truly hope for the sake of this place that it changes soon.

Worst enchiladas I ve ever had! The shrimp taste extremely fishy and gamey. And they looked as if they had been made in a microwave, with a film across the top of the cheese and sauce. Seriously, I would trust Taco Bell to make a better tasting AND looking enchilada than this. Not only was the food disgusting, but when presented with the bill, they tried to charge me more $$ than what was advertised on their menu. And all this comes after I waited 10mins to be seated, and they seated a couple that had just walked in before seating me after my wait! And when we confronted the waitress about the terrible presentation of the food, she got an attitude and claimed that we should just order something else.. PLEASE - if you are a Mexican restaurant and can t make an ENCHILADA right, why on earth would I want to try anything else off your menu? 1 star because the chips and salsa were pretty good. Everything else about this establishment was trash. Do better.

Great place for lunch! I really liked the fish tacos, though the menu is slightly confusing -- dont order the plate option if you want rice + beans. Go for the full option. Other than that, it was clean, the service was excellent and everything was reasonably priced.

Okay so the spend per person on our group was mostly our bar tab. The food is very affordable, well truth be told so are the drinks, we just had a few because none of us had to drive! The top shelf margaritas on the rocks are amazing and after two or three not so sure I could still reach the top shelf.
