I must share my experience with the wonderful staff at Bemis, Roach and Reed in Austin, Texas. My husband did some research looking for a disability law firm to help me with my SSI denial. The whole process of attempting to apply for Social Security Disability is very daunting! From the moment I called the offices of Bemis, Roach and Reed I was treated with dignity and respect! I had so many questions and they answered them all! My Case Manager was Amber. She guided me through the process (which is very lengthy through no fault of theirs!), explained what she needed from me and together we got through the appeals process. Make no mistake, if you listen, do what they request in a timely manner and keep them informed, they will do everything they can to get you the outcome you want and need. Ive had a great experience working with Bemis, Roach & Reed for my disability case. I spent two years fighting on my own, with no clue the exact help I needed was a search away until I was informed to look for a disability lawyer. Right away, sending in questions was a breeze, and from the moment my case was accepted, everything became a major weight off my shoulders. My newest appeal was filed for me, my medical records and case history sorted for me, and I could finally focus on my appointments and treatment with a little less worry. My late husband started his appeal on his disability case in Sept 2021 with Bemis, Roach, & Reed. From day one we were greeted with a dynamic professionalism, and customer service by Mary I. I will not provide full names in my review out of respect for each employee. However if you were at the firm during this time please know that I am grateful for you all. Mr. Roach was our attorney and he didnt skip a beat. The process was grueling fighting disability while my husband was fighting for his life. I was a successful business owner, one day woke up and my life changed forever. After several months, lots of fear I was diagnosed with incurable autoimmune diseases. Over and over I would hear about SSDI, but never thought that would be a fit for me. After a few years, treatments were not working, I decided it was time to make the call. We retained BRR Law back in early 2019 to assist us in my sons application for Social Security Disability benefits. This is a very laborious and tedious process, and our family lawyer recommended BRR because of their expertise. And I am so happy to have gotten the recommendation. I cant say enough about this law firm. From the very first call until my SSDI approval Eva Hernandez and her entire team were more helpful than I could have every imagined. Sure, I was fortunate to have all of my medical records accessible from the Veterans Medical Centers in Boise and Austin. Greg and Monica are the dynamic duo for getting someone through the arduous process of applying for and finally succeeding at receiving a judgement in your favor for SSDI. Dont try to do this yourself. Hire Greg and Monica, it is so worth it and will likely increase your chances of having a good outcome. I know of three people who had run-ins with SSDI and all were rejected. Two sought out help from an attorney, and one is still alive today and still receiving SSDI, the other after trying by himself for two years and failing and then another year and a half with a lawyer, got his first SSDI payment three weeks before he died at 56 years old. The third person initially was approved for SSDI at age 40, but was then denied at age 45, he didnt even fight the decision, lost family property to debt because of medical bills and died at 63. Life is too short not to hire Greg and Monica to help you through if you find yourself dealt some bad cards and are no longer able to work.

Well i called them before i went to social security and they said that as soon as i got my denial litter they would help so i got the litter and sent it to them 2 days no answer no response nothing so i emailed them never got a reply or a call to tell me anything so i call them turns out they were ignoring me because they didnt want to take my case they were accepted social security reasons for denial and said that i had no hope of winning and they never saw me either so instead of helping me they decided not to because my case was not good enough for them

I wanted the very best attorney that had extensive experience. After getting denied at the Initial Stage, I did not hesitate to make an appointment with Mr. Reed. He listened to my situation and then told me truthfully, Yes, we have a case. He or his assistant was available via email or phone which was very wonderful when I had questions. Gregg Reed impressed my family when we first meet. I felt that God had given me the right choice to pick Mr. Reed out of others . I was seeking before. After sitting with him and talking about my case, I had that feeling that Mr. Reed was going to get me out of that hole and provide to me my Disability I was fighting for since I was Diagnosed To be Disable due to my back Injury I Suffer from a job injury. After suffering a debilitating work injury I was left with no choice to reach out for help. I personally filed for disability 4 times and was denied each and every time. Things became more than tough for my family and I given the amount of pain I have to live with . I had no choice but to apply again. The only difference this time was my decision to hire an attorney. Definitely recommend. I actually never even had to go into their office, except once to drop of paperwork (very nice office space by the way), and they helped me understand the whole process and helped me appeal my case twice and were willing to go that extra mile needed to help me if I had to go to court, which I did not. I got their referral from my doctors secretary which gave them a very high recommendation because her family members had just had a positive experience with them also. You can really count on them. I am very impressed by Bemis, Roach and Reed. Theyve been very professional, courteous, and are very knowledgeable and successful in what they do. I applied for Social Security (SSDI and SSI) but was turned down. I hired this law firm for the appeal, and they not only won it quickly, but I got the maximum back pay on both SSDI and SSI allowed by law. A social worker at the hospital where I was couldnt believe it when I showed her the letters Social Security sent me about what my benefits would be. I called the law firm, she wanted to speak and the first thing she said into the phone is in all the years shes dealt with Social Security, shes never seen a case go through with the maximum back pay on both SSDI and SSI, and this quickly. I highly recommend the Bemis, Roach & Reed Law Firm to anyone who has been denied Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI). Mr. Bemis was very knowledgeable and helpful with his insight and experience in dealing with the SSDI. He reviewed my claim, interviewed me and represented me with the appeals judge. Mr. Bemis was able to get me a fully favorable finding within 6 months of initial contact. Before that time (and without the law firms assistance) the SSDI office had denied my claim for 2 and a half years. I am located in San Antonio and could not find a nearby law firm that seemed reliable. So, I had to looked towards Austin to find them and I am very glad I did. Looking back I should have hired Mr. Bemis as soon as possible. It would have saved me years of frustration with the SSDI office. Many thanks to his law firm including Ms. Claudia Perez.

I could not have navigated through the complexities and endless requirements for medical records had I not obtained the services of BRR. In particular, Greg Reed represented me, along with several outstanding and responsive paralegals (Craig and Monica). Having been denied twice for written applications for SSD, I was encouraged by the positive optimism by Gregg that I had a good shot at obtaining an appeal, and ultimately a chance at presenting my case in person to a administrative law judge. In retrospect, had I not used the services of BRR, I would have just given up after the two initial denials. Getting back to the hearing, it lasted about 1 hour, and to my great surprise, the judge approved my SSD request at the end of the hearing. Another very important aspect of working with BRR, is that they gathered, compiled and uploaded all my medical records necessary for my hearing. This approval has lifted a great burden from my shoulders, and many stressful days from my life and my family. I highly recommend the services of BRR for representing anyone seeking disability benefits. Without a doubt, this is a long bureaucratic process, and getting representation from BRR was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Mr. Bemis and his incredible staff ( Trisha Wilson & Claudia Perez ) supported me from the very beginning. Mr. Bemis spent 1 hr on the phone with me and another 1 hr in person. Mr. Reed informed me up front that I had a difficult case, but he believed in it. After my hearing, he was very excited and we were expecting a favorable decision. Once decision came in and it was unfavorable, I reached out to Mr. Reed for further assistance with an appeal. A few days later, I received a letter stating that he was breaking contract with me. Its unfortunate to have someone shake your hand and inform you that they believe in your case and that things look great, only for them to kick you to the curb the moment something goes wrong.
