Follow the Google map to site. Parking are limited. Follow the path to the top. Once on top you can follow path on the right down and there are several more spots where you can take the photos but no rails or stairs. You will need to be able to climb rocky path and down. I would recommend wearing closed toe shoes and go during the day. I think its worth the hike and place is definitely a hidden gem.

The views are nice, the trails is neat, but criminals use this spot to bust into your car and steal your belongings even if you have nothing valuable inside. Beware of someone wearing dark clothes who uses children to scout for opportunities. He waits inside a black vehicle and has two little girls with him. Police report filed. Ended up having to pay for new glass. Such petty crimes.

This is a fantastic spot with breathtaking scenery. Although reaching the viewpoint requires some effort, especially on hot days, the stunning views make it well worth it if you appreciate nature. From the top, you can see boats, sailors, and the bustling bridge traffic, all of which look amazing. I highly recommend this as a must-visit for anyone coming to Austin who loves natural beauty.

Beware of the thieves there. You will definately get robbed. They are professionals and will be done by 5 minutes. We got robbed and our cars window got smashed. All our belongings were taken away and police too was unresponsive to our incident. We do not recommend this place at all even though the view was good.

This place has great views, but I was disappointed with how much litter was everywhere. For me, it really took away from the experience. I went back the following weekend to try and clean some of it up, but I only made a small dent. Please throw away your trash correctly so we can keep this Austin classic looking good!

A decent place to watch the sunset. It can get a bit crowded and the parking can become scarce in seconds. You won t be able to escape the sound of cars zipping by but it s proximity to the city makes it an easy stop.

Free and no tickets needed. A little bit of a hike, but people were doing it with strollers and small kids. We had an elderly person in our party who did the short hike with relative ease, just bring the right shoes because it s not always even and there are a couple steep spots. Be aware parking is along the shoulder to a busy highway.

Great place for a small hike. They have opened up the fence so you can now go further back, about a mile and there are some tricky hills if you want to take them. There is a little graffiti on the rocks and some trash on the trail. This is a great spot for pictures as it is just up the hill that overlooks the bridge and river.

A small trek to the top of a cliff. You immediately walk up to a beautiful view of the river and the bridge. There is a small trail along side the cliff which makes for a beautiful morning walk. It s a great place to visit with plenty of parking space and small stalls for refreshments. Would recommend you go early in the morning or evening.

Visited in Jan 2024 in the morning. There are two ways climb/walk to view this beautiful scenic spot. One way needs more climbing on limestones. The other has bit rugged trail. Expect to spend about 20-45 minutes if you are not in a rush. I saw police car parked outside when I arrived. As an outsider to Texas, I didn t know cars are broken in this place. Fortunately I didn t have any bad experience.
