Loved their Blackened Shrimp and Chicken Pasta, the sauce had a kick in it which I loved, the chicken and shrimp were cooked perfectly. My husband loved the Ruby Trout as well. The Cover 3 Salad was good too. Our server was very polite and warm. We will definitely go back to try their other dishes.

Nice, spacious and clean interior. Friendly staff and drinks were good. They have an outdoor seating area but its all high tops. I had a chicken fried chicken and hubby had the chicken fried steak. We also had a side of mac and cheese. Chicken frieds were both really yummy. It comes with green Chile gravy but dont worry, its not spicy, just flavorful. Mac and cheese was good, nothing special though. We also got the Big Ole Brownie and it is indeed big, also yummy! Would definitely come back!

Lunch on a Thursday. Service was good, food was meh. Had Buffalo Chicken Sliders and there was way too much Bleu Cheese on them. A little scraping and a dip in the ranch made them better. Wife had Beef Tenderloin Sliders and they were way overdone (she ordered medium). Fries were ok but were lukewarm so as I ate them they cooled to the point that they werent good. So, overall, lunch was OK but wont be back.

After touring multiple venues w/ my fiancé & coordinator on Saturday, we needed a good meal, Cover 3 did not disappoint! Tierra, our server, was attentive w/o being overbearing as well as the MOD who was visible & helping her team, something I appreciate as a fellow restaurant worker. The peach cake is ABSOLUTELY delicious & a must-eat if you enjoy Peaches! Well be back to enjoy more food, Thank You for the delicious food & attentive service!! Update: I am back again because I love this place. It is my most favorite Austin escape for a wonderful time either during the day or the evening or the night. The service from Eislee has been fantastic, checking on me on a regular basis, and the Manager, Jonny, has been awesome by coming over to my table and periodically checking how things are. Also Austin, a new Manager, stopped by my table too to introduce himself and to speak to me for a few minutes. I had the Allendale Salad, Matts Chili, the House Margherita and the Key Lime Pie and they are all so delicious. I wholeheartedly recommend all out there to come check out this place. They have such a wonderful array of menu selections that should make you happy too. The atmosphere here is also unbeatable. Cover 3 Anderson Lane is just the best. ************************************** My sisters and I had dinner in Warrens section of the restaurant and he was so very helpful with the menu selections and the food service. Jonathan, the Assistant General Manager, was so kind as to visit our table and chat for a few minutes. The food and drinks were so delicious. I had the Allendale Salad and it was so so good as was the House Margarita. With it being Christmastime I just loved how the restaurant was decorated. It was so festive looking. I will be back again and wholeheartedly recommend to everyone, if you want a wonderful dining experience, to come to Cover 3 - Anderson Lane. Our food took approximately 30 minutes to get out, which is a long time for fish tacos, and prime rib Ajou sandwich. I had mahi-mahi tacos, which were delicious. My wife had the prime rib Ajou sandwich, which was sub par. The quality of the meat was poor and cooked too much. Flavor was good. Very poor cut of meat for a $25 sandwich, compared to the prime rib au jus at Bartletts just a block away. At Bartlett s their prime rib sandwich is a perfect 10 because they use top cut of prime rib and it s cooked rare as it should be. Our waiter was abysmal. Total flat affect no interaction with us whatsoever. Never checked back to see if we needed anything until five minutes before the end of the mea. Won t be back for quite a while! Instead, we will go to Bartletts, where the food is always delicious, and the service is always outstanding. Second time we ve had issues with long wait for our food at Cover 3 and poor service.

We had an amazing dinner last night there. Jonathan van Sas and Warren were amazing with attention to every detail. We met several of the management and staff and they were all committed to providing excellent food and service. This is while they were entertaining two group parties and they made everything seamless And lovely. They are a great team, and the restaurant was decorated beautifully. What you need to know: Has upstairs meeting room by stairs only with sofas and seating. Has meeting room tucked behind the bar as well which is where I was seated for a realtor training event with big screen TV option, super fast stable wifi you ask for the password to access from the staff, and was clean tables thru out with tvs everywhere streaming sports. Chicken Verde quesadilla with ships, queso, sauce, and guacamole was phenomenal! Customer service was also on top of it here and a pleasure to work with. Our waitress went above and beyond to make sure all our drinks and food orders were accurate, on time quick, and very welcoming Also phenomenal 5 star fancy restrooms like the kind you find at hotel except for the hand soap which was simple plastic bottle generic brand but did not break out my hands in a rash or anything. All in all people were coming here to co fuct meetings inside, outside, or at any of the many tables, with bar with many alcoholic options. Again getting to either meeting room if handicap is going to be a pain, food prices are average, food was greater portions for the price on what I ordered, and is shared parking with many other businesses so keep that in mind getting here

God, I hate sports, but everything else about this place is just about perfect... for what it is. Weve been coming here since they opened and will continue. Not haut-cuisine but the food is solid comfort foods really well prepared. They still know how to fry things properly when that seems a vanishing art. Service. This is a sport bar that has been open a long time, so it will on occasion seem a little disorganized. Last visit was perfection, however. Little details I noticed tell me they are paying attention, staying relaxed, having fun, but getting the job done. Friendly, but not rowdy. A little loud when a local team is on, but never an occasion where inappropriate for kids. Drinks are a little on the sweet side, as youd expect, but well prepared and consistent. Sports are easy to ignore, though that may be a negative for some. Hope you support them, so we dont lose another old Austin restaurant.

Love this place! We went for the first time after buying a voucher from Costco. We did not think much of it and had never tried Cover 3. Our first visit was incredible food was so good including appetizer and entrees and environment was very soothing and comforting. Fast forward we visited another time and were yet again blown away by this restaurant s amazing food and service. Would definitely recommend the chili, pasta, nachos, and truffle burger. We love this place and will be our go to for now on. Definitely recommend if you are contemplating a visit, do it!

Have been to this location and Cover 2 off Research Blvd multiple times and have never had problems. Went here last night ordered a burger with two patties, and about half way through the burger realized the the top patty was completely raw in the middle. Service was slow and the waitress had 0 personality and talked so low I couldnt understand her. We have been before for lunch it was great. So we will not be back for dinner several wait staff just standing around not waiting on customers.

Ordered to-go nachos over the phone today, the young woman we spoke to was a total gem. She was very helpful with our many nacho requests and even double checked them in front of us. I wish we had gotten her name. The nachos are so good shredding the chicken and beef is a delicious touch. 5 stars

Don t know what happened to this place, but it s less than ideal. Food is not great, half of the wait staff are severe addicts. Expect to wait and have them ask to sit with you while they find your items on the ordering device. It s an awkward experience and the formerly packed establishment seems very tired.

We hosted a private event in the private dinning room on the main level of the restaurant. The staff were fantastic and very helpful. The private event space had ample room for the guests and they allowed us to decorate the space. The food was delicious, as always! We will certainly book another event here again!

Excellent Vegetarian Options! My husband and I love Cover 3 and keep coming back here for the tasty vegetarian options on their menu. The salads are always delicious, with really high quality ingredients. The MacnCheese is some of the best in town. They now also do black bean tacos with lots of nice, crunchy vegetables. We dont normally get dessert, but James -- the wonderful, polite, efficient manager -- recently led us into temptation with a slice of chocolate chip cheesecake which was sinfully good. The staff here are always friendly and cheerful. And the prices? Very, very reasonable, especially taking into account the quality of their kitchen! Thanks you, James & Cover 3!

Once upon a time, you could get tuna tataki here, now its like Applebees fare. Menu went way downhill, and whats left isnt prepared well either. Driest grilled chicken Ive ever had.
