I m writing this review a year later, and it s because I havent forgotten the experience I had with the Austin Photo Truck. I still use my headshots on my IMDb profile and my social media (which I see every day). How could I not? They re so good! But about the experience- not that I ve ever really felt uneasy in front of the camera, but the word comfortable definitely captures the experience in the Photo Truck! The space itself puts you at ease immediately and has you feeling less self-conscious once you enter the studio. Fellow actors, you may have options in Austin and central Texas when it comes to photographers, but the Photo Truck is the place you want. You ll come out with stellar shots thatll land you more roles--and also thatll make your agent happy (which, as we know, is most important in this business).

Great for ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY HEADSHOTS! Before finding this photographer, it felt like there were two options: 1. Reasonably priced photographers who had no idea what a talent headshot was supposed to look like (pretty photos of people from weddings or in front of a bougainvillea bush for their real estate agency is NOT the same as what is expected by talent agencies and casting directors). 2. People who knew what they were doing but charged obscene prices. Like, yall, who TF is a struggling actor in this economy that can drop $500+ on TWO PHOTOS? For 45 minutes of their time? Absolutely not. Professional, affordable, and skilled. Will definitely be returning.

I am SO GLAD I found Austin Photo Truck! Im not a photogenic person and have struggled over the years to find a high quality yet reasonably priced photographer for my headshots... until now. Chris is an excellent photographer and really helped me feel comfortable. He also gave me good feedback throughout the session so I could get my hair, posture, and expression just right. The truck is comfortable, artsy and cool (total Austin-vibe). He also gets the lighting and background perfect and has screens inside the truck where you can see your images right away. He can fit the requirements of any headshot specs needed for a company website. Super fast turn around and extremely quick responses when I needed tweaks to my images that he had already turned around to me. I will definitely use Austin Photo Truck for all of my future headshots. Highly recommend!

First let me tell you how Chris was able to make the impossible happen! I ve never taken professional photos and he made it such an amazing experience, that I want to book future shoots as well! The setup is PHENOMENAL, he gives great instructions, and if Chris ever wanted to become a confidence coach..he could! I was beyond nervous and all of that melted away. I recently went to Chris to have photos taken for my new company badge. He has a way of putting you at ease and drawing out your most relaxed, authentic self. Within 15 minutes, hed captured amazing photos. When he was finished, we looked at all of the photos and critiqued them until I chose my favorites.The results were amazing. Instead of walking away with just a photo for my badge, I left with photos that are now the face of my LinkedIn and other social media. Such a fun experience! Youre basically hanging out in a cozy little living room on wheels, talking and sharing stories with Chris, and then about 15 minutes later, he tells you your photos look amazing. The photo truck is one of the most unique and special experiences I have brought to events and corporate functions recently. Not only is it new and fun, but each person walks away with legitimate photos from one of the very best in the business. My company had been following Chris photography career and his work for the state of Texas for some time. We were excited when he first announced the new project.
