I normally go here quite often. However, they closed early when they arent supposed to after I had placed a mobile order. The people who closed early was closing shift on September 6th. I arrived 20 prior to closing after making a mobile order 20 before closing.

Third time this month I went through the drive-through at around 9:30pm and was told they were already closed. Employee was very short on the intercom as well. Pulled up to the window and the lady looked at me and just walked off. Another lady pointed to me showing the manager I was their and she just walked off as well. Tonight we were told at 9:40 their computers were down and they could not take any orders. Go figure.

I just drove through the drive thru and no one waited on me. Couldn t order any food. The restaurant is open and all employees are doing nothing but standing around in the lobby. At this location within a few minutes, I decided this was not a place I wanted to eat: cook was on his cellphone ( hands not clean), young lady at the window pulled up her pants...skin showing ( she didnt wash her hands), young man that was sitting up front in the restaurant went behind the counter to take my order and didnt wash his hands. For a clean safe experience, I will go 3 miles to another chicken place where they wear gloves, speak, and at least appear to be clean.

The workers wanted to play and talk .I ordered some food and just because they didnt have macaroni and cheese so he told me to call the people and let them know they dont have macaroni and cheese who Im supposed to call. They were out of what I wanted. When I got there, my mobile order should have been ready, but they hadnt started making it yet. They asked me if I had a GrubHub order, and I said I ordered from the (Popeyes) app and she told me thats what shes talking about. Went up to the register and was told theyre in the middle of shift change, and I needed to wait. They were arguing in front of the guests, and it only looked like 1 or 2 were actually working. Employees were rude, unprofessional, and slow. The food was okay, but it wasnt what I wanted. I wont be going here for a while, and hopefully, by then, theyll have a change in management.

Drive to local Popeye s after church. Kind of odd that there is no line. Didn t take long to understand why. My husband places his order no problem. Then I place my order for some signature hot wings, I am told they are out of wings, plural not singular. How is it possible that you advertise on your menu six flavors of wings, and you have none. No ghost pepper, no signature hot, no honey bbq, no roasted chicken parmesan, and no sweet & spicy wings. WOW. Ok so I ordered my old faithful 2 spicy all white with cajun fries. But cant have my biscuit without the honey so I place an order for honey .what no honey, are you kidding me? This is exactly what I am thinking at that moment. But still with a smile on our faces, after all we just got back from praising the Lord .(smiles) we then ask for two cinnamon apple pies .nope they don t have those either hmmm .ok how about two oreo cheesecake ..nope no can do, no cheesecake either. I will leave with this there are a few restaurants I have vowed to never return to ..I left thinking why in the world would I come to this restaurant again. This reminded me of the time we went to Walmart and they had no bags, and we went to Wendy s and they had no meat .wonder if any of these establishments have ever heard of a SIGN to display what they are out of. I wonder if there is such a thing as a rushed inventory order. Oh well at least the food was warm and fresh. We can also appreciate the 93% health inspection because we have been in some real dumps of Popeyes in the South. But still a disappointment.

There was 2 woman in front of me. Instead of taking each persons order, they would take on ladies order and then prepare and box it up and then would take the next persons order. It took them 15 minutes just to take our order!! We almost left but we decided to stay since we were already there. Once we ordered, it took them 25 minutes to make 2 chicken sandwiches. When I went to get my soda, it smelled awful there! This is the second time this happens. The team lead along with the other workers were all talking to each other with no sense of urgency just taking their sweet time. I would love corporate to reimburse me for this visit. The restaurant was dirty, the employees were very unorganized and unkempt and not very welcoming. I ordered classic chicken tenders along with red beans and rice for takeout. Once I was at home and started eating the chicken tenders, I immediately noticed the tenders were rubbery and cold, and the red beans and rice were cold. This restaurant has continued to turn out quality food and service. I will no longer be making any purchases at this particular Popeyes

I m only giving it a 1 star cause I have to, it ll actually be none. There s always a 15 min to 30 min wait which is ironic cause they never have menu items. Every time you go there s a list of things they don t have. The things they do have when you get it you realize the food is old. I give them a five star for the young man working the drive thru! We don t always tip but this young man genuinely cares about his customers and apologizes for any wait you have and always make sure everything is in our order. I give it to this location though they are always slammed but they manage to get people in & out as fast as their fryers will let them. I read the other reviews and honestly I don t get why people are so rude because they know they will be waiting on that line again just like most people in this area of town. They obviously are doing something right because everybody keeps going back. Although I am sure those that are complaining have obviously never worked in the food service business. We all should appreciate that these people are coming in to work and making food since know one seems to want to work these days.Especially to work in a place that stays slammed with business for your entire shift! This Popeyes has been getting worse and worse with every visit. I have had my fair share of problems with this Popeyes, however these last few weeks has been the worst and needless to say, I will never go to this Popeyes again. 3 weeks ago, I went into this establishment and ordered a 12 piece spicy, chicken only, as well as 4 strawberry biscuits. After driving home, about 30 something minutes away, I settled in and prepared to eat my food, only to find out that my strawberry biscuits, were regular, biscuits, that could have doubled as weapons or hockey pucks. Then I started to eat my chicken. I noticed that the chicken was tough around the bone of the 2 pieces of chicken I had. I didnt eat them. I gave them to my dog. My daughter took some of the chicken with her to work that night and she told me her chicken was tough and raw. I called and spoke with the manager and she was willing to replace it without a problem. I went in a few days later for my replacement early one evening. There was a lot of chicken fried, however, they didnt have any spicy chicken fried. They were eventually going to fry some, but it would take 20 minutes and that was time that I did not have. A week later, I went to Popeyes to finally have this mess up rectified. They had the spicy chicken, but I did notice that a lady ordered a 16 piece mild of which they did not have enough pieces to complete her order. One thing I gathered is that management is severely lacking. In addition to getting my re-order, I added on a large macaroni and cheese, a large red beans and rice, and a large coleslaw. Drove home over 30 minutes, as I live in the country, made it home and noticed my red beans and rice was more like a full cup of rice and 2 tablespoons of beans. I didnt eat any red beans and rice, however, my husband did. He went back for seconds and upon opening the red beans and rice, he noticed they smelled funny. He asked me to smell them and they were spoiled. My daughter took some to work with her again and I have no way of notifying her that the food is spoiled. I pray she smells it or doesnt get sick if she eats it. I am not sure if it even makes sense to call and make a complaint. I dont think it will help. I will just refuse to patronize this Popeyes again. Then again, I may call corporate. They are going to make someone sick or kill someone.

Ordered a 2pc mild dark with fries & 3pc dark mild with red beans & rice & coleslaw. Got home & had (2) 2 pc dark (1) mild (1) with 1 pc spicy 1pc mild. Tried calling the store but couldnt get an answer & after working 2 jobs from 5A-8:45P I didnt have it in me to go back so literally I donated $21 to Popeyes. I couldnt locate my receipt so Im not sure if she gave it to me or not. I love Popeyes. Actually the only chicken Ill eat but the services of fixing orders correctly isnt what it use to be. Husband went last week, ordered basically the same thing & came home with 1 leg 1 breast which looked old. Cmon Popeyes lets do better with fixing orders correctly. There is probably no fast food restaurant with a greater chasm between the taste of the food and quality of the service than Popeyes. Every once in a blue moon, I get a craving for their fantastic fries and/or their incredibly tasty chicken (including the relatively new chicken sandwiches). Then I act upon my impulse to get Popeyes and am immediately reminded of why I dont often eat Popeyes. I have never seen a fast food chain so consistently refuse to operate with any degree of efficiency or decency. Sometimes, its just mediocre, but usually the service and atmosphere of the restaurant is best described by terms such as widely chaotic, grossly unorganized, and abysmally slow. Unfortunately, the particular Popeyes near my home is one of the worst I have seen. The service quality here ranges instead from terrible to maddening. Last night, I got one of my irrational urges and decided to try ordering with the mobile app, which I recently decided to download in hopes that utilizing it would simplify and expediate getting food from Popeyes (as well as maybe even provide some additional perks in the way of points and rewards). I figured that I would receive a fairly liberal estimate for when my food would be ready once ordered on the app, but I was very surprised when, after finishing my order, I was given a time nearly thirty minutes in the future. Not a big deal though; I would just do a couple of things and then proceed to the restaurant. I arrived at this Popeyes yesterday evening at the quoted time and waited about five minutes before even being greeted. Then it was nearly ten more minutes before I finally got my food which I had ordered about forty-five minutes earlier. The order, shockingly, was essentially accurate. However, of course, the sandwiches were barely hot, and the fries were both lukewarm and only half-full. I would have addressed the issues regarding the fries had the cashier not handed me my food and run off. In summary, yes, the food at Popeyes is delicious (when its still hot), but unless you enjoy waiting insanely long times to get what you want and are entertained by madhouses of chaos and incompetence, I would recommend staying away from Popeyes generally, and certainly dont come of the Popeyes on Phelan Boulevard in Beaumont, Texas.

OK it was an interesting experience to say. Every one seemed kinda all over the place But they got the order out in fairly good time. The cashier was taken the orders knocking them out but they wernt getting to the cooks and they manager had to keep asking every one what they had and it just seemd like a mess but they did get the order our after checking with us a few times ro see what it was we had ordered. They were friendly

This Popeyes location needs some help the food and the customer service is horrible. I am a fan of Popeyes, but after two visits to this location, I will not return!! It s obviously bad management, this was evident to me during my visit when I observed the manager taking fries and chicken out of a box after it was prepared for a customer and returning it to the serving line, soo gross ! The manager was more concerned with her phone then her customers or employees, and it showed in the food quality, the chicken was soggy, the biscuits were old, and the fries were gross, they also forgot part of my order. Overall it was a bad experience!!

There is a lack of communication between drive-thru attendant and kitchen. We ordered 6 piece nuggets and upon arrival to the window was told they were out of nuggets. We also ordered a 8 piece family meal with Mac and cheese. We did not realize until we got home they we only received 6 pieces we were missing both the legs and the Mac and cheese was only half full.

Love the food, Hate the wait!!!! Placed a regular family size order on the mobile app. Arrived 10 minutes later and was asked to pull to the side. No problem, right? Well, 40 minutes later and I was still waiting. Went inside to check on it. 10 minutes later I finally get the food. This was the worst Popeyes Ive ever been to. Nothing but a bunch of lazy kids with no work ethic. Waited 20+ minutes for 2 chicken sandwiches that I never got so I got my money back with a free blackberry cheesecake pie and left. I feel sorry for the manager of all those useless kids. She was having to tell one of them that he couldnt be sitting in the lobby while there was work to be done. she was having to tell the kids to work at their job? Dont you go to your job for work?Corporate needs to update their staff.. I will never go there again.
