Johnny photographed my son for his first professional head shot a couple of years ago. The photo was fantastic and helped my son land his first post-grad position. I recently hired Johnny to do an updated portrait for my LinkedIn profile. He is very knowledgeable about lighting, setting and all aspects of portrait photography to create a photo that reflects your very best self!! Johnny made the photo session easy to fit into a busy schedule and produced a high quality, flattering portrait at an extremely reasonable price. I look forward to hiring Johnny in the future for a family portrait or other photography needs.

I have used a lot of photogs since I landed in Austin just more than 20 years ago. Originally I met Mr. Stevens while looking for a film production company. We engaged his firm for our first Austin production and it proved to be a great decision. We worked with his firm for broadcast programming for almost 20 years. He sold that firm and began to focus on his commercial photography, which has proved to be a solid choice. We have engaged his firm for work in Austin, Houston, Phoenix, So. Cal, Washington D.C. and elsewhere. The best thing about having his firm as our remote brand ambassador is we dont have to travel with him to assure we get images that reflect our brand. I was looking for a photographer for a family photo and found Johnny online. I didnt think that most of the other sites with wedding photos would be really relevant to what I was looking for. I liked Johnnys portfolio of family pictures. I also figured that since he had heavy commercial experience, he would be a pro. I figured correctly. He did a great job on an extended family of 11 in an outdoor setting. He was also great to work with, very easy-going and flexible. His wife also helped out at the shoot, coaxing cooperation from 4 grandkids under 5. I thought I might have to resort to serious bribery but didnt have to. Finally, his prices were very reasonable. I really appreciate his efforts and the results and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Johnny took pictures for my two short term rental houses. First, and most important, the quality of Johnnys work is EXCEPTIONAL. The way he selected the angles, lighting, composition created remarkable images well above my highest expectations. Also, he is very friendly and pleasant to work with, did the job quickly and thoroughly, returning several times to take pictures in daylight, twilight, using a drone, ... Highly recommended.

Johnny was very friendly and flexible throughout the process and let us choose our locations where we wanted our photos taken. We took professional headshots with his setup and some casual shots outside. His equipment is top notch, and he produces the highest quality of photos. Im very satisfied with the results!

My husband and I chose Johnny Stevens as our wedding photographer. To sum up Johnny at our wedding in two words: calming professionalism. This being our first experience with weddings, we felt overwhelmed with managing the never-ending minutiae. All of our friends told us to expect disastrous last-minute catastrophes. While some aspects of the wedding were chaotic, Johnny was a calming presence in the midst of the storm. He delicately balanced between knowing which shots would look good (he s the professional after all) and asking for our input (it was nice to feel like our opinion was valued). He shot our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception, and we couldn t be more thrilled with the pictures he captured, which he turned around to us within a week. The pictures ranged from the standard family and wedding party shots, to fun candids of all of our friends dancing and celebrating. We were so happy to share them with all of our guests. Most importantly, he made us feel completely at ease on our special night. To demonstrate Johnny s professionalism and personalized level of care, I would like to share an anecdote: we had told him that we wanted to get shots of the wedding party before the ceremony at a nearby park. The day of the ceremony was unusually hot for the time of the year, so we panicked and decided to switch to an interior location at the last minute. The staff at our hotel told us that there were no locations which we could use for our photos. Unbeknownst to us, however, Johnny had befriended the hotel management on the previous day, and they were able to open up a beautiful space in which to take the pictures. You will not find that level of service with any other photographer.

Johnny has true talent and is a super cool guy. We had him take our headshots, group shots and also purchased art from his Rust Rapture series for our new branch in Westlake. Everyone comments upon entering the bank about his unique style. If you are looking for some great art or personal photos, Johnny is your man!
