Rattan creek is in the heart of Milwood subdivision. Awesome trails for hiking with the doggies. Even better after a good rain. Water is only a few inches deep. Fun to run around in with the pups.

This is one of my favorite parks in Austin. Its linear, taking less than an hour to walk from one end to the other and back. Its also mostly dirt with a few concrete points and a single road crossing. The thing I love about this park is the scenery, running along a stream and adjacent to many picturesque trees and meadows. Adjacent to the path are soccer fields, tennis and basketball courts, playground, swings, and a pool. There is a restroom at the pool building just north of the road crossing. I found the path excellent for run training, especially at sunrise and sunset.

Very good local park . Nice walking trail next to a creek. Lots of trees and picnic tables. Volleyball, basketball, tennis , swimming and a playground are available. Also a veterans memorial at the far east end of the trail.

Great park. Great community. Often has events. Playground: Very good playground. Its not huge, but it has enough to keep the kids entertained. Toilets: Restrooms are generally clean and in order. Dog-friendliness: Lots of dogs! Picnic area: Great picnic area with grills, tables and a stage.

Nice park with trails, basketball courts, tennis courts. They also have benches around the park. Believe this is a private park for the community residents and their guests only - not really sure if it s open to all of public Playground: There are playgrounds all around. There are some sections that are under construction where they are adding few things for kids to play. Dog-friendliness: The park is very dog friendly and has many trails going around. Do bring your dogs and enjoy! Picnic area: They have many picnic spots - you can have a nice outing with family & friends.

The park and pool were enjoyable. I brought my infant grandson, and the kiddie pool was the ideal depth for him to explore. The grandson enjoyed the playground, and the park has many trees. When we were eating our munchies, flies were an issue. Other than that, everything was extremely enjoyable.

Basketball, tennis, lap and recreational swimming, and soccer fields? -check. A cover space to have a little outdoor party with power and spots to grill? - check Outdoor Restrooms, water fountains, and an indoor clubhouse? - also check The grounds are well kept. Its well lit and great for walking around at night. Its just small and pretty nice little park.

This was a great place to walk the dog during a road trip, but the human restrooms were not obvious (I circled uncomfortably for a long time until some locals kindly showed me that it s on the side between the tennis courts and the Community Center). Better signage would have earned a fifth star. Loved the shade, hummingbirds feasting on Turks Cap flowers, ease of access / parking, walkability, etc.

Great park, wonderful place to bring the family...I just wish my company had been better , but will definitely be going back if in that area again. Playground, swings, trails, tennis court, beautiful landscaping, and maybe more, I didnt walk the whole thing, but there was a lot of beauty.... Just all around great!!!

Good location for me. Never parking issues, so far. Police park & have a presence Never had, or witnessed, any issues of any sort here, I feel very safe by myself. Rarely super busy or crowded on trails. 2 big family restrooms available, theyre usually pretty clean. Its a pretty large park area, many huge wonderful trees, they canopy the trail in some areas, also has winding wet creek, its neat in rainy season, and dog park side, (to the west?) across the road, has bridge over creek to view crawfish, minnows, and cranes. More wildflowers on this side in Spring, why its not always mowed. Took me a few visits to realize trail continued west, onto other side of road, which I prefer, if its cold out and I want more sun. Many choices for all ages from swings, volleyball, tennis (for members?) basketball, soccer-kids only, to bike and run trails. Good amount of tables, benches scattered throughout, Ive seen b-day/parties here. I believe pool is for MUD members, but lots of kiddos in it, too busy for me, I prefer quieter spaces. Trails are nice and wide, bonus for the Covid phobes. Also has a ParCourse on pool side trail, if you want to mix in working out with jogging. Lots of entrances to park trails through neighborhood, too. Occasionally this neighborhood park hosts Crawfish boils & other fun events for the public.

Great Park! Easy walking loop divided in two halves! Well maintained. The playground is full of fun equipment to keep kids of all sizes active. Our dog loves going down the slide! Wonderful place to meet people. Lots of dog walkers. The wildlife that comes to this habitat is awesome. Herons, egrets and hawks to name a few! Lots of off trail places to stretch out on a blanket for a picnic. The trails have doggy stations and a water fountain at the playground for your fur baby! Pool, tennis courts, basketball court, sand volleyball, workout stations along the trail, distance markers, soccer field and a Brand New Pavillion!

They have closed the basketball court and the volleyball area as well. The trail is maintained and there are spots to stop and stretch or exercise asking the way. Not a long trail but enough for a quick stroll.

Beautiful and the path was very disabled friendly. Also dog friendly which is a must as I take Teddy Bear on all walks. Well kept. We managed to do the in and out as trail was easily walked. No tree roots and rocks in path.

Got a pool, basketball, volleyball, tennis requires a key, a soccer field, playground, gazebo, trail with crossfit. They do events and you can vote here sometimes in the police station. There is a waterway that fills up during rain.
