Keep your freaking dogs on a leash!! Its not an off leash park, It doesnt matter how friendly you think your dogs are ,dont be selfish and put kids lifes at risk . Its very selfish and frustrating , if you see this call 311 and report them as this seems to be the only way people do things nowadays..

What a beautiful park they are still working on it and have some amazing plans for it. We came out for movies in the park. I didnt even know it was out there. We lived back in that area and used to bike ride the back roads. It was nice to see how much has its changed. It was nice to see they used some of that beauty for a park. My grandson definitely enjoyed some of the games they had for them to play while out there. They had port a potties out there that were nice and clean still. We didnt get a chance to adventure much since we got there at dusk. We have plans to go back for another movie in the park next month. I am looking forward to the future plans they have for this park.

Lots of dogs and people walking. Very active and enjoyable place. About 20 parking spaces. There s a gravel trail that goes around the park and then there are other trails that other people have explored. My son took me on one of the other trails. It was getting close to dark so we didn t walk far. There are no lights in the parking lot out near the trails. No mile markers either that I noticed. Recommend to come anytime during daylight hours.

Technical an on-leash park, but if you have lived here long enough you know it was off leash for 10+ years as the ranchers nearby owned it. Now that the city purchased the land in 2016 and in 2021 installed a few signs that say on leash, I dont think it changed the ethos of this park. I bring my dog off leash, and a few people snarl at me and I dont care. If you are off the gravel/concrete path and in the trail system, I think its totally normal to be off leash. Sorry not sorry.

This is not an off-leash park. There are multiple signs that literally say all pets must be leashed . But wait, you say, my dog is so sweet or she loves kids . Look, I love dogs, I have two of them, but I don t let them run up to random children because I don t want my dogs to get kicked in the face. Do you?

I enjoyed walking the trails here. I still have more to explore, but what covered was very since. There are several parts where there is shade in the trails, but also long parts with no shade. I only saw one other group there with very friendly dos off leash. I went at 12:30pm and walked almost two miles. There is a parking lot, but also a section to park right where the trails starts. Will come back to walk the rest of the trails.

The trails that sprawl throughout the woods are great for anyone who has a dog with lots of energy. There is plenty of ground to cover, explore, and sniff. Be aware that there are plenty of days where groups riding horseback are on the trails. This was great exposer for our pup to get really freaked out about seeing this new very large creature for the first time. When the weathers good these trails are worth checking out, hope you enjoy!

The park is awesome. A few people need to be more responsible about picking up after their dog. It looked like some people were getting ready to play softball or baseball when we were there. Not a very good thing for an open field park where kids play and people walk their dogs. Perhaps signage limiting Organized Sports would be beneficial.

Nice little getaway for you and your furry friend. Trailhead parking and facilities are good. Hang out in the off leash open area or hit the trail. You can hike to the end of the trail to get to the water or take the shorter route half way there. Crossing the water takes your further into the trail. Water is clean enough for dogs but havent seen anyone swimming.
