Omg so good!!! Amazzzzzzzing food. You can get stuff of the ordinary like lamb butter and then put it on a crispy just out of the oven fluffy roll sprinkled with zaatar. Incredibly lamby but in an awesome way. Smashed Cucumber was my favorite. The fava bean foul/ hummus with lamb on top was to die for. Loved the pops of pomegranate. Loved the sabich- ive always had that in sandwich format but this was deconstructed. Then the desserts holy moly. Absolutely beautiful. Not too sweet - some were savory! Creamy. That one was vegan?! Will go back again!

This was an amazing experience. I have told several people about it. The hummus, the falafel, the fried fish, the ceviche, and of course the cabbage. If I had to eat one thing right now it would be that cabbage..or the one from Hestia. Same execution you have come to learn to expect from and emmer and rye spot. Eat here. Parking: On site parking.

My vote is really a 4.5 and not a 4 The food was good quality and elaborate and what I expected. The portions were good for a tapas/ mezze style place. my tip for improvement is there might have been too many things that were a tat overly spicy making it an inconvenient experience. Also for a Mediterranean restaurant I wish they had proper hot tea on their Menu to go with deserts and had the option of replacing yogurt w tahini. We had the lamb shish, Ariata (?) babaghanoosh, falafel and the pickles I loved my turmeric drink while the old fashion wasn t really up to par

A pretty noisy space if you re looking for a quiet date night. If you were wanting to get hummus, I would pass on that because a lot of the dishes come with hummus on them. Charred cabbage was the best dish of the night. The service was pretty slow, taking about 30 minutes in between the appetizers and the main course to get. Was only check in on to take away or drop dishes. Price point was reasonable for what you get. Vegetarian options: They do not have a specific menu however you are able to figure out what is and what is not. I would look at the menu ahead of time to know what you can have because our server did not seem confident in which items were vegetarian or not.

We had a lovely girls night dinner last night at Ezov. The place was so busy and bumping with fun music and a beautiful ambience. There is free valet so you feel very VIP when you arrive. All of the appetizers are great. I think one of my favorite things is the crudo. Their lamb hummus is also incredible! Everything I had there was absolutely delicious and fresh. You must try their bread. It s to die for! Our server was lovely and very patient with all of our questions.

Its so easy to drive by this place on Cesar Chavez and miss it, but they have a parking lot! So no excuse not to stop! Lol Who would know that this place has the most delicious food, too!! I know you probably think hummus and Mill Eastern food might be not especially refined. Its something you usually get from a strip mall, and its good, but the ambiance isnt there. This place marries the absolute best food in the world with really beautiful ambiance, and fantastic staff! Its a great date place! I highly recommend!

I dined at Ezov tonight and once again, it was a phenomenal experience. The food, ambience, and service were all exceptional, just as in my previous visits. After tasting their hummus, it s impossible to go back to any other. The frena (bread) that came with it was equally delicious. I was particularly impressed with the variety of vegetable dishes. My favorites were the crushed cucumber, falafel, and melon salad. Ezov always exudes care and passion in every detail. It s one of the best spots in Austin, truly deserving of a James Beard award! We ended with an equally tantalizing round of desserts. Can t go wrong with the malawi or the olive oil cake/orange blossom sorbet. Thank you Berty and team! Glad you are in Austin!

One of our favorite restaurants in New Orleans is called Saba. The chef, Alon Shaya, has earned James Beard awards, and honestly it s worth traveling to NOLA to eat there. It s the best Israeli food we ve ever enjoyed. Last week was our first visit to Ezov, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The food, service and ambiance were outstanding. Our server, Bailey, was professional, warm and she knew the menu and wine list inside out. The staff works as a team so we were also waited on by Kayla and Audrey, the manager. The highlight of course, was the food. I m attaching pics from our meal. It was amazing. The crudo, hummus with lamb, babaganoush, the BREAD, crispy fish and the lamb shish were heavenly. We ordered way too much food, but we wanted to sample the menu. We re so glad that we did. This restaurant may be our weekly Sunday night go to. We ll be there tomorrow night. I m pretty sure Alon Shaya would approve.

My husband and I had previously visited and enjoyed Emmer & Rye and Canje, both of which I think of as buzzier than other restaurants in the group. This was our first time at Ezov and it left us wondering why it isn t buzzier. Food, service and ambiance were all top notch. I can t think of anything better than a dips-based menu section. The wine list is so creative and feels very tied to the Med. I recommend going with a group so you can try as much of the menu as possible. This was such an enjoyable experience, and won t be our last!

We ve eaten at Ezov twice and both times have been a delight. The food is delicious. And the vegetarian dishes are actually just as good, if not better than, the meat dishes. They also have mad cocktail game. And the service is great too. I highly recommend. Vegetarian options: We could have ordered an entirely vegetarian meal and been happy, but ordered the chicken shawarma too. All the veg dishes were better than the chicken (which was also good).

Loved the cocktails and appetizers here! Definitely try the everything bagel martini for beverages, and for appetizers: Smashed cucumber, and Halloumi. Also the Frena is a MUST for dipping in all of the sauces. The only thing we ordered that we didn t like was the Tilefish. Not a ton of flavor, and the sauce tasted like a plane tomato sauce. Also if you re looking for something to leave out, you could leave out the falafel. If was delicious but not our favorite on the menu. Also they will recommend more food than you need, four appetizers between four of us was honestly more than enough food, the server suggested six dishes and we had way too much food which was a bummer. Overall the vibes and food were incredible!

Seemed like a really cool ambience and atmosphere inside. We booked an early dinner or Mother s Day right when they opened at 5:00PM. Made sure to specify we needed a high chair for our 17 month old when we made the reservation. Called a few days before to make sure they had high chairs, we could just bring our own if not which would be a small inconvenience but whatever, happy to. No no we have high chairs that s no problem and we are looking forward to celebrating Mother s Day with you and your little one. We get to the restaurant at 5:00 for our 5:00 reservation for three people (2 adults and one high chair) right when they opened at 5:00. We are walked to table: a chair at a small two-person table along the booth wall. No high chair. I look around and notice two other kids sitting in high chairs. Oh and can we get a high chair when you have a second? Oh actually I regret to inform you all of our high chairs are in use at the moment, but we ve put you on the boothed wall for your child to sit on. I believe we spoke on the phone with you about it this week. Had they just said hey I m so sorry we ran out of high chairs. We are happy to do anything we can to make this right and so sorry about your Mother s Day dinner now in life wrangling your infant on your lap as she runs around the restaurant . But to have the gall to lie directly to our faces and say oh we cleared it with you earlier so this is okay, right? Not cool. Hostess says she ll check in the back if they have one. She comes back 5 minutes later and says I asked the other patrons using the high chairs and they say they all are needing to use them . Yeah, obviously, we aren t going to ask another table to give up a high chair that they likely also requested. We reply that s okay, we re just going to go to a different restaurant. Hostess replies oh I am so sorry, we are happy to give you a discount! The problem is that someone who didn t request a high chair decided they did need one and it s first come first serve. I remind you all we arrived a minute after they opened at our scheduled reservation time. We pack up and head to the car. I m annoyed, wife is tired. Baby is hungry but chill. As we are loading up the baby in the car I notice two other cars pulling in and unpacking three children under the age of 2. I wish I could have stuck around to see their experience. The hostess that seated us caught up to us in the parking lot. The other table that said they didn t need a high chair is now willing to give up their high chair for y all! Did she think we were going to walk back in after deciding to leave because we were lied to after the alleged table that caused the issue was shamed into giving up their toddlers high chair? God no. We went down the street to Intero where they had about a dozen parties with young children, during the early reservation period of Mothers Day, in plenty of high chairs and had a great meal. But the ambience and decor of Ezov was really cool. Food smelled good. One star. Kid-friendliness: As you can read in the review, whatever the opposite of kid-friendly is, that s Ezov.

Outstanding experience. I think this was the best meal I ve ever eaten. We were lucky to arrive on a Monday, when the special was a chicken schnitzel plate. It came with a TON of sides - Israeli salad, marinated cabbage, heavily seeded fresh baked challah, 3 different sauces. It was plenty for 2 people. We started with a shared plate of falafel, which was the tastiest falafel I ve ever had also. Very generous portion and plated with a combination of sauces and spices that was delicious. We also shared the small plate of marinated red snapper with pomegranate and pistachios. It was fabulous. Service was speedy and friendly. Only thing that kept me from 5 stars on the atmosphere is that it was very noisy. But perfect experience otherwise. A good value for the money. Highly recommend.

When walking into the restaurant, even relatively early at 5:30 p.m., we were met with deafening noise, REALLY loud. Thankfully, we were able to eat outside where it was much quieter despite very loud César Chávez street traffic. The service was initially good, but after that we had to flag down a waiter for service. Who serves Austin-priced cocktails in a 5-ounce (4.97-ounce, to be precise) Nick and Nora glass? Ezov! Really? That was a total ripoff. The lamb and beef kofta was just so-so, as was the hummus. The saving grace was the frena bread, which was out-of-this-world! Nonetheless, we wont be returning.

Everything weve tried has been delicious with the Crudo, Squash Fattoush, Sabich, and Chicken Shawarma being exceptional standouts. Service is attentive, and the staff is as knowledgeable about the food as youd expect. Make sure to get desert! My only minor gripe; the contracted out valet on Saturday 4/13 was falsely and aggressively telling people Ezov charges $10 to park - payable in Venmo or Cash to him. Rubbed me the wrong way, but hey I knew the experience inside was going to be brilliant as ever and it was! Id recommend finding a different valet service though.

I ll start by saying the food was excellent. It s not an exaggeration to say the falafel was the best I ve ever had. We did the chef s tasting menu and everything was delicious and well prepared. However, the service and atmosphere could use some improvement. Our food started arriving well before our drinks arrived, which we ordered well before we ordered our food. And the ceiling fans in the enclosed patio area were running way too high. It was like hurricane winds blowing directly down on us and our table. It made for a very uncomfortable experience. I asked our waitress if our fan could be turned down a little and she told us that it couldn t be. She flippantly told us that it s either high or off and we just can t turn them off. Very annoying.

We shared 3 starters, the hummus and Frena bread, and one main for three people. They were very accommodating with the one vegan in our party and the roasted cauliflower was a flavorful hit with everyone. The only small minor note - I think if we had eaten inside the music would have been far too loud, which seems to be an unfortunate trend with Austin restaurants. Sitting on the patio the playlist was enjoyable and conversation was easy, even with the busy street next door. We came as a group last night. Server told us that the food is served family style, with shared plates. The serving portions are really more for one or two people, though, and for four hungry people at the table we cleaned up those shared plates quickly and had to order much more food. The food, especially the entrees, are not cheap. We knew that going in though. One disappointing thing was that the hummus appetizer does not come with anything to dip in it besides 4 individual slices of onion. If you want bread to dip, that s sold separately for $6. That seemed odd and sort of nickel and dime-y. Some of the dishes seemed to come with the exact amount of food for our foursome, and no more, which was a shame because the food is very good. Unfortunately, you d get your one or two bites and that was about it. Cocktails were tasty, but a little small. Ordered a whiskey sour and it came in a glass slightly larger than a shot glass. For about $15 that felt pretty overpriced, especially now in the age of the $15 minimum drink. Cocktails also took about 20 minutes to get to us. Overall the food was delicious and service was also pretty good, but it did all seem rather overpriced and to call the portions shareable or family style is being generous by American standards, unless you re used to or prefer small portions.

For entrees we had poached swordfish which had delicate flavors and was perfectly cooked.. as well as the grilled lamb, ordered med rare but came out a little on the rare side. Nonetheless the seasoning was fantastic and the accompaniments were a perfect pair flavor wise. Olive oil cake with blood orange sorbet and persimmon jam. Very well balanced flavors. The cake was great but the dish as a whole was phenomenal. Finally, everything bageltini sounds bizarre but it was kinda perfect if you are a fan of dirty martinis

I came to Ezov seeking halloumi, my favorite cheese, seemingly hard to find in the US. While the halloumi wasn t quite the squeaky goodness you find across Europe, it was a tasty take on it, just a bit softer, the sauce was delectable. All of the dishes were very flavorful, I loved the crispness of the maitake and the flavor profiles of the kofta. The drink menu had some fun items, like an everything bagel tini which was delightful, and spot on. I love both a beet drink and mezcal, so the Tom Selek did not disappoint. If you like beets, go for it! The service matched the environment and price point, accessible and knowledgeable, yet not too overwhelming with check-ins while still friendly. The ambiance at Ezov is modern and trendy, the space is open and bright, however the music didn t match, it was too loud and quite clubby, and I love clubs, just not at dinner.

Our dinner reservation was at 6pm so we saw the turnover from the early (i.e. old) crowd to the later (i.e. young) crowd, proving this delicious and vibrant spot is for everyone to enjoy. Ezov s food tastes GREAT! But I do have some very important feedback on atmosphere and function: - everything on the menu is designed to be shared family style which would work great BUT the food served was very difficult to cut and actually share mostly because the plates themselves were too small and the wrong cutlery was provided. An example of this is the cabbage- it tasted so good but we couldn t easily cut it which deterred some people from eating it entirely. - vibe wise I have to give a 1 star because the loud pop music (Fergie), free-form neon lights and non functionally cutlery and plates made the place feel too try hard like LA trying to fit into Austin. I wish they d embrace Austin more vs trying to be so ~cool~. You can also see this in the crowd- lots of Instagram girlies looking to take cool pics over dinner which always ruins a spot for me sadly. - our server was great- informed on her food & wines and a easy, casual vibe which always makes for a good night. Thank you!

Fantastic food and service. Strange ambiance. They were playing top 20 hits from like 2014. I m talking Starships Nikki Minaj.. So the music felt pretty off and ruined the experience a bit for us. Probably wouldn t return for that reason. Our total bill was $160 for my husband and I and that s with no alcohol because we were doing dry January.. Also, it s valet parking only which felt strange for a large parking lot right next to the building. We actually had to walk further to the valet stand than where our car was parked. If you order one thing get the crudo. It was insane.

From start to finish this restaurant was a complete disappointment. I had to wait over 30 minutes for my reservation, then they started rushing our dishes out, all at once. The halloumi was a cold hunk of cheese in balsamic with some lettuce. The hummus doesn t even come with bread of crudité to eat it, but is a dish? Did I mention butter for your bread is $6? The chicken shawarma was actually have thicken thighs/ half breading (and I m not referring to the lavash that comes with it.) But worst of all, I watched a table get a wrong order and send the item back. I thought it looked kind of good, so a few minutes later I decided to order it. I watched them grab the 15 minute old dish and bring it right to my table; an unforgivable offense. I will say all the pickled vegetables and side salads on the shawarma were quite tasty, but that s all. Couldn t pay me to come back. Guess I ll save my Israeli fixes for manhattan. Such a shame as I ve been craving quality Israeli cuisine since I moved to Austin years ago

I ve only come here once shortly after opening so take this review with a grain of salt (I will be coming back!). The dishes we ordered were recommended by the waiter but only one or two were impressive in flavor and quality at this price point. Some lacked flavor and some were substantially over priced for what they were (paying for atmosphere not food). I grew up eating Israeli food in the Northeast and you can get all of the items we ordered for 1/3 the price and better flavors that aren t trying too hard to be trendy. The booth table we sat was super tiny and low to the ground. I had to stand up a few times to stretch my back and knees. It wasn t a great first impression, but would love to come back again hoping that they found their groove more time after opening (lots of potential).

That being said, the host was very kind to let me lock to their railing in the entry, though I hoped nobody else needed to lock up. Anyway. Incredible food, really some of the best I ve had in Austin. Hummus that reminded me of the kind I ve only had in Tel Aviv. Eggplant that melted like bone marrow. The Tom Selleck cocktail was a revelation. We had probably a dozen servers, which was wild, but they were very attentive! Very lively joint.

This was for me, the most anticipated restaurant I wanted to try in Austin. It started bad, with a useless valet that we paid 10 bucks and we parked ourselves the car in the restaurant parking lot... It felt like paying taxes... We ordered the 5 courses and the wine. I was shocked when the waiter came back asking if we want bread to go with the hummus. Really? How am I supposed to eat hummus without bread? The bread was a focaccia, very good by itself but definitely too loaded with salt and oil which tended to cover the taste of the dips. The meal was ok, but everything was too hot. Maybe it is required by the local customers but it is surely not common in the Mediterranean food. The only very good one was the sabich. The eggplants were excellent. If the chef opens a food truck with only sabich on pita I would definitely go!

High end , intelligent, and interesting food that everyone can enjoy. All will leave happy from this high end and (for the Austin fine dining scene) very reasonably priced foodie heaven. The vibe is high-end and comfy foods meets urban art. There is graffiti on the walls - in a space that could otherwise be a high end living / dining room. Each seating area has its own little vibe. They even pump different music into the different areas. There is different design elements. They each have their own merits: The enclosed patio is the spot to request for the more intimate (and comfortable? )experience. The bar is for a more rock and roll vibe. The main dining is bridge between the two. The outside patio is very seasonal, but beautifully appointed. This is a spot for an intimate meal or a great night out for drinks. (Again - the intelligent design. ) The food is of the highest caliber with great technique and presentation but is accessible to all. There is some amazing experimental food (the smashed cucumber or Sigarim) and some equally awesome comfort food options ( the best falafel in town hands down and my dining companion adored the humus.) The haloumi was beautiful and tasty. The Lamb Kofta was excellent. My favorite dishes were the smashed cucumber and the falafel. Ask to have Umut as your waiter. This man is kind, caring, and the perfect level of attentive. We had a wonderful time learning from him - he is from Turkey and helped guide us in our meal selection. You will feel so cared for in a very unassuming and light touch way. He is the perfect waiter for this spot. I would say this is a place to equally take your pickiest of eaters and your food snobs. That is a tough balance to strike. Well done.

Disappointing experience overall. There were a few bright spots but overall I cant recommend coming here when there are so many better spots in town. The Good: The staff was friendly when they seated us and they did ask if we wanted fresh plates for our entree. The lamb hummus and the bread were very good. The bad: We came and were with friends that do not drink and I felt that as soon as we didnt order beverages our service notably declined. We ordered 5 items at the recommendation of the waitress for 3 people and honesly would have been fine with less. They said we had to order everything at once so they could stage service but then 4 things came at once so there was no space and we had to wait an additional 15 min for our last dish after everything else had been cleared? The falafel was definitely burnt and when we cut into it a chip went flying off and hit a person at the next table... AWKWARD. Like, thats not crisp, thats burned. The lamb was good but so smokey that everyone at the table left complaining about how they smelled. Lastly, we were with friends who dont drinks so they ordered a sprite. The waitress asked if they wanted refills only to find out at the end of the night that each refill counted as a new drink and we were charged $9 for Sprite! If you are going to charge for each drink fine, just let me be an informed consumer! Disappointing meal. Really wish we didnt come.

We had an exceptional meal at Ezov last weekend! Every dish was an incredible mix of unique flavors unlike anything I d ever had, perfectly blending Mediterranean classics with a modern and elevated feel. Small plates are really where Ezov excels. We ordered 4 and the flavors blew us away: -Smashed Cucumber -Crudo -Falafel -Hummus with Lamb The Smashed Cucumber and Crudo were refreshing and a delightful blend of sweet, tart, and savory. The Falafel and Hummus with lamb were rich in flavor and combined different complimentary textures and tastes. Also, the Frena bread is a must! On its own the Frena was delicious, but combined with the different sauces, hummus, and lamb butter, it was incredible. Our main dish was the Chicken Shwarma and while it was good, it wasn t as impressive to us as the small plates we had. For dessert we had the absolutely delicious baklava with tahini ice cream, caramelized bananas, and pistachios. We were on the fence about ordering dessert because we were stuffed, but I am so glad we tried it! Atmosphere of the restaurant was lively and it had cool decor. The restaurant was full, but we didn t feel overly packed, and it wasn t too loud despite being the amount of people. Overall I was very impressed by Ezov and will definitely be back! This was one of the first new elevated Austin restaurants in a while that truly exceeded our expectations and felt worth the price tag.

Probably at the top of the worst dining experiences we have had in Austin. At their now-closed TLV location downtown the food was phenomenal, so we were looking forward to dining at Ezov tonight. Unfortunately the food did not compare. First of all the table was sticky and dirty which made for an uncomfortable dining experience. We were moved to a different table. It was less sticky but still unpleasant. We were a table of 3 and our server suggested that we order 7 to 8 plates to share. We shared 3 and left full. The food was not stellar. It was greasy, and comprised of too many ingredients which all got lost in the mix. The Sigaria ($18) was described as a smoked fish appetizer. It was basically a gas station taquito without any whiff of smoked fish element. Smoked trout from Trader Joes for $8.99 is a much better investment. Overall the prices were extremely high for the low quality dishes. On top of it all, they brought out the wrong bottle of wine, gave us some lame excuse about a different wine delivery order, and on top of that overcharged us on the bottle they brought. All of the interactions we had with several members of the staff were unpleasant and rather whiny. We were doled out a healthy portion of excuses without much hospitality. We will not be back.

We booked a reservation for this restaurant on October 8, 2023 and we were excited to try this place as it had decent reviews and the menu looked great. Once we got there, our server Sarah suggested that for a party of 6 to order between 10 to 14 dishes but the menu has a maximum of 14 dishes. We expressed that we wanted more time to look over the menu and might order an entree each person. She expressed that due to how the kitchen works if we order the same items from the menu, that the kitchen can only bring out the food one by one as it s done. It seems like she wanted us to all order different entrees but I ve never heard of a kitchen not being able to control their food completion time. When she came back to take our order, she seemed a bit annoyed that we decided to not order all different entrees and wanted to share entrees between couples. She again said that due to how the kitchen works that the food can t be controlled how it comes out and will be brought out as finished by the kitchen. That s fine with us but seems a tad annoying when you re trying to be controlled on what you re trying to order and it felt like we were being upsold to order more when 9 dishes were enough for 6 people to share. Additionally, $13 for a hummus dish without any chips or bread to use and you have to pay another $6 for a small dish of bread? A little ridiculous. The food was ok, but the experience ruined it for us. When the individual who brought out the forks and knives come by, she was scratching her stomach where her shirt didn t cover her stomach all the way and behind her apron and then proceeded to hand me unwrapped silverware to use. I mean, if you need to scratch yourself at least do it behind closed doors and not in front of someone s face when they re about to use that silverware to eat. We also didn t have anyone come by and check up on how we liked the food until it was time to pay. Seemed like they were more interested in upselling the menu and was attentive at first but as soon as you didn t order the exact dishes they expect you to, service dwindled. I would have rather spent my money and time somewhere else. EDIT: Changing to one star because no one reached out to remedy.

Food is delicious. 10/10. Service is meh. Its hard to tell who your main server is because they have someone different delivering every single plate, and theyre all buzzing around like bees so its super hard to grab anyone for anything whether thats another drink or food. The drinks are weak and the wine is VERY short pours. I would bet those $15-25 glasses of wine are not more than 3oz. And I wouldve had more than two even at that price if I could have had a server who wouldve been attentive to keeping my drinks up. Anyway, go for the food but dont expect to be wowed by anything else. Atmosphere is VERY loud and the way they service tables is extremely high energy and a bit stressful so dont expect a relaxing meal. Also, VERY expensive - food and 3 TOTAL alcoholic beverages(not 3 per person - 3 TOTAL.) for 2 people was near $300.

The wine list is outstanding. Dont get put off if you feel unfamiliar with many of the selections; not many folks are all that familiar with Greek or Lebanese wines, but youll find some real gems if you look (or, even better, have the Somm suggest something). The cocktails are also great; theres something for everyone. I cant wait to come back!

Lets start with the hummus. Its $16, and it DOES NOT come with pita. Thats will cost you another $12!! The pita is good, not great. Its 1 medium size piece, that is not very generous once cut into 4 pieces. With tax and a 20% tip, just hummus and pita, will run you $36. If that is ok with you, keep reading. If not, try a more casual middle eastern spot with reasonable prices and larger portions. Our waitress was great. She was energetic and informative. As with most Austin restaurants, she told us everything was shareable, and she recommended several items from each section of the menu. We had smashed cucumber, charred cabbage, and falafel (the falafel is very tasty and the only thing on the menu that is portioned out properly to share 4 ways). For our entrees, we ordered the grouper, and it had 2 very small pieces of fish served on top of smokey harissa. It was fine, nothing too exciting. We also had the kofta kebab. For $28, it should come with 2 skewers. The kebab was so small we each had one tiny bite. It tasted great, I just wanted a little more. Having travelled to Israel, where they serve you massive, shareable portions of entrees and salatim (fresh salads/dips/sides), Ezov is another overpriced, small portion restaurant that leaves you wondering why people keep coming back.

Surprisingly the presentation of the food was not very good. We were even told that the drinks (cocktails) are pre made in batches which came as a shock to me. We ordered everything vegetarian. Food was decent. Ambience was good except for the hideous white light hanging with graffiti on it. If you wanna eat this place is not for you, if you want to go for tasting then may be. Overhyped!

The food was generally good, but very small portions for the price. These are supposedly dishes to share, but the portions were really only big enough for 2 people. Cons: Have to use valet to park in their lot. We had a rental car and did not want to take the chance it would be damaged, so we had to park blocks away. Server refused to take our order until we decided ALL the dishes we wanted to order. We were very hungry and wanted to be able to order 3 or 4 dishes right away and then decide on more, but we were told this was not allowed! Since we had not been here before this meant we had to spend 20-30 minutes deciding our entire meal before she would take our order. By that time I was hangry and supremely ticked off. The music was too loud. My husband and I were sitting side by side and still could barely hear each other. There is no way we could have dined out with friends and been able to hear them across the table. The table top was sticky already when we arrived. We were told it was actually clean, just tacky from the heat, but it appeared dirty in patches, and my phone and cutlery and plate were sticking to the table. Between courses, after the table was wiped down it was much less sticky, leading me to believe that it had not been properly cleaned before. Ambience in the room is zero. Sparse IKEA like furnishings with fake graffiti on the cheap paper lantern light fixtures, and nothing to dampen the sound of people trying to shout over the too loud music. The food is good, but not great. As I mentioned the portions are small. Our meal for 2 people with only 1 drink each and no dessert was over $200. The best dish we had was the charred cabbage, followed by the Kofta and the smashed cucumbers. Another peeve: I ordered a kofta to go for someone . The package did not include the 3 sauces that they provided for the eat-in kofta. The server stated that they didnt usually give the sauces for takeout! Same price though. She agreed to provide the sauce, but beware of take-out here.
