Well, we cannot avoid legal issues as adults... whether from divorce or personal injury, or in my case where my housemate threatened me, stole from me, illegally evicted me from the apartment, and then sued me for unpaid rent and theft of property. Thank goodness I found the Frost firm! I was not in a position to represent myself as I was working full-time and wrapping up my final exams in physics. Russell and the team quickly learned my case and defended well through each step of this lengthy process. Sure, when new to the legal system, there are hiccups and miscommunications, however the team always quickly addressed any issues and problem solved in my favor. Eventually I won my case! Russell is forthright about the drawbacks to the legal system and never pressures me down a specific path, but instead supports my decisions and guides me through fair and thorough interpretations of the law. I had a very small matter worth only about a $1000 for a car accident where the other party was at fault and lied about it. I wanted to pursue this in small claims but was horrified when their insurance lawyer sent me paperwork that basically said theyd come after me for attorney fees should I lose. I really wanted to just drop the matter all together, but decided to consult an attorney first just in case. Mr. Frost was able to provide me with excellent guidance, and he additionally was the only attorney out of the many I called willing to even provide a one time consultation. I didnt drop the case, pursued it, and ended up winning.

Russell met with me about a year and a half ago to handle a case for me against a landlord who was refusing to be compliant with Texas statute on deposit amounts. I was referred to him by my Employees Assistance Program and he honored a discounted price because of that (which was awesome). Russell explained to me the risks of what could potentially happen in the future should I seek to push the case past a demand letter and informed me that I would be working with Caryn also. Throughout the drawn out process (because of the incompetent landlord) Caryn explained me to every step that was occurring. A year and a half later, the firm was able to get me a settlement that I was pleased with. I was so pleased with the services, that I even decided to bring my mom in to meet him and Caryn so that she could hire him for her own Estate Planning. I was not happy with the experience I had with Russell and his assistant lawyer. It appeared to me that they found my case to be unimportant; and I still wonder if they did all they could to win it. At one point, after paying Russell thousands, he wouldnt allow me to speak with the lawyer who was handling my case until I paid a bill of roughly $350. It was extremely unprofessional. I also mentioned to him that I was planning to post a review. He immediately required me to sign something that I wouldnt post anything negative or he would drop my case. Perhaps thats why he has no other negative reviews? I was more than happy to end the relationship because all the money I was giving him was a huge waste. Beware!!!
