I have to admit, I was placed with about 5 different lawyers and didn t feel at ease at first due to their own personal issues, which happens. They started in contact and transparent, which kept me confident. I had many lawyers through my 18 months process. I ended up getting denied and Reagan Roberts was the one to fight it. She didn t get bothered and let me know this is common and how to attack it. About 4 months into it, I received a letter from OPM- Approved!!! I did what was asked and needed, as they did 80% of the work for me. My case was a roller coaster for sure. There were many times of weariness and frustration. Many co workers tried to get me to go another route, but the Lord and my lawyers had my back and kept me confident with every step. Listen to the lawyer and trust they know the best attack, even when it doesn t look as it s going your way. This is why we hire them. Thank you and I highly recommend. Houston Texas

Im writing this review for Ms. ShelbyAnn Johnson the attorney who diligently worked on my application for federal disability retirement through the approval result. Ms. Johnson was readily available to me and responded to every question that I had very swiftly and with unwavering professionalism. The firm provides extremely helpful information directly from the attorney and the counselor as well as from the online sessions they provide. I learned of Harris Federal Firm just by chance. My successful outcome was due to the attention that Ms. Johnson paid to my application and I could not have done it without her. I highly recommend the service that Harris Federal provides. I found Harris Federal after some research and weighed my options on going the process on my own. I m so glad I chose this team to handle my package. After considerable research, I chose this Firm to represent me in the submission of my application to OPM. The application process was long and tedious, but this Firm does exactly what they say they do, and they do it well. They helped with everything from gathering medical records and initial preparation of my application all the way through the denials, appeals and ultimately the approval of my case. I can honestly say my choice to hire the Firm is one of the best decisions Ive ever made and I wouldnt change anything about the representation or assistance I was provided. I am especially thankful to Leah for constantly advising me of my case status with each decision, and adding a no-nonsense personal touch. If you are in the process of applying to OPM, do your research and then choose this Firm. I am thankful that I did.

My case manager is causing me to regret hiring Harris. I sent all the disability retirement forms completed. I get a letter stating I will be sent and need to resign all forms. I forwarded an email from HR stating there are no positions available nor a reasonable accommodation. The response I got from the case manager was lets file a reasonable accommodation. I gave the case manager the SF3112 with section D stating there are no positions available nor accommodations based on my disability. This person still wants to file an RA. I requested a different case manager. I get an email asking about my thoughts on filing an RA. I am ready to fire this person, but this person would probably file an RA.

In June, 2023, I was in need of a law firm to help me apply for federal disability retirement benefits. After some internet research, I came across Harris Federal Law Firm. I didnt know what to expect or what the requirements would be. From the beginning, they were extremely professional and helpful. I was quickly put at ease and felt comfortable with their care. Jessica was first to assist me in building my case and gathering the necessary documents. My initial application was denied....not unusual. I was devastated. They immediately escalated my case to a junior attorney. Reagan quickly developed an action plan and put me at ease.....as much as she could. She drafted a strong letter for my healthcare providers to complete that encompassed all the requirements OPM was looking for. I had my healthcare providers complete the letters and we submitted them to OPM. Within 6 weeks my application was approved! Jessica and Reagan were outstanding! I was very fortunate to be in the care of two professionals who knew what they were doing and were experienced with OPM. I would recommend Harris Federal Law Firm to anyone!

I highly recommend Harris Federal for any federal employee struggling in their job due to a medical issue. Everyone was extremely responsive, professional, and supportive throughout the process. You will definitely benefit from a consult so that their team can help you better understand your circumstances and guide you down the right path. I specifically wanted to thank Isabel and Leah who worked with me more closely than others, but everyone I interacted with was excellent. The FDR is a lengthy and stressful process and having Harris Federal is definitely a good choice.

Harris Federal Law Firm staff are knowledgeable. The process can be lengthy but they are there to reassure you every step of the way. I sat back and let the process take its course.
