The location is beautiful. The food, however, is more like what you can get at a bar and grill. I would not call any of this food Italian per se. The food lacks flavor , proper seasoning, and textural differences. You can tell that the ingredients used are very low quality and cheap. They charge you 4$ for tap soda water. I really did not enjoy my meal whatsoever. Service is alright.

Not Celiac safe! I said I was allergic to gluten. They assured me my pasta was gluten free but guess what? They sprinkled bread crumbs all over the top of it! I thought it was cheese, I got so so sick. The next day the manager confirmed that it was bread crumbs, refunded my order and apologized. I sincerely hope they re-train their staff and take food allergies more seriously.

I found the food quite average in taste. Both the pasta and the bruschetta were too creamy and I couldnt taste anything else. But the reason I docked stars is because we had ordered the chicken fettucine funghi but it came without any chicken.

Our server was great at communicating that the kitchen staff advised that their kitchen has flour everywhere and is not safe for sensitive gluten allergies/celiac. For management to assume the issue came from the server instead of themselves is laughable. The server does not set the standards in the kitchen. It s the disregard from management to take food allergies seriously - especially gluten- that is the joke. Their gluten free pasta in a kitchen where gluten cannot be contained well is a vanity offering. Why bother making anything gluten free if it s not taken seriously. Any gluten contamination is still just that. Management is a defensive mess as seen by their reply to feedback. The audacity of a 28% tip button is grotesque and very desperate. This indicates a restaurant that cares not to pay staff a livable wage. Pay your staff past the bare minimum and stop asking your patrons to do your job to keep your staff happy. To guilt the populace into an overly generous tip and then continue to double down on how others tip even up to 35% is not a standard a chain restaurant should set for guests. There is nothing upscale about Juliet. They are nothing more than a level up from the Olive Garden. Austin has far better italian options than this relic.

This is a beautiful restaurant, I am looking forward to cooler weather so we can sit on the patio. The complimentary bread and olive oil was a great start. The bruschetta was divine. I had the chicken piccata with spinach and polenta and it was delicious. My husband had the redfish and ate every last bite. Our server was great and so helpful with wine recommendations.

Had a lunch special yesterday with caprese bruschetta and the spicy rigatoni alla vodka. The table bread was not good, the bruschetta was not balanced at all, just a piece of bread with way too much tomato, very little balsamic, lack luster pesto and way too much garlic. The spicy rigatoni alla vodka was basically inedible as it was way too salty (I like salt) with no spice or vodka. I will say the did cook the pasta properly, the service was good and the location is nice.

Most of of my reviews are positive. Had such a terrible dinner so had to post. Where do we begin the bread was warm and soft, making it the only bright spot of the night. The dipping oil was too garlicky, don t plan to kiss your spouse after eating. Wine by glass was under poured. Stuffed mushrooms were small and without much substance or flavors. Water was never served at the table. The entrees were not much better. Never had piccata with skin / bone in thigh meat but maybe I been missing out or just uneducated? The sauce was subpar and the polenta was bland. Hard to tell if the spinach was meant as a salad or a cooked side. The Saltibocca featured dry, way too thick chicken breast with prosciutto that looked/tasted like salted Canadian bacon. Pasta did not seem homemade nor fresh as advertised and the sauce was underwhelming, when we left, I found my car running in the lot with windows rolled down, unattended. When valet came they just told me they have been in disaster mode without helping us back in the car. My car could have been running the whole time?? Noticed that my back window was stuck with bottom of the baby shades, then realized keys were not in the car. Waited more time in the chaotic lot to get the heck out of there. Wasted our one dinner opportunity in Austin, how frustrating. Juliet s claimed to be authentic Italian but when examining the menu you may find it uninspiring, almost Olive Garden like. I m glad everyone else who reviewed had a decent experience we certainly didn t and wish we went to Fresas or Aba, where we would have spent the same amount for much better food. Juliet s name is fitting because we were left with an unhappy ending in this play. Parking: See my experience above

I loved everything about this place! We had a fancy work lunch at Juliet s yesterday and it was amazing. The atmosphere was upscale but relaxed, the staff was super friendly and attentive, and the food was stellar. The cocktails were fantastic, my rigatoni was perfectly al dente, and the stuffed mushrooms were out of this world! The tiramisu was so decadent maybe the best I ve ever had. I ve already messaged my sister that we *have* to take our dad here because he would be in absolute heaven. I will definitely be back! Thanks so much for a great time.

My wife made reservations for a dinner date night. Our first time, and just from the parking lot to walking in sets the mood! The atmosphere is incredible. We both had drinks, very strong very nice! Then started with the fried Calamari appetizer. The freshest calamari I have ever had, and fried to perfection! I also loved the fried jalapeños with the order. I m a fan of spicy foods and they had a bite! For the main course we both had the Chicken Parmigiana, excellent choice! The spaghetti noodles tasted like they were just made, along with the sauce! The serving was very generous that we both had to get to go boxes. A wonderful, and delicious meal! I couldn t have asked for a better date night dinner! Service was excellent the entire time. Definitely looking forward to another visit soon!

I had only been to Juliette once before and this was before the pandemic. I had a pasta and a side salad and it was underwhelming so I never returned. This time it was a COMPLETELY different experience. We came in for a wine tasting lunch with some wine reps and I ordered the Bibb Lettuce Salad with Grilled Salmon. It was a delight. From the home made dressing to the perfectly cooked fresh salmon, everything was perfect. I like clean simple foods with no more than four ingredients. This salad was just that. I will DEFINITELY come back. The good was outstanding and the interior super clean. Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options available on the menu

This was the third time Ive been to Juliet at the Barton Springs location this year and neither I, nor the various people I have been with (3 different groups) have been overly impressed with the food or the service. Tried to speak to the manager about the issues, but was told sorry you feel that way Tonight was the icing on the cake and I will not be going back. I was hoping to be able to reply to the response I received on this. No this was not the whole story. They didnt put anyone at our table for the additional half hour we were there before we left and there were other empty tables in the restaurant. no one came in to be seated during the time frame after we left the table and there was no one in line to be seated either while we were still at the table or during the half hour afterwards.

We returned after trying for a birthday party 2 years ago. First time was fun, good enough, but this week, we FELL IN LOVE and wanted to marry our food. So good, so tasty, so perfect, so nuanced in all of the right ways we shared 3 appetizers plus 2 entree dishes between 3 ravenous diners and cannot wait to re-validate SOON! We enjoyed everything : seasoned oil (scored a 13 out of 10) bread (7/10), beef carpaccio (8/10), shrimp scampi (8/10), margarita pizza (9/10), grilled broccolini (10/10 by one diner), calamari (9/10, competes with or better than Satellite s, our longtime favorite!). Recommend you time your visit for happy hour and stick to the appetizer menu as much as you can. Delicioso!

We paid a visit to Juliet Italian Kitchen for the first time last week! We came on a Tuesday around 5 and there was only one other family in the restaurant, so plenty of parking available around back! The patio, greenery, decor and mood of the restaurant are very aesthetically pleasing, with plenty of cute picture opportunities. Our waitress sat us in the front hallway with big windows to the main street out front, and if was fun to people watch while waiting for our meal! Our waitress was also very friendly and sweet with my kids, although we didnt see a kids menu while there. The food itself was just ok, not the best Italian in the Austin area. My kids ordered spaghetti and the noodles were thick and not normal spaghetti noodles, which is ok, they just got full super quickly. I had a stomach ache after my meal, and again after my leftovers a couple days later. Overall its a fun restaurant to try out!

Update: Robert called to confirm the headcount 1hr before reservation and it was for 7 folks only. He already updated the reservation details even before we showed up! Stop Sharing wrong details! Did the reservation for 7peeps. And the Robert, who helped me with reservations, mentioned gratuity is only added for party of 10 or more. I got the check, and didnt check for gratuity as I wasnt expectimg to change the rule in 1hr! And as I didnt know about gratuity added, I tipped very generously considering the service. When I inquired about the same to the waiteress helping us!! She said because you were doing bachelorette we added it but we can remove it if you want!?. What the hell? Why your rule changes in an hour? Did you care to ask? Its my money! So, I asked her to void the bill, get me the new check without false charges and Ill tip. I did tip and pretty generous! Now again, what and how to tip is my right. Theres no rights/Act defined to ask/ demand for tip you want! Now, before we leave, another guy comes to us, and he dare to tell us why did you tip low ?? Wow!! I would ask Juliet owner to pay their employees well so they dont have to ask around for tips!! That was such a bad experience. And food was okay! Definitely not going back to these greedy peeps! Staff needs to work on ethics!

The pizza was very good probably one of the better fresh Italian pizzas Ive had and he agreed. My chicken parmesan was an ok dish. The chicken was amazingly tender and juicy. I use to eat here all the time. However, I am losing faith as you promote these 5 course dinners with wine pairing, but you never offer a vegetarian menu. How hard is to make vegetarian especially when you serve pasta?

We love Juliet!! I have celebrated countless birthdays, anniversaries, and promotions here and every time is just as good as the last. The food is fantastic, the service is unmatched, and the ambiance is fantastic. Perfect for a date night, celebration, or just a nice dinner. They have a few really good vegetarian dishes and are fantastic with dietary accommodations. The mushroom manicotti is one of my favorite dishes on the menu. Micheal is the best server and his service and attitude was 10/10. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian pasta and pizza available and lots of dishes can be made veg with meat removed Parking: Free valet parking

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Juliet and was thoroughly impressed by both the culinary offerings and the outstanding service provided by Michael. From start to finish, our dining experience was elevated by his attentive and knowledgeable assistance. Upon Michael s recommendation, we began our meal with the bruschettas, a delightful combination of fresh, flavorful ingredients atop perfectly toasted bread. The rigatoni dish that followed was cooked to perfection, with each bite bursting with rich, savory flavors. And the chicken parmigiana was a true standout, featuring tender chicken smothered in a delicious marinara sauce and gooey melted cheese. What truly set our experience apart, however, was Michael s impeccable service. His passion for the menu was evident as he guided us through our meal, offering insightful recommendations and ensuring that every detail of our dining experience was attended to. His warm demeanor and genuine hospitality made us feel welcome and appreciated, turning our evening into a truly memorable occasion. In conclusion, Juliet exceeded all expectations, thanks in large part to the exceptional service provided by Michael. From the mouthwatering cuisine to the attentive assistance, every aspect of our dining experience was top-notch. I highly recommend Juliet to anyone in search of a memorable dining experience, and I look forward to returning soon.

Average dining experience. I was pretty disappointed at the portion size of their very expensive house favorite boar ravioli. The taste was ordinary and it was not enough to feed one person. I think its a little dishonest to price it so high for only 5 ravioli, especially when everything else on the menu is reasonable. Service was not great either. I probably wont go again

UNSANITARY KITCHEN!! LOOK AT WHAT IS ON YOUR PLATE BEFORE YOU EAT IT! - I have been wanting to go to Juliet s for a date night for a while. I finally made it happen only to be SOOO disappointed and disgusted. The place was nice and not too crowded, so it was pleasant initially. My husband ordered the Wild Boar Ravioli.. and OMG what a sloppy mess! Presentation was there, but it was more sauce than anything and the ravioli was barely held together and just fell apart with barely touching them with a fork. We both tried it and then moved it out of the way covering it up. I ordered the Chicken Fettuccine Funghi. The flavor was barely there, but the mushrooms made it. I put some on his side plate feeling sorry that he didn t eat his dinner. We made the best of it until I looked closer and noticed something that was not anything that should have been there. I asked my husband to look. He called the waitress (bartender with long blonde hair and glasses) over. It was a sunflower seed shell!! Ummm no! She said, oh no, that is from one of our salads and I ll let the kitchen know that their food stations need to be cleaned up. She then offered a small plate for me to move it to. What was that going to do?! SHE KNEW it wasn t right and then offered a dessert. A trade for someone s spit-filled sunflower seed for a dessert.. oh thanks! I was relieved at first (not realizing and trusting her). We went home and couldn t get it off my mind thinking what restaurant actually shells their sunflower seeds for each salad. Wow.. but no. I pulled up the menu and NO salad mentions sunflower seeds. I m horrified! Gross! The kitchen staff must really be chewing and snacking on sunflower seeds and a shell ended up in my plate! The waitress just tried to save her tip and she did! My husband called to talk to the manager and they told him to leave a message. 2 days later no call back! Dirty kitchen staff, lying waitress (for her own greediness), and poor management!! We ll never go back!

Cute vibe and great date night spot. Nice large patio and dogs are welcome. Service was great too. I had the sausage pesto ravioli..so good. Pasta was tender and fresh, pesto cream was soft and blended perfectly with the ricotta filling. Didnt expect the sausage to be crumbles on top but nonetheless, delicious. Also had the sausage spinach pizza; it was ok. None of the flavors really stood out lending to a bland pie. Crust was great though! I was glad they had a dedicated parking lot because street parking was terrible. Overall, would return for pasta

While our waiter was amazing, food was absolutely awful. I would heavily caution against the risotto balls, way too much breading and sauce was blown out of the water by whatever is in my fridge at home right now. Either way, irrelevant because we were both looking forward to the pasta and hungry. When we did get the pasta, both dishes were extremely undercooked vodka rigatoni I wouldn t have even had more than two bites if I wanted to. I think Olive Garden would ve been a safer option. Will never be back. Disappointed because did want to love it.

Hands down the best meal I have had at Juliet and one of the best meals I have ever had. The new chef is amazing with the veal parm. I substituted the Cesar for pasta to make it low carb. It was awesome. Even if you think you don t like veal, you will love this. The best veal I have ever had. Great job Juliet for hiring this chef. I can t wait to see what he will come up with next. The bartender , Johnny, was awesome as well, and always Alief. I love having a glass of wine, or two, while waiting for my food order and talking to Alief and Johnny. Juliet is lucky to have y all. I will let everyone at my condo know how awesome the food and service was. Thank you!!!!!

You have to visit! I was in Austin overnight for a work trip and was craving Italian. It was actually my 2nd choice after being disappointed at another spot. I m so grateful ended the night at Juliet s. Food : Some of the best past I ve ever had. I for the clams & pesto linguine. The sauce was creamy and flavor. The clams were top notch as well - seasoned and fresh! My friend ordered the chicken parmesan, he thoroughly enjoyed it. The only downside to the food was the bread and oil. Not my favorite but it wasn t terrible. The oil really just needed some balsamic vinegar. I spent about $35. I d definitely go back. Service : Mesha/Misha was great. She recommended my pasta and was spot-on. Atmosphere : Clean, quaint and appealing to the eye. Perfect for date night with indoor and outdoor seating.

In the heart of the town where the cool hipsters play, Juliet Italian Kitchen wins hearts, in its own special way. With a service so prompt, and a waiter named Nick, every dish is a masterpiece, each flavor so rich. From the mozzarella fresh, to the meatballs divine, Italian sausage and ravioli, every bite is a sign. That the culinary gods must have cooked up this feast, With ricotta so fresh, our delights never ceased. The baked rigatoni, a marvel, made my wife beam, And the pasta in butter, made our little one dream. The spicy rigatoni, with vodka sauce to adore, Though the lasagna was meaty, left us wanting more. But the charm of the place, and the drinks so fine, Assures us well return, for another dine. The pear/walnut pizza, light and so right, The carbonara and arancini, a delightful bite. The decor, the staff, all beyond compare, Juliet Italian Kitchen, a rare culinary affair. So heres to Juliet, where every dish is a song, In Austin, this haven, you can never go wrong. With a team so amazing, and flavors so true, Juliet Italian Kitchen, we toast to you!

Went to Austin for the weekend. Had a lunch date and found ourselves down towards Barton Spings. Juliet is quiet, enjoyable and has plenty of ambiance. Wonderful smells wafted from the kitchen. Cant say enough. They brought us some aromatic fresh bread and dipping oil. Along with some lightly fried Calamari, lemon and jalapenos. Tasty and not over fried. We both ordered the Shrimp Scampi. Sautéd shrimp with plenty of garlic, shallots, tomatoes and basil with a creamy white wine butter sauce on a be of angel hair pasta. It was fantastic! I highly recommend the experience. Pricing was good and the waiter was very attentive.
