Because I cant give a comment without choosing a star...You Never know who will show up at your place of business. So the customer service must always be on point! I am a food Tour Guide with a prestigious local company but showed up in my primary job in uniform for a lunch meal. I asked for a sliced beef sandwich and cole slaw. However I was charged for what I ordered to be later told that they didnt have Cole slaw. They offered me the potato salad but Im not a potato salad person so I declined. Yes I asked for moist pieces with fat. I got to work and started to eat my sandwich. I couldnt stop chewing after the first bite. So I opened my sandwich and found the from yesterday along with the veins of the fat. I called them to let them know that I couldnt eat the mess they gave me for 21.50. Sarah says, Bring it back and Ill fix it. I saved the order in its original bag and all. She looks at it turns her face up at it then throws it away. I tell her to just give me two of the specials which consist of a chopped beef sandwich, 3 hot wings, fries and a 20 oz drink for 7.00. (I chose that because I was afraid of what I might have gotten to replace my poorly sliced and rendered Slice Beef sandwich for 13.00. What I received was two orders of yesterdays wings, a chopped beef slider (mostly bun), petrified fries but the drinks were on point! Never, never, never will they get my hard earned money again!!! I tried to support a black on business that did NOT support my need for a meal that deserves my support! SOME Black Businesses MUST do better to get the support they want! HARDEMANS WILL NOT BE ON MY LIST FOR THE TOURISM OF BBQ/SOUL FOOD TOURS THAT I AM FAMOUS FOR EVER!

I have every right as a consumer to come here on this platform and express how I feel about the food that I purchased. And no I DO NOT have to waste my time and call to tell you anything.. it s straight in the garbage and never return for me I have no desire to dine in/out or get delivered that horrible food and wouldn t recommend to anyone. You invited Mr. Chimetime (Food critic) to taste your food and confirmed every negative comment.. did you ask him why he didn t call you? So again why would your business be struggling.. as you stated? Just do better people are busy and don t have money to waste!!! Baby if you re not from TX, DONT DO IT! They seem to have a misunderstanding about BBQ. What I ordered was not good at all EXCEPT the potato. It was cooked properly and very tasty. Everything else was inedible. The customer service was GREAT! The lady on the phone was SO sweet even though I was telling her I did not like her food, which I NEVER do. But I HAD to call because honestly thought it was idk I Was concerned. I thought something was wrong. (Just look for yourself. Pics below) 0/10, do not recommend unless you want a good potato. I can t speak for everything else. If you ARE from TX, this is the type of food that you re probably used to so PLEASE patronize if you want some good BBQ . They are SO sweet and professional. ! My only complaint is that I spent 70 dollars for 2 potatoes and a chicken and dressing plate. To have brisket plus an additional meat on both. She over charged me, a potatoe with meat was 16 for the potatoes with brisket, plus 3 dollars for extra meat per potatoes and an additional 3 dollars per potatoes for the links on one and sausage on the other and neither potatoes had brisket only the link for one and sausage for the other that means I was charged 12 dollars for meat I never received.

I went in and assumed I was in good hands cause Hardemans just sounds like a quality name but boy was I wrong. I ordered 2 fully baked potatoes and for $42.00 I once again assumed I was in good hands and didn t bother to check them until I got home and we were like bruhh what!!! It reminded me of a potato I made in the microwave once when I was like 12 and pulled out way too soon cause I just couldn t wait and parts were soft while others were like hard and clear looking like defrosted only yet still hard. The toppings were a mess and didn t even cover the potato. It reminded me a sloppy Joe potato. The young chick that looked like she thought she was Trina seemed too blunt and rude while the older lady at the register was so cool and nice. Worst $42 I ever spent and we ended up throwing the sloppy potatoes away and going to Pollo Regio instead. Don t go to Hardemans unless you don t care about wasting your money..

I dont usually publicly criticize one of our own establishments but after today I had too. I walked in and it wasnt crowded so I asked for a large dressing to go (quart) and large gravy. So when I told the lady that I needed more gravy because the small cup was not big enough for the large dressing she got all upset huffing and puffing talking under her breath so the other lady on the cash register came over and said they couldnt sail it no bigger than that! All the while the other lady talking on the phone still mad and putting the food down hard on the table! I started to walk out!! But I have patronize here for a while and perhaps she was having a bad day but this have me thinking about not coming back..

Yuck! Everything was yuck! I ordered 2 meals, 1. chicken fried steak with pinto beans and mashed potatoes & 2. ribs with beans/rice and yams. Not one thing on that plate tasted like it should. If felt like 7 day leftovers. Chicken fried steak definitely wasnt steak and neither it or the potatoes came with any gravy. Mashed potatoes were so freaking dry. The beans/rice had a entire vat of salt in them, inedible. The ribs were both rubbery and dry..make is make sense please. And their bbq sauce is beyond watery. My first time visiting this location it was about 7:25pm and they were closing at 8:00pm. When I walked in all the food they normally have in the front was gone and there was a lady cleaning the area where the food is kept. I asked are you all closed? She said they were out of plate lunches and only had bar-b-que. I thought to myself were they really out or did she hurry up and put everything up for the night because she was ready to get out of there! Im going to go with what I thought, so I left. I decided to give them another chance yesterday(it was around 3 something almost 4 they closed at 5) and we came back there was food this time. My husband and I wanted ox tails but there were hardly any left. I politely asked the lady do you have any more ox tails? She asked another employee did they have any more and the other employee said thats enough right there for two plates. EXCUSE me?!! Clearly it wasnt other wise I wouldnt have asked. Im not one of those picky customers at all and there really werent enough. It was the last of the last left. So again, I left with no food but I wont be back. Definitely a hole-in-the-wall establishment . But don t let that deprive you of the delicious mac & cheese they have. Ultimately, what makes this restaurant unique is their great tasting barbecue hot sauce. I m a big believer that sauces can make or break restaurants and they got it just right. I recommend the 2 meat plate with the links. In my order through Uber Eats pictured below, I have sliced beef with links, mashed potatoes, and mac&cheese. The Mac is excellent. The mashed potatoes is decent. The links are great. And the sliced beef is decent as well. One thing I will say is that I did not enjoy their peach cobbler. I felt as if it had rosemary. But they have other desserts like pecan pie, my favorite type of pie. Definitely worth a visit AT LEAST once! I did not rate this place because in the past this was one of my favorite places to go. Just recently all that has changed. My husband stopped by there a couple of days ago to get supper because we both work at night. No time and to tired to cook. He got the fried chops and the meat patties. Some for that night and some for the next night. The next night I had the meat patty a couple of sides. I went to cut the patty I found long ,long gray hair . I was disappointed on yesterday for the first time. I picked up a pork chop basket on yesterday. As it turns out, I left with scattered fries, one fresh pork chop and one that was either old or sat under the light too long. It was dry and parts of the meat was brown, due to dryness. Everything looked delicious and was to the eye, though. It wont stop my patronage, but thing will now bear watching.

I stopped going to this place after I went when they reopened. Now they have trimmed down the plates unless you are a man. Before they served nice portions, now its like they wont fill the spoon. And if they do accidentally give you to much they take it back. Like this one time I go, they have baked Chicken, white or dark meat 2 pieces. I ordered white a breast and wing connected, just like the leg and thigh connected right? The lady serving me say thats a big breast next week I go order white meat they give me a breast. So the next week I go and ask for dark meat, how bout they give me a leg and thigh connected same price for a breast not connected to a wing. So my question is: who got my wing last week? Ordered fully loaded potatoes with extra brisket..there wasnt extra brisket. The meat wasnt saucy...the chicken tetrizini didnt have flavor. The yams tasted stringy and werent sweet at all and the beans were soggy. Spent over $80 and wasnt pleased.

Oh my gosh. Hardemans has me still in bed sick this morning. I went yesterday and got pork chops, came home ,ate it and threw up everywhere. Before i ate it i gave my yorky (spanky) a piece and a few hrs after i threw it up, he threw the chops up as well. I just woke up, still in bed feeling a little better, but still feeling sick. Dam.
