I 100% would not recommend this bar to anyone. I visited last night with some friends just to find a $140 charge on my account the next morning. All I had was an order of fries and I closed out my tab before we left, everyone else payed individually as well. I ve tried contacting them multiple times to ask why this has happened, but they have not answered any of my calls. This is beyond sketchy activity and they should be ashamed how they treat customers.

I recently visited Jack & Gingers at The Domain, and it was a great spot to unwind. I started with a draft beer, and their selection was impressive lots of local options, which I appreciate. The beer was cold and fresh, just what I needed.For appetizers, I went with a couple of their offerings, and they didnt disappoint. The portions were generous, and the flavors were spot on. The atmosphere at Jack & Gingers is lively, with a nice blend of indoor and outdoor seating, making it perfect for any weather. The service was quick and friendly, rounding out a solid experience. Ill definitely be back, especially for their beer selection.

Phenomenally fun spot in North Austin. Always a fun place to watch a match, or to just chat over a few beers. Love Jack and Ginger s, will be back again soon this fall. Has a phenomenal Guinness pour, and an amazing fish and chips. About as good as Irish Pub Grub gets in Central Texas.

As a proud member of the burgeoning Irish Diaspora in Central Texas, it warms the cockles of my damaged Hibernian heart to discover an Emerald Gem known as Jack & Gingers. With both indoor and outdoor seating, one can enjoy Old World Celtic charm coupled with a decent internet connection. This enthralled patron was dazzled with numerous and varied draught beer selection. The visit s highest point was the server named Faith. I m quite certain that Faith s expedience and courtesy is why the venue is always well-attended. There are a number of Irish-themed establishments in the region. Having said that, green paint and wood paneling is not everything. Attentive and friendly service as Faith has demonstrated gives Jack & Ginger s that intangible it factor that generates the return business. Please commend Faith with the highest accolades that protocols allow.

I wanted to send a giant thank you to Halle, our server. She stopped by our table and took our order. She researched the menu and found what we were looking for. I had a black berry mead that was nice and fruity as well as smooth tasting. My friends had some bourbon drinks. They, too, enjoyed their beverages. Halle checked on us every time she passed by. Vibrant Irish pub in the heart of the Domain. Great place to watch sports! My friends and I have made Jack & Ginger our home to watch soccer matches. Here s my experience in a nutshell: Atmosphere: No need for reservation, you can seat yourself. Free parking is available. It s a lively atmosphere. Plenty of TVs and places to sit including long picnic benches. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Service: Great service! Our server was attentive and understood giving us space as we watched the game. Food came on time and well served; the server checked in occasionally but gave us space. Food: Food prices are very reasonable. The food was delicious! I was very impressed. They had healthy options - as healthy as can be at a Pub. I ordered a grilled chicken burger with grilled broccoli. My only concern was there was A LOT of butter on the food. I would have preferred less grease.

So I guess Im writing this In Every language I know how to speak so people can know what the experience was we got yelled, humiliated and discriminated for asking to be charged what we consumed as we were undercharged. There is really few people in this world that will like to be charged accordingly, we got undercharged, first we were not offered an itemized bill by the bartenders and second after we asked to get charged accordingly because we were undercharged things the bartender mention that my husband was too old and it was not a bar for someone his age. (40 s) I guess this bar consider people older than 23 too old to even pay attention too Im sorry but I dont consider this is the treatment veterans of the USA should get not even close . Is not respectful I am 27 and that my husband is in his 40s I dont consider is a reason to get treated as we were yelled at at the middle of our few nights together by a bartender that just has zero customer service and should not have a job at all . So I suppose that I am writing this in every language that I have to say so that people can know what the experience was in which we shouted, humiliated and discriminated in order to make us cobran what we consume, so that we cobraron less. They advertise they are an Irish style pub but their food is more American than irish. Additionally the music is your standard 97.5FM radio station. I ordered a burger and asked for it to be medium cooked and recieved a well done patty that was very dry. The fries were pretty good. We ordered fried pickles was okay, not the best. The pickles and breading completely separated so when you take a bite the breading will come completely off. The mixed drinks arent great, they taste watered down. The beer is good, but the price for them for the size isnt worth it.

A buddy and I stopped in on a Thursday night and sat at the bar inside. We ordered a couple of beers (the Kona was a great choice), fried pickles & pigs in blankets (the spicy mustard was amazing), and each ordered the Fish & Chips. The fish and chips comes with green beans which were good but felt non-traditional for an Irish pub. Overall a good experience, but would have liked to see the bar staff a little more attentive.

Horrible service. I m the only one at the bar. The bartender is running her mouth at the other end of the bar with someone. She finally comes over and I order a beer and would like a menu. I get the beer and she wants me to run a tab so I gave her my credit card. She kept it and I said I don t let bars hold my card so she ran my tab and walked back running her mouth with the person at the other end of the bar. I never got a menu and she never came back. I love this place. Great people watching, solid food options, great beers and cocktails. Highly suggest the shrimp corn dogs and the reuben potato skins for a heavy snack. Frequent this bar often as it gives a nice neighborhood bar kind of vibe (minus Fridays and Saturdays), drinks are mostly fairly priced and has a wide beer selection on tap! The food is fantastic and served fresh. Staff is half and half, had some really good bartenders that love to talk with the customers and then some that serve a drink and ignore the customers existence sometimes even being ignored while wanting to order. management should also consider cleaning up the place some and fixing it up. It s slowly becoming slightly defunct and for no good reason. The men s bathroom stall door has been broken for the past year with graffiti around. The dart board needs replaced and chalk cleaned. A refresh of cocktail list could also be a nice change.

We stopped in for a quick beer while the ladies were out shopping. There were two football games on the multiple TVs. A small crowd was cheering on their teams and having a great time. We walked up to the bar, ordered our beers, and found a seat. Bar tenders were taking care of everyone promptly, and servers were bringing out food that looked good. We needed to pass on food, but seeing it did make us hungry. We will be back when we have more time. Good Irish bar. They have a good vibe for sports viewing. We watch a NFL game here. They have some excellent drinks. I recommend trying the smoked old fashioned cocktail. Fish and chips were amazing. When I got it I was disappointed because it was just one piece, but it is a big piece, and I struggled to finish. Perfectly battered and crispy, nice crispy thick fries, and amazing roasted green beans with bits of crispy garlic. Paired with a pint of Smithwicks, its just lovely. They have an impressive selection of beer on tap, and a full bar, it is in my rotation of regular stops in the Domain.

Well, first of all for an establishment to not answer their phone for over an hour and then not get a return phone call for two days is amazing to me. Thank goodness for the kind person across the street at the Chinese place. My purse was left there Sunday morning, and I could not even get a hold of anyone to see if it was still there. my bad for leaving my purse. Had one drink and the bartender was the rudest person I ve ever encountered. Apparently you guys have a reputation for being rude and most people that work in that area stay away from your restaurant. Was only there for the weekend, but come to Austin frequently. Only bar on Rock Rose I don t go to. Jack & Gingers, 77 degrees, and Wonderbar are all owned by the same guys and they re all next to each other. The other two places are great, but I always have a bad experience every time I come here. Like one time I asked the bartender how much 8 Irish car bombs would be (it was my friend s birthday so I wanted to treat everyone to something fun) and she told me one price, but the bill ended up being like $30 more than she told me. The place is good, it is spacious, with many places to sit both inside and outside, and in general it has a very good atmosphere. They have quite a variety of beers and ciders, but the ones included in the Happy Hour flight are terrible, I wouldnt recommend those in particular.

This may have once been a neat pub, but its a cheap attempt that seems to rely on casual visitors in the area for soccer matches. Decor is dingy and not well kept, with sticky greasy floors throughout, and the smell of stale beer. Its essentially what you would expect if an old frat guy opened a beer hall in the image of what he *thinks* an Irish pub should look like from central casting. The food was ok, but far from special - essentially Sysco favorites warmed up. Want a quick cold beer and bar snacks, then come here. Want something resembling a proper public house, then save your time.

A decent bar with great beer and liqour selection . Service was spread out and first drink was poorly made but the server corrected it. Parking: Street parking is usually full but there is a free convenient parking garage behind the bar.

My family and I love Jack and Ginger s! We come here very often and love the pretzels and wings. Beer selection is great and I love their hard kombuchas too. I did order an Irish coffee cocktail and the specials menu listed that it came with whipped cream, but the drink didn t come out with whipped cream and the waitress told us that they don t carry whipped cream in the store. But other than that, this place is great.

We waited for 10 min inside with no one helping us. We moved outside and waited another 10 minutes and no one helped us we went to the bar and asked if we should order at the bar and were told no frustrating

Definitely an Irish pub with lots of beer choices and great outdoor seating. Would not get the chicken wings again, they were tough but not crispy and way to saucy.

Stopped in on a whim while walking by today. My Wife and daughter were shooping the Domain. Just had a great atmosphere. It was kinda slow. Bartender hooked me up with a pint. Watched some soccer. Loved it. Will definitely go back and try some food next time. Just a cool pub feel.
