I am very disappointed in the service they provided me. I didnt have good advice and I ended up losing a lot of money, to think that I did have a lawyer and my ex-husband didnt. Still I lost. But they do charge for everything, even the smallest thing. Really do a good search before hiring here. I had an appointment with another lawyer and they told me that there are already several cases that go wrong with Iris.

We had an extremely difficult immigration case we have been working on for a year and a half and we were unhappy with the way our previous lawyer was handling it. Once discussing the case with Iris, I was convinced she was the right lawyer to follow through the case. It took less than a year to completely resolve it. She was able to do so navigating through all the Covid-19 Pandemic challenges and especially the challenges the immigration agency went through. I highly recommend her services. Lawyer Iris Albizu, since I met her, I realized that she is not like a typical lawyer who just does her job and thats it. She fights with her heart, has empathy with your case, gets involved in everything and makes you feel safe and protected. and that with her nothing bad is going to happen to you. What if I recommend it?... OF COURSE I RECOMMEND IT 100%. Apart from their services, which are excellent, their work team is something else . From Julieta (who is the receptionist) who always answers you kindly and with such a beautiful humor. (My case was in November 2019) I had no choice but to choose 1 star, there wasnt an option to choose less. Ms.Iris not only did the worst job on my case, in my opinion I couldve gotten better results representing myself, not only did I pay more then I wouldve even If didnt so anything at all, I also was put on a 120 months (10 years) civil probation because of her representing me. I dont know how she does when you hire her, but she was my court appointed attorney, which every lawyer I believe has to do a certain amount of pro bono case, trust me she did everything possible to get my case over with as quick as possible even if it hurt my case If this is how she works on the pro bono cases, Im sure she doesnt do too much more when shes hired. I have no idea where her good reviews are coming from, from friends, family or legit, but my case is worst then It was when it began. In fact she barely replied to my email questions, an attorney I consulted through lawyer referral service for a $20 consultation fee guided me better, and filled out a child support modification application for me, she told me that I can modify my child support but since she is not assigned in that portion of the child support she is not allowed to fill out anything for me I can hire her I think she said at $200 per hour and she can fill out those 4 pages that took the other attorney less then 5 minutes to do out of good will. Im sorry to say, but I wouldnt recommend Ms Iris even as a free court appointed attorney to anyone I know.

They dont have good service they tell you one thing and they do something different I ask a an appt over the phone for an consultation over the phone they give me an appt for Nov 27 at 3 I call they told me the Attorney couldnt take my call because she was busy and since I was going into the office and paying for the consultation i would not be able to talk to her I told them if that was the problem I could paid I just need to Get in touch with the attorney they told.me no that would have to be on the attorneys time and not mine time and i ask what is the point of asking for the appt if not am really an appt and top of that they hang up pn me ....i felt at this office is all about the money and not helping anyone

The WORST lawyer there is in Austin, dont trust her, she just sold me to the opposing party pretending that she was helping me, but every time I gave her evidence she ran to her computer or phone to give the evidence to the opposing lawyer. Wrongly writing the motions submitted in court, and me being accused that they were wrongly written when it is her job to write them but always assuming that she knows a lot about law and that she took two exams at the bar. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS LADY FOR PUTTING WORDS IN THE MOUTH OF HER CLIENTS, BUT IF SHE ALWAYS WANTS TO COVER HER BACK VERY WELL, DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON HER. I can only tell her that God bless her and she has children, I only went to seek help for my daughter but she doesnt care about those, sadly she only wants to gain a reputation among the community of lawyers but that doesnt mean she helps her clients. May God Bless her and I will keep her in my prayers so that she never suffers what I am suffering, because this life takes many turns, sometimes we are up but you never know when we are going to be down and that is when you pay everything that is done.
