Public areas were dirty often. Other than that typical Hyatt. Plus side with this hotel if you have to travel between Dallas and Austin or Austin Houston, Vonlane stops here, so convenient when traveling to Austin for business.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Hyatt Regency. The location was perfect, right next to the trail and lake, with restaurants within walking distance. The room was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Although we encountered a small hiccup at check-in (we had booked a room with a river view but were placed in a different one), Connor at the front desk swiftly resolved the issue and transferred us to the correct room. The pool was at the perfect temperature, and overall, we had a wonderful experience. We will definitely be returning!

Have used this hotel for many business meetings. I think it has some of the best of view of ladybird Lake in the city Convenience for those touring the Bats, It s a literally across the street and up to blocks to the bats. Staff is definitely right on par from what is to be expected from a Hyatt Regency. I think they have some of the best suites In comparison with other cities. You will also find a room tremendously affordable. Rooms: Probably some of the best value in the city of austin Nearby activities: Nestled in the heart of South Congress. 10 minutes from everywhere. Walkability: Extremely close proximity to viewing the Bats

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Austin on the 14th floor facing the water. The view was spectacular. The building itself is fine. Nothing to write home about. The room was what you would expect from a decent hotel and a very good size. Valet parking was $50+, I remember when valet used to be $26 here and self park was free. Crazy that its double now. The location is still the main selling point to me.

Checked in 8/31 Saturday and checked out 9/2 Monday. Sunday 9/1 woke up itchy and didn t think much of it. Monday woke up more itchy with red bites all over me. BED bugs! I m so disgusted and disappointed. The hotel was nice, had a great view, seemed very luxurious. Stayed in a corner king room with view. Assumed I was in the clear until we both woke up covered in bites. Doesn t matter how nice the hotel is always check for bed bugs! I had to learn the hard way. Rooms: BED BUGS do no discriminate doesn t matter how nice hotel is.

This was an excellent hotel. Beautiful area with a nice view of the river and city. Easy access to the trail on the river. There is a bat bar to view the bats and have a drink at sunset. The hotel had complimentary tea, beer, and popsicles when we stayed. They also gave toys to our kids. We would easily stay here again- it was even cheaper than other options nearby.

We had a wonderful three-night stay at the hotel, which exceeded expectations. The location and view were phenomenal, including having a wonderful river view from both our room and the pool and restaurant, as well as being steps from the Congress bridge for bat viewing and close to water rentals etc. Great location, friendly capable staff, offering extras that other hotels may charge for- we will stay here again next time in Austin.

Always a great experience in staying Hyatt Regency Austin. I use reward night and points to book two separate reservations for two night stay. As suite night award can not be applied to free night reward, I thought that I might have to move room around. They are so kind enough to combine my two reservations into one and offer a gorgeous suite with two queen beds as we have family of four. Receive a greeting card along with the cookies on 2nd day after returning back from lunch. The room had been well cleaned. Will definitely stay again on our next family trip to Austin. One great advantage is you can rent kayaks at the back yard of the hotel. It is so convenient. It s also a great spot to observe bats after sunset. We didn t see any this time but we had seen it few times before.

The hotel was nice and modest. However, the customer service was very horrible. I was playing music in the room I was staying at and aparently people next door complained which I was not aware of. I did not get a call from the front or anything. They knocked on my door calling themselves secuirty and when I open the door it was two ladies that said I need to turn off the music or I was going to be kicked out. I was very upset they way they were talking to me and I would have appreciate it if I was talk to in a nice manner. Im a very simple person and if I got a courtesy call regarding the music, it would of been no problem of me turning it off and the front desk people need to be more polite on how they approach the situation.

So very happy with the location and friendliness of the staff at this hotel. It is right on the water and was so easy to jump on the walking path. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, especially the omelette station. Pearl was our waitress and she was just delightful! Looking forward to having breakfast there again tomorrow! The level of hospitality shown by the staff is a complete other level. From the moment I pulled in Colin and the valet staff were already setting the tone. Great location for conferences and tourists - river tours leave from the backside of the hotel and you can see the bats under the Congress bridge from the restaurant. Rooms are updated and have great views, one star off for the chromecast option not working in our room. Valet is helpful and friendly (thanks John!), and the CVS vending machine is super convenient, only missing diapers and wipes (maybe they sold out).
