Based on my experience here, this hotel was great overall. The location is fantastic with various places within a very short walking distance (examples: restaurants such as Snow Pea and more, HEB grocery store, Alamo Drafthouse Movie Theater, etc.). The customer service I received at the hotel was very good. The hotel was comfortable and it maintained a comfortable, modern atmosphere. There is a bar and breakfast for purchase in the mornings (approx. prices are $6, $7, etc.). The A/C in my room took a while to cool down when I lowered the thermostat (it was placed high when I first entered), but it worked just fine. Throughout the day and night, I could hardly hear any noise from the surrounding rooms. Free parking. I would definitely recommend this place and would return.

Not happy with this stay. Dead crickets on the carpet so who knows when it was vacuumed last. Mini fridge was not usable do to the horrid smell. When opened, it stunk up my entire room and had to go buy spray. Really needed the mini fridge for my vitamins and medications. Shower drain smelled 100 times worse than that so my showers had to be super quick and was not able to relax. TV turned on by itself full volume one night. Desk was dirty and dusty so I couldnt work there until I cleaned it. Bathroom counters were dirty also. Asked for wake up call at 9am and the phone rang at 844am and wouldnt stop so I had to unplug it and plug it back in. One of the blinds wouldnt close completely. Had a man working there have an attitude because I parked up front to unload my luggage. People running up and down the halls at 1am making noise. No one asked how my stay was at checkout. Wasnt asked for an email to confirm check in/out. Definitely wasnt worth the price I paid.

Don t know what s with all the other 3 star reviews but I had no problem with staying at this location. Rooms were clean and quiet. The location was in walking distance to tons of restaurants, a movie theater, HEB groceries which I found surprisingly when it risk business being taking from them with folks eating at the hotel. Staff was pretty chill and professional. Greeted you as you came and go. Front lobby and bar area decor was nice. The Gym area was great and very clean. I think they definitely deserve much more than 3 stars. Nearby activities: Alamo Draft House Movie Theater was in walking distance which was great. Walkability: Restaurants. Movie theater, Frozen yogurt place, nail salon and many more things I walking distance Food and drinks: Tons of restaurants in walking distant of the parking lot. HEB grocery store was also within walking distances.

We had several customers fly in for our grand opening who had things stolen from the room while they were out. I am a platinum Bonvoy member and have never heard of the terrible customer service from a Marriott property like I heard about from this one. Stay away until management changes and they secure the rooms.

Video shows double-queen room with a high-floor view. Nearby mall, Costco, Walmart and restaurants. How to improve experience: some minor maintenance work is required, such as a small light over bed, window shade roller is hard to pull down and lift up, TV remote not fully functional. I needed their help and staff was friendly and responsive to my request.I would stay here again if I visit the city, overall , a very good value.

We stayed for 4 nights and over all had a good visit. Staying that long I felt like we needed a room freshen around day 2 but the could not do that, we were given new towels though, that was nice. Pros- the front desk staff was very kind and had some good recommendations on places to go/ visit The gym was nice and was great for a quick workout The hot tub worked well Cons- the room temperature was either like a sauna or an ice box and would not settle in a good middle ground The pillows are too soft they were really uncomfortable. Breakfast has little to no gluten free choices and staff could not make changes to the food in the menu. On our last day the cleaning team just walked in our room without knocking. Kind of shocking for everyone.

I have stayed at this Aloft several times and have had exceptional experiences. I want to commend Lester and Daniel, two outstanding associates who consistently go above and beyond. They warmly welcome every guest with a smile and maintain a pleasant demeanor, creating a great atmosphere. I also want to mention that the general manager, Taylor, has helped contribute to my amazing experience. The housekeeping staff also deserves praise for keeping the hotel clean, fresh-smelling, and always being kind and accommodating whenever I needed a replacement towel. Overall, my stays have been fantastic, and I look forward to many more stays at Aloft. Thank you for the excellent service and hospitality!

Booked a room, specifically asked for a double bed and non smoking. Got put in a room that not only smelled like someone chain smoked a cigar in there but when asked to be moved to a different room the front desks solution was well we can light a candle Definitely don t recommend. Dont stay here. They have a BBB rating of D+ for a reason...First of all they charge for dogs (unlike the 20 other alofts Ive stayed at) but that isnt even the worst of it. The staff are either not trained well or dont want to be there, cant tell which. The girl who checked us in charged us for the room despite us prepaying with Priceline plus desposit, this caused us to have $273 tied up for no reason and for a one night stay. The second aloft we stayed at in San Antonio didnt do any of this shady behavior. The property is clean and pool is nice but never in my life have I had so much money unnessarily withheld for one night. Priceline + Deposit + Pet Fee + Aloft room charge = over $500.

Never staying here again, you can hear every noise around the hotel, inside and outside. People running up and down the halls, screaming and yelling, slamming doors. The only thing smooth was check in. Picked this place due to its reviews but I will never stay at another Aloft branded hotel after this. Room was clean but there was water damage from the shower leaking to the other side of the wall, no privacy covers for peep holes, shades don t do a good job of keeping light out, hair in the towels, room is more like a military barracks room than a hotel room. Cleaning starts earlier than what I m used to and the cleaning crew loves to test their vocals in the rooms while they clean, I m happy they seem happy but there are still people sleeping at 7:30am. Pretty central location and I can t comment on the service other than when I checked in as I wasn t making it a point to hang out in the room or at the hotel.

Check in was smooth. Receptionist was friendly and welcoming. Amenities like the indoor pool closes at a decent time 11pm unlike some hotels that close super early. Hotel room itself was super clean and had a nice smell upon entering. The shower was gorgeous!! The TV had channels like Starz that Id normally in my hometown (Killeen, TX) have to hook up my personal firestick to watch NICE TOUCH. The only downfall was the breakfast wasnt COMPLIMENTARY. Im pregnant and love to eat on a budget from time to time so this was heartbreaking lol (ok a bit dramatic but you get the point)

The hotel room was different, in a good way. The bathroom/sink, and coffee area were together right as you come in the room. Then on the other side of the wall was the bed, desk, TV etc. Ceiling height sliding doors to access a closet and the shower/toilet. Cool. Pantry of things available for purchase. Pool. Hot tub (that was out of order). Bar. Patio. Fitness room. 24 hour front desk. The staff we encountered were amazing. Notes of appreciation: pool towels big- the size of a beach towel. Actual bar on site. To sit and order drinks. Staff all super friendly. Easy access to everything you need, but we had wanted to be close to downtown. Not the hotels issue. Just a bummer for us that we had to pay to commute every day. That was our travel agents fault. Looked like plenty of parking, at least 2 elevators, several lounge or common areas.

Aloft Very nice hotel . HOWEVER, this review is in reference to Aloft Austin Northwest (Lakeline Mall area) Austin, TX location MANAGER on duty name SUSIE the name she gave me. Back story I wanted to extend my stay and in the end they stated they didn t have a room avl (I was told, VERY RUDELY). I ask the manager Susie what was her name, she said Susie, and I asked what was her last name . and I was told I don t need her last name, she is the only Susie there. Yes, pause! I did too (what kind of manager actually tells a guest this! A guest that has not been rude or disrespectful at all. So proceeding I realize I am dealing with a manager who has absolutely no training on dealing with customers and communicating professionally. So, I let Susie know just that she is rude and I asked for the corporate number for customer complaints. This manager Susie, told me to GOOGLE IT, she don t have the number. Again, pause! I did too!! What manager tells a guest/client/customer to google a number. By now, enough was enough. I was pretty much done talking to this lady and her last thing was You can leave now because you are not a guest here anymore. I was so teed off at this point. First off, I stayed there for 2 NIGHTS and now that I have checked out, this young lady had the audacity to tell me I m not a guest and to leave. By now, it was best for me to go before it went any further. At any rate, I have never been so humiliated by a manager A manager within Marriott at that. This hotel does not deserve any of my paid money and I WILL BE SEEKING LEGAL ADVICE. For the record Marriott nor any other business, should employee anyone of such caliber representing their team. This manager was SO RUDE and it was so unnecessary. I have never came across such poor management communication skills ever in my life. However, they will hear from me again. / FURTHER BACK STORY I initially called the front desk to see about extending my stay for an extra night. The front desk clerk, Vanessa said she needed to speak with her manager Susie. Vanessa called back said they did not have any rooms available . Great, no problem! I ask if I could call back shortly and see if anything may have come up, Vanessa said yes of course, that will be fine. So I took it upon myself to check their company website online shortly after and it said they have rooms available, so I booked it. Before I could even call the hotel back, SUSIE their manager called my phone and was RUDE right off the top saying, We don t have any rooms available, I need you to check out . I calmly told Susie it says you all have rooms online on the aloft website, why is that! She automatically jumped to defense saying we don t have any rooms, can I get there in 30 mins or do I want them to pack my things and put it in the back office. I told the manager no, I do not need anyone touching my things, I ll be right over and if I can have her name because she was so rude unnecessarily. After arriving back to the hotel, I spoke with Susie face to face to let her know the way she spoke over the phone was very unprofessional and her response was I m sorry you feel that way . She then threatened to call the police as if I was refusing to leave. I told her I didn t have a problem with leaving, my reason for being there is to speak with MANAGEMENT about the service and I was receiving, her lack of communication skills, and how to better serve customers in the future ALL WAS A COMPLETE FAILURE. I have been a guest at this hotel for many years and have always enjoyed my stays. However, since my most recent visits after COVID-19, Ive noticed a disappointing decline in the level of service and attention to detail that I had come to expect from this property. While I understand the challenges posed by the pandemic, it seems basics (like so many properties) are no longer being met. During my last stay, housekeeping did not tidy my room on a daily basis as they had done previously. While I can understand cutbacks and worker issues, its hard to watch services degrade. Even more concerning was the lack of hot water during my entire stay. While they did inform me on check-in there was no material offer to compensate for the inconvenience. I have always enjoyed the location, amenities and staff at this hotel. I sincerely hope management will address these issues, as attention to detail can go a long way in providing guests with the high-quality experience they expect. I look forward to seeing improvements during future visits and being able to recommend this hotel as strongly as I have in the past.

My experience here was mostly great! The pool is amazing, the food is pretty good, and the room (and everything, really) was super clean. Housekeeping does a PHENOMENAL job, please show them my appreciation. The front desk staff was also super friendly and kind. The only thing I wasnt a fan of was going to the bar Friday night (11/17). The bartender was rather cold, and not at all helpful. I placed a food order and he asked if I wanted a drink. I said I dont know what kind of drinks I enjoy, as I havent found one I truly like yet. He immediately responded okay then we can close the tab. No offer to suggest something or anything. After placing my order he just sat behind the bar playing on his phone. I wouldve appreciated it if he at least offered to make a suggestion to something I might like. Given how kind and helpful every other department was the whole weekend, he definitely stood out as more unpleasant. Hopefully it was just a bad night for him though.

I enjoyed my stay at Aloft. It was very clean and unique. The beds are comfy and this particular location was perfect. Its located near the mall, movie theater, Starbucks, HEB, Menchies, Chilis, and many more places to eat or enjoy. Parking was adequate and they do have a bar but I didnt use it on this stay. There is also a food/drink/coffee/snack area for various prices if you needed something quick. I would stay there again if Im ever in the area.

I came here because I needed surgeryy at a hospital near by. When I checked out, I left my clothes in the closet. I realized what I had done 2 days later and called the office. I was told they will check with house cleaning at 3 pm. I told them Im out of down and that I had to come to Austin to see my Dr that morning,and asked if they could check on my belongings sooner.The lady said she would call me,but she never did. I called back the next day and was told that the cleaning lady may have put my clothes in her car,and not in lost and found. The cleaning lady was not in,and I have yet to hear back from them. Im live out of town,so now it would be an extra trip to go get my belongings . Sounds like theft to me.

I booked this room at the last minute, and was able to get a very nice room at a reasonable rate! The staff is very friendly I get cold at night, and they brought me extra blankets to stay warm. The Wi-Fi was strong enough for me to have a few business meetings. highly recommended.

Nice hotel for a business trip. Located near to shipping mall in calm area. Clean rooms, service every other day. Free parking, refreshment at the reception 24/7 (paid extra). Great and helpful staff at the reception. The only disadvantage are strong lights at the parking lot so you need to put windows blinds down for the night.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff at the Aloft NW Austin, especially Taylor- she was a God send. I thought I had lost my rental car fob to find out it was actually locked in the car- didn t know you could do that but you can. From the missing fob and locked car, to the first call to the rental agency, to the tow truck arrival (that was the rental cars original solution ), to calling an unneeded Uber after the tow truck couldn t tow the car, to my phone dying and them loaning me a charger, to finally reaching a rental agent who remotely unlocked the car, to discovering the fob was in the console, to joy and celebration Taylor and Sylvia were there each step of the way. I travel extensively for work and this hotel and staff are the BEST!!

Our family of 4 has stayed very comfortably in the double queen room. The staff was very friendly from the front desk to house keeping. I think the most surprising thing to me was seeing they actually steam the carpets in the hotel which I normally don t see. Everything was nice and clean. Tiffany at the front desk was very helpful with room accommodations her personality was upbeat and very positive. We were able to go to the movie as one is walking distance from the hotel and a mall and a heb we will 100% be booking this location again it s also really close to biking trails and very nice kid parks.

Stayed here for a weekend with my daughter. The room was pretty clean but there was no house keeping while we were there. I was told it was every other day. The toilet paper roll was half gone when we checked into the room and the towels were sort of just thrown in the bathroom. Nice hotel though. It was quiet which was a plus but I wasnt in the hotel during the live music. Walkability: The hotel is right next to the mall, movie theater and grocery store plus some restaurants are too far away. Front desk service was horrible and charged me extra fee without any notice. I had to check my credit card history to let them know that they charged room fee twice. The rooms are amazing, bed is comfy, a million different lights depending on how many you sleep with on, and walk in showers <3. The cosmetic ammenities are from Drybar which is amazing and they smell great. The icing on the cake for me was the team at the desk. They were all so amazing, social, and friendly to me! Check your credit card statements throughly. Booked on Expedia. I am being charged twice. Once on Expedia and once directly from Aloft. These are not pending charges either, they are already posted. I ended up finding out a few days after the fact. You have to press zero when calling to speak to front desk. They apologized and said they caught the error and issued the refund a few days earlier. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I don t know if I can trust them again. For all I know it was deliberate and a refund wouldn t have been issued unless I noticed the double charge. If they are being honest why didn t they notify me of the duplicate charge and refund? Why wait until I call to complain? Very suspicious.

This hotel is very nice and clean. The rooms are very quiet. You could not hear the neighbors. My daughter and I were able to relax and enjoy the pool, hot tub and live music. The location is close to lots of shopping and a movie theater. They are very pet friendly. The staff from the time we arrived until we left were very friendly. Upon arrival the lobby was nice small bar, pool table and on the night we stayed there was a guy playing live music which was cool. The staff was friendly, however the room itself was not up to par compared to the Alofs we ve stayed in multiple times in south and southwest Austin. The room decor was drab and the showers tiles had mildew. Also there was a stain on the sheets that I noticed the next morning and it did not come from us. We will not be staying here again. Rooms: Need better cleaning and wash bedding better.

Very convenient, great amenities, theres a bar and a pool table, jacuzzi and a pool. For a quick trip and wanting more comfortable, this is the place. Rooms: The rooms have just the right amount space, the beds are really comfortable. Room was clean and spacious in the bed area. Pillows were too small for the bed. Bed was comfy. Was nice how they managed to fit the closet, drawers, safe, coffee machine, fridge, sink, toilet, and shower in that entrance area. But the toilet/shower door separated the hand towels from the sink. Plenty of light and mirrors. The switches take a bit to figure out what they operate. The fitness center is tight but has a cable machine. The bar was lively when I arrived on a Thursday night.

Looking forward to revisiting this hotel. My stay was very nice for the most part and the staff was great. The only problem I had was that I was military and I asked about the military and was not allowed to have that discount even with that I will try to revisit this hotel and get the full enjoyment of comfortably. Rooms: The rooms were very nice and clean. I had no issue with the room for the most part; however, I noticed a few very tiny insects on the last day that I notice before checkout crawling on the table. Nearby activities: I really loved the location. It was close to shopping and eateries and even an HEB groceries was located in the next parking lot. It was conveniently located right off the main expressway, IH 183, which connected to IH 35, which I used to make my way home. I would love to stay there for this reason alone. Safety: I selected this hotel for safety and I did feel safe for my safe. Walkability: It was in close distance to a shopping mall, a gas station, and a big nice grocery store. Food and drinks: I was not sure if breakfast was free and I did not get a breakfast while I was there. It was my understanding that you should ask for a menu and select something from that menu for the next day which I did and I noticed price; but, although I made a selection, I never received a breakfast while I was there. The also have a bar and live entertainment which I would appreciate if I had not been to busy to enjoy at the time. Noteworthy details: Nicely located, safe surrounding, close to shopping and a gym.

This was a nice, modern hotel with something for everyone. I brought two teens but they weren t allowed on pool table. 18+. The pool and hot tub were decent and I saw them cleaning out during the stay. The outside common area is great. There is a bar and drinks are nicely priced but bar closes at 11p. Not sure it s meant to be a family stay but ok. No breakfast. Overpriced snack bar. We used H-E-B. It is a great location. The rooms were a little tight and I did not like the coffee in the bathroom but overall, it was nice. Comfy beds. I loved the shower. Lots of in/out access but side doors locked at 8p with no key access. I didn t like that too much either, as I like to park where I can see my car. Walking path and lots of parking. Our window opened but a note in the elevator said to close at night to avoid bats. Overall a very nice first stay. Will consider them again in other cities!

The place is aesthetically pleasing, BUT we paid a good amount of money to have broken bed lamps, the windows in the room wouldn t close, I fell in shower and hurt myself pretty badly. Breakfast is not included or coffee for that matter. The coffee in the room is basically flavored water. The shampoo and conditioner leaves your hair feeling extremely oily not clean. The access points around the building are broken so you have to go in through the front door. And lastly could have done without the attitude from the overnight staff. Do not recommend.

If you want to get talked down to by the front desk people this is exactly where to go. Ive never felt so disrespected at a hotel before. I wouldnt recommend the experience to anyone. I asked if they had complimentary breakfast and the guy responded with well only for members ..Im a member... You need to have a higher status ...how do you know my status if I didnt even give you my info. Shame on you. I wasnt asking for free food. I was just asking because I had seen the sign saying complimentary. Not to mention when you walk in the hotel your not greeted at all. Youre lucky if yoy get a hello back front the front desk. Room was clean but warn and in need of refresh. The layout and light switches dont make much sense. Felt much smaller than it needed to feel. Access and parking after hours is ridiculous. Parking surrounds the hotel and there are obvious guest entry doors that require guest keys... which are locked supposedly because of the unobserved homeless population nearby (who have room keys?). In nasty weather having to circumnavigate the hotel to get in is a major pain, to reach the front door that SHOULD be secured with guest key access but instead you can just stroll in. Staff response seemed tone-deaf, uncaring and scripted from both overnight and am staff, suggesting the hotel really doesnt care or want to change it. It reminded me of an overpriced motel 6 room, clean and useable.

The hotel has signs joking no butts about it saying it s a non smoking hotel but that doesn t apply to the afternoon and evening hotel staff smoking pot all night long. The smell was obnoxious on the 6th floor and the front desk employee on Friday night stumbled in so high he couldn t answer a question for me. He actually was outside the entrance smoking. Great job Marriott - clearly I need to check aLoft off my list when traveling with family -NOT our vibe.

Its a new and clean hotel. Location is great. There are a lot of restaurants and grocery store in walkable distance. The staff made out check in and check out very easy. The pool was great. We didnt check out the hot tub as the temperature outside is 100 degrees. I loved the W XYZ bar! The wings were yummy! The drinks were delicious and reasonable priced. I would like to especially commend the bar tender, Bassey, and the Sunday afternoon Management and Staff for their swift and competent manner in handling a drunk, unruly guest. The service was so great that I know I will be returning for another stay!

I checked into the Aloft hotel in July due to a last minute housing issue. I stayed at the property for a total of 11 nights and I must say, Aloft Cedar Park: is one of the best hotel experiences Ive ever had. And, this coming from someone who is used to traveling a lot for work (previous job). Aloft Cedar Park is a 5 Star hotel experience packed into a small little corner of Cedar Park. Its very clean, extremely well-managed, customer service driven and loaded with perks and amenities. The staff here made me feel not only welcome but appreciated. The hotel team from housekeeping, to the restaurant, to the front desk is all top notch and they work as well as youll ever see a team work together. Special shout-outs to Tiffany, Everson, Lester, Vanessa, Megan, and Paola for making me and my familys stay not only comfortable but memorable. The bar and food area are delightful, the workout room and pool are always clean, and the location perfect but most of all the staff is what sets this place apart from anywhere. Decent enough stay nothing spectacular. I booked ahead and provided my card to keep on file and still received several phone calls the first day of my stay because my reservation wasnt set up whatever they means. Maybe my expectations were too high, but the staff wasnt as guest oriented as Im accustomed. When I questioned the issue with my reservation it was met with little to no concern. I even reached out to the manager who never took my call or followed up on my voice mail. The room had power outlets that didnt work and the bathroom door was damaged. Pool wasnt at all appealing the property couldve used some upkeep. Not likely to return or recommend.

This one of the worst experiences I ve had at Aloft. I ve stayed at this same hotel twice before the pandemic of course and it was not like this. So our original room one of the window shed blind would not close. I tried to call the front desk the phone was not working. So I had to walk to front desk and they moved us to a different room. We had to pack up everything. This place is ran down and the rooms look dingy. The pool was closed due to remodeling. However, the rooms should have been remodeled first. I m never staying at another Aloft.

We were in Austin celebrating our 9 year olds birthday. We were greeted by Megan upon check in. She had exceptional customer service qualities which really made our stay comfortable, special, and surpassed our expectations. This is probably one of the worse stays I have ever had at a Marriott property. The TV did not work and when I notified the staff the first night they said they were busy with other guests, I asked for bath soap because we had none and they never did fill it, the internet was out the whole time and while I know that is not their fault communication would have been nice and on Saturday evening around 7:00 PM we walked into the lobby and planned to sit in the lounge area and get wine but we saw a man sitting at the bar and the front desk associate yell from across very rudely that the bar was closed. There was a big sign with bar hours and she gave no explanation. Just a disappointing stay overall.
