This place has great healthy food! Its a bit pricey, but worth the buy every now and then. You can mix and match options to make a bowl, or get a pizza. I really like their options with chicken and shrimp, and their mashed potatoes are really yummy! If you dont order in advance and the place is very busy, the wait during lunch time can be around 5/10 minutes, so I strongly recommend ordering in advance. Vegetarian options: You can mix and match your food choice to make it fully vegetarian. They have multiple types of veggies, salads, grains, mashed potatoes, and more. All really yummy!

Walked in at 10:45am. Three employees looked right at me, I m the only person in the store and no one bothers to greet me. I stood at the register, to order, for 5-10 minutes with no one bothering to ask if I needed anything or would like to order. I walked out shortly after and again not a single employee bothered to say a word. Food looks good. Wish I got a chance to try. Walked down the street to Scarborough Cafe and had a wonderful meal with great customer service.

Excellent food. Go in with an adventurous nature and try something totally new. You will definitely be rewarded. I intentionally tried things I had never eaten before. The different flavors go together so well. And oh my goodness the size of the portions was incredible. Definitely two meals for me. Drinks are a little difficult to get to but I think thats just because of spacing. Its two story and was pretty busy even at an off hour. And I can definitely understand why. Music could be turned down a little upstairs. With some increased lighting. However over all it was an excellent experience Vegetarian options: I think just about everything here can be vegetarian. And the food is so flavorful with such an incredible variety a vegetables. They have so much more than just your average broccoli and corn Parking: Its downtown. Must I say more? Wheelchair accessibility: Not exactly wheelchair-friendly. it stays pretty crowded. You can get in from the street but theres no access to the second floor. Downstairs theres plenty of tables but as Ive said it was very crowded but if youre okay with tight quarters and plenty of people around its worth the experience. The food is that good!

I and a friend of mine stopped at this place while in Austin during SXSW and other events we attended. It was packed, but the service was quick and the food was delicious. It was a very healthy alternative. I enjoyed some green chicken chili soup and a chicken wrap. The cucumber lemonade was out of this world. So refreshing. I would encourage anyone to dine in whether it be take out or to stop by and take a table. Youll enjoy the ambiance, the service, and the food. I would go back to this place and if I lived in Austin, would make this a regular restaurant to attend.

I dont know what happened to my Modern Markets but its such poor quality now. I used to dine in and door dash it often but the last four times the fish was dry, the veggies wilted, the rice salty, and just overall poor quality for a 17 to 20 dollar plate. I even went to both the downtown Austin and the arboretum locations and both were equally bad. Maybe its their new seasonal menu change that the cooks havent mastered but after several years of eating here....I wont be returning. Its just not worth the money to be this disappointed this many times on a row.

I ve never left a 1 star before, but this place was HORRIBLE. We order on Postmates. One item was missing. One item (the salmon curry bowl) was completely missing the veggies. My partner and I split the only dish that came as we ordered and both got food poisoning!!! It was the only thing we ate all day, and within the hour, were sooo ill. It s been 24 hours and I still feel so sick. Avoid at all costs. I also tried to order for delivery online after because they gave me a coupon to use to re-order (although it was less than the value of my meal). Continually got an error message so we purchased a gift card to try and pay for that, and the gift card never came.

Decided to eat here before going to the venue. I had the Blackened Chicken Mango bowl which came with rice and quinoa, mango, kale, black beans and chicken ofc. That was one of the best bowls Ive eaten. The ingredients were fresh and this bowl was definitely filling. They also have cane sodas, tea and lemonade. I had a Berry Hibiscus tea that I mixed with lemonade. It was the perfect blend of sour with a bit of sweetness. While we were there, a homeless man came in to get something to drink. However, they yelled at him to get out. I dont know what history they have with him but the interaction was loud and upsetting. Vegetarian options: They offer dishes to fit anyones dietary needs. Parking: Parking in Downtown Austin can be hard to find. Theres street parking but all of them were taken at the time I went. There is, however, a paid parking lot across the street from here. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchairs of all kinds are able to fit in with no issues.

Ordered the curry salmon bowl and was excited but they forgot the rice/quinoa. We were the only customers in there and they forgot one of 4 ingredients listed in the bowl. Disappointed but I m sure when everything is included it s good. Salmon a little tough/over cooked but curry is good. Keep in mind it s just their curry soup that s on/comes with the bowl, not a thick sauce. This morning upon entering with my service animal I was questioned by an employee of the establishment. She said the dog would have to stay outside. I said no maam this is a service animal. The Black lady, whom after the fact I learned was the manager. Made a snithe facial expression as to not believe me. Please instruct your employees on good customer service and the federal law on questioning handlers about their service dogs. Also, when I said thats not good leadership. She boasted and said Im a great leader. I said I dont know and this is coming from a former Lieutenant in the Navy. After a long exhausting walk I will not be dining at this establishment!! The staff is quite professional and upbeat. The food is pretty good but it can be a bit difficult to order food here as a vegan. Trying to run through the menu items and make a bunch of substitutions on the fly can get tricky especially when a lot of the sauces are dairy based. Having at least 3 preset curated menu options that dont require any substitutions would maybe life so much easier. Vegetarian options: Vegan options are available but the menu is very comprehensive so trying to decifer through every ingredient is quite anxiety inducing. If there were preset options or a make it vegan option that allowed for a preset list of substitutions the ordering process would be a lot more efficient.

I had the Curry Salmon bowl and was hoping to be at least warmed.. but the veggies were cold and more surprisingly the salmon was as well.. also the salmon was very dry and crusty. The curry sauce was mild and quite good. I think this dish would taste so much more if the salmon was fresh and veggies were warmed. Service was very friendly but it took a while to get the meal.

Don t eat here. We opted to dine in, big mistake. The staff were absolutely overwhelmed with Uber Eats orders, total chaos. We waited 45 minutes to get our food which consisted of 2 salads and 2 cups of soup. I will say the food was good but the experience was not. Will not return.

I keep giving this place one more chance but I have to pull the plug. I work in the building and I am often pressed for time so I just give in. I always order on the app. It is never ready when it says it will be, even wee I give it an extra 5 minutes before I go down. Last week they forgot an item in my bag. Today they didnt leave off the tomato like I instructed and my grilled cheese was not grilled. I guess the melted the cheese with a microwave or something because cheese was melted but bread was just plain, ungrilled bread. Not good. Then the pickup is always a circus. Tons of people standing around, staff disappear for a long time and no one knows if their order is ready and on the shelf. If you walk around to look at orders they snap at you to go back to other side of counter. I just need to write this place off.

DON T EAT HERE. I don t even know where to begin with this review. I usually love modern market, I typically go to the one in Westlake. This location however, has to be one of the worst customer service experiences I ve ever had. First off, we waited 30 minuets for our food (2 sandwiches) when there was only on 2 other people in the restaurant and I could visibly see the kitchen staff on their phones and paying attention to other things. After waiting patiently, we got our 2 sandwiches which were both completely wrong. You could even see the instructions on the package no arugula, no tomato, no onion but there was still all of the ingredients on there and there was different bread on both sides of the sandwich. I ve eaten these sandwiches before from the Westlake location so I know how they re supposed to be made. Never the less, mistakes happen so I went up to the kitchen staff and kindly explained that our sandwiches were both wrong. The head chef or something of that nature just looked at me, snatched one of the sandwiches and threw it in the bin. The other that I told him had onion on it when it wasn t supposed to as I was allergic he proceeded to open the sandwich and start picking the onion out a foot away from my face. I repeated myself and said I m allergic, he angrily snatched this sandwich into the bin as well. I stood there for a minuet then went and sat back down, as the staff didn t say a word to me. I came back and got my sandwiches 10 minuets later when the head chef threw the bag onto the counter with no label on it and I asked is this mine no response. So I asked again is this mine and he waived his hand behind him while he was facing another direction to suggest it was. I picked it up and sat down. I wasn t even shocked at this point, the images I m attaching are of the NEW re-done sandwich. Smothered in sauce, only one peice of bread was toasted the other was stone cold out of a bag. There was also no cheese and the chicken was luke warm at best. My friends sandwich was dry and also on the cold side. We ended up leaving and not eating the food, who knows what else happens in the back of kitchen if this is the kind of food they re producing. I have no words for this experience other than DON T EAT HERE. They don t care about customers whatsoever, don t take allergies seriously and the food is terrible. I wish I could give 0 stars. A degrading and horrible experience that I don t wish to relive. Go somewhere else.

Poor customer service. Got refused to dine in at 8:02 when restaurant was closing at 9:00. Person who is suppose to take order was enjoying a dinner date with a friend while a couple came in at 8:10 to order the food and asked every other employee that they would like to order food but no luck. The couple left after 10 mins of humiliation and hunger. This is unfair. Purely wrong.

My go to lunch place. Make sure you come here before or after the lunch rush hour, like all Austin restaurants they are under staffed. My favorite is the summer special AHI TUNA SALAD. So so so good, so much inside you have to take it home. It s on the pricier side for salad like $18 but it s so worth if.

First place we found out about this restaurant. Love the street corn pizza. The soups pair well with the pizza too. We will try other things another time. For now it s addiction to street corn pizza. Overall I wasnt very impressed with my visit here. It took 5+ minutes to get a receipt from the cashier. They said it didnt work but that was because it needed receipt paper! My pizza crust was burnt and there werent many toppings for the price I paid.

Ordered pizza, salmon curry bowl and protein bowl with steak. - food was late (25 mins of waiting) - pizza was overly wet, literally with water when you lift a slice - curry bowl- we thought it was a soup dish since the curry was literally overflowing and thought it didn t have any rice - steak bowl- steak was over cooked- I seriously don t know what it wanted to showcase in terms of flavors - beautiful interior, amazing packaging/marketing and overall feel but they forgot the most important- customer service and quality of food
