Impeccable service, the food is reliably excellent. My only peeve is that they do not have the portable pay machines so you have to give/trust them with your credit card unseen OR walk to a pos station to pay. Not the European way...

My husband, father-in-law, and I have been coming here for years for different holiday meals (Thanksgiving, Easter). This past Sunday we went for brunch and I had explained in advance that my father-in-law is a picky vegetarian and needed an a la carte meal (pancakes and eggs) since he will not eat from buffet. The buffet is extremely overpriced at $78 plus tax per person for the quality of the food (many of it had been sitting there for a while so it was not fresh). The best thing we had were bites of my father-in-laws pancakes. Yet they charged me $78 for his meal (pancakes and eggs). I left extremely annoyed and disappointed with the quality of the food and for being charged for buffet for my father-in-law when he didnt eat any of it. I would NOT recommend going for Sunday brunch (especially if you are a vegetarian) and instead stick to Saturday a la carte brunch.

Celebrated our 5 year anniversary at Ciclo and couldnt have been happier with our experience. John was an absolute pleasure to have as our waiter as he recommended some delicious starters, and was patience throughout our decision process. To start, my wife and I enjoyed the Baja Ceviche and Sweet corn empanadas. Although both were bursting with delicious flavor, I think we liked the sweet corn empanadas most. For the signature dishes, we decided to split the braised beef short ribs and absolutely loved it. The truffle potatoes that came with the dish were incredible. After dinner we decided to try the signature Ciclo bon bons and were mesmerized with how delicious they were. We also received a surprise desert from the wonderful pastry team that put the icing on the cake for our anniversary dinner. The entire experience was better than we expected and would highly recommend to anyone whos looking to have the ultimate dinner experience to give Ciclo a try.

Do Not get the steak experience. When I first got it in 2022 it was awesome the steak delicious. Since then they have reduced the size of the steak increased the price and diminished the quality of the overall experience. I d say it s more of a money grab now than a proper let s give the paying customer something worthwhile to remember. The steak itself I d also not as good as in 2022. I ve been back twice since then and both times were very meh.

This may be the best part of the Austin Four Seasons. The service. The presentation. The ambiance. This is why you go to the four seasons. I have a restrictive diet - their response was please let us meet your needs. This is where is come for care, not just food. Vegetarian options: This is the place to come to have your culinary needs and desires met. Dietary restrictions: This is where 4S really shines. The customer service is truly what sets them apart. You can have your dietary needs met here. Parking: There is valet available and with validation it s $15 Kid-friendliness: This is a high end hotel restaurant and it was filled with families visiting. All the children were well dressed and well behaved. Wheelchair accessibility: It s in the basement of the building. There are plenty of elevators.

Celebrated an anniversary here for Sunday brunch and had a great experience! The hot and cold bars were great, good selection of breakfast and non-breakfast items - definitely get the crab/lobster Benedict, it was our fav dish. Service was friendly and attentive and they brought us a sweet treat for our special occasion. The grounds at the hotel were beautiful, plenty of space to sit outside and relax.

I think this is one of the must try places in Austin for sure. We ordered the marg-no-rita and the beekeeper and they were so good, light and refreshing that it was difficult not to order refills. Their sweet corn empanadas, pollo a la mexicana, and grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious, the fries were perfectly crisp and portion sizes are perfect. Their crème brûlée was sooooo good. Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options Parking: Paid valet parking

The breakfast food was bland and overpriced. I ordered the brisket taco which was just a pile of scrambled eggs, no seasoning and itty bitty bits of brisket. For $20+, I expected some sort of flavor. I could have gone to a food truck and paid $6 for a tastier meal. Service was ok. Our water was never re-filled; I had to steal my husband s water at the end. The tables weren t cleaned well. There is particles of food on them when we arrived. I mentioned it to the hostess who said they d have someone wipe it down, but that never occurred. Then I noticed it was like the on many of the tables near us. The tables had a pretty peony on it- the highlight of our experience. Overall, the atmosphere was nice, however, I wouldn t bother attending their breakfast again. As we left, the brunch buffet was being prepared and looked good. It s $78 per plate but might be worth trying (set moderate expectations).

Spring is now budding parties at the Four Seasons. Taking a break from a long day of Zoom calls one can walk the grounds and enjoy the upper and lower dining areas. Four seasons is about experiencing Austin from an insiders view of the City Limits! T is the season to enjoy the Seasons. The Four Seasons has decorated for the holidays with Santa s caravan from Shady Grove! The spectacle is whimsical and the food is scrumptious. Try the appetizers making a great cocktail hour. Pass the stories from Christmas past, present and future as you sip Moscow Mules and Prosecco!

For a restaurant in the Four Seasons I don t think it matches the brand in terms of exclusivity and prestige. However that shouldn t be a reflection of the experience. It s just the reputation of The Four Seasons that preceded it. Daniel our server was amazing and engaging. We arrived just before the kitchen closed and the service was still pleasant and nice. The lamb was great the food amazing and everything was up to par. I definitely will be back to experience the lunch on the patio during warmer days. It was definitely worth the price and the experience. I need to not allow expectations to impact the experience. All in all a great dining experience.

Extra dirty martini: it was good Sweet corn empanadas: it was very good, I liked the empanada itself, the filling you could ve told me it is corn or anything else Texas beef Tartare: meh!! The meat didn t taste this fresh, it didn t have any seasoning, it was bad Grilled Spanish octopus: it was ok, the octopus was cooked perfectly but the sauce & seasoning didn t add much to it Parker house rolls: they were good Rack of lamb: it was cooked perfectly but it had ZERO seasoning Crispy Brussels sprouts: they were good

This restaurant can do no wrong. Ive had the pleasure of visiting with the restaurant manager and clear to me why the restaurant does so well in talking with him and the standards he tries to achieve on a daily basis. Today, I enjoyed blue corn sopes and langostino etouffee. If you are a canjun stickler, youre probably not going to care for the etouffee. But if you can take a step back and just enjoy the flavors, I think youll be happy.

Visited Ciclo on a weekday for lunch with my husband. One thing I liked about this place was that there are more vegetarian options here than most restaurants. We ordered the tomato basil soup, enchiladas verde, and a side of fries. Ideally, we expected the starter to come first, and once we were done , the entree would come etc. But our server served everything all at once! The cocktails, the starter, the entree and the sides, everything was on the table! This was so weird. (We also had a small table so everything was super cramped) Coming to the dishes, I liked the tomato basil soup, it was a perfect blend of tangy, and creamy... By the time I got to enchiladas, they were lukewarm so it was weird to eat them. Fries were tasty. The staff was very polite other than that. They were very gracious when we asked them to take a picture of the two of us.

7 of us went for dinner. There s a few rotten leaves in the house salad that I was going to tell our waiter about but got taken away when I went to the restroom. That s a little unacceptable. New York strip tasted a bit dry. Lamb tasted good. Bread tasted good. Got different appetizers and sides. My favorite was the mushroom and the raw tuna. Our waiter is kinda all over the place. When he s here he quickly took away the plates when some of us were still working on it, and took us a while to find him when we were ready to take the check. A 20% tip would be automatically included (for a bigger group that s understandable) in the bill so you might want to take a closer look to avoid double tipping. Overall good environment, sophisticated food decor, ok taste, but definitely need some improvement.

Elevated Latin style food was promised and delivered at Ciclo. I was greeted by a smiling host and waitstaff. I genuinely felt welcomed. The atmosphere of the restaurant was upscale but not uptight, there were families with young children who rounded out the welcoming ambiance. The decor was beautiful, clean, and modern. The patio where I had my dinner was beautiful. My server was phenomenal. I wish I could recall his name for a shout out, but he could tell I was struggling with the vast drink menu and surprised me with a glass of sparking rosé. He made wonderful recommendations for my meal and took my dietary restrictions very seriously. I had the Heirloom Tomato Salad to start. It was light, fresh, and very flavorful. Plus can you really go wrong with burrata? For my entree I had the sea scallops and pork belly. The scallops were perfectly cooked, the pork bell was crispy yet tender and the escabeche vegetables added a lovely crunch to the dish. The verde crudo was spicy, but in the best kind of way, and so flavorful. I had the chocolate indulgence for dessert. It was paired with various forms of raspberry: fresh, coulee, sorbet. It was such a delicious pairing I was truly sad when it was gone. Overall, it was an exceptional meal and experience, definitely one worth sharing.

Bone in ribeye-the saltiest steak in town! The cook must be a 2 pack a day smoker because his taste buds are gone, had the nerve to put extra sea salt next to the steak as a joke. Hilarious. The cast iron chicken is a direct rip off of Salty Sows, but it misses coming even close. The best part of the meal was the Yukon mash potatoes, and thats because I dont mind eating Hungry Jack mashed potatoes. Its literally the same. My wife and I decided to dine at Ciclo for her birthday and were absolutely blown away at how amazing of an experience we had. Ell the server took great care of us and started us off with the best ceviche you can ever try, amazing empanadas, Al pastor quail (OMG the quail is a marvelous presentation), and the bread is crafted straight out of heaven. I asked the general manager Joe for a good Brunello Di Montalcino around the $150 range and he guided us towards the Casisano which was exactly what I was looking for medium bold, dry, Sangiovese grape with a little acidity and man did he knock it out of the park. That s not even the best part! We ordered the Wagyu Tomahawk and the chef comes out and sets the thing on fire with Tequila, like wow! Ell grabbed us 4 deserts that transported us to paradise and Joe came and offered us this delicious port wine to top off the night. To say my experience was amazing is an understatement! We visited Ciclo with high expectations a few weeks ago based upon our experience with the restaurants at the Four Seasons Orlando, and Ciclo did not disappoint! Our friends were visiting from out of town and we both have adult sons on the autism spectrum, plus I have dietary restrictions. Our waiter bent over backward to handle our many requests, and the chef also came out to speak with me personally about the food ingredients, suggesting options. I cant say enough about the incredible service we received! The food was amazing! If money isnt an issue, get the tomahawk finished table side by the chef - great presentation and delicious steak! The cast iron chicken was wonderful, as were the ribeye and scallop meals. For dessert, the tres leches was another incredible presentation (you use a mallot to crack open the shell), and the bon bone filled with Amys mexican vanilla were also delicious! You wont be disappointed!

Dinner was both beautiful and delicious- pleasing the palate as much as the eye- had fabulous service in the outdoor (virtually al fresco) terrace overseeing Lady Bird lake, and the garden filled with luscious live oak trees. A very good wine list, mostly reasonably priced. Highly recommend the ceviche, the heirloom tomato salad, the watermelon salad and the half chicken. Unfortunately, the menu has become very limited after covid. Looking forward to the day the menu is fully repopulated and trying many other dishes. Overall a great experience, the price tag a little on the higher side but worth it.

Was a mixed bag for sure. For an appetizer we got the watermelon salad which tasted okay, but it was a sparse plate, poorly presented, and was not nearly worth the price tag. For entrees my wife got the pan-seared sea bass which we both agreed was very good; I got the bone-in ribeye which was a disappointment. I ordered the steak medium rare but it still had a heartbeat when it arrived (unquestionably rare and potentially undercooked) and was not well-seasoned. It came with a sauce which helped a bit, but it was very salty. For a side dish we got the potatoes three ways, and while the mashed potatoes were serviceable when mixed thoroughly with the accompanying sauce (though again were overall not well-seasoned) the baked mini potatoes that came with it were bland and should have been left off the dish. We had the Carbon for dessert and I can honestly say it was one of the tastiest desserts Ive ever eaten, with a flashy presentation to boot. The wait staff and atmosphere were wonderful, but the quality of the food was uneven so I would have a hard time recommending this restaurant given the hefty price tag. Might be better to just come in for the dessert and cocktails which were the best parts of our meal.

I normally love bringing family here for special occasions. I reserved a table for four and a child needing high chair for outside dining at noon. We were told they had a mess outside so put us in a corner. Inside. No high chair and the crayons the seater said she had did not come. I had to request both. We had a lovely time and thank-you for personalizing the menu. I did not care for our welcome. Very disappointing.

Extremely Disappointing experience Subtle behavior to display how they did want to serve. I ve had great experience at other Four seasons locations across the US and internationally, this experience would make me rethink going back. I waited for 15mins only to get a table in the extreme corner of the restaurant(whereas other tables were available), waited additional 20mins to even get acknowledgement of my presence with a glass of water. For someone paying $50 for a brunch and some more for mimosas, the service was abysmally incompetent, while other tables were attended promptly. All I wanted was to pamper myself with a nice brunch after a long hike on a nice Sunday morning.. and would have loved the service. Was this behavior because I wasn t dressed for the brunch? May be! Was it because I did not look classy enough?? May be. Or was it because I was the only colored, alone female customer? Possibly. Judging a book by its cover is the last thing anyone expect from a place like Four seasons. While I understand I didn t have reservations and was a walk-in, I certainly did not expect such treatment. I ended up leaving without any food and realized that the staff did not care. Definite No No. Whatever the reason, I d have appreciated if I was informed that they wouldn t want to serve, instead of a ruining the day.

Very classy hotel restaurant. Highly recommend eating outdoors if the weather is permitting, their backyard is absolutely gorgeous. We were there for breakfast and I had delicious coffee and probably the best huevos rancheros Ive had in my life. Very kind and helpful staff as well. A hidden gem of a restaurant.

Overall, amazing experience. Its more casual than I expected; I expected way more fine dining of the experience but it was very enjoyable. Food was very good, but not superb, and I wanted superb. Rolls very good, salad excellent flavor, but honestly the star of their menu (wagyu steak served table-side) was a bit underwhelming on the flavor profile. It should have been better seasoned (more salt and generally more flavor). But the temperature was perfect medium, and sides were good. However, having lived for years in Japan, I can tell that was NOT wagyu beef ;) so if its not wagyu quality, why try to pass it on as one?! Desert I didnt care about that much. It was OK but not superb. Generally, culinary-wise, enjoyable yet confusing experience. The best thing about this place is the manager, Joe (no idea about the spelling), who knows a lot about wine and knows that Italy is the way to go! The wines he recommended us and let us try were the best Ive so far experienced during our short time in Austin. Hes an amazing sommelier. I will go back there just so that I talk about wine to him. I give the place 5 stars just because of him.

Our 51st anniversary dinner with our beautiful grand daughters and the service was the worst in years. 25 minutes to get water, 45 minutes to see waitress for drink orders, 70 minutes to find out she didnt turn in our appetizer order and a full 90 minutes after we sat down to get the first order. Dinner arrived at 9,:20 for a 730 reservation, steak was way overcooked. Finally, manager got involved, 4 Seasons comped dinner and at 10:20 we left. Terrible, terrible, but good teaching moment for our 16 year old grand daughters, not a future prom place for them or dinner place for us when in Austin. Waitress was the worst!

Very innovative and excellent service. The food was mixed - the cod was excellent, the scallops nicely charred, but the char coal risotto very salty, and the ice cream bon bons just very sweet. All in all, it was a good dinner but not outstanding. I would go again if need be but I wouldnt make any particular effort to get back.

Christmas brunch for 7 was magnificent. The food was varied, excellent, served at the perfect temperature, and the service, as usual, was both anticipatory and stellar. When one person at my table asked if I liked the Tuna Tartare and I said yes, one of the serving staff quietly brought one to the table. Service was efficient and friendly, and the pace of the meal was just right - no one was rushed, and we could enjoy a great day out. Highly recommended.

Amazing service, amazing food and an even price point. Our host was Julio and he offered personable and informed opinions, as well as making sure every dish was explained and presented. My wife and I chose Ciclo for our anniversary dinner during the week. We knew it would be quiet, yet the ambiance and service would be top notch (as expected in a Four Seasons Hotel). Each dish was cooked and prepared perfectly. Nothing was over seasoned by any means. We read that the Lomo Saltado was salty. It sure was not for us. Does the dish have salt? Of course. If you understand food and ingredients, you understand the tastes. The meat might be salted aka SALT. The rice had parmesan cheese in it for flavor. That cheese also has...SALT. The soy sauce jus...again, SALT. Does that make a dish salty? No. It means the combination has salts and may be salty to some. We ourselves dont ever add salt to our food and I still didnt find it salty. Our thanks to the kitchen staff for a great meal, even later into the evening on a slower weeknight. A great experience and we cannot wait to come back. A true improvement over Trio.

We decided to ask for the check to leave which took another 20 minutes because our original server never showed up. We had someone else check us out. I recommend you spend your hard earned money somewhere else.

Nice high end restaurant, what you would expect of the restaurant at the Four Seasons. What you might not expect is their attitude towards a toddler, you might expect them to rush you or scoff at you but they did none of these things. They were very friendly towards me and my toddler. They were very considerate of her needs and asked if they could get something started for her before I suggested it and even brought her a toy toward the end of the meal while I finished my wine, and not because they were trying to shush her, she was being very mellow already. The food and wine were both delicious but the welcome they have my toddler and I was what I was impressed with most.

Unfortunately, the almost constant smell of perfume(or was it carpet or air freshener?!) distracted from/overshadowed what could have been an almost perfect dining experience. You want to fully appreciate the smell and taste of food prepared this well. It is, dare I say, world class! For starters, the freshly prepared bread rolls are divine! Soft and sumptuous. They dont disappoint with cold butter either. The butter is softened to room temperature. The menu is not over-complicated, but rather streamlined for focusing on a handful of perfectly executed items. The charred octopus appetizer will make you wish you hadnt shared this shared plate. It is spot-on al dente. One of the best seafood dishes to be found anywhere! The generous kale salad is very flavorful with its smoked onion vinaigrette. The sea bass entree also was stellar, cooked to perfection, both texture and taste. The flavor and freshness of the fish shine. My only disappointment was the chocolate pudding cake. It was too dry to be called pudding cake. Ive had much better. However, the salted caramel ice cream accompanying it is the best youve ever had!!! The olive oil panna cotta is creamy perfection. Delicate flavor, not for those needing loud taste. You must appreciate the quality of its ingredients. The honeycomb is heavenly!!! I will grant that Texas peaches have a short seasonal availability. The place is a bit shi-shi for Austin...who still wears mink coats out to dinner??? But the food, unlike the mink coat, is to die for!!!

Wow, We had such an amazing dinner at Ciclo. I was a bit skeptical going in, but blown away once there. We were on a double date and got a little bit of everything to share family style: rolls, pork belly, ceviche, lobster tacos, bone-in beef rib, sea scallops, and a few other items. The food was outstanding, prepared to perfection. You will not be disappointed!

Outstanding service, which is what FS is known for. Cozy, yet sleek atmosphere where one would feel comfortable dressed up or in casual attire. Hostess, wait staff and manager quite friendly and eager to please their guests. We began dinner with sparkling wine and savory empanadas. We then enjoyed a delicious sea bass with tomatillo jam. Whatever you order, make sure to include a side or two. The heirloom carrots and kale with mushrooms was the highlight at our table! We concluded our evening with a blackberry/vanilla dessert that was light and heavenly. We look forward to our next visit to Ciclo.

LOVED this place. The service of course was amazing and the staff was friendly and polite. We started the night with the Poblano Margarita and the Tamarind Margarita, both were very good. Followed by the empanadas, I could have eaten 10 of these! My hubby had the Lomo Saltado, he loved their take on this classic Peruvian Dish. I had the Cast Iron Chicken - I rarely eat chicken or meat and I was really impressed by it. We also tried the Stags Leap Cabernet with dinner, it is made for the Four Seasons and it was perfect. We cant wait to go back!
