I had to switch to another account just to be able to leave this review. Apparently my previous review wasn t appreciated by the owner and they can t take constructive criticism. That s not surprising seeing as this time when we went to Stacked we waited for 45 minutes, just to be seated at our table for the remaining 20 to be ignored by the entire staff. While I understand that Sundays are usually busy for all Lubbock restaurants, the fact that we were completely ignored and brushed past was not appreciated. I keep giving Stacked an opportunity to be good and they let me down every single time. The space is crowded, it s loud, the takeout is inconsistent, and people are seated at the whim of the host or hostess. Eat elsewhere Lubbock. Sidenote, here s the reply from the previous post: We appreciate your previous support, contributions to Stacked and our staff. Nick we cannot understand why you would leave such a negative review being that we were super busy because of our TTU Graduates this weekend. I am most positive that all other restaurant are just as busy. I also see all your previous reviews are all 1 star, start thinking some positive thoughts in life it will do the soul some good! The only thing that Stacked will apologize for is that you have a sour attitude for the Economic push for the Lubbock community on weekends like this. GO TECH! GUNS UP !!! Have a blessed day Nick!

We have gone here several times. Never again. Ordered a Monte Cristo sandwich. It was cooked so hard you could hardly bit into it. Also ordered sweet tea, it was soured. The waiter said it couldnt be, so I said fine you drink it. He didnt like that very well and though we sent it back and got water, he tried to charge us for it. Cost him a tip.

First visit here, and I was impressed with the great taste and freshness. I did enjoyed the homey local warm atmosphere. I visited on a Sunday, and Stacked was Packed, but your good places usually are. So service was stretched therefore only 4 stars. Chicken fried steak was excellent. Eggs cooked to over medium perfection. The table next to me had biscuits and gravy that looked so good that it will be what I try next time.

20 minute wait with open tables. No butter on toast (who does that). Omelet greasy. Chicken fried steak burned, way over cooked. AND... AT THE COST OF YOUR MERCHANT SERVICES INTO YOUR PRICES.. if you have to charge extra to use my card, I wont be back. A good business owner puts all of his costs into his pricing. Not impressed.

ordered the eggs Benedict w/ brisket. It was so good especially with some Cholula it was perfect. We also ordered build your own omelette with ham, brisket, onions, and spinach. It was good definitely don t skip the omelets, the French toast was great i like the cinnamon, chocolate chip pancakes was amazing also Only thing was our waitress i understand you have multiple tables but if you come To our table and ask us if we need anything, don t walk away from us. she wouldn t evern look us in the eyes she would a question and walk right away wouldn t even give us a chance to answer other then that great restaurant

I meant to take a picture of my meal before I wrote this, but it went down by the time I remembered! The presentation was beautiful though. Taylor was our waitress and did such a good job by being informative, friendly, and prompt. She recommended the burger and my mom and I both got it EXCEPTIONAL! Normally I dont rate below normal - We understand circumstances happen. Plus this place is rated, #1 breakfast place for 2024 which is amazing. Congratulations to them. When we went for breakfast they had open tables but didnt seat us for another 10 to 15 minutes. We were happy to wait. Im assuming they didnt have waitress for those tables But that was never explained to us. It would have been a quick and easy answer to let us know. When we did get seated we got water right away which was great. I ordered iced tea half and half half sweet half normal. She brought it out quickly as well. I ordered a BLT with avocado bagel for breakfast. It was very delicious. My husband ordered eggs and biscuits and gravy. He said the food was great. As far as the atmosphere of this restaurant, its a bit noisy and service to get food to the table is a bit slow. Tables have not been bused from morning. We got there about 10:45 and most the tables were still messy from customers, who previously ate there this morning. Overall I get this facility about a 4.5 out of 5

WAS my favorite breakfast spot in town, but after seeing the mayhem that graduation caused, they will never get patronage from me again. An hour to an hour and a half wait is just ridiculous. This has always been one of my favorite places to eat. Today my wife and I walked out before ordering due to being frozen and very disappointed. We were seated right in front of the door, every time the door opened the cold wind blew right on us. My wife had to cram her way into the seat. She is a very petite woman and could barely make it into her seat without hitting the person behind her. The tables are far too crowded and pay attention to your customers seating arrangements when it s cold and windy. Very disappointed.

I normally come to stacked at least twice a month for breakfast and food and service have been awesome. But this mornings visit was very disappointing. I bought a few co workers with me who have never been and needless to say they were also disappointed. It took 10 minutes for anyone to come to our table. There were only 3 other tables in use at the time. There were 3 waitresses standing to side just talking and laughing. When they finally noticed that we were there they turned their backs to us and I could hear them talking about how we haven t been helped and who should help us because neither one wanted to help us. They then called someone to help us and it still took a few minutes. Meanwhile another waitress was a conversation with the couple behind us and even left to get them refills. Two other waiters just kept coming asking by us without even looking our way. And at one point all of the wait staff was standing to the side all talking to each other. When we finally got helped the waitress who was named Ray and was very sweet and helpful. We got our food and everything was very good. The group and I were just extremely disappointed with the service. We will definitely be considering other places for breakfast for a little while.

Stacked is delicious. Menu is thorough and youre allowed to tweak and go off menu. Great mimosas that are reasonably priced. Good strong black coffee. The employees are all very nice. Its usually pretty busy on the weekends, which makes sense so if your sans kids you can just cop a squat at the bar which always has available seating. Def my new fave bfast/brunch spot. Highly recommend the ham steak mmmmm.

Its hard to find a great brunch spot. The problem is brunch is always a busy time. Stacked had decent food, decent wait times and decent service for a Brunch Venue. Coffee was subpar and the menu seemed a little overpriced. I wouldnt go there by myself but I wouldnt refuse if my friends wanted there. You might have a better experience than mine.

I love Bendict breakfast and I am on a low sodium diet so there isn t usually much to choose from. I ordered the avocado mini and it was good. The hollandaise sauce had a lime flavor that was good. And the bread was made of eggwhites. The restaurant was full and the wait staff kept our drinks filled and served us in a timely manner. The prices are also affordable.

We had breakfast here around 10:00 on 10/1. When we arrived, we were told it would be around a 20 minute wait, so I gave them my number, and about 15 minutes later, I received a text. We were warmly greeted and seated and our server was absolutely fantastic. They were so kind, answered all of our questions, and stayed on top of refills. My coffee was bold and fresh without any hints of scolding or bitterness. My steak and eggs were delicious. My steak was slightly overcooked, but I won t let that impact my rating. Because my son s Italian hero was one of the best sandwiches I have ever tasted. He absolutely loved it, and made sure we all tried it too. The fries were also perfect cooked and seasoned wonderfully. And the pancakes were light and airy and simply scrumptious. We also had the lite avocado benedict, which was delicious as well. We loved our experience here, and we will definitely return!

We usually have good experiences here. Today that was not the case. My husband and I were seated by the bar top where a large group of people stood about, hovering around our table while talking with people who were actually seated at the bar. We waited ~40 minutes for two plates of bacon, eggs and pancakes, and when the food did come out, it was cold. Service was subpar today, where usually we have great waiters. Disappointed that today was not good.

My 4 year old and I have been going here for breakfast over the last several Saturdays. We are OBSESSED with the pancakes! Tried the french toast once and it was a little tough for my liking. Visited twice. On a sat, the place is crazy noisy due to the ceiling being open concept. Place was packed , but food came out quickly. On that day, my review was top notch. Was excited to try this place with my daughter! First we went to bathroom to wash our hands, bathroom was dirty and messy, no toilet paper, staff was using cell phone then comes out and says oh you can use it now continues to be on cell. We decided not to wash our hands sue to how dirty bathroom was. Food was okay, pancake was flat and cold, although our waitress was very friendly otherwise i wont return. My husband and I ate here during a lunch break. He ate the chicken fried steak while I ate gluten-free pancakes (So STINKING GOOD!!!). Waited a little longer than we were told. Seated, then waited longer still. Waitress was very friendly so I quickly got over it. We ordered several things from the breakfast menu. Waffles were thin and soft. Not quite what I expected. The bananas foster topping was not at all what I expected. I also had biscuits and gravy with green chili. The flavor was good but it had too much gravy. Biscuits were lost in it. Overall the service was good. The food tasted ok. Feel like we might give it another try for the lunch menu.

My Goddaughter and I came here for breakfast a few weeks ago and I had the eggs Benedict with brisket. It was a lot of food and very good and tasty. We loved the breakfast potatoes as well. Coffee was good and waitress was very attentive. Nice little breakfast spot.

Horrible and slow service. Multiple times had to ask another server for more water. Asked for crispy hash browns and they came out soggy and seemed to have been on flat top maybe a minute per side. I asked again for crispy, waiter said he needed mine back and they would cook longer. I said that s fine . Fast forward 20 mins later and return a pile of WET DEEP FRIED hash browns. Why like WHY could they not go on the stove top just a little longer. Waiter huffed when I place my plate down out of frustration and asked for check after receiving the pile of disappointment. After seeing other rating I tried here over farmhouse and wanted to give it a shot but I doubt I ever will again.

Popular place and I now know why. Had the chicken fried chicken with hash browns and scrambled eggs. All items were absolutely delicious! Bloody Mary was very good, too. Really hit the spot. Servers are very friendly and help each other out so you get great service. Will be back whenever we re in Lubbock again.

I got their Double Stacked Egg Classic, which tasted delicious! I got eggs with their waffle, turkey sausages, and fried sweet potatoes. Their coffee also tastes really good . Food came out quickly, only thing sad was their Belgian waffle iron was broken. Service was ok, the waitress felt like she was trying to rush us out. We had to ask for silverware, and ask for refills of coffee.

Coffee is one of the better ones. Strong and fresh. The stacked benedict with brisket is superb. Liked the hollandaise. Waffle tastes amazing, they got a great batter. Sweet potato side was a pleasant surprise, not oily at all and complimented the rest very well. Service was decent enough as the server was just very rushed. When I first walked it I expected the average mom and pop sort of dining which is good but too often way too greasy. This place was amazing though. The first thing we noticed was how clean the glasses and silverware were. It felt like I was the first person to drink from the glass. The staff were wonderful. The quality of the food was already 5 stars with out everything else. I didn t feel bad while eating it because it wasn t greasy and tasted really healthy if that makes sense not to mention the plates come with the food arranged really pretty. Instagram worthy! Will come back!

This is my second time trying this breakfast place the first time I gave it a 3-star now Im giving it a negative 3 star. The service was absolutely horrible not only did we wait 40 minutes for our food it came completely cold. I didnt know that for another 3 minutes after my food was delivered because we didnt have any silverware. I spoke to the manager he said hed take care of it and did nothing which surprised me. I assumed he was going to put an order in for food to be remade. After calling the waitress back over and letting her know my food was cold and I wanted to know how long it would take for it to be remade she asked if I wanted it microwaved to heat it up. The best part was the manager didnt even offer a discount or anything I paid full price for this garbage and left. I really wanted to say nice things about the restaurant and figured last time they just got it wrong. Nope we will never go back and I will tell everyone I know not to go due to the poor management.

Stacked is a very well-known restaurant locally. I was visiting from out of town with my best friend. Its very busy in the morning time thats when we went. But we were seated within 15 to 20 minutes and it was really busy. The food to me was okay. But we had a great waitress.

Food is pretty good. Had breakfast so nothing to write home about. Hostess that day was very aggressive when she came outside to tell me my table was ready. Literally others stopped their conversations and were like OMG. Not sure if its because I very politely asked how many were ahead of me. But didnt let that ruin my last meal with my daughter before making my 6 hour drive back home, hence the reason I asked. The actual waitress was very nice! Even told my daughter to come and see her if she needed anything. Would have given a 4, but cant when service isnt top tier. Everyone has bad days, but please dont take it out on paying customers or any human.

This place is a nice little homely spot that has good pancakes. Sweet tea is sweet but the actual tea is rather weak, more like sugar water colored brown. The staff and the manager were really nice and the place is clean. Would definitely recommend and go back.

So yummy I didn t even think about taking a photo to show off how beautiful the dish looked! By the time I realized I should take a photo to show it off it was too late, because I ate every last bite! I got the blueberry pancakes stacked and OMG it melted in my mouth. Delicious. My boyfriend got the Monte Crisco it also melted in my mouth I almost stole it all from him. Even the fries were absolutely top tier they didn t even need ketchup! And I love ketchup! 10/10 will be returning and telling everyone I know this is the best breakfast place around! Not to mention if you go before 8:30 they have a early bird special which is budget friendly! :) YUMMY!

Didnt even make it to the table. As soon as we walked in the door the hostess gave my wife a dirty look and told my family we would have to sit down and wait.. she didnt give us a estimate of time and had a attitude. so while we where waiting other families where coming in and she would greet them with a smile and tell them it would just be a short wait and for them it was.. as 3 other families where seated before us. the hostess did her best to avoid eye contact with us. maybe its the tattoos or werent the right skin color.. shes lucky we left peacefully instead of making a scene.. I will never recommend this place to any of my friends or relatives.. I would give it zero stars even if the food is good.. the people who work there make the establishment an ugly environment.

My first time eating that stacked was amazing. The food was excellent in the service with excellent. My second time I took a friend came to town to visit and we waited roughly 45 minutes at our table before order was taken took another 40 minutes to get her breakfast. The quality of the food was definitely subpar for the price. My third time there I took my daughter the service was great, but it did take forever to get our food and the pancakes were very dry and rubbery
