Ryan helped me with my divorce years ago. I was in a bad situation and didn t have the money to pay him in full. He told me I could do payments monthly. Unfortunately I ended up missing a month or two and I m pretty sure he never finalized my divorce. My name is still on a house I don t live in, I never signed paperwork and all I got from him was a phone conversation stating that I was divorced. Fast forward to now and he will not return my call and I m somehow still on a title of a house I don t live in. If you have the money then he s probably a fantastic lawyer. Unfortunately because of this I now have to hire a new lawyer to fix this and will probably have to see who I report Mr. Dougay to if I m not really divorced and he lied about that.

The BEST FAMILY Law Attorney I have ever worked with. 1 year ago I was blindsided with a separation and custody battle. I highly recommend Ryan Dougay for custody issues. My daughter hired him to represent her in custody of her 2 children. As a mother fighting for her children and a grandmother having to watch, it was a very difficult time. After meeting with Ryan, he put our minds at ease. He gave us straight forward answers and explained what would happen. He believed in my daughter and had my granddaughters best interest at heart. My daughter got her girls back and if it wasnt for Ryan, she would still be fighting to see them. I highly recommend Ryan as a competent, skilled, and effective family law attorney. Going through a divorce is never going to be a fun experience, but Ryans extensive knowledge of Texas family law and good humor made my own personal journey much easier and productive than I had anticipated being possible. we have hired Ryan four times now two times to fight false protection orders that were filed against us and once to seek one ourselves. the fourth time was to seek a modification a child parent relationship suit we were able to prevail all four times Ryan is an excellent attorney who is smart honest and reliable he was quick to let us know when something has changed in our case and to rely information as needed Ryan was an excellent attorney and was able to block an object to all the illegal evidence and protect us and keep us safe he has truly changed the course of our lives for the better and has protected us he is the kind of man that you want on your side if you are facing false allegations or trying to protect you or your I couldnt recommend him more. Ryan is an amazing lawyer, person, and role model. He helped me in my case to execute a strategy, given my situation was very tough, and complicated. He was able to get a writ of attachment which is rare. As well as 50/50 custody. Ryan was extremely helpful, answering all of my questions. I really felt that I was in good hands when I hired Ryan. No one ever wants to have to hire an attorney to represent them in family matters but if you do, this is the person you want representing you! Ryan Dougay listens and really works hard to resolve your issue compassionately, timely and effectively. Ryan Dougay is a fabulous lawyer and a good friend. I have hired him for multiple issues and consulted with him on issues pertaining to possible cases. He has always been honest with me and never steered me in the wrong direction. One of the best qualities about him and one of the reasons I call him a friend is, when I filed for divorce he wasn t the typical money hungry shark. Ryan helped my wife and I reconnect and re kindle our marriage vs push me to go through with the suit. Needless to say I dropped the divorce. I have been extremely impressed with my experience while working with Ryan Dougay. He is very driven to fight for his clients. I was caught in a terrifying situation and felt I had done everything I possibly could to protect myself. I was recommended to Ryan via my boyfriend s current lawyer who was also involved with the respondent for family court issues. I met with Ryan and gave him 5 months worth of harassing, threatening, and terrifying information that I had received from this individual. 5 months of nonstop one-way communication, emails, text messages, social media posts, etc. everything you can possibly think of, the file was so large I had to contain it all in a zip file. The email communications were sent to numerous parties where other individuals were also being targeted and attacked by the respondent. Ryan agreeing to take this case on to help protect me meant that he would be putting himself in the crosshairs of this individual. He efficiently reviewed everything, organized it all, and stayed in contact with me frequently so I knew what next steps we were taking together to move forward. He obtained an ex-parte protective order for me and prepped me that stalking protective orders aren t the easiest to win. Our trial was an all-day event and the respondent had subpoenaed individuals. Ryan was so well prepared that he had files already ready with questions to ask her witnesses. He was able to ask the respondents witnesses questions that only hurt her defense. At the end of our trail we were granted a 17-year protective order not only on the grounds of stalking but also on the evidence of family violence and the judge also granted us attorney s fees! His thorough understanding of Texas law is commendable. He knew all of the right avenues to approach for not one particular kind of protective order but two. He is so well versed in family law and criminal that he was able to morph these together to get me the best possible outcome. The fact that he agreed to get involved and risked being caught in the crosshairs of the respondent s constant disregard for law enforcement, current court rulings, and nonstop harassing communication, stalking, and threats is admirable. I am forever grateful to him for his dedication and hard work. I would recommend him over and over again to anyone in need of help. He has proven to me that he will do everything he can to get the right outcome and ensure safety when it is needed. Thank you, Ryan!

OK so I hired Ryan Dougay law firm to help me take care of a custody case with my daughter I wanted full custody so I met with Ryan and I liked him from the get-go. So I have to say I am super glad I chose his law firm and Ryan which represented my case because not only was he thorough he was good he knew what he was doing he covered all the points that I needed in this case and on top of that he got me full custody of my daughter I could not be more happier I definitely recommend Ryan and his Law firm to anyone that needs a good family attorney!!!! I am sure if you didnt have a payment agreement and cash up front you would be treated better. My original review was 2 stars, then it was made 4 because they contacted me about it while on my case.. Over the past several years. attorney.Ryan Dugay, has represented my family in several cases, in both civil and criminal law matters. He is knowledgeable and dedicated to attainment of the best outcome for his client. He listens to his clients and family members then proceeds to explain the good point AND the downside to your case. Which is EXACTLY what you need, an attorney who is brutally honest. Mr. Dugay does not have a fancy office and large staff to serve his clients refreshments. However, he makes up for this with his legal expertise and respectful conduct with his clients. Mr. Dugay,s demeanor is friendly, salt of the earth and soft spoken. But he is fierce where it counts, in court and negotiations. I have no reservations about his skills and wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Dugay for both.civil and criminal matters.

As a military father i would of thought my chances of getting any custody with my daughter was slim to none. As a Male in Texas i thought about giving up and assume i wouldnt have any chance of custody of my daughter. Ryan had stood by my side regardless of any past negative records held against me and fought till the end. Ryan has been my lawyer for three whole years and with much patience I now have custodial custody of my 9yr old daughter who suffered enough back and forth for so long. You dont want a lawyer who will always make you feel like your going to win a case so you give them your money, you want a lawyer who will tell you exactly how it is good news, bad news or worst case scenario. At first i wanted to get a Divorce, custody over with as soon as possible, but Ryan encouraged me to be patient and with much endeavor, it was for the best. His staff is very friendly and resourceful in Ryans absence in court and i would highly recommend anyone i know to Ryan for a Family Lawyer.
