I was nervous to introduce my new puppy to daycare because he is anxious around new people, but the woman who greeted us on day one reassured me that they would go slow with him to earn his trust. He LOVES other dogs and got glowing reviews after his first day, which I appreciated for the fact that they give you an extensive report of how the evaluation day goes for your dog and provided that further reassurance for me. My pup loves going to APC now and drags us to the door every time we go to drop him off. I highly recommend them for day care, and I m looking forward to boarding with them in the near future!

Scammers. I inquired about boarding my dogs more than a week in advance for a one-night stay on a Sunday night. They scheduled me for an evaluation several days later, for which they charged me $70. When I picked up my dogs from the eval, they had no boarding reservation for me and told me that I could not drop off my dogs on a Sunday morning because they were closed. I would have to board them for two nights instead of one, which was double what I needed in the first place and I didnt want to do that. So, the evaluation was a waste of time and they deceived me into bringing my dogs there when I couldnt have boarded them there anyway. When I complained about their horrible communication, they blamed me for not knowing their hours and told me that my request (a week in advance) was last minute. Last - and all new customers should know this: When I walked into the lobby, there was a HORRIBLE stench of rancid dog urine. Now it makes perfect sense why they dont do facility tours and keep the humans out in the parking lot the majority of the time. This place is truly vile.

Love these guys. Our dog goes here regularly for daycare and weve boarded her a couple of times, too. Shes always so excited when we pull in the parking lot to drop her off. She loves it! Also, Austin Pup Culture has some of the best customer service Ive ever encountered in my life lol they are super fast to respond, always kind, always helpful. We love Austin Pup Culture!

Its expensive, but any pet boarding worth their salt is. They contacted us when another dog brought in treats to see if she could have some, when her eyes were weepy due to allergies (willing to arrange a vet appt), and asking about adding pumpkin when she wasnt eating. I could not have asked for more. It is clear they really care about the pups in their care. We will be back.

We re so happy with Austin Pup Culture! Our dog Harper was a timid puppy and she s really come out of her shell from playing at daycare. She clearly loves the staff because she gets really excited as soon as we arrive. She likes it here so much we decided to try boarding her here recently when we went out of town. It was her second time ever being boarded (the first time was somewhere else and it was tough because she was anxious). Boarding her at Austin Pup Culture was a great experience and Harper did very well. She didn t want to leave!

All the APC staff are really professional and smile every time we go drop off Benni. Update: May 2023 Got another pup in February 2021, and she also perks up her ears and wags her tail when its time to go to daycare. Shes been going along weekly with her brother ever since she finished all of her shots. Obi and Elli are goobers, but the APC team takes it all in stride! Original: ~2021 Ive been bringing my pup here for about a year now, and he absolutely loves it. Whether its just for day care or for a longer boarding stay, my floof is wagging his tail and super excited to go inside. All of the staff is wonderful, but a special shout out goes to Kelly, Fawne, and Kaitlyn because clearly there are mornings where Obi prefers them to me. Theyre all super responsive, and if you have questions and are that dog mom (like me), theyre great about answering *everything* and giving you updates through the day. Pre-COVID, when we actually dropped them off inside, my dog would low key drag me to the playroom door. Post-COVID, I feel super comfortable and grateful for the precautions that theyre taking. Pretty sure well be coming in as long as theyre open

I have two Siberian Husky mixes. I worry about them during warmer weather. Its so easy for the breed to overheat. APC was the only place, at the time, that had an in-door day care and for boarding. Both my girls LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it at APC. They know within a couple of blocks when were near and they are all excited. Everyone is so kind to my not-so-well-behaved girls. Im so happy I found this place.

I could not be more thrilled with Austin Pup Culture! They are excellent at daycare and my dog Lucy has an excellent time and is one tired but very happy pup when she comes home. Additionally,Lucy has a great time while she is boarded there. I even had a coworker who was thrilled by recommendation and her dog had a great time during his evaluation day this week. Numerous medical professionals from Dell Childrens Medical Center trust Austin Pup Culture and love to take so many of our dogs there for daycare, boarding and grooming. Theyre the best!

I ve been leaving my puppies with Austin Pup Culture since 2015 and my dogs absolutely love it there. I can tell that my anxious dog Ollie is getting so much love. He will not stay anywhere else. This is the only place he has been that he comes home happy and calm(ish, he is a corgi lol). They ve been amazing through all life events, whether it is the birth of my kids, or vacation. I really appreciate their customer service - they re so good at communicating. I am fully confident that pup is in good hands here.

I was initially pretty excited to learn they were taking new clients. I became a little less excited when I learned they do not offer a facility tour and it is a $38 evaluation day fee, considering both of the other two doggie daycare places in my zip code provided a free evaluation day and a tour (so both you and your dog can test it out). In lieu of a tour, you get a link to some pre-recorded videos. The eval fee is non-refundable and when we arrived 30 minutes too late (my bad, got stuck on a work call) I was abruptly informed they have no flexibility to take dogs if you are more than 15 minutes late, and I could rebook by email and pay the fee again. Okay, fair I guess....but this gave me pause and I decided to carefully review all their policies again before re-committing. Thats when I learned this about their pay-up-front packages: Pet Owner further understands that after the sale, unforeseen circumstances may arise that are not within the control of APC which may prevent Pet Owner from fully utilizing a prepaid package, including, but not limited to: the death of the Pet, the relocation of PetOwner, behavioral changes in the Pet, and the decision to stop utilizing APC services. APC also reserves the right to refuse or terminate services to any Pet or Client for any reason, at any time. In any case, any unused portion of the sale (after deducting used services at regular standard rates) shall be only be transferable for use on other services from APC within the year the package was purchased. So even if your dog dies, or for any reason they decide to terminate your services, theres no refund? I mean, does this sound like a place that has your (or your pups) best interest at heart?

the people who work at this establishment are rude and don t work as a team. things are unorganized, and they treat the younger workers as inferior. they don t seem to take their jobs seriously with the exception of two women who work there. i ve overheard them talking badly about the younger women. it begs the question that if they treat eachother so poorly, i doubt they re treating the animals any better. i would recommend being cautious about trusting them with your animals.

We have been coming here for years with our two dogs. We initially had no problems, but I called in September to book our dogs in December for the holidays. Come December I called to confirm something and they admitted they remember speaking with me but forgot booking. We were scrambling at the last minute and almost cancelled our holiday. Sure, mistakes happen, but there was no reconciliation. We recently had a family emergency and inquired same day about boarding our dogs. When we said we no longer needed it same day, they slapped us with a late cancellation fee from us inquiring two hours prior. We never ever ever write bad reviews, but we feel they can work on their empathy and customer service moving forward. We will not be returning.

My 2 dogs have been coming here for at least 6 years or so. I CANNOT overemphasize how much they love coming for boarding and daycare. They get so excited when we pull into the parking lot and honestly couldnt care less about me once they realize they are going to play with their buddies . A lot of the staff have been consistent so it just shows that these people really like their jobs taking care of dogs. Its also nice that our dogs get to experience that consistency. One of our dogs has had a few issues (back injury, multiple teeth pulled) and the staff has ALWAYS been able to be flexible and cater to his needs at that specific time. It feels so amazing to know that our boys will be well taken care of when we need to travel. Love it here!

They were a great daycare for my dog but accused me of not paying quite rudely (and in front of others) when my husband had paid in the morning. I told them it was already paid for and well, they never apologized. I felt like dirt so I now take my dogs elsewhere with no regrets.

Our dogs love it here! They always get excited when we roll into the parking lot. This place has an indoor play area so dogs can play safely even if its very hot or storming. Weve had excellent experiences here for both boarding and daycare. Update two years after my previous review: Still taking my dogs here, they still love it! COVID safety protocols have been very good and staff is still as awesome as they always have been.

My dog Minnie is always so happy after I pick up her up from daycare! She doesnt like drinking water from the same bowl as other dogs. So, if your dog is the same way Id recommed just making sure they drink a lot before they go to daycare! This has worked out for us well and we havent had any dehydration issues. Whatever they re doing, they re doing right! My very anxious and hyper dog absolutely loves going to day care and boarding here. Because of their amazing staff, I can take trips and go to work, knowing my dog is in great hands and loving life. Since going to day care, my dog is more social with other dogs and she always comes home exhausted from a great day. My puppy, Benji, always has a great time. The staff are super nice and responsive, and you can tell he loves them too because as soon as he sees them his tail starts wagging. He always comes home tired (which is nice), and I dont worry about him during the day because I know he is in good hands. I also like that they post on Instagram so I can see him and the other dogs playing!

Me and my dog love Pup culture. Both overnight stays and day care for years. He is always excited to get there, and tired out when hes done. The staff is great. Its on the pricier side but you get piece of mind and the dogs are kept in a nice room instead of a cage.

Ok, if youre reading this you are probably big on 2 things - reviews and your dogs well being. I have 3 dogs and extremely overprotective of my dogs so I am big on reviews. I have been taking my dogs here for a year now and we LOVE this pace. Never had 1 problem and my dogs blessed there once a month as well as go to day care. The staff is super sweet, loving and caring. They even do fun posts of your dog on their Instagram! We do the luxury suite SSI they can all stay together and they always send cute updates edith pics when km out of town. I wouldnt trust anyone else with my critters and I didnt take them anywhere else. Highly recommend.

Weve been boarding our dog here for the past year. He loves this place! It does feel a little pricey, but APCs overnight and daycare rates are right on par with many of the other facilities in the area that offer non-private sleeping arrangements (APC has private rooms) and much less air-conditioned play space (APCs indoor space is huge and big and little dogs are separated). There always seems to be supervision in the play areas, and our dog has never had any issues or injuries. Staff will get to know your pup by name and they fill out a report card/condition checklist every day to ensure your pup is healthy and having fun. Highly recommended!

Our pup had fun and was worn out when we picked him up. The reason two stars were docked is because they told us they threw our dogs favorite bone in the trash and gave no clear answer as to why. He loved that bone and didnt touch the new toys left with him. I gave him the old toy to keep him comforted without us. Its upsetting to know his comfort toy was thrown away for no reason.

Ive used this kennel for boarding my dog multiple times. They always take great care of him. They also have been good about adjusting to changes in the length of stay or pick-up time as my personal schedule changes. The staff is always sweet and kind. Its a good place to take your dog. They do have an open play area for the dogs to socialize. I rate kennels based on two things: 1st) Does my dog come home banged up and scabbed from fights? NO, my dog was in perfect shape. 2nd) Does my dog want to stay at the kennel? YES, my dog did not want to leave Austin Pup Culture. Its a good place for your dog to socialize and its safe as well.

My dog contracted kennel cough there. He was the third dog at the office in a 24-48 hour period that had stayed at Pup Culture and had kennel cough. Pup Culture did not notify folks. I would hate to hear that someone spent hundreds at the emergency vet simply due to the lack of notification. (Kennel cough can sound like your dog has something in its throat). I liked it before that, but had to get baths right before pickup because my dog smelled terrible after playing there. Now I am disappointed and will never go back. Quarantined my dog, paid some vet bills, grrr.

I have always found it difficult to trust anyone to take care of my dog. Inevitably there are times when I cant be there with him, and I am so thankful I found Austin Pup Culture to help. Not only are their facilities clean and well-maintained, but their staff are also incredibly friendly and theyve always taken such great care of my dog. And seeing pictures posted on the Austin Pup Culture Instagram page while Im traveling helps to put my crazy-dog-mom mind at ease - I can actually see that hes having a GREAT time! Being a Veterinary Technician I am very protective of my dog. Austin Pup Culture is by far the best boarding facility Ive seen. The staff is very caring, and takes the time to know your dog. The facility is a perfect place that makes it a vacation for your dog as well as you. The play time that the dogs get is the best part. Our dog had a blast all weekend playing inside and outside. When we picked her up we got to see her playing, and almost felt bad that we were taking her away from such a fun place. Personalized daily report cards on what she did every day was a great touch. Any time we come back to Austin we will be bringing our dog just so she can go back.

Ive been bringing my puppy here for about 6 weeks now, and while I always got report cards saying she loved playing with other pups she would come home hyperactive like shed just been sitting in a kennel for a while. Well I went to pick her up today and was 6 minutes past noon so I got charged for an extra half day of play, while I thought it a bit nit picky I decided to let my pup stay until 4:00 to play with the other dogs some more while I ran errands since I was getting charged for it anyway. When I picked my pup up, they gave me her food container back with one of her meals still in it, when I asked about why she hadnt been fed one of her meals I was lied to and told my puppy just didnt finish what she had been given (she has never not finished a meal since I adopted her). All in all, if someone just forgot to feed my dog thats one thing, please dont lie about it.

I struggled whether to give a 4 or 3 star. This is a safe place to bring your pup. Call early and reserve for trips or holidays. They will be overbooked frequently. This place plays the pets for sure, but the space is limited and its in the middle of an urban area. I noticed my dog didnt seem as excited to go.....so we moved to another place. which is fine.... The people that run the place are nice, they do a great job keeping the dogs safe while your gone......so they do their job for sure. but not the place for us.....

She gets along with a lot of dogs but has issues with some, as well, and APC has been wonderful in monitoring and creating play groups that work for all dogs involved. My dog loves loves LOVES Austin Pup Culture. He loves it more than belly rubs and bacon and he really loves bacon. The staff is always super friendly and really great at what they do and they have instagram so you can see all the fun events and good times all the pups are having! When we first started bringing Bertie (hes a tiny 7lb) to APC he was nervous and a little fearful of other dogs but thanks to Austin Pup Culture weve seen him transform into a socialized little diva. This place is very dirty and unsanitary, I dont see how they are in business. The staff is not qualified to care for the dogs they have. My dog came home smelling like it had been sleeping in its own feces and with very bad diarrhea. They do not have any outdoor area for the dogs, all dogs are required to go to the bathroom indoors while in a large room with other dogs. I will never take my pups to this type of culture again.

I have been going to Austin Pup Culture since they opened, and they have always been amazing with my dog Maggie. She was very nervous at first, but they helped her learn to love the play time. Every time she comes home from doggie daycare she is so tired and happy! Wouldnt take her anywhere else.

I am big fan of APC and so is my German Shepherd. Every time we round the corner and pull into the parking lot my pup gets so excited. The staff is always welcoming and remembers every dogs name. Their prices are reasonable for what you get and my pup is always good and tired when she gets home. The only thing I wish they had was more outdoor space, but every time I pull up some one is out walking the dogs.

We always take our 80+ pound coonhound mutt Pacino to Austin Pup Culture, and he loves it. The staff are friendly, professional, and genuinely LOVE animals. The owners and staff are passionate people, and it resonates in everything they do for their business. The space is spacious and fun, with awesome colorful wall art. Overall, you just cannot find a free-range, air-conditioned doggie day care and boarding place that is centrally located with such excellent service. We will never stop taking our dog here!

Our beagle and pit mix LOVE Pup Culture. They hang out in Doggy Day Care, and we have also boarded them a couple of times. Our beagle is lacking in social skills. She gets anxious around other dogs, but really wants to play. Pup Culture understands her and makes certain she is in the right place throughout the day. They take great care of our dogs and we appreciate having a place they can call home when we are gone.
