I have had a difficult divorce. I went to several attorneys and was turned down multiple times. I shared my story with Mr. Merritt and he was willing to listen to my issues and then accepted me as a client. Mr. Merritt fought for me when everything was against us. He understood me even when I was emotional. His office was compassionate and cared when I needed help. If I could have given him a standing ovation during the closing arguments, I would have. I highly recommend Mr. Merritt s firm. Especially if you have are in a difficult divorce.

Chris through and through was a professional who understands the system and will prepare you on what might happen and will happen. Hes honest and gets straight to the point of the situation. I had been dealing with a childs medical payment lawsuit that I shouldve never been sued for as well as TX AGs Office mistakenly setting up wrong child support payments amounts that without Chris, the issue wouldve never gotten resolved. Grateful that I found Chris and I highly recommend him to anyone going through hard co-parenting times.

Chris Is the best lawyer I could have ever been lucky enough to work with. The idea of getting a divorce was so hard to even think about but Chris made it very comfortable for me because he understood the difficulty , the decisions and how brave one must be as to leave hard marriage. He was there with understanding and helped me through every hoop. I have learned a lot from my experience and I would thoroughly recommend Chris if you are married to someone who is very manipulating. It s gonna be hard no matter what but it s really important that you have somebody like Chris in your corner to help you. He knows best how to get you through this process. I just finished my divorce with Chris. He was originally recommended to me by a good friend of mine of 20 years, Patrick Odaniel, Partner, Norton, Rose Fullbright. This was a very complex case with a lot at stake. I found Chris to be meticulous, responsive, fair. He proved to be in tune to the Judges , mediators, the whole process. I m so glad I hired Chris Merritt to handle my divorce case. Divorce is stressful enough, especially with kids and property involved, but Chris kept me abreast of everything that was happening and what to expect every step of the way. From my first court appearance, through mediation, and the final court appearance, I knew I had a trusted professional representing me. He listened to my issues attentively and when I had questions or concerns, he would call or email me back in a very timely matter. My case ended up going through mediation, and Chris was great in dealing with the negotiations and getting me the best possible outcome. My only regret was not hiring him sooner. I know if I have a custody issue in the future, I will turn to Mr. Merritt to handle the situation quickly and professionally.

His office prepared and organized a concise case for us, that allowed the court to easily focus on the critical issues we were dealing with. If you are dealing with a divorce or God forbid, custody issues, you can hire Christopher Merritt, and know that you are represented by a highly qualified and engaged attorney.
