Delaney was absolutely incredible. This was my first time here & she explained the menu thoroughly & had high energy. The food was incredibly delicious. We went for the 2pc tender: dang hot & the slider: mo hot . We also got a side of stupid hot which was hot af. LOL. Mac n cheese is was a hit too. Drinks are cheap & strong just like the menu says. Will come back 10 times over

There was an order due at 7:13 to be picked up, they told him it would be 8 minutes, waited 22 minutes for it. With other people coming and going and getting their orders faster. My partner was the one going into pick up the order for delivery while we waited for him which lacks AC in the front. These people have absolutely no consideration for delivery drivers. I am so freaking tired of seeing restaurants like these take more than 20 minutes to give to-go orders well after the due time. When you do this youre holding up other peoples money. Ive worked in fast food before and was never so rude! They didnt even so much as offer a cup of water or anything. 10/10 wont deliver for again.

This spot is really good when craving fried chicken! Regarding the burger s, The breading tastes a little bland, but tastes great as a whole! The sides are also really good and service is top notch! The Korean Bbq burger is very different and tastes great! The Szechuan fries are little unexpected, as they taste kind of sweet, I was expecting spicy.

Got the dirty fries and a bunch of hot tenders with come back sauce. Weve been many times and its always great. 2024 September update: Sechuan fries good, Korean BBQ tenders were good, not great. Come here for the Nashville chicken. Go to Donkey Moes for Korean chicken (Im looking for better alternates) Wheelchair accessibility: Its easy to get to the patio, a little tougher to get inside.

This was some of the best chicken I have had in Austin! There was enough variety for everyone to get something that they liked and they had a decent amount of indoor and outdoor seating. I highly recommend ending off your meal with their homemade pies; the chocolate chip pecan pie was one of the top 3 pies I ve had in my life! The staff was kind and responsive; especially because we had a pretty large party, she was very accommodating and helpful! The restaurant itself has a homey vibe and is also dog friendly! I would definitely recommend to try this place out if you are in the area!

Outstanding service (thank you, Kensey!), tasty fried chicken, fabulous dirty fries (fries with queso, shredded fried chicken, and bread and butter pickles), excellent sides (especially liked the broccoli salad!), wonderful pies, and inexpensive draft beer and mixed drinks what s not to love? Order your chicken with the level of spicy heat you desire. Just plain hot was plenty spicy for me, but you can dial it up several notches from that if you want. Sit inside if you want AC, or on the large covered porch, cooled by lots of fans. I love the fact that they let you choose your own table. The parking lot in front fills quickly, with one row dedicated to their robust online order business, but there is parking next door read the signs for where. Vegetarian options: While this is a chicken restaurant, a vegetarian could have a full and satisfying meal from the sides, which are delicious. Parking: Parking is limited, so if full, look for signs that direct you to additional parking next door.

This used to be my favorite fried chicken hut, to the point where I would travel from Kyle, Texas. My family was in town, and I decided to bring them to Tumble 22. My mother has a medical condition and could not eat the items off the menu, so she brought her own food. However, the majority of my party, 6 out of 7 people, ordered at Tumble 22, with a bill well over $80. This will be my last time dining here due to the terrible service. My mother was confronted and told that she could not enjoy her meal. After we defended her, she was then asked to specify her medical condition in order to actually eat with her family.

By far, THE BEST fried chicken Ive had since I can remember. Parking is a bit of a nightmare, but theres plenty of parking around the neighbor, too. If you havent been to this place I highly recommend it. The chicken tenders were massive. I only got a 2 peice with DELICIOUS fries. VERY affordable. The service was great. I didnt have time to sit and eat, but they helped me in ordering at the entrance, and my food was ready in probably 3 mins, and it was still fresh! Go try it out! You wont regret it!

Quick service, delicious food! We came here with a group of 9 after saturday paddleboarding on lady bird lake. Got seated immediately, got our food and drinks so fast, food hot & fresh 5/5 dirty fries - I love that they use white queso and smothered the fries! Would be happy with a little more chicken, but it wasnt a problemo. Great price and portion for 3-4 to share! 5/5 the lil og - plenty big for me. The dang hot was a great heat level for a spicy lover. Crispy outside of the chicken, juicy interior. The pickles provided balance and perfect flavorful bites! I love tumble 22! I think this is definitely top-notch chicken with a good heat scale. You get what you want. Its Nashville style hot chicken, so if you dont like that, Id say just get no spice because even without anything added, they make their chicken very well! The chicken sandwich and fries were room temperature and tasted stale, as if they had been sitting out for hours. The chicken was tough and stringy, making it difficult to chew, resembling old chicken. Shortly after consuming the meal, I began to feel ill and have been unable to stop vomiting since. Additionally, the pie cust was soggy and had a few greenish dots on the crust, leading me to discard it. This experience was highly disappointing - it seems as though I received leftover scraps, possibly because the order was placed close to closing time.

Honestly, phenomenal chicken. Buttery and crispy, but not greasy. Was less of a fan of the thigh, but loved the rest. The Mac and cheese is insanely creamy. Their second level spicy is totally doable, and its a dry rub as well, so its better cooked in than a sauce. But its great to get it separate to add to the Mac.

The review below me about the rude server is definitely only one stretched side of the story. We were customers sitting at the table next to this man. The customer walked in alone and chose the only 6 top table in the room. The server approached and asked how many would be joining him. He said it would be a party of three, the server politely said okay, I do just want to let you know that its no big deal right now because we are not busy, but for future reference we try to save the bigger tables for bigger parties. He was not rude, but the customer snapped backed with thats fine because we will not be back which rightfully upset this hard working server. Love Tumble 22 food , Nashville Hot Chicken and sides, and this patio rules now that they expanded it. The staff is great and the HH rocks. The issue I have is dont mess with something when its done well. The Dirty Mac & Cheese is a family favorite, lately its very little Mac and loads of orange oil all over it. I know this is what you add your kick/spicy flavor too, but instead of shredded chicken breast with some fried skin on it mixed in its a huge heap of the crispy fried skin and too much orange oil that is greasing up my Mac n cheese. Please do it quality style like you used to. It was too hot to enjoy so they brought me another and it was more of the same. *The N store was far worse. Bragged they sold so much of it they barely had time to cook the chicken. It was more like Bioled chicken meat n Mac so I havent been back to that location since thr Manager told me that in defense of NO friend chicken skin w the meat. Isnt there a happy medium so I can order it again and love it? The fried chicken rules. ** You may see Elon here or his minions taking up extra spaces in a packed lot so no one dings their cool kids cars. Just use one space too. *Also handicapped spot was taken by a 20 yr old delivery driver w no handicapped plates or plaque, FYI. Parking: There is other night parking somehow at the business next door after hrs behind and above the resturaunt but it is hard to navigate it and park safely and get out easyily.probably 12 -15 spots. Wheelchair accessibility: See above last couple of lines in reviews. Not really wheelchair accessible that I can see due to steps. I handicapped spots though there are like 8 spots for pick up to go. Lol.

SUPER good food. My waiter was extremely friendly. Probably one of the best restaurant service I ve had . Everyone was really nice and they had my food out with in 5 minutes of ordering. Truly one of the best restaurant experiences I ve ever had ( so much so that I m leaving a review, which I don t rly do ) . Literal only complaint is that they have sweet pickles which I don t like but no biggie. Waiter gave good recommendations and everything I ordered , I really enjoyed. DELICIOUS! Do not sleep on that mac and cheese. I will be coming back regularly, price wasn t even that bad at all either!

T22 is one of the better spots in town for fried chicken. Although I think the chicken was better before they sold to new ownership- the batter was thicker and is now noticeably thinner. I visit T22 once or twice per month on a regular basis. The Big Larry magarita is great. You can t go wrong with the OG sandwiches, tenders, or 1/4 chicken meals with fries. Some of the other sides are only okay. The buttermilk & pecan chocolate pies are delicious also. Most recently our server Will was very friendly and helpful.
