Worth every penny. Nhi emailed back super quick when I was looking to book & whenever I had questions. We took our photos just 9 days ago and we already got them back! Nhi was AMAZING to work with from start to finish! We were lucky enough to have Nhi capture both our engagement at the Penn State Arboretum as well as our wedding day. Nhi was so thoughtful in every aspect of planning, even going above and beyond to help my fiancé plan the proposal by FaceTiming with him to plan to the perfect phot ready spot and time of the day to pop the question. Then, hiding in the bushes to capture it all on camera! After our engagement, it was a no brainer who we wanted to capture our wedding day! Nhi had every detail planned from a planning phone call and forms to ensure we got every photo we wanted to ensuring we had a private and intimate first look, all captured in her beautiful light, airy style portraits! Nhi also made sure to travel to each area of the venue ahead of time to scout out the perfect places to shoot our bridal portraits, family photos, and wedding party pictures. Nhi also went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied with all the locations and photos throughout the day and was so speedy to get both the sneak peak and the entire gallery back to us in less than a month. Nhi and her associate Claudia were amazing!!! I absolutely loved the entire process, and had so much fun on the day of the photoshoot for my graduation pictures. Nhi made sure that everything was planned perfectly ahead of time and I loved how organized she was! She sent out detailed instructions on where to park at all of my selected locations beforehand. My originally scheduled time to take photos had to be rescheduled due to rain, but Nhi worked with me and was so kind to help me schedule a better day! Claudia was amazing to work with and made me feel so comfortable while taking pictures. The photos are beautiful and I am so happy that I chose Nhi Thai Photography!

I cannot say enough good things about Nhi and her work!! I wanted some maternity pictures of my husband and I for my first pregnancy, and I am so glad we chose to do them with Nhi! From the beginning, she was friendly, warm, organized and very accommodating. I loved that she had different packages that we could chose from to fit our needs. My husband and I have very crazy work schedules, and she was able to be available for the one date and time that we needed. She took the time before our pictures to get to know us and understand what we were looking for. She also helped up pick out the perfect location and outfits, which I was very grateful for because it took the stress away from me! We did a winter photoshoot and the location she picked was perfect. We had the best time with her during our photoshoot! All we had to do was smile, laugh and listen to her instructions and she did all the rest! She is so talented! The pictures were incredible and I couldn t have asked for anything better! She did a great job capturing all our excitement and love for our baby! The hardest part.. picking which pictures I like the best! :)

Nhi Thai was the photographer I chose to photograph my son for his graduation from Penn State. Everything about my experience with Nhi was wonderful. Nhi has a very helpful and kind demeanor. She is very timely and responsive. One aspect that makes Nhi stand above other photographers is her level of organization and dedication to getting the details right. As soon as you retain her, she will send you a helpful guide about what photographs best with respect to color and outfit choices, props, makeup, etc. She discloses exactly what camera/ lens she uses on her website (see What s in my camera bag ) and takes many, many pictures during the session different poses, of course, as well as different angles of each pose to give the best chance at getting that perfect shot. Afterwards she goes though all, scrutinizing the details and puts her professional touch on a beautiful selection. My goal with our session was to have a picture that I could put on my living room wall and treasure forever. What I received was many pictures that accomplish just that! The pictures that can be purchased through the gallery are very reasonable priced, excellent quality, and packaged very well so they arrive in perfect condition. Our experience with Nhi Thai photography was perfect from beginning to end.

Nhi is so funny and easy to work with! Her attention to detail is incredible-- she was constantly checking to make sure hair was out of faces, eyelashes off of cheeks, clothing wasnt puckering or wrinkled, and it was obvious she was going through a continuous check list of items she knew could ruin the shot. She was early, I saw her scoping out the area and looking at the lighting. She was organized, had all he equipment ready and swapped out lenses in a flash. she sent exact coordinates to meet at. She did not waste any time, with our couples photos she took advantage of the opportunity to take individual shots at any time (so if one partner was changing, retrieving something, fixing hair etc) shed pull the other unoccupied partner aside and snap a few photos. She incorporated the candid shots we requested, the scenery we requested, and even some odd artistic requests we made. i have seen some of the sneek peak photos less that 24 hours after the photoshoot and I am in love. I will work with her again for future shoots. Her webpage guidance is also extremely helpful, and when we asked her to take the reigns on location/posing in areas we were less certain about she did a perfect job taking control to provide the best version of us. 100/10.

Highly recommended! Nhi was recommended from a friend and her pictures turned out amazing. So for our engagement photo session, I warned Nhi she would have her hands full with me. These photos will mean a lot to me for personal reasons and she certainly took that as a priority. She was great with communication and easy to get in contact with. She was so fun to work with! She arrived super early to make sure she located exact locations and timing of our session. She was so upbeat, encouraging and used her professional skills to navigate us through our session without making us feel awkward during the poses that it truly felt in the moment, with the laughter and smiles that it was a date night! My wife wanted a family photo shoot for our anniversary. Due to four young adult children with different schools and careers, there was one day when we would all be in State College for a graduation. Nhi was booked for that day but was able to move appointments around and schedule us. (Thanks Nhi) Prior to the photoshoot, Nhi helped choose our location, gave tips for wardrobe and for what to expect on the day of the shoot. Nhi was very good at getting us to pose and was always checking for small things that could mess a photo (shirts getting untucked, hands in awkward position, rearranging poses so that it wasnt just one photo over and over etc.) The pictures reflect that attention to detail. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a professional experience with professional results Nhi also got our gallery to us much sooner than promised. I simply can not say enough great things about Nhi Thai Photography. First of all, Nhi is the absolute sweetest person in the world and makes you feel so comfortable and happy during your photo shoot. She is incredibly talented and she cares so much about her clients that it shines through in the photos. She also takes care of literally everything, including telling you how to pose and even where to put your hands or how to cross your legs in photos this was super helpful and made my photos turn out so cute. She takes the time to get to know her clients through pre-shoot questionnaires and back and forth communication and tailors the whole photo shoot to the specific person. For me, this included so many joyous pictures in which I look genuinely happy (because I was!) and it is the biggest blessing for me and my family to be able to look back on these happy memories. I hired Nhi to commemorate my college graduation from Penn State University, let me tell you, this was one of the best decisions I could have made. From the time I arrived at the infamous Nittany Lion for our first photo shoot location, I knew it was going to be a great experience. Plus Nhi let it be known that she was feisty when someone tried to bully her into giving up a hard to get parking spot in that location, I knew I had chosen correctly. She was full of energy and gave great direction, came well prepared with an abundance of camera lens, suggested poses and even found ways to incorporate my graduation balloons into my session. I had so much fun and I especially loved the sneak peek and the actual reveal (via Zoom) for my full photo gallery. Also note that I had a few requests for touch ups for a few pictures since it was so hot and humid during my shoot and Nhi let me know that she would do what she had to do to ensure my pictures looked even better than the originals. Would definitely recommend Nhi if you re in the State College area and want to capture your special occasion beautifully. Highly recommend!!

I booked Nhi for a four generation family photo shoot recently. It was a great experience from beginning to end. Nhi worked very well with our group, ages 3 to 91. She was kind, friendly, enthusiastic, helpful, professional, and very fun to work with. The weather was a little tricky, and she fluidly moved from outside to inside to back outside while getting great pictures all the time. And I m extremely happy with our photos. She captured many images that we will treasure for years to come. And the value of her package is amazing. I paid less and got much more than I have from other photographers we used in the past. I cannot say enough good things about Nhi. First, she isn t just a photographer. She gets to know your family before your shoot and my girls instantly felt comfortable with her when she called them by name upon meeting. Nhi was also a tremendous help with coordinating outfits in advance. She gave helpful feedback on what would look good (or not) with the natural light, background, etc. Our young daughters had a blast during the shoot itself and were sad when it was over. Throughout the shoot, Nhi paid close attention to every detail. And then, I was blown away to see the finished product. Nhis work is amazing; her style is unique and stands out from the crowd. She was so easy to work with; great with my kids, very efficient with time, a great communicator throughout the process. Her style guide was so helpful! We were supposed to have only a 1.5 hour session, but due to long wait times for graduation photos she was willing to extend our session to accommodate all of the pictures I wanted. My wish was for my daughter to feel pretty in her senior photos; her request was for only genuine smiles - Nhi achieved both. We could not have been happier. Our daughter chose to combine senior photos with family pictures. While other photographers would not accommodate this for us, Nhi didnt hesitate.
