This place is pretty great. I loved the food (I went with just a standard Bratwurst). Nice selection of burgers and hot dogs/sausages. Its counter service and most of the seating is semi-communal (long tables that you share with other guests) which fits right in with the German theme. Ill definitely go back. Parking: Parking is okay, it was very full at lunchtime, but there were still spaces.

The bartenders always act like they dont want to deal with food orders. Been here a few times to support them, but I think Im done with them after my last visit. Update 2: why do I keep coming here? lol and when do you guys NOT do trivia night? Every Thursday and Friday I come in it s too loud in here. I can t talk and socialize inside over the event. Update: Recently, this place has not kept up with expectations. I ve had my food forgotten while dinning it, just sitting there waiting while my friends ate. Then the last time I was in they did not wrap their hotdog in bacon, but instead added bacon bits on top. That s not the same! I asked if they changed the recipe and was told they had. I haven t been back since. I feel like I was sold something I didn t order and lied to. If your cutting corners for profit with bacon bits I m just sad cuz I really liked your food. 5 months ago: Love love love their bacon wrapped hot dogs. The Old Town specifically. Delicious! Their spicy chicken sandwich called The Hot Chick is great too. Everything else is meh to me. Wish they had more variety in their beers, too. Still recommend them.

Im frugal and always hesitant to try new places but the happy hour specials are such a good deal with a lot of food! The chicken tenders are huge for half off! Bartender kicked us out because of my sisters psychiatric service dog which is illegal. We are contemplating our options for handling this legally. In no situation can you kick someone out for their required service animal. Edit: The owner offered us free coupons to come back in response to illegally denying access to our service animal. Why would we want to come back and how would this make up for it at all?

I was kicked out by the bartender because of my service dog. I tried to calmly explain to the man (bartender, African American) that it s against the law to kick out service animals and especially people for having a service animal, and they need to look in to their laws, yet he proudly smiled and announced yeah okay, I understand, but we don t allow any dogs .. yeah, he clearly doesn t understand. I repeated that he s a service dog. and he said yeah, we don t allow those either, not service dogs, no dogs at all. I tried to explain that it s against the law to not allow service animals and that it s no different than telling me I can t come in because I have a wheelchair or take medication (as simple of examples as I can possibly give for someone this untrained and uneducated regarding service dog rights) and this man still laughed and said again, I understand but we don t allow service dogs or any dogs, then stood there waiting for us to get up and leave. He wasn t even going to bother calling a supervisor or asking someone for confirmation on his choice? This is discrimination. I m appalled by the lack of basic knowledge here. He tops that off by smiling saying, he appreciates us and to have a great day while he watched us get up and leave.. what a joke. It s absurd the lack of training here and the condescending way he went about this not even listening as I tried to give fair warning it s illegal. I have plenty of options to defend my rights here.. but first and foremost, somebody needs to retrain this guy. He should realize how silly that display of pure ignorance was and how embarrassing it is for the person with a disability to get kicked out in front of everyone. I m not sure how many times a person has to state it s illegal to him to get him to understand that I m just trying to educate YOU because some serious repercussions can come from you standing your ground on discriminating like this right now. He still didn t care, still didn t what to hear what I was saying.

Loved bringing my pups here after time at the lake! They were allowed inside vs. Just the patio. The ONLY server there was doing everything...orders, running food, bartending, clean up! Every time I come here, the food and service decrease and the prices increase. This time, I got a hot dog that was supposed to be bacon-wrapped, but it wasnt. Instead, they threw some bacon bits on it that tasted like dog food. I also got a side of onions rings for $5, which only had like 7 rings. Almost 80 cents a ring is wild. The cost of the food was about twice what it should be for the quality/portions. Probably wont be back.

I came to this place with high expectations because of a couple of recommendations, and my experience was not good. The food in this place is ok, nothing memorable, however the service is really bad, since the moment you get in, you can feel the apathy of the cashier and rather than helping, he was rushing us to make choices. The order took more than 40 minutes to arrive even when the place was not even half full on a Saturday evening. First came the main dishes and later the sides of fries which came wrong and took even longer to rectify. This was a bad experience for my family, we will not go back and cannot recommend this place to anybody.

Amazing breakfast burritos! I crave them! Delicious side sauces. Crispiest tots around! Make sure you get some sauce for tots too! I always get the bronco burrito add caramelized onions! Chefs kiss! This past time happened to be the best yet and it s always good! Sometime ingredients are missing or I don t get all the sauces that are charged for. The burger was ok but pricey for what u get .i don t think I would order that again. Freddie s makes a better burger with more meat just down the road .. cheaper too. Maybe the sausage items are better. Update: ordered the hot dog special $12. One hot dog, fries and a drink whaaat I can get two hot dogs and a drink in NYC for $6.50 at least the portions are good. Unfortunately, they use Hawaiian role, which just falls apart and doesn t pair well with the sausage. I d rate the sausage a little better than a Costco dog Pretty empty on a Friday lunch. Food was great and at 8pm on a Friday, there wasnt a soul there. I got the little mule burger and chili cheese tots for the table. Tots were super crunchy and tasty. The burger had a fried egg and Corina cheese along with all the fixings on a Hawaiian role which was pretty darn good. this location operates a ghost kitchen restaurant through delivery apps by the name of Plant B that is labeled vegetarian. despite that vegetarian label, we received one impossible burger that included real bacon, and one real beef burger. the entire order came in Dog Haus packaging. if youre gonna run a separate cash grab restaurant to cater to vegetarians, maybe make sure that the food you sell through that platform is actually vegetarian.

I really like the 620 location, it is one of my favorite spots when Im over there. So when I saw the cedar park location was open naturally we went. For a new location I was hoping for more. The food, once you get it, is pretty good. The fact that you enter your order into a computer when arriving vs someone there to take your order is pretty weak. I had a pretty lackluster experience at the Dog Haus, the atmosphere was nice and inviting, however the food and service left me barking in disappointment. When we arrived at the restaurant the ordering process was off-putting. We couldnt order our food and drinks at the bar and look at a menu, we had to order in a line. Some restaurants do this and I get it, but for $16 for a hotdog and chili cheese tots, I expect a more hands-on service approach. Once at the bar, the wait-staff were busier looking at their phones than being concerned with my presence. It took several minutes to place a beer order. Lastly - Between the tiny portion, old, stale, lukewarm tater-tots serving for $5.50, a burnt $10 corn-dog, an $11 bratwurst that was boiled but never hit a grill for some texture and flavor, lukewarm, and mushy grilled onions that ate like baby-food, I wasnt impressed with the food. I expected more for a $40+ hotdog meal for two people with a drink each. There was no white wine less than 2 days old based on their markings on the label and would be hard pressed to go back to the restaurant and wouldnt recommend the Dog Haus to my friends based on my first impression.

2nd time weve visited this location and I want to like this place. Its trendy and cool. The beer selection is very good and the food could be excellent, but they do a couple things that turn me off. All of their buns used for the Hamburgers & Sausages are created by slicing Hawaiian Sweet Rolls. I guess some people like this because they havent changed it, but its too much for us and our friends. Please give us standard bun options and that will fix the biggest issue I have here. The second issue is the overloading of the sauces. Your meats are amazing. Best to let them shine through. Just my two cents.

Best dogs I ve ever had-delicious!! We went on a Saturday for lunch. Front of house service was great- very friendly!! The back of the house staff caused a negative impact to the service level. There was a male staff member that let another tables food sit at the window for at least 5-7 minutes while he kept look at the other 2 front of the house staff working hard helping customers, he just kept waiting for them to deliver the food. Want to mention there were 2 other staff member working in his area so he wasn t by himself. Finally after a very long time of him just standing there watching the other 2, he delivered the food to the other table. We noticed this because we were waiting for a food item and we were going to get it ourselves if it came up because he wasn t moving. To end on a positive, the chili tater tots were yummy!!

I am not usually prone to hyperbole but this time I will make an exception. As far as sports bar food goes this might be the best I have had in years. I had the chili dog (cant remember what they call it) and it was fantastic. Service was unfortunately not great, as they seemed short-staffed and overwhelmed. Food was great service was ok but the wait for the food is terrible I came 2 days in a row and food took over 20 minutes both times for a hot dog the first time and a burger the second and my fries were cold ridiculous but other than that it s cool just not a place to eat if you re on your lunch break

I dont know how Las Palapas and Smoke House Pizza are out of business. This place is brutal. Sticky floors walking in, manager serving us has no clue what wine they have, and the food was less than state fair quality. Save yourself the trip unless you just want to drink beer and watch sports. I do love a great sports bar, this is not it.

was really gross. went down hill after kathy sold the place. sauces look and taste gross, besides the ketchup. the fried chicken was grossly soft and batter was almost gooey. bread was well bread. forgot to give us a few items we ordered as well. if i was able to give 0 stars i would. the inside is like a ghost town chilis has better chicken

Got 2 dogs a brat and tots to go. Food was great. The portions were large and the hotdogs were wrapped in bacon! Small liquor selection at the bar lots of draught choices. Staff seemed friendly enough. Go to hotdog place! Parking: Next to a chick filet,... Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids there.

Really simple, but really good. Love the veggie Cali but I have to order it as a different hot dog with the sauce on the side-- its really intense spicy otherwise. Their bread is essentially Hawaiian rolls... And Im here for it. I didnt realize how good they worked as regular bread lol. Love it, so simple, so effective

The hotdogs are as good as they look in the pictures. These are not typical cookout hotdogs. They are high quality large beef hotdogs, with buns that are large and slightly sweet and pair deliciously. My favorite was the downtown hotdogs. They also have a great beer selection on tap. I cannot wait to go back!

We paid it was sad no fries with a burger. Shake machine broken. 12.99 for 6 wings. Tiny margarita, They gave our wings to another party but we had to bring it up. No offer of something extra. We took them to go because they came out late. Oh yeah. We tipped before the service. We didn t get service consistent with the tip.

After an extended wait, I was served a luke warm braut with very little sauerkraut and served with mustard despite twice asking it not be put on. The employee behind the counter was on the phone and did not acknowledge any customers entry or follow up w delivered food. Going here yesterday was worth the drive as the menu had a lot as well able to custom. Im trying something wild. I started out with the cowboy dog as well as getting the fonz. Just without the pastrami, the corn dog I had, I used beef chorizo and cowboy burger. Everything was amazing. As the atmosphere was mellow and relaxing for that day, the food arrived in time, and I knew I couldnt have finished it all but took the burger home as it still was delicious later on. The staff were amazing and helpful as she guided me through the kiosk and a rundown on their menu. Loved this place.

By my third visit here, it became a new favorite spot! I believe this is one of the best VALUE places to eat especially during HAPPY HOUR & the weekly specials! I was amazed by many aspects including, the quality of both the cocktails/beer and the tasty food - I tried both vegan and gluten free options which was delicious. Most items being finger foods, my only complaint was getting messy at the end of eating but no shortage of napkins The 5 stars comes from the great food, value, and the LOVELY STAFF!! Each time I was greeted by friendly employees who were also accommodating to my order. Once I had a take out order that came out perfect in addition to the cheap drinks I took to go! THE WORST BURGERS EVER. The burger was like eating some burnt pressed together end scraps. 3 people ate for about $60. Guy who took our order April 15th around 12:30pm was a bit rude. We had a couple of questions since this was our first time coming here and he was over it. Nothing (aside from maybe kids meals?) comes with a side and drink it s all separate. Another employee was cleaning the metal trays in the dining room while we were eating and clanking the trays together which was pretty loud considering the concert floors. We won t be back lesson learned!!

Updated service rating. Be careful when you order your beer. The female bartender that works there will give you 20oz. so she can make more $$ on tips if you are not careful. We came in on a Friday because they have $5 drafts(like thats really deal) and ordered beers and the bartender gave us 20oz. beers without even asking us first and we didnt know she had until we received our tab. The 20oz cost $11 and $12 a piece as opposed to $5/ea. resulting in a bill $25 more than what we intended. I would have raised a stink with the manager but you know, karma is a ...... Be sure to specify your beer size if you order beer.

My friend and I met up here for the Super Bowl, and it was practically empty! Oh well, more food and beer for us! Had the cheeseburger and sweet potato fries and the Infamous Dog Haus Lager, and he had the hottest level of the dry rub chicken wings and the Electric Jellyfish. Everything was delicious, and the service was top-notch!
