I went to Familia Ink for another tattoo and met with Fern. Wow am I glad I did! I came to Fern with a design I had custom made in Arabic calligraphy. He impressed me with his knowledge of the tattoo art and even provided his expertise on the location that I had originally wanted the tattoo done. I ended up changing the location for the better based on his recommendation, the location, the design, and how I wanted the tattoo to look once placed. If I had not had his insight, I would have probably regretted where I originally wanted the tattoo. He was quick to respond both prior to and after the tattoo when I had questions or needed advice, which I really appreciated that it wasnt just ink and forget. Thanks Fern for making my tattoo amazing, Ill be coming back for sure!

My tattoo artist Vegas is an incredible artist. He specializes in black and white art, and he is super willing to work with my ideas. His tattoo design is flawless. So far I have gotten 4 tattoos from him and all of them have healed perfectly. Vegas has a steady hand, and he tends to finish his art faster then other tattoo artists, and he is also more then willing to work with your budget. I came in last week with two ideas and ended up speaking with Chuy. I told him my ideas and that I couldn t figure out how to make them into one design. He explained why my ideas wouldnt turn out as I expected and suggested I do a quarter sleeve to get all the details that I wanted. I m so glad that I trusted him because I ended up with an AMAZING piece that is so detailed and even better than what I was imaginging! I was nervous because I hadn t gotten a tattoo in a long time but he made me feel comfortable and checked to see how I was doing periodically throughout the session. I also ended up getting an industrial piercing and she did a great job too. I would definitely recommend Chuy and Familia Ink for any of your tattoo/piercing needs.

Requested style: I was recommended this place from a coworker, since i m new to the area. so, i went in today with a friend to get my septum and belly pierced, terrible experience. the lady at the front desk took over and was very rough with my belly piercing, and in my opinion it s pierced too far in. the top is straight but then the bottom goes deep into my belly button so the jewelry isn t visible. when she got to my septum she didn t take MY opinion into consideration. she didn t ask me if i liked the placement or anything. i had my septum pierced before and i wanted it in the same spot because it fit my nose shape perfectly. my nose is more pointed and tilted up. she put the clamp into place but i pulled away and said wait but she got annoyed. i pulled away because i could tell it wasn t where i wanted it but she proceeded to pierce it WAYYY too low. it basically sat on my top lip. and it was also too far back, when i scrunched my nose i could feel the bar on my bone. she was extremely impatient, seemed like she was just ready to get it over with that way she could bring in the next person. if i could give 0 stars i would. i ve been to a lot of places for piercings and this was by far the worst one. took both out as soon as i got home money, time and pain waisted.

My aunt, daughter, and I were having a girls day and wanted to get new piercings. Jade was amazing. She was so friendly and She took her time making sure we were happy with everything. Nadia was also great when my daughter lost a ball on her jewelry. She took her right back and replaced it. She also gave us great advise to help with the healing process. I went here to get my nose pierced, there was lots of scar tissue because piercers have been having a hard time line it up symmetrically to my other face piercings. Nadia was amazing, she was so fast and made sure a million times that I liked the placing. She was so sweet got the needle through like cutting butter. Very quick and painless. The whole vibe of the shop was great. Music was great, welcoming environment, aesthetically pleasing and most importantly sanitary.

I contacted this shop for a cover up tattoo on my hand. They responded quickly and Alex asked me to come in so he could get a better idea of what was being covered. He gave me several ideas on what would look good and we settled on one, then we discussed my crazy work schedule and we were able to set an appointment so I would have the most healing time before I had to work. I have several tattoos from different artists and different shops, this was the first time anyone considered my work schedule and healing time when setting an appointment. My husband and I came in on a Thursday evening just to see if they would take us as walk-ins & right away we were greeted and paired up with an artist. Arthur did my butterfly/flower and Alex did my husbands quarter sleeve . Let s just say we will be coming back for sure! The amount of detail and perfectionism these two gentleman have is amazing and we were treated like real Familia from the start! Moving here from a different state and finding a tattoo artist is always a little difficult but we are happy we have found them! Highly highly recommend!!

Vern was my tattoo artist! And he did AHMAZING!! So much detail and the time and patience he had while doing it? SPECTACULAR! Cody was my piercer and he was super gentle and explained everything about how the process would go and made sure I was okay and calm from start to finish! This is the only place to go in Killeen!

Super awesome staff, got my tattoo of Akali from League of Legends done by Ferny (not to mention I was a walk-in and god I m lucky I chose to come). Couldn t be happier and already scheduled a session to get it filled in with color. Really professional environment, these guys know what they are doing. Not to mention they don t try to upsell you or anything. They want your tattoo to look as good as you think it will in your head and it shows in their work. Would rate higher if I could.

I got my first tattoo here and the receptionist was so kind and the Artist Chuy was very honest about where to get my first tattoo which helped me. The best part is that he had a light hand so it didn t hurt ( I knocked out ). I appreciate this place and plan on flying back to Killeen to get my second one from Chuy.

Resembles our son Aiden, its a Virgo tribal, yr of tiger, flowers of the month August (poppy and gladiolus), constellation of Virgo, name and date. Came in for a consult, the tattoo shop alone smelt like the bottom of a trash can, seriously though, the tattoo artist who drew the design probably should go back to school, he let alone cannot draw a stick figure. Said it would cost $200 for one word, probably needed to pay rent since they dont have any other business. Spend your money else where

Professionalism is a 0. Called at 5pm thankful that they said they could get us at 10pm with Carlos. Now mind you its a Saturday night already arranged plans to be here, get here on time and they say oh we tried calling and texting you and no one answered well i asked to see the phone call because we had no missed call or text message but he said he couldnt do that. Then he said he booked another appointment on top of ours. 0 professionalism. Never received a missed call oh i can schedule you the following Sunday no i will go somewhere else. Complete disregard to customers schedules. Not once did we have a miss cal we literally scheduled it 4 hours ago. Glad this happened so I dont spend our money here, who knows how the tattoo wouldve looked.

9 times out of 10 this is my go to spot for tattoos and piercings. Today I went in for a piecing and Cody was the piercer. Had a tattoo done by Chuy Silva. He was professional, punctual and worked with me to get the perfect design chosen and done. He chose adding more detail and doing a fantastic job over a speedier option to create awesome art. Seems like a perfectionist which is definitely a good thing when it comes to tattoos. Walked me through aftercare and talked about future ideas for future pieces. Definitely going back, they all seem like good artists.

I ve come to see the artist *Vegas* twice now! He s super friendly, great prices, and his work is amazing! I personally show him what I want and let him take the wheel, and everything has come out better than the photo I showed him. He s more of a light handed artist, but I m not complaining! Would give 10 stars if I could. I got my nipples pierced today by Ashley and it was amazing. She was so nice and patient and didn t make me feel uncomfortable one bit . I ve been here 3 times for a piercing ( tongue, medusa , and now nipples) and everytime was an amazing experience. Definitely recommend!

I had the best experience. I was a walk in and was greeted immediately. Didnt take long before I was able to talk to an artist and he was able to get me in after his current customer. Fern was awesome. He explained everything, made sure the tattoo was exactly what I wanted. He was super friendly and a cool guy. Afterwards, he made sure I was happy with my tattoo before he cleaned up and took time to explain the after care process and answerd all my questions. I loved the shops vibe, everyone was nice and welcoming and it was clean!! We will be back!!
