Came in on a slow night, maybe it was right before closing to pick up online order and was told to wait a minute for my salad. That minute turned into over 30 minutes while I stood around watching the staff look at me. After waiting over 30 minutes for them to place lettuce and croutons in a to-go box, the chicken I ordered to go on the salad was missing. I had to wait another 15 minutes for them to put chicken on my salad. Lets just say the Angry Crab left me very ANGRY.

Arrived at 1230 no one ever came to the table until 1:00 asked our drink order and I placed an ordered an appetizer, didn t receive until after 130. That is after my husband received his food and I went to find someone to cancel the appetizer. Our waiter was only present when he brought the food. Had to find someone to ask for the check and his response was Young kids don t want to work I spent over $100 and expected bare minimum a waiter that was present. Absolutely will never return, so sad because definitely has potential. The only reason I gave it one for service is because there s not a zero. Placed sucked big time. I will take my money elsewhere

The angry crab shack in Atascocita is a hidden gem. The food is obviously prepared by people with a great deal of experience about Cajun cooking. I ordered the crab and shrimp. They were bathed in this wonderful sauce and seasoning that was a little spicy, but incredibly flavorful. The corn,and potatoes, all made the experience, very warming to the heart. My wife ordered the fried shrimp and fries. They butterflied the shrimp and pounded until they were gigantic! The atmosphere, the vibe and the service was very relaxing and definitely a place to return to. If only crab was cheaper, lol

Sadly disappointed. A crab boil should include potatos and eggs but instead they charge you extra for those items. The platter looked so empty with only 2 halves of a whole corn and a few pieces of sausage for two people. We paid the price for two people but got served one portion. We ordered fried calamari and the looked like onion rings on the outside and were rubbery. we got a total of 6 pieces of calamari for two people. It s like they had run out of it. No dipping butter options. So I wouldn t send friends there. Payed way too much for so very little.

Ok, let me first say : that I was NOT expecting this type of experience . I walk in, Eric greets me - what a GREAT VIBE HE HAS - I could feel his great mood and that he s HAPPY to be working here. Too many restaurants I can TELL THAT vibe is FAKE!! Not here. He went thru the menu with me and based on what types seafood I like, he made suggestions. You can put together ANY blend of seafood- THEN- choose your FLAVORING. There are quite a few choices from MILD- to OMG. LOL I usually do NOT like ANYthing but BLAND mild, but he talked me into the garlic blend that had a little kick and I was surprised at just how much I enjoyed it. The crab was FRESH, I can TELL, because it was SOOO easy to just slide out of the shell once I cracked it open. I didn t have WORK WORK WORK to get the meat out. The atmosphere : music playing - thank GOD it wasn t BORING!!! This food, was AWESOME. Hats off to the cook!!! The drink (I RARELY drink ) was a Tongue and Groove . Had some rum in it pineapple n a few other ingredients- it was DELICIOUS!!! Just the right amount of alcohol. I haven t given a restaurant 5 stars in a LONG time. This place, DESERVES it. See what can happen if ya just TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT?

Sean was everything!!!! We went for my grandsons 6th birthday and he made the night magical! He entertained my grandsons and made them feel special and even brought the crew out to sing happy birthday!!!! The food and drinks were delicious and came out hot and fast!!!! My wife and I came here on a whim while we were in town one evening and wow! Our server Eric was super friendly and attentive. Even though we got there close to close the food was still amazing and fresh made. I cant say enough about the lobster rolls! The only time Ive had a better one was standing on a dock in the harbor in Maine. Definitely recommend this place!!!

The food is great. My wife and I have gone here twice and loved it. The staff is friendly but the entire restaurant is incredibly casual. Make sure that you re okay with that, but the staff still works hard to serve and ensure you re enjoying your experience. Dietary restrictions: I m sure everything is cooked in butter but as long as you don t order hush puppies or anything like that, you should have no issues being gluten free.

Ive been here once before and had a nice waitress, and the food was good. Tried going back again tonight with my husband and our boys, who hadnt been. We walked in and the host came up to us after we stood there for a couple of mins. Not too bad. He sat us down and told us our waitress would be right with us, we viewed the menu, kids played tic tac toe on the paper, and our waitress never came to even take our drink order. She assisted the people right behind us as they were ready to just pay and then proceeded to a big table to take their order. Finished with them and seemed like she was about to head in the direction of our table but instead turned around and went the opposite way. She passed by our table at least 4 times, and not once did she acknowledge us, no eye contact, no nothing, she flat out ignored us! After about 10 mins of waiting and nothing, we got up and left. No apology or any type of acknowledgment from anyone on our way out either. Doubt well ever return. Food may be good, but service was extremely disappointing. A, Hello, Ill be right with you. Wouldve been nice and goes a long way! They werent even that busy except for the one big table she had.

Went here with a friend. Started off really good until the food came. I had 3 boiled eggs, but 2 had egg shells on them. When I told the waitress, (and this is where it went south real quick), she said we can t guarantee you eggs without a shell! Ummm ma am, you boil them and drop them in cold water so the shell comes off in tact. My eggs looked like they had been traumatized when I took them out the bag!!!!! First time coming. The waitresses were so nice and the food was soooo good. I will def be back. I told cookie it was my first time having crab boil and she was so sweet about it. Even the greeter was really sweet. I just can t say enough good things about it. Sn: when they warn you about the spiciness BELIEVE THEM. Our waiter, Eric, and waitress Makayla were the best. They made sure we had everything we needed and continue to refill our drinks. Now the food on the other hand. Starters I had calamari which was a little burnt on the breading and had no flavor. I got the headless Shrimp Medium spice, not knowing how their sauces were and how spicy they would be. Medium was not spicy at all taste more like mild. I ordered with add-ons of sausage and potatoes. They were both good just no spice to them as well. My husband ended up getting a salmon bowl with veggies and white rice. He didn t complain, but he wasn t fully satisfied it was not fulfilling and was a small portion for the price.

I recently visited Angry Crab Shack for a crawfish boil and also tried the charred oysters. The trifecta sauce they use for the boil is outstanding its infused during the process, not just poured on top, and the heat level was perfectly hot. Reggie, our waiter, provided excellent service, making our first visit quite welcoming. The drinks were delicious as well. However, the charred oysters were a bit undercooked. When I brought this up, the manager was very accommodating and addressed the issue promptly. Also, there was a minor hiccup with the restroom amenities as the soap and hand sanitizer dispensers stopped working, but I managed to work around it. I appreciate the attentive service and the military discount they offer. Despite a few issues, the overall experience was positive.

Good food. It took more than 45 minutes to serve us. Then 40 more minutes for the food to arrive at the table. Then they brought us a very spicy food despite asking for it WITHOUT spicy. I mean, the service is not good. After paying the bill we were about to leave when one of the workers approached us to reproach us for not leaving a tip, as if it were obligatory or as if they treated us well, and the bill was passed net, it did not reflect tips like in other restaurants! For me I wouldnt have left anything but my husband agreed to leave something. You know that the waiters are rounded up with tips. But please EARN IT, serve them well. I will NOT return to that place.

It s been my second time here at the angry crab shack and my overall experience was amazing both times. Jackie went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect experience as well as shawn. The food was great and so were the staff members! This is a very kid friendly establishment as well, my daughter got to color and was even offered the chance to paint. Shawn eventually brought out a live crab and lobster to show my daughter while we waited for our food to be brought out. Each and every staff member was very tentative with great attitudes!

Some of the best boils Ive ever had. Spicy and so flavorful. The trifecta flavor is where its at. Update, 5/27/24 went today and noticed the service and food was sub par. The wait to order and get our food was extremely long and to finally check out. Was a total 1 hr and a 45 min. The lobster rolls werent great as usual ( not much meat or flavor) but my wife really enjoyed her salmon. Just a little disappointed.

This was the best seafood restaurant I have been to since Hurricane Harvey. Immediately upon entering the mood was set, zydeco and blues music gave me a welcoming energy. I was anxious to be seated, and that didnt take long at all. All the staff was friendly and attentive which made my dining experience more enjoyable. My family really enjoyed the carefully seasoned and bold flavors of their boil. The fried catfish basket was definitely delicious and will be a Mothers favorite any day of the year. Lastly, before we left the table we were able to make our mark. It felt so good to be mischievous without getting into trouble. I look forward to coming back soon. Disheartened & disappointed. I ordered the Crab boil & fish n chips totaling about $100. The boil was bland, overcooked (chewy shrimp), and the crab legs were quite small. I went here because of the reviews. Unfortunately, it was not better then our usual spot Captain Crawfish. I can honestly say the crawfish was not well seasoned, nor was it worth $17.00@ lb for crawfish!!!! Then, here you have to pay per potato and corn. At Captain Crawfish they don t make you pay, when you already buy so much. Also the potatoes & corn are half the size of Captain Crawfish and are stingy with seasoning there food. Finally, we spent $70.00 at Captain Crawfish (with lobster and an extra side vs $107.00 at Angry Crab(just crawfish and tiny some potatoes and corns).

Hello,... I have been here many times and absolutely love it. I guess today wasnt our day. We usually come in the evenings but wanted to come for lunch. So disappointing. Today will be the first time that I have to complain and we were celebrating husbands bday.. 1st We called to reserve in the morning for a table of 12 for 2 pm. We got the ok that it was settled only to arrive and be told there was no reservation. Good thing that we were basically the only ones there, and they were able to seat us. But if not, it would have been a problem. 2nd Eric was the one to wait on us. And he was pleasant until he was the only one waiting on all other tables when things picked up and we constantly had to try to get his attention for refills or anything because if we asked someone else, we where told, Ill get your waiter. Poor guy. No help when there were plenty of other staff just standing around. Our appetizers were sad. We got a total of 4 appetizers. Our clams where extremely fried to dry practically another 30 secs from tasting burnt, (both orders) along with the hush puppies, our grilled oysters where grilled to perfect dryness and hard to take off the shell to eat. My seafood boil was not at all what I was used to getting. It lacked sauce. Like really lacked. I had to order a pint of sauce on the side just to get what we are used too and I usually order the pint to go not for in-house use, but not this time. Liken i said Ive been there multiple times, and this was the first time we looked bad in front of the guest we invited after we bragged. Told them next time it would be on us. I think in total, our table nearly dished out at least $500, including tip. Which was a bit confusing since we where told if we wanted to add additional tip, it would go straight to our waiter but the tip that was already added to our bill goes split between all who helped, especially when he was the only one waiting the tables. IDk. But we didnt add additional tips. I thought even thought the tip added was too much for the service that we didnt get, or better yet, partially got. And we do not have a problem giving great tips, especially when youve done a great job. But overall,...Angry crab you disappointed me and my family today on this special occasion. Better be happy that I know this is not the usual cause it would have been my 1st and last time. Ill be back, but not during the day. Hopefully, you can bring back the great 5 stars in me. I love the Angry Crab Shack. My husband and I went here for dinner, and everything was wonderful. We arrived just before happy hour was over and the drinks were half off. The drink selection was great, we tried the hurricane, Cajun Bloody Mary, and the bucket of rum which was my favorite. My favorite place to get a Bloody Mary was Salt Grass Steak House, until now. I thought a Bloody Mary couldnt get any better, then I tried the Angry Crab Shack Cajun Bloody Mary, the Angry Crab Shack went to the next level by far with the Cajun Bloody Mary. The Angry Crab Shack has a wonderful selections of sauce. We tried the Trifecta, it prefect blend of Cajun, Lemon Pepper, and Garlic, which Eric highly recommended. Eric the manager at the Angry Crab Shack goes above and beyond with the customers and staff. Erics devotion, care, and love for the Angry Crab Shack is so nurturing that we thought he was the owner. The Angry Crab Shack is by far my new favorite restaurant. I would love to eat here everyday if my husband would let me. I highly recommend the Angry Crab Shack to anyone that likes seafood or just looking for a good mix drink with a great atmosphere.

Red beans & rice were not flavorful. The food did not come out hot from the kitchen, and the wait was almost an hour after we ordered. Then, only one person at a time made it hard to eat together. Appetizers were cold and greasy or overcooked mushy. Especially disappointing was the fish & chips. We sent it back. Paid our check, tipped our sweet server, and left. The kitchen needs to be better. Seating was out of order, we were there first and a large party was seated before us. Restaurant was not crowded, tables were available but took almost 30 minutes to be seated.
